Weve had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Guido. He has treated our 3 young children, all who had very challenging dental issues, and did an amazing job addressing and repairing the problems to create lasting and practical solutions for their age. He is wonderful with our children and always takes as much time as is necessary to answer all our questions and thoroughly explain treatment options. Were so grateful to have found Mountain Kids and would highly recommend Dr. Guido and the entire practice!

The staff were all very friendly and the office was nice! We were there for our 3 month old daughters lip tie. The dentist did a great job with the procedure. They were behind on the schedule, but I want to assume that its because they are intentional with their patients!

This place is fantastic! I went here with my son today for his first dental appointment (hes 3) and it could not have gone better. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, he had the time of his life.All the employees listened to him and talked to him, respecting his feelings and point of view. They even called him by his name of the day, War Machine. Overall, a very kind staff and my son cant wait for his next appointment to get his teeth tickled (as the hygienist called the fluoride treatment).

Just went here for my 2 year olds first appointment. Staff was friendly and patient, and so good with him! The hygienist and dentist went of their way to make it fun and easy.

We have been going here for years and are still highly satisfied. I think I will be sad once my children start going to an adult practice. All of the dentists are friendly and kind and dont push unnecessary treatments. The hygienists are all super sweet and do a fast efficient job. We love it here.

This dentist will turn you in to CPS if you miss an appointment, not knowing whether you’ve gone to a different dentist or not! This is a pretty serious accusation and I don’t recommend anyone bring their child here! I know I won’t!

This place is amazing! I have five kids and all of them look forward to their appointments at Mountain Kids. Everyone in the office, from when you walk in at the front desk, to when you check out, makes you feel warm and welcome. The physical set up is clean, open, airy, and cheerful with lots of big windows and fun colors. The dentists are knowledgeable, kind, and give you ample time to discuss any concerns you may have. We are lucky to have Mountain Kids in Fort Collins.

They were so kind and patient and thorough. Kiddos tend to ask a lot of questions and they answered everything that was thrown at them. My kiddo got to look at x-rays, touch tools, ask questions, and never felt like they were a nuisance. We absolutely love Mountain Kids Pediatric Dentistry! My son has been seeing Dr. Joe Guido since he was 6 weeks old, when we first brought him in for a tongue & lip tie evaluation. He treated my wife respectfully and with so much empathy for the situation, as she was very scared to be bringing in our 6 week old for a possible surgical procedure. He evaluated our son and determined he didnt need anything done - not only were we grateful that he didnt need anything done, we were grateful for the honest evaluation. Most of our friends who have gone to other pediatric dentists just end up with a tongue and lip tie recession, without an evaluation of necessity. Since then, we drive up from Denver to continue to see Dr. Joe. Our son is now 3 and absolutely loves going to the dentist. Its such a fun office! And beyond that, you can feel the difference when you walk in, everyone cares about your kiddo. If you are looking for a great pediatric dentist office - youve found it.

Best child dentist place ever. Took my 2 year old there for the first time and everyone one that he interacted with were so sweet. Dentist was theough and answered every question we had. He can’t wait to go back already.

We saw dr. Shivaun for the first yesterday. She was wonderful with my daughter. Looked at her and answered all her questions then addressed my questions completely. My daughter has pretty high anxiety and the staff were all great understanding her needs and how she vocalized when she was nervous. Loved them.

We have always had great experiences here. The staff are great with kids and making them feel at ease and explaining stuff to them in a way they understand. My son just had 4 teeth removed and it was so smooth and easy. They talked him through everything and made him very comfortable.

Mountain kids have been amazing with my 6 year old she had previously had several caps and fillings and despite multiple attempts the old dentists fillings continued to fall out and her caps were really painful but mountain kids fixed all of it on one appointment they figured out the caps were too big and replaced them and fixed the rest and my daughter no longer has any pain and isn’t scared to go back because her new dentist didn’t hurt her I will never go to or recommend anyone else they are so fantastic! Even her surgery was much easier with them her previous surgery she came out in a lot of pain with her nose and throat bleeding from her breathing tubes being put in and pulled out to roughly but she was not in pain and back to herself in just a few hours after her surgery with mountain kids they really are amazing!

My daughter and I had such a great experience visiting Mountain Kids this summer prior to going back to school. Despite the chaos with the pandemic and all that was up in the air with a return to school, I knew due to years of entrusting our care to their staff that I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing. The best service was extended once again and everything was super safe and clean. My kid always leaves this office inspired to care for her teeth and as well as her entire body. She even wanted to go find a “stuffie” to make someone’s day just as they did at her visit for finally ditching the paci. They always go ABOVE AND BEYOND. Nothing but raves from this mama AND, more importantly, her kid!

Our visit today went extremely well with all the COVID precautions that were taken. We were in and out in a timely matter. Very well done job to the crew today at Mountain kids Pediatric Dentistry.

They quickly got my daughter back which helped keep her anxiety about the visit down, and she got a stuffed animal at the end of her visit which she loved and held all the way home. The work they did looks great and they were all very professional.

It’s hard to know where to begin with how wonderful Mountain Kids Pediatric Dentistry is! My 2 boys have been a patient at Mtn Kids since they were practically babies! From the front to the back, beginning to end of care, they have the nicest, most caring and knowledgeable staff I have ever encountered. They become almost like family. Everyone quickly learns your face and acknowledges you by your first name whether you’re in person or on the phone. They remember specific and personal things about your life that they learned from past appointments and always asks you about them even 6 months later upon each check up. The kids are always greeted with hugs and knuckles from the staff and doctors, even staff that aren’t helping us that day. The office is so accommodating and flexible in their schedules even during the most wanted times of day or time. As a mom, it’s stressful to make sure you are doing everything right and what’s best for your kids even if genetics are against you. In my household we have, what it seems like, 700 million routines just for our daily teeth care and still come in sometimes for appts with care that needs to be done even after best efforts without judgement or worry, a plan in place for future appointments and home routines. EVERY time we are seen, the staff and doctors address the kids with their upmost attention, eye contact and all. They play with the kids and make them feel cared for, safe and happy. They always explain to the child what they are doing and what’s next. They answer all questions that kids ask in a way they can understand no matter the age. If a child is scared or nervous they ALWAYS accommodate the child in an environment that the child feels safe whether that’s in a parents lap or sitting up. When they are working in a child’s mouth they are always making conversation with the kids and parents, once again a feel of we’re all a big happy family. They work fast and efficient with the best care you could receive. When they are showing you something they always show the kiddo as well as the parent. They even make it fun for the kids ever step of the way from picking their new tooth brush from a large selection, sunglasses to wear while they are being worked on, what flavor the kids want to end with a goodie bag and a prize! When my kiddos have had to have work done they are always so kind, fast and efficient. They always do what’s best for the child and family no matter the situation. They work around how my kids were dealing with whatever they were doing. They always have something new for us to try or more suggestions to help with any problem we have had. Everything they do, they plan with the most recent and best knowledge and education out there. They never have just one option to complete any care, they always have multiple options with the child’s best interest in mind, as well as what works for each individual families situation. I guess I really cannot tell you enough on how wonderful of a place this is. We are super blessed to have this care for our kids as they couldn’t get anything better and deserve only the best and that’s what you receive with Mountain Kids!

Our family loves Mountain Kids! Weve been patients for over 5 years and I cant imagine taking my children to another dentist. EVERY person weve worked with in the office, from the receptionists to the assistants and especially Dr. Joe, has been amazing. Theyre patient, accommodating of the unique needs of children, and understanding. From major dental work to routine cleanings, everything has been done exceptionally. My daughters love going to Mountain Kids and its not at all unusual for them to ask Mom, when are we going to the dentist again? :)

Initially and overall I really liked this practice. But then my 10 year old ended up with a cavity and while the hygienist staff thought he was out of ear shot they began to speak poorly of him and even used the word “lazy.” Well...he heard them. This caused me mild frustration but what really became concern was that soon they were talking about the need for a root canal and convinced me to make plans to put my son under general anesthesia due to his “nervousness.” (Which May have been caused due to certain adjectives used to describe him). My mother’s instinct told me to get a second opinion. One year later and three dentist appoints later with a new dentist.... the tooth hasnt even required a filling and my son does not cry about going to the dentist. I know this office has really high ratings and I seldom leave my personal reviews online, but after some time thinking through this and our experience with a new office...I felt the need to speak up. In addition, after the second visit with the new office I called Mountain Kids to give them feedback and I never heard even a courtesy response from them. Would they really have ran the risk of putting my child under anesthesia for nothing? This really scares me.

I absolutely adore this office and all of their dentists! I have 3 boys ages 6-11 and they have done amazing here! In addition, they are very knowledgeable about insurance and handle it correctly and fast! We especially love Dr. Katie and Dr. Guido! They run on time for appointments and help us stay on top of all of our dental needs. You cannot go wrong with this office!

I was nervous for my daughter. I wasnt quite sure how things would go. But when we walked in the door and was welcomed with a wonderful greeting my nervousness went down. The staff at the front was so friendly. When we were taken back the assistant was very good with my daughter. She was calm, patient and understanding even thought my daughter was asking so many questions and being a wiggle worm. The decor of their place was beautiful. The colors made the office feel good and inviting. The dentist was great. He was nice and listened to what I had to say. He was confident and knowledgeable. Every. Single. Person. You see in this office is constantly wearing a smile. You can truly see and FEEL that they love their job and what they do! I have four kids, two needing extensive work which is very nerve wracking as a parent; dr Katie made me and most importantly my kids feel safe. She is the most kind and knowledgeable dentist I have met and I am so thankful we walked in these doors. Dr Joe took time out of his day, on a day he was not even seeing my kids, to talk to me about their procedure and my concerns or questions; again with a smile and comforting words Adorable and comfortable setting, amazing employees! Mountain Kids really goes above and beyond EVERY visit and encounter. I’m not thrilled my kids needed lots of dental work due to their prematurity and poor teeth. However, they made me feel like I’m doing my best and gave me grace and comforted us all. It’s not easy knowing your children have dental issues that cause pain. They helped alleviate fears and restored their teeth.

My son has ASD and has always has had a hard time being comfortable with going to the dentist and having tools put in his mouth due to sensory issues.Being new to Colorado it’s hard to know where to go for good experiences when it comes to dental work but Today we had a great first experience and he was able to do his X-rays comfortably and is wanting to go back for long term treatments.As a parent I would highly recommend Mountain Kids!

Had a wonderful experience taking our 15 month old here for her first visit. Shes started having some stranger danger but everyone was gentle and patient with her. They were encouraging and attentive, answered all our questions and just made it an easy relaxed experience. I actually look forward to building relationships with the staff as we continue to bring our kiddo here. Thats high praise for any dentists office in my book.

Our family (kids ages 7 and 2) has been seeing Dr. Joe at Mountain Kids since we moved to Fort Collins three years ago. They are gentle, thorough, and make exams feel fun and safe. Our oldest would never cooperate at all at the dentist before, but has participated fully since we switched to Mountain Kids. Both kids always leave feeling successful. Additionally, Dr. Joe and all of the staff maintain wonderful rapport with patients and their families. Love the front desk staff and all of the hygienists. My kids have been patients at Mountain Kids for several years now, and always get excellent care. All of the dental assistants are so kind and patient with them, taking the time to explain what theyre going to do before they do it. And each of the dentists weve seen are amazing too--they take the time to listen to your concerns, and do a great job relating to my kids as well. The entire experience was just great. All of the staff are very kind and great with kids. My daughter has a lot of anxiety issues, especially when it comes to going to the dentist, but Dr. Guido was so great with her and did really well in distracting her from her anxiety, and always explained everything very thoroughly to myself and my husband. When she had to have a procedure done on her teeth, he found the best option for her, which was being under anesthesia, and both he and the anesthesiologist (Dr. Kris Smith) explained everything to us, including benefits and potential risks, and their commitment, honesty, and care for our daughter was much appreciated and reassuring. They were equally amazing talking to our daughter about it, and it helped her to be really calm about the whole thing, which amazed us given how hard it can be to reassure her. We cannot thank them enough, and definitely 100% recommend them!

My kids love getting their teeth cleaned at Mountain Kids! They are so patient and gentle with my son and daughter. Awesome kids dentist! My 4 year old daughter has always been afraid of going to the dentist, but here she is a lot more at ease and the staff are all so wonderful and friendly. The last place we went almost forced the children after they turned 2 to go back to get their cleaning alone, I hated that and so did my daughter. Mountain Kids is so much more accommodating! We recently moved to CO and within two weeks of being here, my child needed to see a dentist. I didnt know who to go to! I feel very blessed to have found Mountain Kids! Dr. Joe was excellent. This was my daughters first visit to the dentist and she didnt mind it a bit. It was a relaxing atmosphere and they made my children feel safe and most of all they ENJOYED the dentist. He also took the time to answer all my questions. I would recommend everyone to check it out! I am glad I did!

This whole office is fantastic. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and very kid-centric without being overwhelming. The staff are fantastic with my daughter who is not a big fan of dentists. In fact, thanks to this place she is much more accepting of dental appointments! We came to Mountain Kids because of others recommendations and we found that they were right.

We love Mountain Kids! I had to take my son to another dentists office in town (Bright Now Dental) and they were trying to convince me that I needed to get his teeth extensively treated to protect from cavities. He has never had a cavity, so I denied their claim. Fast forward to dealing with Mountain Kids - they re affirmed my knowledge that my son was perfectly healthy, and that is oral hygiene was on point. Our dental hygienist, Tammy was spectacular, and we just love Dr. Shavonne :) Highly recommend.

I didnt think we would find a pediatric dentist like the one we had back home. Dr. Shivon has exceeded our expectations. The staff is so friendly and Dr. Shivon makes the experience so pleasant. Dr. Joe Guido is great. My son had a cracked molar that he was originally going to repair. However an abscess had formed, and required extraction of the baby molar, and placement of a spacer. Dr Joe and the dental assistant Lindsey were patient and kind and gave my son developmentally appropriate explanations for what they were doing. The desk clerk explained all the charges and ran my card while the work was being done so we could leave right after the procedure. Facility is fun and friendly feeling and very clean. Really good experience over all.

I am so grateful that we found Mountain Kids when we first moved to Fort Collins! We had a great first experience at Mountain Kids Pediatric Dentistry! The entire staff is very kind and helpful. My 2.5-year-old son has a lot of anxiety when it comes to the dentist but the waiting area was so much fun for him that it helped put him at ease. My son didnt like the exam at all and screamed the whole time but Dr. Joe and Tammy were SO patient with him. They were both very thorough and answered all my questions well. And the fact that my son got to pick a toy at the end will make going back the next time much easier! Thank you!

I LOVE this place and Dr. Katie!!!! My four year old son was seen there a year ago and it was the best thing that I ever did. My son had a very bad experience at another dentist office and I never thought I would get him comfortable with another dentist. After visiting Dr. Katie he has improved so much. Tammy went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and was very kind. Dr. Joseph was great with my daughter and accommodated her nervousness and did an amazing job!

We love going to Mountain Kids! I have a 4 yr old and 2 yr old who have seen Dr. Katie and Dr. Joe and they are both excellent with them. The hygienists really know how to work with kids to make getting their teeth cleaned fun. My oldest child had some reservations the first time we went (he was terrified) and they worked with him so well he loves it now. Highly recommended!

Everyone is so great with the kids, catering to each of their specific needs. Our kids always enjoy going there!

This is a wonderful childrens DDS! My daughter looks forward to attending her cleaning appointments and we even play dentist at home. She has nothing to fear and the staff is always friendly and gives lots of encouragement which Audrey loves. Thank you mountain kids!

My 4 year old boys love coming here. They see Dr. Joe and really like both him and his fantastic staff. At their last cleaning, one of my kids remarked, I love coming here! I wish I could come every day to get my teeth cleaned. Pleased mama for sure.

I chose Mountain Kids Pediatric out of an ad. After the first visit I was amazed at the tender care and attention they gave my 3 year old. They were patient and let him be part of the process. They even made a note that he does not like the sound of the polishing tool makes! So, every time he goes in, they know not to ask him if they can use the tool on him or not. Very kind and patience people!

Had a great first dentist experience here! As a family with multiples, we can sometimes be treated like were a hassle but Mountain Kids was the complete opposite. They really treated us like anyone else and treated each of our kiddos individually. It was really a great first visit and everyone from the front office staff to the dentists were friendly and helpful!

After coming highly recommended by some ladies in my MOPS group I took my son Tyler there for his first dentist appointment. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to Tylers special needs. He really loved to be able to watch a movie while they were doing the exam with the headphones. We will definitely be back in 6 months for his next checkup.

Our daughter dreaded going to the dentist before we found Mountain Kids. Now my only regret is that we didn’t change dentists sooner! Dr. Shivaun was fantastic. Attentive & knowledgable, she thoughtfully answered all of our questions & seemed to really enjoy educating us. The hygienist was also patient, friendly & gentle. The quality of care is exceptional. The entire office is welcoming. We would certainly recommend this practice to our friends!

We always have an amazing experience at Mountain Kids. The staff is friendly and works well with children. Dr. Katie is amazing with the kids. One of my children had to have some minor dental work done under mild sedation. Dr. Katie took the time to makes sure I felt comfortable with the procedure and answered all my questions. I really appreciated not feeling rushed and that my concerns were understood. We will be going to Mountain Kids for a long time.

I love this place my kids are always excited to go to see the dentist from where we started.... I may have to drive up from Greeley but it is well worth the trip every time. An they do not treat you kids like cattail

I remember being so nervous about going to the dentist when I was a kid and I was kind of terrified to bring my son to his first dental appointment. The staff at Mountain Kids know what they are doing and made a potentially scary event super fun! The hygienist and dentist explained everything before doing it and let my son touch all the tools so he knew what was coming. The atmosphere is kid friendly, bright and fun and they even have a kids size toilet in the bathroom. My son told me today that the dentist is his friend! So happy his experience is more positive than mine was. I would recommend this place to anyone with small children.

I have took my boy to Mountain Kids for only a couple of years. My son was incredibly fearful of dentist and going to the dentist was terrible for him. Once we found Mountain kids that all changed! They took their time with him and gave him time to warm up. I’m truly grateful for there kindness and respectfulness.

We just recently switched to Mountain Kids Dentistry and absolutely love it! My son is almost 8 years old and a little anxious about the dentist. I love that I was able to go back with him and that they took the time to really explain everything to both of us so that we felt more comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend Mountain Kids to anyone and everyone!!

Great experience! Our daughter had to have some extensive dental work done which was a little overwhelming at first. We brought her to mountain kids after having a poor experience at another dentist. The office staff at Mountain Kids is friendly and professional. Dr. Katie took the time to really explain what needed to be done and what options we had and Dr. Joe did a great job on the procedure, not doing any more than what was necessary. Roberta, the office manager was upfront about cost and presented it in a manner that was easy to understand and compare. And we very much appreciate that this office does not use amalgam fillings on children! Overall, we were very pleased with the whole experience with Mountain Kids!

This is a great dentistry office for kids. The staff are all very friendly and the dentists are great with kids and great at explaining the proceedures before they perform them. I bring both of my daughters here and we have had great experiences. We have had a couple small issues with billing the correct insurance provider but overall we feel very good about bringing our kids here.
