Had a hip replacement May of 2020. After 2 weeks I was driving my car, and after 3 weeks was back on my motorcycle. Dr. Farmer is simply the best! Now its time to replace the other one. Cant wait!

Dr. Farmer operated on my rotator cuff 4 years ago and now did a hip replacement on my husband. I would highly recommend Dr. Farmer who always gets it right!!!

Dr. Farmer and his team are a group of specialists whom I would always want on my team. They are consummate professionals, with excellent diagnostic skills, and most important to me; companionate. Dr. Farmer actually listen to me and answered all of my questions. Not only my questions, my husband’s as well. We knew my knee replacement surgery was a bit more complicated than normal. (Let’s not forget COVID on the sidelines.) I did not think I would be able to walk. Dr. Farmer did assure me, I would. Within five weeks surgery has been completed and today, with no walker or cane, I’m out and about (don’t tell my Physical Therapist.)

Just had knee surgery yesterday. I saw Dr. Farmer because the Human Resources Department where I work highly recommended him. They said that employees who see Dr. Farmer return to work in half the time of those who see other surgeons. Dr. Farmer is exceptionally efficient and professional. He precisely answers questions, but does not dilly-dally with small talk. I would highly recommend Dr. Farmer for your orthopedic needs. His staff is also excellent!

I have been in care of Dr Mark Farmer and his excellent staff at the Orthopedic Center of Florida, Ft Myers, for a year while they ( Dr Jaclyn Holt, Dr Andrew Gross, Dr George Soliman, Dr Eric) were nursing me along with my hip. At the end there was no way around a full hip replacement. I grew confident in Dr Farmer and his team; they were always upfront and clear in their assessment and I was well informed by them and my own research. The surgery date was set for Dec 6, 2018. It went so smoothly; when I woke up in the recovery room i was surprised when they told me it was all done ! Everything was organized so well and it went so well from check-in to my same-day release home. Transportation had been arranged by a wheelchair equipped van. It was great to be able to start my recovery at home which had been set up for it. Home Care was beautifully handled be All About Home Care with regular visits by their Physiotherapist and a Male Nurse, both really very good. Throughout the process Dr Farmer and his staff stayed in touch with me to make sure my recovery was going well, with regular follow-up visits scheduled at his office. I feel that I was and am in best hands with Dr Farmer and his team. He is a fabulous surgeon with a great personality. I know I was lucky to have found him and can confidently and whole heartedly recommend him. Knowing that he has a great team behind him is a huge Plus as well as Lee Healths Physiotherapy Center which is in the same building and is well run & staffed. FIVE STARS all the way !!!

Such a great and caring doctor. I would recommend anyone that needs orthopedic surgery to see Dr. Farmer right away. I had a total left hip replacement, and I started to walk on the same day of the surgery. His staff is also great, they make it easy from pre-op to post op, and recovery. Really smooth in the way Dr. Farmers team works. I just cannot say how much Dr. Farmer has made my life so much better. I thank you so much Doc, I would recommend anyone who is living with a messed up hip or knee to see Dr. Farmer today.

Most professional not pushing surgery but giving all options. Carefully explains all procedures. Excellent surgeon and all staff most helpful especially Eric .

Had knee surgery a year and a half ago. Spent time going over every option and was helpful prior and after. Highly recommend.

Dr. Farmer replaced my knee, he did a perfect job and I feel like new again

Dr. Farmer performed emergency surgery on my wife. She had fallen and fractured her femur. He put in a rod and pins to support the femur bone only to have it collapse. We went to him to evaluate the situation. He prescribed a re-do. Which was ok by her. Knowing that she needed the re -do as an emergency operation he sent her home. He should have sent her right to the hospital because she was in severe pain. We had to find another Dr. to perform the re-do in which he replaced the hip and supported the femur. Dr. that performed the re-do surgery couldnt believe that Farmer didnt even call to find out how she was doing. So much for bed side manner. All I have to say about Dr. Farmer is shame on him!...

He did rotator cuff surgery on me a few years ago and just recently had an X-ray on that shoulder and my new doctor cant believe he was so aggressive in shaving off the bone! You cant get bone back!!
