Dr matlack does not seem to care or be efficient with his patients. Very quick to try to get you out of his office. Its ethier his way or no way. Finding a new doctor ASAP.

I’ve been on a certain medication for close to ten years. I received a phone call tonight stating that they will not continue prescribing this medicine with no reasons given. I asked to speak with Robert Matlack and he refused to talk to me instead going through a very rude guy named Shawn. Don’t waste your time or money with this place. It’s gone completely down hill since Mark Downs left. Run by inconsiderate cowards.

The Doctor I saw confuses her own personal problems in her diagnoses. Didn’t even give me 3 appointments before concluding substance abuse because I mentioned I recently stopped smoking marijuana. Just one appointment and she concluded substance abuse due to her own ex husbands drug addiction and how it affected her own life as she kept letting him abuse her. I found out more about her than she ever did about me in the only appointment I had with her. The next appointment she Gave horrible body language and said she would no longer treat me, while kept asking “how does that make you feel”. God bless, do not recommend her.

This is not a family oriented place. Avoid at all cost. Was banned from property for giving my daughter a kiss and hug and telling her I love her at the resistance of the mother . Per request of the mother, the police were called and the office manager kicked me off the property.

My daughter didnt like this guy from the start. His bed side manner was non existent. And he only tried to compound my childs medication. All we wanted was new prescription for her current medications and we had just moved here. Today I had the displeasure of speaking with a rude office manager after I had already spoken with an appointment clerk earlier in the day. This women was rude and impolite and really brought out some emotions in me. She made me feel like I was trying to buy drugs off the street or something for my child. When I confronted her she switched it around and informed me that with my attitude they wouldnt see my child again. Thank God for small miracles. I will find a better physician for my child undoubtedly. Stay clear. Zero stars if they would let me.

I only be in his office for a few minutes and I’m out not even 10 minutes. He asked me the same question every time. Are you feeling like hurting yourself or anyone, if so please let us know give us a call. He gave me a type of medication for bipolar depression and I don’t have bipolar depression . It’s like he’s giving me different types of medication to see what works I haven’t went back in a few months. He’s doesn’t talk to me about my medication. And I got off clonidine because it wasn’t for me plus my doctors been asking me why are you taking that and you don’t suffer from high blood pressure. I have heard some people take it for adhd and I no longer have the hypotension part from ADHD I now feel like I’m just suffering from ADD got off my medication from adhd a long time ago and . All dr mattock does is ask me do I need a refill then ask me the same question he always asked then give me the prescription to take it to my pharmacy then I’m out the door. He’s to quick as if he’s rushing his patients to hurry up and get them out.. this is my personal experience when seeing him he’s to fast and doesn’t get a chance to talk to the patients so he can hear if they have concerns about their medication

I personally do not like this doctor. The meds I was telling him werent working and were making me worse off. He wanted to keep me on them . Yet, the ones i stated worked and have been from previous doctors. He took me off stating that I was addicted and abusing it. Now, I do not have a doctor or even know where to find a good one . I have been off my meds for over a 1 yr and a half now. And severely suffering at home now.

Dr. Matlock is wonderful! His first interest is the health of the child. He listens to the parent and is very understanding. My son is multi_diagnosed with very difficult challenges. Mr. Matlock is great with prescriptions as well. He doesnt over prescribe nor under. His only downfall is the length of time it takes to get paper work.

Dr. Matlock is very unprofessional with older patients who have suffered serial trauma and child abuse, I dont understand whe this institution has an older women seeing this doctor if he is specialized in child psychology, my family member has been through a lot and he had the nerve to tell her to grow up and basically telling her to stop complaining. He constantly keeps changing her medication even though the medication her previous psychiatrist was working well, my family member is suffering at home and he has the nerve to me so insensitive and disrespectful and not understanding is appalling. I do not recommend anyone have this doctor unless they want there family member end up emotionally unstable.

Dr. Matlack is the best been working with my child for 14 years :-)

Dr Matlack is ok, but he really doesnt listens to his patents needs or what is best for them. Most Dr.s will work with a patent, but with Matalk its his way or the highway.
