John Scott has to be the best barber in Fort Collins! Every time I go in, I walk out proud, knowing my hair looks great. He takes the time to get to know his people, and genuinely cares about what they have going on in life. Every time I see him, its like the conversation just continues where we left off. I wouldnt want my hair cut by anyone else!

My stylist is one that I return to on a regular basis. She is quick and talented. What impresses me most is her proficiency and her ability to work directly to a solution. Regarding the establishment, I have been to places where the equipment is poor/broken, the flow of service is not comfortable. B&B is certainly nowhere in that category, when you walk in you know that this is their specialty. Everything is clean, professional, and up-to-date. Some places seem more catered to women, however the feel walking in to B&B is not overtly feminine. The focus is more on their specialty, what they do best.

Before finding John Scott as my barber/stylist a few years ago, I bounced around from place to place looking for a solid hair cut. It was impossible to find someone who had the creativity and who cared enough about their brand to help me figure out what style worked best on me. Its true that I have tough hair, its thick, course, and unruly! But then by luck , I tried John Scott (at his prior business) and I have never gone anywhere else. He took the time to work through the cowlicks and find a cut that works for me.I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new stylist. Give them a try, I think you will be pleased...

I would highly recommend John for your next massage! I had a gift card for a full body 90 minute massage and John was incredible. He was very professional, friendly, warm, and made me feel very comfortable. He invited feedback, adjusted pressure and made sure I was well-situated. I was able to fully relax and left feeling at ease and refreshed. This was by far the best massage I have ever had. I will definitely come back to John for my next massage.

I just had my third haircut with Ashley. For the first one, she had to deal with hair that was long overdue for a cut, thanks to my long-time stylist retiring, my procrastination about finding someone new, and then the pandemic. I showed her a photo of what I wanted, and she did an amazing job. My hair is exactly how I like it. As it grows out between cuts it keeps a nice shape. Each appointment has been right on time. Im satisfied that they are keeping things as sanitary as possible, checking temperatures as you walk in, wiping down surfaces when you leave. All in all, a very pleasant experience, highly recommended.

Buzz and Bliss and its staff are amazing! I have been going their since they opened their doors more than a decade ago. I first started with John and massage and found my amazing forever hairdresser, Ashley. However, I love all their staff. From all the receptionists to all of the service technicians. I know that when I go to get any service done, I dont have to worry, because the staff are up to date with all the latest and greatest and they are absolutely some of the sweetest and nicest people I know. So it is always a great experience!

John Petersen knocks it out of the park again with an amazing massage at my end of January Saturday appointment at Buzz & Bliss. The ends of the month are always stressful at my workplace, and while I love my job I was very much looking forward to a relaxing 90-minute massage from the best CMT in northern Colorado. I think I have been getting work done by John for about ten years or so at this point but I havent written a review recently for him; this visit prompted me to do so. As ever, attentive, courteous, and highly professional, John is an excellent massage therapist with a clear love and passion for his craft that he executes perfectly every time I book an appointment with him -- and Im sure with all of his clients. I dont know that I can speak highly enough of this mans work, but I have been going to Buzz & Bliss for the express purpose of massage with John for at least a decade so I think that that probably speaks for itself. I have had maybe 2 massages from others during that time. I love Buss & Bliss, I am excited to see the changes as they continue to transpire under the new ownership and Im already looking forward to my next massage. I went there seeking a last minute relaxing massage and I was pleased with my experience despite a pandemic happening around us. John was very professional and I would gladly get another massage from him. I felt comfortable with the attention to detail and overall cleanliness, especially regarding covid. Ive had a few massages at different places around town and some I wont forget for all the wrong reasons. However, next time Im looking for a massage, this place will be high on my list.

I was referred to Patricia at Buzz and Bliss several years ago by a work colleague. Since then, Patricia has been styling my hair and I am very pleased with her work. I have fine (limp) hair that is difficult to get to look good. Patricia does a fantastic job coloring (a specialty of hers) and cutting my hair. She is responsive to input and makes adjustments based on my feedback. I give her the highest recommendation. I like the staff at Buzz and Bliss also. They are friendly and welcoming. This is a nice place to relax and be pampered!

I came in for a haircut. My stylist did a good haircut. My complaint is with the salon adding a $3-5 Coronavirus fee on each client to cover their costs. They also charge $3 for a mask if you forget yours. Two other hair salons of similar type didnt charge extra and offered free masks. Providing hand sanitizer, taking temps, filling out a one page screening form, and wiping down surfaces between clients does not justify their added fee. Will not be returning.

Andrea was super great! Kind, professional, highly skilled. I got a long hair perm, which its super hard to find a place/person who still does these and really knows what theyre doing. On top of the great experience I had there, they also offered beverages and samples and coupons while I was there. I highly recommend Buzz & Bliss, and I will definitely be back!

I have been coming here to have my hair done (highlights and cut) for almost two years now. I have seen three different stylists and have been extremely happy with all of them. My main stylist is Christi, who has done an amazing job highlighting and styling. I received so many compliments on my shorter hair with new fringe after my latest appointment. Cannot recommend her enough! Reception is friendly, booking appointments is easy, rates are not too pricey, quality of products and service is great, and you will often receive coupons for products and services.

They are so good at remembering a name and face that it makes one feel very much at home. And I will brag on Kimberly just a bit - her skills are unbelievable. I have never left without being confident that the cut she gave me will be easy to work with, will grow out well, and will look FABULOUS. All in all, the salon is a very positive experience, and I would recommend it highly.

This is a very well run salon and spa. Ive only gotten massages here, but John is a great massage therapist. I feel very comfortable with him and the massages have been very relaxing! They are also on time with appointments.

Took my daughter to get her hair dyed. They were friendly throughout the time we were there. Making sure he were always good or if we needed any water. Very pleased with how well the color turned out and even topped it off with curling the hair. They say you get what you pay for, but here it felt like we got more than what we paid for. I was so lucky to find Buzz & Bliss. Kristin is the best stylist Ive ever had. She really knows what she is doing. If you need help choosing a cut, she will give you suggestions. If you bring in a photo of a complicated cut, she will duplicate it perfectly. I have really thick hair and she is so good at thinning it out and making it look awesome. I hope she never leaves Buzz & Bliss or I might just have to follow her to wherever she goes! Ive been going to Buzz & Bliss for about 5 years now and everyone is always very nice. They offer you a drink while you are waiting for your appointment. I have also been in once for a massage and the guy was great! It was very relaxing and he was very skilled and professional. I had a hair appointment with Naomi this past Saturday, and she was fantastic! I got a cut and a style, and was really happy with the results of both. I dont cut my hair often and I have these dense banana curls that almost dread themselves. It was really nice to find a cut and stylist that worked so well with me. Naomi was super nice, professional and friendly, as well as everyone else at the salon. The person that checked me in offered a cup of citrus water, and another hair stylist that walked by brought up a new product they had just gotten in (it was a thermal protector which was really considerate since at that moment I was getting a blow out before getting my hair styled). The atmosphere is great, this place is really a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. It feels really spacious, clean and taken care of. I have not been to the spa yet, but I will definitely be coming back. Thank you ladies!!

I used to go here 10 years ago and had great experiences! They send me emails now and then saying how much they miss me, which is nice. Everyone likes to feel wanted from time to time. Anyway, I can’t speak to what’s changed in 10 years, but back in the day it was legit.

I was raised by a mans man. Now a days you call them Neanderthals. You go to a man for a hair cut. Pampering is for pansies and so forth. Buzz and Bliss was a shock to my system. However the staff there is very tuned into mens grooming needs. They are very skilled with scissors, clippers and razors. I got a great haircut, a head massage disguised as a shampoo and great conversation. The price is higher than a chain shop but the results are worth it.

I love Buzz and Bliss! I have been a customer of B&B for 5+ years. Shawna takes great care of my hair needs; Iespecially love the balayage color she does for me. The salon staff is always very friendly and helpful. Occasionally I enjoy some spa treatment and John is wonderful for massages as well.

Two years ago, I would’ve given 4-5 stars. Not anymore. The receptionist was not friendly. She didn’t even smile when I checked in my 12 year old. The stylist was 30 minutes late. We weren’t even offered water while we waited. When the stylist finally called my child, she didn’t even apologize for being late. While my child was still having her haircut, the receptionist asked me to pay; also asked if I wanted to leave a gratuity, and how much. How would I even know, since the haircut wasn’t finished? Clearly we were the last appointment Saturday afternoon and the receptionist wanted to leave. We will not be returning to this salon.

Ive been super impressed with Buzz and Bliss - from Kristies efficient and gentle hair cut (get the deep conditioning add-on, my hair is like silk), to Rachels delicious berry chocolate facial, and Jonathans highly-skilled and relaxing massage. I highly recommend this place - Ill be getting a massage membership thats for sure. Friendly and welcoming staff, with a warren of serene treatment rooms.

I got a cut and color done. The hair dresser was friendly and did her best to fulfill what I wanted in a haircut. I was very pleased in the beginning, but after the first week noticed many hairs cut wayyyy too short and cut wrong. The grow outs going to be a long process and hopefully it’ll be blended in the next hair cut. But I’m not sure if I’ll be going to this place a second time.

John is an amazing massage therapist. He tailors every massage perfectly to your needs. His neuromuscular neck work gets rid of headaches for months on end. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

In February, I received an incredible massage from therapist John Peterson. I was visiting friends in the area from California and was in need of some help. I have had many massages over the years from a variety of well qualified therapists and rolfers. This was truly the most exceptional one that I have ever had. I am hoping when I return to the area in May, I can book another. My only regret is that he isnt located in Wine Country!

I have been getting massages from John Petersen at Buzz and Bliss since they opened, some fourteen or fifteen years. I had injured my back and was seeking relief without medication. Neuromuscular and deep tissue massages helped me a lot and I have continued to see John to help me take care of my martial-arts practicing middle-age muscles. Highly recommend.
