Mr. Lee is one one of the greatest barbers Ive ever met. I was pretty late and he still managed to fit me in and the results were better then I could have expected.. 10/5 stars!!

Mr lee makes your real comfortable and feel relaxed. Great shop. Best cuts in Colorado. Im from California so I have a high standard on a fresh cut and this shop more than met all my needs. Ill becoming back weekly.

Phone me was answered with “hello” not hello Mr. Lee’s Barber Shop. Asked if I can walk in or do I need an appointment. Was told to go online and book not yes sir let me schedule you now and we also do take walk ins but you my have to wait. I then hung up, I too have a company and the total and utter disrespect of the client is so out of line. The ignorant person I chose not to engage any further with called me back and wanted to start a fight with me. That does not work kiddo. The owner attempted to threaten me over the phone, because say attempted because this ignorant excuse for life has no clue who I am. Well sport have a good one

Pretty much the best mens haircut in town. Weve been going for years. My son and myself like nice, tight clipper cuts, and Mr. Lee has an eye for detail.

At his previous location, there was an issue with other businesses placing dumpsters in front of his shop. That was taken care of and now the shop has upgraded. Keep shining Mr. Lee.

Used to be good, but at my last visit I left extremely disappointed with my cut. Especially for the typa change he charging, cuts need to be flawless.In response to your Reply Mr Lee, I didnt post this to try and bash you or anything. Was rather hoping it would give you reason to rectify a mistake. As the picture below shows (i hope) you made clear errors doing my hairline. You charge $25 for a simple cut, but on that faithful Monday you did the Cut + Beard for $35, and more to that I was still kind enough to leave you a tip. So I am not out to hate or destroy a mans business. As any good professional, just as you are happy receiving compliments, so should you be at taking constructive criticism.I didnt get the appointment through your system, but by calling you. Its unfortunate that you would try and say I havent visited your shop, as I have all the digital receipts of payments, and messages of appt. confirmation. I was your first appointment 2 Mondays back at 10.30am. And reason I didnt linger after feeling disappointed is because I had another appointment to get to, and there was no fixing the mistake as that would have demanded taking my hairline further back and shortening the side even further to match the shorter side. Only option I had was suck it up and wait for new growth to rectify it.As mentioned, all visits prior to that had been good. Granted there were only 3 over a long period of time. But as the business world knows, unfortunately all it takes is for one bad thing to happen.I havent said I wouldnt be returning, as I hope this was just one hiccup and future encounters would be better. But please kindly take complaints with as much pride as you do compliments, as they only make you better at your craft and interactions with customers.

I just read about Mr. Lees shop in todays Coloradoan. Kudos for hanging in there during this pandemic. If I didnt already have a hometown barber that I have been going to for many years I would give Mr. Lees a try.BUT the pictures accompanying the article seem to indicate that there is no attempt to comply with the face coverings mandate by the city and county. That doesnt inspire confidence in your shop for potential customers and, just from a best business practices standpoint, it would be better to comply and err on the side of safety. Ill pass for now, thank-you.

Every time I come here I leave impressed with the quality of work and professionalism that Mr. Lee has with me and his clients at the shop. If you are looking for a clean cut hit him up. It is easiest to book appointments in advance!

Unfortunately our experience here did not go well and I was very disappointed in the professionalism as well as the fade. I dont want to go into details or post pictures, as I am all for supporting local businesses but, I would steer clear of this place if you are looking for a clean fade and warm mannerism.In response to owner: I showed you a picture of his brother, who has the same hair type. They are Hispanic/Black. I would have been satisfied and respectful of you telling me you could not achieve the fade I showed you a picture of, but you said ok. I dont cut hair so I rely on the expertise of the barber to give me the best advise and trust it will be executed as such. Yes, my 5yr old can get antsy and wiggle, no excuse, but Ive never had a problem and he gets his cut regularly. Thank you.

Mr. Lee is very personable with kids and adults alike! Hes a professional in every sense of the word and my sons hair looks fantastic. It looks good when its a fresh cut, and also grows out well. I love to support small, locally owned businesses and Mr. Lee is an asset to the community!

I couldn’t have come here at a better time. All my barbers I like previously worked for another company but I just happened to see this place around the corner from my house so I thought I’d try it and they all work here now! Mr. Lee was very cool and knows how to take care of his guests and employees. They seem happy and so am I with my cut. Keep it up!

Great service and experience

Took our two year old to Mr. Lees for the first time yesterday. It was a fantastic experience! We had Mr. Lee and he did an excellent job on the cut and you can tell he has experience with kids. Really cool shop as well.

Extremely rude because I called saying that I was lost and new to the area. Owner claimed I should have used common sense to find the location. I arrived 15 minutes into my appointment and he made it a point to express his frustration. Will not be returning. I agree with the previous review that he has a chip on his shoulder and a big ego!

I scheduled an appointment online with Christian and it couldnt have been easier. The reminder texts were very helpful. This has to be the cleanest and most proffessional barber shop I have ever been to. The Barber Christian, gave me a hair and beard cut/fade that certainly rivaled anything I got in the military. Over all this is the greatest and cleanest shop in town. All 4 barbers were exceptionally professional and courteous. This barber shop has exceeded any expectations Ive had especially in Fort Collins 11/10 would highly recommend. I generally dread having to sit in the chair for an extended period of time but the atmosphere of the establishment set me at ease. Christian was fast, but very very proficient. I will continue to go to him specifically, however if he is ever not here I wouldnt hesitate to have one of the other barbers cut me up. Any barber you go to here will be damn near flawless no matter what your needs.

Got the worst cut of my life here when I first moved to Fort Collins. Haven’t been back since. As Mr. Lee is the only African American barber in Fort Collins, putting my initial trust in his ability was a no-brainer. I was 100% wrong and received the absolute worst fade ever. I ended up going to a different shop right after to have it fixed. I made the mistake so no one else has to. Hit up another shop if you’re looking for a real cut.

Mr. Lee is, hands down, the best barber in Fort Collins. He doesnt need more than just a quick look at your head to tell what it is you need, and he delivers the highest quality cut. Ive been to a few barbers in FoCo, and I can tell you.. none of them even come close to this quality.. and he doesnt even charge that much. Hes probably the only one in town that can do a REAL fade.

I went to see Mr. Lee without an appointment. He fit me in quickly and gave me the freshest fade Ive ever gotten on this side of the Mississippi River. The shop itself was clean and had great vibes. I recommend Mr. Lee to anyone looking to get a fresh cut. As a newbie to Fort Collins I can say I have found my permanent barber.

Hands down the best barber in the city! I went through so many shops before landing in a permanent seat with Mr.Lee.Always very professional and the setting is everything you would want out of a barbershop.I literally would not trust any other shop with my hair, I’m beyond satisfied every single visit.Don’t overlook the awesome tattoo artist in the back as well as the salon either, when I said everything you’d ever want I meant it!

Mr Lees is a wonderful place to get a hair cut. Everyone is very pleasant and professional. This is my favorite place in Ft. Collins for a hair cut. Gunnar did a wonderful hair cut for me. He spends time to understand my needs and then takes as much time as needed to get everything perfect. I look forward to my next hair cut and to just hang out with Mr Lees people.

Stopped in today without an appointment and was taken care of by Erin. She did a great job and was easy to talk to. Atmosphere was laid back and I had good converstaions with the barbers and folks in the shop. Just found my favourite spot for a great cut and good people, Ill definitely be back again!

Took my 16 year old son to Mr.Lees 3 times. Cuts were acceptable but not to the photo of previous cuts done on my son. But my son felt akin and comfortable because they are of the same ethnicity. I always paid him in cash cause cash is King. My son made his own appt on the website and was unable to cancel it on the website when he had a conflict. My son tried to reschedule another appt and got this message from Mr.Lee.....I will not accept anymore appt requests from you u til you pay me for the no show. Too bad....my cash will be king somewhere else. I also have to add, weve made appts and have been on time or early and have had to wait for our cut because Mr.Lee was behind and was cutting a walkin...we didnt get an apology or an acknowledgment but we didnt complain or ask for credit.On the upside, he plays great music........

Been getting my hair cut from Lee since I was probably about 14years old. Not only has it become a no brainer on where Im getting cut up at but Ive also gained good friend from my experience at the shop. Very cool dude whos very serious about his art! Not a complaint I can think of even after 8 years with the dude. 10/10 no doubt!

Customer Caution!!!!I Have been a loyal customer for about 6months now. Today, there was confusion as to appointment time do to an update sent out by Mr. Lee. Not only was the update unclear about what time to show up, it also shaved 15 minutes off of my haircut time with no decrease in price. When I arrived Mr. Lee proceeded to lecture me about his valuable time and was quite aggressively rude. I tried to explain the confusion and he would not hear reason. All in all I will be taking my business elsewhere. Sadly, Mr Lee does not understand how to run a business that respects customers.

This is the first time I’ve ever made a review so it’s serious. I scheduled an appointment to see “Mr Lee” and when I got to the shop it was like three persons there. So I was just there looking, then a guy who’s apparently Mr Lee asked how may I help you, reminding y’all I made an appointment so I was expecting someone to know that they’d have a client coming but I was greeted with a “How May I help you?”. Anyway I said I have an appointment then the guy said okay so I asked if he was the one going to do it then he said yes he’s the owner of the place. Mine you I’ve never been to the shop before, I saw four persons when I just went and most barber shop have a lot of barbers so that is why I asked if he’s going to do it.Anyways the energy was just weird, not welcoming at all. I sat in the chair and then he asked me if I expected someone else and I said “With the name Mr Lee I thought it would be a Chinese guy”. Then he said something about if all Chinese guy name Lee then I said well most but I picked up he found it offensive so I closed my mouth, didn’t say anything else . He then proceed to work then I saw him chopping off a lot of hair knowingly I don’t even have a lot. I wanted to say stop and look but I know these barbers find that offensive which I sorry I didn’t do. So when he paused I looked in the mirror and I could see the side of my hair bald like a guy I just shook my head and said no. He was like “is something wrong”? Then went on to say I came in and was texting on my phone and made a racist comment. The comment where I said yes I expected a Chinese guy that’s what he said I was racist about. I was explaining myself then he said I was shouting I should get out of his shop. He should be glad I did press charges or told my family.So Mr Lee, I’m telling you this. Be more professional, you are dealing with people who you don’t even know, I’m just warning you before you do it to the wrong person. I’m not the type to say don’t go to this shop or whatever but I’m telling you it could’ve been worse and what you did was beyond wrong. Be more professional and respectful!
