Had my 6 month cleaning and check up today. Been coming to the Family since its opening!!! Had the A team of Laura and Christian do my cleaning, and they are the best in the business!! And Dr. Justin did a look over to make sure all was good with my gums and teeth health! They are, just what they say they are, a family business, thats why they are constantly busy!! Its hard to please everyone with every issue there is in life, but if you want good work and an honest opinion of your dental needs, Family Dentistry is the place!!

I found this practice several years ago when I lived in Stafford and will continue with this practice even though I’ve relocated to Richmond. The quality, care snd compassion is well worth the 100 mile round trip.

Dr. Neibauer and his whole staff are so fantastic! I loved everything about them. Our whole family is going to switch over to his practice. They are so professional, knowledgeable, personable, and at the same time laid-back. They explain all of your available options to you and let you decide what you would (or wouldn’t) like to have done. 10/10 would recommend 😃

Ive been going to this practice for over a year and Im always impressed at the professionalism and the way they make everyone feel at home. They take time to listen. My latest experience was a broken crown on my front tooth, they worked to get me in immediately. Trust them with your teeth and overall health. You wont be disappointed.

The doctor is great, friendly and even a great creative engineer when it comes to teeth. Unfortunately its the office staff that poorly reflect on him recently. My entire family will be going to another dentist due to effective failure to communicate and provide any medium of communication if we are unhappy besides having to write reviews like this. It takes just one event like this in the world of customer service to say goodbye and tell everyone that you know of your negative experience.

Had a appointment today. The entire staff is just outstanding. The front desk is very efficient and friendly. It took me a total of 5 minutes to complete the entire check-in process.The young lady who got me set up with x-rays and in the exam room was a delight to talk to while she was setting up.As for the doctor even though he had not seen me in 9 months he was up to date on everything and even seemed to remember my last visit. Doctor Neibauer is just the best.I would recommend Freedom Family to anyone.

I have a mouth full of crowns and veneers due to a sports injury in my teens. Over 20 years later, and about 20 years since my last dentist visit, I had a front tooth crown completely dissappear. Within 24 hours I had a temporary crown from Dr. Neibauer and an appointment set for a permanent one. I was in and out during the work day and didnt miss a beat.

The staff is always so pleasant. I’ve never had to wait. The hygienist’s are absolutely the best. They’re very thorough and efficient. I would never want to go anywhere else

Unbelievably uncaring condescending and rude front desk appointment clerk. Her total and complete lack of compassion was stunning. It was also hurtful and insulting. Ive worked in medical offices and there is no way that behavior such as hers would have ever been tolerated in any of them - not for one minute. Being treated as I was by this front desk employee spoke volumes and told me all I need to know. Therefore, Ill be getting my dental care elsewhere. Period.

The office does a great job with appointment notifications utilizing both texting and emailing. Insurance estimates for any treatment plan are are presented at checkout. All insurance paperwork is filed by the office. The front office is very efficient, professional and courteous.The hygienists are all very nice and understanding, listening to your concerns in order to give you an excellent experience.And last but not least, Dr. Neibauer is the best dentist I have ever encountered. I began going to him when he first moved to town and heard that he was so young to be running a new office that it must have been because of his last name. I was so impressed by him that I followed him to his current location. He has all the assets a great dentist and business owner should possess. He is extremely skilled, keeps up with the latest technology and provides a healthy, caring environment for his employees and clients by listening and working toward a common goal of healthy teeth. He is a perfectionist and holds himself to a very high standard and I would say he puts 110% into his business because he loves what he does. Fredericksburg is blessed that he chose to make it his permanent home and stay to raise his family here.

I had my first experience getting a dental treatment in the US today. Freedom Family Dentistry is excellent in every way. Friendliness, professionalism, accommodations to my limited movement, patiently waiting for translation in Spanish and above all, a fine procedure without pain!!

We have been going here for years and we have never had issues. The staff is really patient and friendly and Dr. Neibauer is great. At the beginning of the year, my oldest had her very first cleaning and the staff was very patient with her since she was so nervous. They were so great, when we went back for her 2nd cleaning, she already knew what was happening, but the hygienist still explained everything to her to make her more comfortable. Will continue to go to Freedom Family Dentistry as long as we are able to.

I am not a fan of the dentist. That’s an understatement. I’ve also been to almost every dentist in this town. I don’t know what brought me to Freedom Dental a year ago, but I’ll never go anywhere else. I finally feel hardly any anxiety going to the dentist. The Dr. is so kind and patient and gentle. I really have nothing but the highest regard for the dental team at Freedom Family Dentistry, for the dental services they have provided. They put themselves at great risk to provide me with dental health care, and have really provided excellent service to me to this point. However, not to be overly dramatic, but I write this review with a heavy heart. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I observed behaviors that were troubling to me. As a result, I held back one star, due to their reluctance to observe Covid precautions. It is really saddens me because the staff, in particular Laura the assistant that has always taken care of my teeth, and Dr. Neibaur, have provided outstanding care. I’ve thought about it more since my appointment this week and come to the realization I can no longer allow them to provide my dental health care. Allowing customers to not observe basic Covid precautions, and as I personally observed some staff members walk around maskless, is not acceptable behavior for me from my health care provider. I do want to say, thank you to FFD for the great service you have provided for me in the past.

The hygienists are fantastic and the dentist is always great about explaining what they’re seeing, recommendations and any potential future actions. I used to just find the closest dentist to me, but after having a bad experience at a different office (not Freedom), I will happily drive to see the team at Freedom Family Dentistry because I trust them and they are honest.

Justin Neibauer & Freedom Family Dentistry is the absolute best in Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania County. Every person that works there cares about your dental concerns and they are very professional. Top Notch. I’ve been a patient for maybe 3 years now. I’m also receiving Invisalign treatment, cleanings etc and can attest that along with the doctor Tracie, Jackie , Jen, Tiffany, Marie, Mellisa and the ENTIRE staff are very knowledgeable in making you feel at ease with what ever procedures you are there for , the office is very clean & equipped with state of the art equipment and the staff is very courteous and respectful. I personally never ever write reviews on anything I purchase or my experiences but I do respect this dentist, his staff & their work ethic .

The overall experience was wonderful. The facility was impeccable, the healthcare staff were knowledgeable and professional and the checkout was stupendous. I was, however, concerned that there were no COVID protocols in place other than the healthcare staff wearing masks. There was no mask wearing requirement for the facility in spite of it being a healthcare establishment. The people at the front desk were not wearing masks and no one in the waiting room were wearing masks nor were they socially distant. I didnt even get asked COVID questions. 😕

I had a really bad experience at the last dentist I went to and Ive been dreading going to the dentist ever since. Dr. Neibauer and the entire staff did everything possible to ease my nervousness. Ive had a few cleanings and a wisdom tooth extracted so far and everything went so smoothly. I would definitely reccomend them to anyone with dental anxiety!

The front office staff was very friendly and professional. The building was clean, well lit, and the staff were continuously wiping things down and cleaning, due to COVID. The dental hygienist was absolutely amazing! She was thorough, answered all of my questions, kept me informed throughout my entire cleaning, and was friendly. I only saw the dentist for a few moments, but he did go over each of my concerns and showed me my dental pictures and x-ray images. Overall, I would highly recommend Freedom Family Dentistry. We love this place. Myself and my husband are both Vets and as a result were TERRIFIED of dentists. Dr. Neibauer is amazing as is his staff. Weve been going here many years. He is very common sense, not pushy and takes how you feel into consideration when giving options. He does the least invasive procedure to fix the problem and is an absolute sweetheart! His staff love working for him (Ive never heard them say a bad thing when I tell them I think hes the best and they always agree).

I’ve gone to Freedom Family Dentistry for a handful of years. The first thing that sticks out in terms of the operation of the office is that even when I have a late afternoon appointment, I’m not left waiting because they are behind schedule, which is typically been my experience elsewhere. They are well managed in their scheduling and caring for patients. Additionally, I have always really enjoyed my experiences with the hygienists and dentists. The hygienists are fabulous and are some of the most friendly and personable that I’ve had the pleasure to interact with.

As usual, I had a major issue and Dr. Jason N. To the rescue. I was there at 11:30 - filled out paperwork, x-ray, consultation, pictures, numbing, extraction and back in my car by 12:30.He is gentle, he listens and does what you feel is best for you. I have been a patient of his off and on for 20 years. Due to our insurance situations is the reason for off and on. NOT because of any wrongdoing there. The best dentist I have ever had. The staff. Janice is amazing. Kind and compassionate as well.

They were able to deal with all three of my daughters (ages teen-5) making each feel comfortable and safe. All three had appointments scheduled between 530-600 PM, they were all completed by 615. Now if I can just get my daughters to all brush their teeth well!

I left my previous dentist due to the persistent up-selling of products and services, and scare tactics they used on me. Being a chain dentistry, it seemed like they always had a financially led motive with every visit. Once I was told I needed braces and was pestered into starting a payment plan immediately. It felt odd because my teeth are in perfect alignment and I have enough space between them. They said I needed braces because my teeth were too close together and they will fall out if I do not get braces immediately. I went to Freedom Family Dentistry for a second opinion and turns out, not only do I not need braces, but my teeth are in good condition (contrary to what I had been led to believe from my previous dentist for years...and thousands of dollars later). For the first time ever I left a dentist (FFD) without any extra unnecessary services being pushed on me. I was educated by the hygienist on ways I can start implementing healthier habits on my own, not by purchasing their products or starting new expensive plans. I am so thankful to have a dentist I can finally trust!
