Easiest and most informative eye exam Ive ever had! Everyone was very professional and courteous. I felt very welcome.

The optometrist was great...however if you have EyeMed insurance, avoid this place. I had to switch to a new provider after moving to Alabama. Ive had the same insurance for years, and I have the same benefits Ive had. I verified on my member page the details, and that my contact lens exam would be a max of $39. When I went to check out, it was $102. The young lady at the counter simply stated they had issues with EyeMed, and they had to charge this way. That I could get a receipt and file the claim myself. This is supposed to be an in-network provider! And if there was such an issue, it should have been stated when I checked in.This is a rip off way to get around waiting on the insurance company to pay the claim. Instead, advertise as if you provide in-network benefits, dont say a word, and get your money at the end of the exam. I mean, I had my prescriptions and my new contacts already in my eyes, couldnt back out of the service at that point.I know it is just attached to LensCrafters, but both places have lost my business, and my familys business, wherever we may go.Again, the doctor was great, but not worth the hassle. I wanted to buy my contacts, and maybe a new pair of glasses, but now Ill go elsewhere. My wife needs new glasses, and now I have to find a new place. The young lady at the counter needs to learn customer service, and apparently, how to file an insurance claim.
