I was so pleased with everyone at Eye Associates! I felt welcomed when I first walk in! Everyone was very friendly and very informative.Brianna was very efficient and explained the tests I was having.I loved, loved Dr. Schwertz! She was amazing! I could tell by her kind and enthusiastic manner she really loved her profession. She explained everything which I appreciated so much as this was my first eye exam.I will definitely return and recommend them to anyone who will listen!I was not as pleased with the Lens visit. I felt he was not really listening to my concerns about costs and was not very helpful.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Bonnie-Kim Schwertz and all the staff at Eye Care Associates. She was very knowledgeable and explained and answered all of my questions thoroughly and listened very intently to me. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

Staff very courteous, polite, and very prompt in getting me back to exam room. Dr Amos use to be my physician until she retired this past year. Saw Dr Hammonds for first time-she exceeded my expectations. Professional yet personable; very helpful in answering questions, did not hurry to get to next patient, and a very good listener, very competent. Highly recommend her to others

This was my first ever eye exam so I had a lot of questions, and it was a great experience. Kim was great at the front desk. There wasnt much paperwork, and they got me back quickly. Breanna and Dr. Schwertz were amazing. They were very efficient in taking me through a very comprehensive series of tests and were very thorough. They were also very kind to answer all the questions I had as a first-time patient. I would recommend this clinic and especially Breanna and Dr. Schwertz to anyone, and I have already told my co-worker to go see them. Thank you!

One of the most thoroughest eye exams I have ever had. Dr. Hammonds was outstanding and when it came time to pick out and purchase my glasses Andrew did an outstanding job with customer service!!!

My (now former) eye doctor requested unnecessary tests. It took months and several unreturned messages to get someone to answer my questions. The office staff and manager were not helpful and lacked urgency in returning my calls. When my call was finally returned the manager was not helpful nor cheerful. They did not care to listen to me as a patient and because of all these issues I do not recommend.

It was definitely a five star experience everyone was professional and the dr explained everything clearly

It had been some time between visits to an optometrist and my more regular ophthalmologists. I found the three assistants and one optometrist to be empathetic to my situation which I think is rare. I was treated well and taken care of by all. I think the eye exam series was the most comprehensive I have ever had. Being in my 60s I had conversations which included discussions of multifocal contact lenses and cataracts plus premium IOL choices. I loved the visit and will continue with this group. I am lined up for a multifocal contact lens fitting (why cant I be without glasses) and know I need an eyeglass pair with new prescription to back up contact lens use.

They are efficient and meet their appointments on time.

I was sent back within 10 minutes of my appointment time. The assistant was very efficient with the preliminary testing. Dr. Hines was very kind and informative. When I told her I wanted monthly contacts instead of dailies, she understood and didnt try to force dailies on me like many doctors. The rep in the frames room went above and beyond to help me pick out frames I was happy with. My first pair came two days after my appointment, and my second pair will be in within 2 weeks. I was very happy with my visit!

Everyone who works here is wonderful but Dr. Schwertz is really above and beyond fabulous! She listens and takes her time to address all concerns you may have and she truly advocates for her patients and what is in their best interest. She provides wonderful care and I highly recommend her.

I highly recommend these guys! They are so great, efficient, and friendly. I see Dr. White, and shes phenomenal. She ensures to carefully explain everything and address any and every issue I have. You can tell they take great pride in their work and are very thorough. 5+ stars for these guys.

I experienced a long wait time when I went in last week. The Doctor is great. I think if your appointment is at 9:20, you should be seen within 20 minutes. I will admit the I am impatient. All of my other appointments at other establishments see me within 5 minutes. What’s the point in having a appointment, if you can’t be seen around that time.

Excellent staff and service. I loved the atmosphere it was pleasant and welcoming. I really liked Dr. White he made me feel valued and my exam was informative and comfortable. I did not meet one rude person and neither was I left unattended when I was shopping for eyewear. So heck yeah I will be referring people to this location. Five Stars is what you deserve!

Will be changing offices due to the very poor time management and lack of respect for patients time. Every year i have been going for the past four i have had to wait for at least an hour for Dr. Hines. she is very good and pleasant , however either her or the office scheduling is not good. this is not a COVID issue. this has been each year. I work less than 1/4 mile from this location and with at least 4 other office co workers who use her and like her but not her time management and lack of respect for patients time as many of us come on our lunch break. i understand emergency come up and may have to wait longer than usual due to unseen circumstances once in awhile but when its every year and joked about at office with co workers who use location office and Dr. then it is not us its YOU

Timely, friendly, polite, professional

My first visit to the Hoover location. I was more than impressed with the professionalism by each associate from the front counter all the way around. Kara took care of all the preliminary tests and was beneficial in making me comfortable as I felt I was bombing several eye tests. Dr. Amos was very helpful explaining everything as she went along. I am looking forward to many years to come.

Staff very friendly and professional. Dr. Hang is friendly, professional and very thorough with her exams. I always look forward to my appointments because the atmosphere there is delightful and very amiable!

I had a wonderful experience at EyeCare Associates in Hoover! Dr. Amos definitely ranks at the top of the list not only for her physician skills, but also for her amazing care and concern for her patients, personally. From the time you enter the front door until you leave, you will experience excellent customer service. I recently move to Northern Alabama and I have no plans whatsoever to change eye doctors. I will gladly do the long drive. They have modern equipment, clean and attractive office space and knowledgeable team members. Im sure all the doctors are great but Im on Team Amos!

The entire staff was amazing when we had our first visit there a couple of weeks ago. My daughter and I were made very comfortable and the exam was very thorough. Dr. Hang is wonderful and easy to talk to. We will be coming back here and also bringing the hubby and my other daughter!

We love the doctor, but the optical shop is lacking. We have been waiting three weeks for glasses and we have been given a couple of different stories as to why they have not been received. The next time glasses are needed we will take the prescription somewhere else.

Rob Pate and his staff are wonderful. I always feel like they are so glad to see me and I have a deep level of confidence in the care I am receiving. I have recommended Dr. Pate to everyone I have talked to who needs a great eye doctor--in fact, my husband is there this morning!

As a patient of Dr. Hammonds for over 10 years, I continue recommend her to anyone I encounter whos in search of an eye care professional. She is always willing to take the extra step to make sure her patients (which include several members of my family) are taken care of.

My children and I are all patients of Dr. Pates. It has been a positive experience every time we have been to the office, even when we have walked in without an appointment to get my sons glasses fixed. I have also recommended him to several people and would not hesitate to do it again.

Ive been with Dr. Amos for about 38 years and always want her to check out my eyes. She is very professional but also very friendly. I recommend her to anyone who needs a wonderful eye doctor.

Today was my first visit and I was very impressed with the entire staff especially Dr. Pate.

Apparently they changed owners and most of the staff has left. Dr. Amos was fantastic as usual but the 2 hour appointment, LONG wait, disorganization and terrible service from everybody else will have me looking elsewhere for my next checkup.

I miss dr.pate, but dr. Ansley is good too

They miss represented the quality of the frames they sold me. The metal in the frames fatigued after 6 months and I had to replace them at full cost. This isnt why they get the 1 star. The 1 star is for the poor customer service. I will not return and do not recommend them for purchasing frames/Eyewear.

This office is absolutely AWFUL!!! Poor customer service and it takes so long to get your order back. I waited an entire month to hear from them and I have yet to pick up my glasses from them.
