Dr. Kollar, Kary and Collette are amazing! I am so glad I found them three years ago. They are kind, knowledgeable and always go above and beyond. They somehow make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend them!

I had a root canal on my first visit and it went exceptionally well. The procedure was explained to me step by step and my comfort level was exactly where I needed. I highly recommend stopping by the office. Kary is extremely professional and was able to be flexible with scheduling my appointment. I absolutely plan on continuing my future cosmetic dentistry with 5 Star Dental.

Dr Mark is by far the best dentist out there. He is very thorough and meticulous in hiswork. He isn’t satisfied with anything less than perfection. His staff is amazing! I have had 2 emergent situations and they got them handled immediately. One was on Valentine’s Day, a weekend at 6pm. Dr. Mark and Kary immediately returned my call, came to the office and did a 2 hour procedure. I don’t know anyone else who would give that kind of service and care for their patients. And everyone is so friendly! I love my visits to their office, and that’s the first time in my life I can say that about the dentist. 5 Star Dental lives up to its name!

Dr. Kollar is truly the best of the best and I cant believe I lived in the area for so long before finding his office. I went in to have previous dental work corrected. He found that fillings Id had done elsewhere hadnt bonded to my teeth and were causing further decay to my teeth. He also identified a root canal --a problem waiting to happen-- and took care of it for me with the utmost care and consideration. I went in for numerous appointments and had very little discomfort. He is nowhere near your average dentist and clearly has a passion for what he does and a desire to deliver the best care possible. He is very on top of all of the latest research. Dr. Kollar will make recommendations for prevention and mouth health but he will never patronize you for your flossing habits. :) Also, he has the best hygienist and office manager in the whole world. :) --Sarah

Dr. Mark Kollar is by far the best dentist that I have ever seen. I had 4 different crowns done by him in the 90s. This time it was for a root canal. Kary his assistant is phenomenal and the Hygienist Colette was fantastic and very acomodating as well. Im definitely a grateful client for his expertise and attention to detail. I really like this dental office. The staff is super friendly and informative. I felt very welcome there. Dr. Mark is very good. He made me relax and I usually get uptight at the dentist. They cleaned my teeth and they have never looked better. I have a loose tooth from a fall and the plan that Mark has set up is going to make that tooth strong and healthy. I feel very confident in this dentist. I used a coupon for my first appointment and got way more than my monies worth. They even gave me two red roses when I left and copies of my X-rays and a treatment plan. So glad I found them.

Dr. Mark is kind and takes the time to explain what he is doing or planning to do. It is clear that he is extremely experienced and confident in his skill set. I am having a crown replaced and he is saving me from going to a gum specialist (and spending extra) by using the replacement crown as a stint while my gums heal. Kerry is also very sweet. And I walk away with a little treat each visit - roses and a peach so far! A great, family friendly practice.

Small office with extremely kind, caring, and mission-driven people. Ive hated the dentist for years. That being said, I was absolutely blown away by my experience at Five Star Dental. Staff, incredible. Doctor, friendly and informative. I think Ive found my new regular dentist. Its weird to say that Im excited to come back and see how much progress Ive made. They even made my fiance and newborn feel welcome and comfortable in the waiting room! I only wish I could give them 6 stars.

Five stars fully deserved. The office is spotless, the assistants are amazingly knowledgeable and friendly, and Dr. Kollar is the only dentist Ive felt comfortable seeing. My visit to their practice was the first time ever actually having fun at the dentist, and my teeth look and feel very well-cleaned and healthy thanks to their care. I recommend them to all family and friends. This is a one-in-a-million dental office.

I had another visit at this office this past week, and it was great how they customized my service. I really get the impression that they are more interested in giving me quality service than getting my money. As far as my experiences have gone, I have not come across a more personal touch to my dental service. I have really good teeth and need very little care, so it is nice to not have more work done than is necessary. I think this place is worth a visit if you are in search of a new dentist.

Walking in the staff was immediately friendly and welcoming, after the initial paperwork I was quickly escorted to see the doctor who was quick and efficient in diagnosing the situation ( I had lost a filling), after going over several options and answering my questions, he got to work and his experience quickly became apparent. I have had bad teeth my whole life and so have spent quite a bit of time in the chair and I have to say, start to finish this was one of the best visits I have ever had. The doctor was patient and thorough, the staff very professional and I left knowing I had been very well cared for. Cannot recommend enough!

Excellent service! This will definitely be my regular dentist office from now on. I initially called the old town location, but they werent able to get me in for weeks and then I found out they were out of network for my insurance. This south office WAS in network and they were able to get me in much sooner. The assistant was very friendly, the process was very easy, and the dentist was the most accommodating, informative, and personable dentist Ive ever had. My tooth cleaning was very quick, painless, and as comfortable as a tooth cleaning can be. There was a TV mounted on the ceiling, too, which was nice. 5 stars!

I highly recommend Five Star Dental in Fort Collins! I was able to schedule my visit via email. They sent me the paperwork so I could fill it out at home and bring in with me. At the time of my visit, the office was spotless and nicely decorated. Staff greeted me immediately upon arrival. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. The dentist took a lot of time to explain everything to me. If I was rich and received VIP treatment, this is what I think it would feel like. This visit was one of the best dental appointments Ive had before. I had a great transition to Foothills Family Dental from my previous dentist in another state, whom I had seen since I was 5 (so there was definitely some loyalty there)! Dr. Kevin Pass was kind, knowledgeable, and thorough, and his hygienist was wonderful as well. I especially appreciated that Dr. Pass explained things to me. The office was clean and inviting, scheduling was easy, and I got in on time. The only thing missing was the travel size toothpaste, floss, and a toothbrush after my cleaning that I got back home ;)

Hands down one of them best dental experiences I’ve ever had. We were greeted with warmth and professionalism by every single staff member when we walked in. The cleaning was excellent, thorough, and it is evident they don’t cut any corners. Dr. Kollar explained everything he was doing, including the reasons he chose the techniques he did. He gave an full, detailed, and honest assessment of my dental health, as well as recommendations of different options for dental follow up. The whole staff took the time to connect, they were timely but not rushed, and truly a five star team.

I made an appointment for a routine check up and to inquire about some dental work I needed in the future. Upon arrival I was checked in and brought back to a room in a timely fashion. Dr. Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering some questions regarding my dental issues. I was very impressed by his ability to asses my dental needs on the first visit! Dr. Pass and his dental hygienist exceeded all dental experiences I’ve had. From my first visit, when my x-rays were shared and explained in detail, I could tell I was in good hands by the way Dr. Pass expressed what is happening to my teeth, specifically, why my 30+ year-old silver fillings were needing repair. Upon my second visit, when these fillings were removed, every step of the way was explained. The two of them worked efficiently and without hesitation. It was the fastest visit I’ve ever had! Their music and choice of the television shows were great and very comforting. I left with instruction and was followed-up that evening with a personal call from the doctor and the next morning from the hygienist. Thank you both for being here for my dental needs!

I have had terrible dental experiences in the past. I was scared off from dentists and hadnt seen one in over 10 years. It was quick to get an appointment.When I visited, it was quite a pleasant change. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was evident that they cared about my health. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I was given a complete treatment plan with no non-sense. For instance, I was told I dont need my wisdom teeth out unless they become a problem, which they arent right now. Something that most dentists require. They explained what was important to get done and what would be good long term. I wasnt babied and nagged about flossing or anything of the sort.I had a deep cleaning, which required extensive work. They ensured I was comfortable and felt that I was in control of the situation. I felt virtually nothing during the procedure. There was very little pain. They called me after the next day to ensure I was feeling alright and there were no problems. These people really do care about their patients.I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I moved to Fort Collins for work and needed a new dentist. I took a chance on Dr. Kevin and I am so glad I did! He is super nice and understanding. He tells you what youre doing well and what needs improvement. Takes picture to show you of areas of concern. When he took care of a cavity I had, he took pictures of the before, after drilling out, and with filling so I could see. Good, high quality pictures! He isnt one of my insurers preferred providers but I will gladly pay the slight difference to go to him. Seriously, if you on the fence, just go to him. You wont regret it!

Hands down the best dentistry practice in Northern Colorado! All of my expierences here have been superb. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, and always go above and beyond to make sure your expierence is pleasant. Dr. Kollar saw that I had a cavity, but rather than simply pointing it out and moving past it, he took the time to perform an additional X-ray and explained everything that had happened to me. He also gave practical steps for ways I could improve my health and I couldnt tell he had my best interests and my health in mind. The customer service was incredible and the rest of the staff was warm and accommodating. I typically dislike dentist visits, but my experience at Five Star was 5-Stars!

As a military family, constantly moving, Ive had to see a different dentist every 2 years. With that said, I can honestly say that my recent visit with Dr. Kevin Pass has been one of my best dental experiences. Ive had a couple crowns done by other dentists and they were all a bit unpleasant. However, this time around the procedure turned out to be quick and painless. Dr. Pass has a very warm and friendly demeanor, he listens to your concerns, and is great at explaining exactly what hes doing to your teeth throughout the whole process. Krisha has been great to work with over the phone and she prepared one of the best fitting temporaries Ive ever had. Highly recommend this office.

I was nervous about going to the dentist after 3.5 years of taking care of my babies and putting my needs on the back burner. From the first phone call with the receptionist to make my appointment to the very end the staff never made me feel bad about it! They encouraged me with the Im proud of yous I really needed to hear and made me feel so comfortable any nerves I had went away. They developed a customized plan moving forward for my cleanings and exams based on my needs which I love! They recognized I could wait a couple extra months for my next cleaning than the typical 6 months Im used to hearing, which will be totally doable for me to accomplish. The hygentist was so sweet and informative. They have lots of extras to make you feel comfortable such as an essential oil diffuser, pillow, headphones and tv, hot towel...I started to feel like I was at the spa! Dr. Mark Kollar was thorough, easy going and used some new tech I had never seen before! I highly recommend!

Super friendly, but straight! He told me didnt shove any fixes for me and showed me the areas he was concerned about. They are super technological, which I LOVED - TV above me so I could see it, taking actual pictures of my teeth to show me problem areas, a computer right next to us so he could point out things on the xrays.This is definitely my new family dentist!

Its been a long time since Ive been to the dentist and I finally decided to face my fear. I havent had much luck with dentists in the past and have always dreaded going. I did a lot of research and decided to go to the Foothills Family Dental South location with Dr. Kevin Pass. I couldnt be happier with my decision!! He was super friendly, knowledgeable and truly cared about me. Ive never felt more comfortable and at ease with a dentist and I can genuinely say that he made me feel this way. He took pictures of my teeth and showed me his concerns while prioritizing the importance of what needed attention first. He was very thorough and made sure I understood what he was doing each step of the way. One thing he said to me while he was working on my temporary crown that made me smile was, were still friends right?. Im so glad with my decision and have found my new dentist!
