I have been here twice and have been very pleased with this dental practice. The office is new and clean, they see you on time, and the dentist and staff are pleasant and professional. I have had urgent dental issues twice in the past year and both times the staff was able to get me an appointment within 24 hours. The dentist was able to address the issue quickly and I appreciated that the dentist took the time to explain all procedures and recommendations during the visit. I am very grateful for this dental practice and will recommend it to friends and family.

Jaden was extremely kind, gentle, and comforting. She explained everything she was doing Im going to do. She she showed me the pictures and x-rays of my teeth and explained what I was looking at. It was nice to get to know my teeth.Dr. Carter was thorough and light-hearted and positive. He gave me his suggestions. And gave me options. He has amazing energy that evokes trust.

I experienced a slight delay due to a lot of people taking emergency care earlier yet I enjoyed the good-looking waiting area. They provide drinks, decent amount of comfortable seats, and TV if you arent a fan of staring at smartphones. The employees are all nice and the dentist is pretty straightforward.I will definitely come here again if I will have oral care or check-up.

I became a customer at College Ave Modern Dental because of a coupon I received in the mail from Valpak. I am a Fort Collins local and thought I would give CAMD a try. I scheduled an appointment and upon my arrival, the receptionist told me they didnt have me on the schedule and I would have to be rescheduled for the following week. I even have a confirmation email displaying the time/date I originally scheduled. The second visit was great, as I got my teeth cleaned with great service. After the bill came in the mail, I noticed I was billed twice the amount as what the coupon I gave to them had indicated. I am not happy with the organization of the receptionist that helped me through this process.

I had been here back in 2017/18 and hadnt been back to a dentist since because I hate going. But this place changed that for me a few yrs back, and when I had tooth pain I knew where to go! Jenny at the front desk and jess the hygienist are the two biggest reasons I came back and will again be going back. They definitely try to make you feel more comfortable while your there and jess does everything she can to try and make you feel less nervous. There is a new Dr. since I was last there, but he is amazing!! Dr. Carter is very gentle and is really great at what he does. If your looking for a new dentist I Highly recommend these guys!

Folks here are super nice, the facility/equipment is modern and clean and overall I enjoy getting dental treatment here. The reason for not 5 stars is simply that theyre only only 4 days a week, currently not open Mondays, no weekend hours, and occasionally it can be hard to get through to them on the phone, their phone system seems confusing.... sure that will improve.

My hygienist was Jessica and to say she is amazing would be an understatement. I have autoimmune issues that affect my teeth and gums and was in significant pain when I arrived. She was patient, had the perfect amount of conversation to keep me distracted, and neither her nor Dr. Wolf made me feel ashamed about the dental issues I was experiencing. Her and Dr. Wolf advised me on typical and holistic options for care and I couldnt recommend this office more! Everyone was awesome and even the receptionist was kind and helpful!For someone who avoids the dentist like the plague I will say Im kinda excited about going back!

In the past, I have always had negative feelings towards going to the dentist. I just thought it was an overall unpleasant experience. Most thorough dental experience I have ever had. I participated in their new patient deal and was impressed by their patience, how they walked through their process with me, talked to me throughout the exam, explained any areas of note and answered all of my questions in a way where I could understand. I had an issue with the online scheduling, and it did not go through. The staff worked together to squeeze me in for most of what I’d scheduled. I really appreciated the friendly and accommodating environment, and they were so apologetic about the issue. They also worked hard to make sure I am comfortable, which was so nice even though I don’t usually associate “comfort” with the dentist at all! I’d not been to the dentist in a hot minute, and I was prepared for some shaming. They were nurturing and understanding instead. 10 outta 10 will do again. Thanks, everyone!

The office itself was bright and clean. Desk staff was warm and welcoming without being invasive. They were respectful, attentive and Alicias preparatory work was considerate of my comfort level. The dentist, Dr. Johnsons gentle but steady hand as he extracted my broken wisdom tooth compelled me to tell him how much I appreciated his demeanor and skill. This was indeed my best visit at any dentist and his expertise is what any one delaying a visit to the dentist would be thankful for. Mine was an emergency and I think I have found my dentist. The procedure was clearly and carefully explained and I was in charge of how I needed to proceed if, how and when I needed any other work done. No pressure! He was genuinely interested in my concerns and explained all the options available to me. Billing was reasonable and the technology was quite modern! I would highly recommend giving College Ave Modern Dental a try if you are looking for competence, expertise, a carefully chosen support staff. This is not a conglomerate of dentists. This is rather one dentist whose primary interest is you.

I went to Dr Johnson to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had heard horror stories about it and was extremely nervous, but he did such an amazing job. I was completely numb and only felt a slight bitter pressure when he took them out. I followed his aftercare instructions and kind of took on a few of my own like drinking berry and peanut butter shakes (without a straw), took my prescribed pain medication(twice that day) and put ice on my face before the numbing wore off. As I am writing this, its only the day after and I have MAYBE 1 out of 10 pain and no need for pain meds. LOVE this Dentist!

Modern is one word that distinguishes this clinic from the rest. State of the art equipment means the staff can do a million times better job than an ill equipped dentist trying to lure you in with a pathetic tooth whitening system. Unlike most local dentists, they have digital scanners which project large images that clearly identifies the areas of concern. They actually have dental hygienists also equipped with hydrolic instruments to get the best possible clean. Since you get an actual hygienist, they can clean under the gums instead of pretending to provide you with a real service. Ive tried 3 other local offices where theres no hygienist and a depressed dentist does a few minutes of resentful scrapping and calls it good after ten minutes, at College Ave you will actually get your teeth cleaned which prevents future problems which is a huge big deal.

Some might say a difficult thing is like pulling teeth. But this place makes that whole meter change. My experience involved a blanket for warmth, sunglasses for cool, and my own playlist in my earbuds. Dr. Johnson danced out my tooth to Erik Satie Gymnopèdie No. 1 and I was honestly laughing. Would recommend to anyone needing help without insurance too!

I would not recommend going here. I was invalidated of my suspicions of having TMJ, which I was diagnosed with a month later at a different dentist. I also received two fillings at this dentist and was told by the dentist I visited a month later that there was breakage in the fillings, and they had to drill it all out and replace it, because parts of my teeth were exposed. I did not have a good experience here and would not recommend anyone else to go here.

I went in for a crown on my front tooth the employee didn’t match my front tooth to my other front tooth... the color is completely off . you can see it in photos it looks awful ..then I went back to see if they would fix it and the dentist refused too...poor customer service now I am stuck with a mismatching tooth all because I trusted the employee to match my tooth color... do yourself a favor and find a different dental office

Great dentist and overall good experiences. Disappointed that the staff is not wearing masks the entire time to prevent spread of covid. Front desk scheduler was wearing the mask on her chin. Hygienists were not wearing masks until they started cleaning my teeth. Would not recommend at risk individuals going here.

From start to finish, this dental office was wonderful! The front desk staff were super friendly and a pleasure to work with. The hygienist was exceptional; she really took her time to thoroughly clean my teeth while explaining exactly what she was seeing and doing. To wrap up the appointment, the dentist definitely knew what he was doing and took the time to answer all my questions without judgement or any feelings of trying convince me to do more work. They also show you all your X-rays in detail as well as take before and after photos so you really get a sense of their great work. My husband and I will definitely be back!

This was my first visit at College Avenue Modern Dentistry. The atmosphere at the office was very relaxing and welcoming. Everybody from the receptionist greeting you when you walk in the door, to the hygienist were very friendly and professional. The Dr that examined me was very thorough and explained everything very well so that I understood exactly was was going on and what steps needed to be taken to fix the few problems I have. Everyone that works here is awesome and theyre good at what they do. I came in a few months ago for a cleaning and had a bunch of cavities. Dr. Wilkin filled them all over the course of 3 appointments. He did a great job. I hate dental work and they made it a breeze. He has gentle hands and they work quickly and efficiently. They also have been very transparent about pricing and have always done what they can to keep costs down. I have been in a few times, but each time I come in they greet me like an old friend and remember who I am. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had a very bad experience at College Ave Modern Dental. I’m new to the area, didnt have dental insurance (at the time) and was lured in by the new patient special. When I arrived to the clinic, I was greeted by the dental hygienist. She asked me to complete some paperwork; after a brief wait, she escorted me back to the dental chair. The space itself is very nice, equipped with TVs and blankets. However, I was very disappointed with the cleaning and exam. The dental hygienist took pictures and x-rays of my teeth, and informed me that I had several cavities and noticeable wear from grinding. I was shocked, as I go in for cleanings every 6 months and haven’t had any cavities within the last few years. When the dentist came in, he looked at my teeth for ~1 minute and confirmed I had a total of FIVE cavities. I was horrified. After my appointment, the hygienist emailed me my treatment plan. In sum, the work they were recommending (filling 5 cavities + 1 occlusal guard for grinding) would cost $1878 without insurance. Distraught, I called my previous two dentists. My previous dentist from Boulder, CO informed me that the x-rays he took in June 2019 (6 months ago) indicated that I had 0 cavities. My previous dentist from my hometown owns his own practice, and he told me he would squeeze me in over Thanksgiving break for a consultation. During that consultation, he looked at the X-Rays and pictures Modern Dental took. He was alarmed that they had told me I had 5 cavities, as he could only see 1. After doing a thorough exam, he confirmed that I only had 1 cavity and 1 tooth that needed a sealant. He informed me that corporate dental chains often have quotas they need to meet. He advised that I follow up w/ a different dentist in the area that owns their own practice to fill the cavity.TLDR: College Ave Modern Dental diagnosed me with 5 cavities and informed me I needed to spend ~ $2000 for treatment (~ $1300 on cavities). After consulting w/ two other dentists, I was (thankfully!) diagnosed with 1 cavity and informed I have 1 tooth that could use a sealant. Thank goodness for second opinions.

The staff here is the most friendly happiest staff I have ever experienced and they make you feel so comfortable, I will never go anywhere else and highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Had Jessica for my cleaning and exam today. She is great, and has plenty of naturopathic advice about dental health. It was refreshing. I liked the Doc also. Working with dentists can sometimes be like working with mechanics if you know what I mean. But he took an honest and realistic approach to what I needed and what I didnt need. Ill be coming back!
