I ended up with a longer wait than usual for an appointment. I was a little visibly frustrated and the receptionist was kind enough to offer me a subway gift card for my excessive wait. Not only that, but when I was called back I wasn’t the nicest to the dental assistant after waiting. She was very apologetic and went out of her way to make sure I was well attended for. Then come in Dr. Buxton. Not only does he extend a bigger apology than most would receive, he gets right to work and does an excellent job ( he is not satisfied until you are)

I am 68 years old and Dr. Buxton is the best dentist I have ever had. He exemplifies what a great, caring Dr. should be. He is thorough and has a wonderful personality. His staff is fantastic and super friendly. I love everyone there. Here is a sentence you probably never read... I love going to the dentist. :)

Dr. Buxton and all the dental assistants/hygienists are great! I have been coming here for years and do not dread the dentist because it is always a pleasant experience. The assistants/hygienists are thorough and quick with cleanings and Dr. Buxton always asks and listens to any concerns. Would highly recommend!

I was lied to about the price and service I would be getting twice. They canceled, and rescheduled my appointment. In the end I ended up getting what I wanted, which was a basic cleaning. It did cost $150 instead of the $135 i was originally quoted. They kept trying to upsell the deep cleaning for $1200. Dr. Buxton was nice, I just didnt appreciate how I was treated by his staff.

Lindsay the dental hygienist is the most caring and wonderful dental professional I have ever had the pleasure of being in the care of. She is thorough yet delicate and always calms my anxiety.Dr. Buxton is very professional and is always willing to lighten the mood with a joke. Dr Buxton and staff are really that good. They all get the work done right and with care. In a pinch they have been able to squeeze me in for an appointment when they were very busy.

Love this dental office! The friendly staff made our family feel right at home. My boys were both nervous to go but loved Dr Buxton and their hygienist Laramie. Their family plan is very affordable and they dont push you into unnecessary procedures like many other dentists. We are very happy to have found this place!

After going through some absolutely horrible and painful dental work when I was younger, I was so terrified to go back, any time I would try it would induce massive panic attacks and anxiety. Buxton was my last chance. The way he, and his staff, go about everything is so different, theyre all so gentle and kind, something I have never seen with any of my past dentists. They go above and beyond with their compassion and friendliness. I can not express my endless gratitude towards this place for everything theyve done for me thus far, and will continue to do for me in the future. My husband and I went to Buxton dental as a second opinion after our first dentist quoted us over 5000 dollars of dental work. Buxton office was more practical and affordable. They have friendly staff and they make you feel at ease with the work they do! I am terrified of needles and I have to say that my dental work I had done here was some of the best and most painless Ive ever had. This is the first dentist office that I havent dreaded coming to! I went to Buxton Family Dental to get a second opinion on a root canal recommended by a different dentist. Not only was the customer service excellent, I also felt as though I was involved in my appointment in a courteous and informative way. The x-rays taken of my tooth were displayed clearly on a screen for me to see and Dr. Buxton walked me through what he saw. He then did several simple tests to see if my tooth was healthy that the other dentist didnt do ( a cold test, air test, tapping). He determined that the tooth was alive and healthy and that I didnt need a root canal, just a filling. Not only did I save $800 or more by coming here, I actually enjoyed the visit. Clean, professional and friendly!

It was no accident that I found Buxton Family Dental. Called or visited 18 dental offices in Fort Collins and Loveland, I finally made it to Buxton Family Dental. With eight more dentists on my list (sure didnt know there were so many), I was hoping to complete my search for a reliable dentist whom I could trust to do quality work and provide more than mediocre dentistry. I had all my questions answered and received full disclosure on costs, as well as multiple options. All the staff at Buxton Family Dental are skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate and efficient. I was never left sitting in the exam chair, ignored while the dentist worked on other patients. The staff was respectful of my time as well. Though other patients were there, Dr. Buxton and his assistant stayed focused on me - my time seemed to be worth something, which is unusual in my experience. They made every part of the work perfect, as they held work from their labs to the highest standard. If it didnt meet Dr. Buxtons high level of excellence, he sent the lab work back until it was perfect. What a team! Buxton Family Dental is not your typical “sit down, open your mouth, open your wallet and give me your money” dental office. I couldnt be more satisfied, and I hear the same from others whom I have recommended Buxton Family Dental.

The first time I went to see Dr. Buxton, I went with my 4 year old son. Honestly, I was worried about how he would do sitting there and following directions. He was not one to sit still at that age! He did great! There were TVs on the ceiling with a wide variety of show options, a prize bag after the visit, and most importantly friendly staff to help him feel comfortable. They did a fantastic job with my wife and I too. I feel Dr. Buxton is the type who genuinely cares about doing a quality job. After my lifelong dentist retired, I visited Dr. Buxton because he came highly recommended from my girlfriend. Upon my first visit, he immediately discovered a cavity that had been unnoticed for many years and took care of it within a few weeks. I also recently had Kendall remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth, which was apparently a bit tricky due to some impacted molars. I could not be happier with the result - their team did a fantastic job and it cost me 1/2 of what it would have been if I had seen a specialist. Amy, the receptionist, is extremely helpful and super friendly; she put in a ton of legwork before for my procedure and even followed-up with me post-op to see how I was feeling. Buxtons office takes a personal approach to their work and I feel like I am part of their family after only a few months. I have already recommended Kendall to my family and plan on being a lifetime client.
