Never did I think I would write a review for a dental office, but these people created an experience for me I couldn’t be more grateful for. After being turned away as a new patient by many doctors due to COVID backlogs, in a time of severe pain for me, Murphy dental went absolutely above and beyond every step of the way to make sure I was taken care of. They let you watch movies/listen to music, which was great for my nerves. They were incredibly clean and friendly. I do want to give special thanks to Amy, she made a really concerning and scary experience for me (on many levels) so warm, welcoming, and flexible. She has been an absolute angel from heaven throughout my entire experience, from start to end. She has made me feel like I can go to the dentist without all of the anxiety attached. The whole staff has always been great, but I especially love how they are always willing to work with you. Several times over the years they have fit me in in super short notice for dental “emergencies” and always did great work. When I didn’t have insurance, they worked with me on the bill. They also have a great “Murphy Plan” that helps with the cost of dental visits, if u don’t have insurance. I even referred a friend, who wasn’t happy with his current dentist, and he was very impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone was and the quality of work he got.

Had my new patient exam and cleaning today. Kelsey was amazing! She took the time to explain what I can do to improve my home care while still making the visit fun. Dr. Murphy went over each of the problems that I had mentioned to Kelsey, such awesome communication between staff and patient. Love the vibe at this office, from the front desk to the Hygienists, assistants, and Dr. Murphy!

My experience with Murphy Dental has given me new life. My lower dentures didnt fit properly and so I went to Dr Murphy and he suggested putting in four dental implants that would secure the denture to my lower jaw. I said go for it and in three hours time I was back to eating normally and had a smile on my face. I certainly recommend Murphy Dental. He and his wonderful staff made me feel at ease and took good care of me.Great job 👏 guys 👍👍👍.

Terrible. My fillings fell out after 3 months, while I was in transit to another country for an extended period. They said that the would give me a credit when I got back, but they wont honor that promise even though I have it in writing. When I submitted a BBB complaint, they blatantly lied about what they had said (despite the fact that I have it in writing). In addition, they are charging $15/visit for extra PPE for COVID. They have always worn gloves, masks, face shields and gowns, so it seems to me that maybe they didnt used to change them between patients (or why would they need to charge more due to COVID?).

Despite years of being terrified of dentists, I now go to my cleanings, etc. without making up an excuse and cancelling! That’s huge for me. I’m comfortable and everyone is kind and professional, even during these more difficult times.

Ive been going here for 12 years and have always been really satisfied with my tooth care here. Very nice and knowledgeable staff and dentist. Also they let me change my appointments last minute for no charge (if at least 24 hour notice) which I do pretty much everytime.

I am so incredibly happy with the service provided at this office. I originally went there strictly because I had a dental emergency and they were the ONLY office in Fort Collins that was open and could fit me in. However, I know that he saw me well after his normal business hours - which I really appreciated! He went over all of my options thoroughly with me and got me back to normal in no time! Him and his staff were so professional and a lot of fun. This was to be a one time visit for me, but from now on my family and me will be seeing him because of the great service and great experience I had there. If you are looking for a dentist, this is definitely the place to go.

I’ve been going to Murphy Dental for over 3 years. Dr. Murphy has always been positive and professional. Today I appreciated that he and his staff had plenty of time to talk with me and respected my time by getting me in and out as fast as they could without making me feel rushed.

I was referred to Murphey dental about 10 years ago. I have anxiety and dislike going to the dentist, too many bad experiences! This place has definitely made me feel more at ease. My hygienist Steph is amazing, she always make me feel comfortable and is always sure Im getting the best care.

Although Ive had to leave Murphy Dental because Ive moved to another city - I think the experience I had with my NEW dentist says a lot. After taking new patient xrays and digging in, he immediately told me that I had an INCREDIBLE dentist before (Dr. Murphy) because all the work done in my mouth by him was spot on and of great quality. He had no idea who I had been to before, so this was a major compliment to Dr. Murphy.On top of being excellent at what he does, Dr. Murphy is a genuinely great guy who hires fantastic support staff. Ive always had good experiences (even though getting dental work done by itself is not). Theyve got the latest technology, are not pushy or sales-driven, and sincerely care about your well-being.I would recommend anyone to Dr. Murphy and his team.

Ive used Murphy Dental for several years. This is a great practice. I continue with them because:1. They offer great care, and are proactive in solving issues. In my last visit he discovered how my bite was loosening a tooth. With a small amount of adjustment he was able to prevent a big issue later.2. Great professional dental hygienists. I left another practice where they had a office person without training cleaning teeth.3. An annual plan for exams, cleanings, x-rays that fits those of us without insurance.4. The whole staff is extremely professional and friendly. No one (except Steve Martin) likes to visit the dentist. They make this as good as it can be.5. Dr. Murphy invests in the latest technology. This means you get the best outcomes and less pain.

The experience at the actual office was great. After I received my fillings the dentist said that my teeth may be tender for a little while. After a few days the pain did not go away. Ever since my appointment my teeth have been in pain and I will not be going back.

Im the biggest baby on the planet and Dread the dentist. This place not only has alternatives to needles but also offers non IV sedation for only $200! Most importantly the whole team is awesome😃 I of all people now cannot wait to go back to the dentist. Thanks Murphy dental 🙏

Kelsey did an excellent job cleaning my teeth today. Particularly tough on her since COVID-19 restrictions mandate that it had to be fully manual.

There are a couple things I like about Murphy Dental, so those first. His staff is great, all of them are super friendly and helpful. He also has modern technology and makes thing comfortable such as watching DVDs in comfy chairs while you get your work done.The things I didnt like... basically Dr. Murphy. On my first visit waiting in the waiting room he walked in and didnt say anything to any of his clients waiting. The first thing he said to me was Ill be with you in 5 mins as he walked by me while I was waiting in the chair for my checkup (after x-rays etc.). Almost an hour later he finally comes back. Even though I was in his office for two hours I felt the checkup was rushed since most of that time was waiting.While getting my cavities filled I was watching a DVD (this was nice to be able to focus on that) while he and his assistant worked on the first cavity. The next thing I know is he just gets up and leaves. His assistant, whom I know nothing about (does she have training? experience? what is her role here?) does my second filling. It was incredibly uncomfortable for me to suddenly have someone with unknown skills or experience working on my teeth. Without my knowledge or permission. Over a month later both my fillings still hurt when I floss.The other irritating experience was trying to schedule my cleaning. I was grateful when they offered to call me if an opening became available since I was in a hurry. I was happy and surprised when I got a call saying an appointment was available for me and they would hold it for me till the end of the day. I was frustrated when I called back two hours later to learn that they in fact did not hold it and there were not available appointments. (I was surprised that they would hold it, but once they said they would they should have, or at least called me back to say never mind.)Also, besides the very fist time I called, every single call has gone to voicemail. This in itself wouldnt bother me, but on top of everything else it is frustrating.

The whole staff at Murphy Dental is amazing, especially Dr. Murphy. We have been going to him for several years and weve always felt taken care of. Nice office and nice people.

I had a pleasant visit! From the time I checked into the time I left. The cleaning of my teeth went smoothly! I learned a lot about the proper way to brush, and floss. Im told everytime I go but for some reason I paid more attention to what I was doing wrong this time. She was very knowledgable, and friendly. My visit was a good one. Im actually looking forward to my next visit to see if I absorbed any of what I learned. My cleaner rates a 10. When Dr. Murphy checked my teeth, and said okay I knew that I came to the right place. Negligence on leveling out one of my fillings caused my nerve ending to start painfully dying and I had to get a root canal to fix it.

I love the team at Murphy Dental! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the facility is very clean.

Ive just had a couple of visits with Dr. Murphy, but so far I can say that Im thrilled to have found him, for two primary reasons.First, and most importantly, his work: I had a root canal, followed by a crown a couple of weeks later. The root canal went well; x-rays showed it was done very cleanly - and I had zero pain afterward. I preventatively took a couple of Advil as soon as I got home, and that was it. Ive had root canals before, and this is the first time I remember having that kind of result.On my next visit, prep work was done, followed by in-office creation of my permanent crown, using cool 3D scanning technology. As far as I can tell so far, this was an excellent result. That entire appointment took around 3 hours - including about an hour to build the crown itself, while I had time to read and drink a coffee.Second, the environment: Dr. Murphy clearly knows that most people dont like visiting the dentist, and hes gone to great lengths to design a comfortable atmosphere. It doesnt feel like a factory... Its a modern-looking office that is warm and inviting.Hes hired super-friendly and helpful staff; theres a Keurig in the waiting room, and optional movie entertainment of your choice while work is being done. Even the windows in the main patient area are perfectly positioned in front of exam chairs, giving peaceful views of the foothills. And theres a private room for more extensive work (like the root canals).So the whole place really resonates with a sense of calm, and Dr. Murphy is very eager to provide good results and take anxiety out of the equation. This atmosphere is led first and foremost by his own easy going and genuinely friendly manner.Overall, this is a great dental experience and I would highly recommend Murphy Dental to anyone.
