T is a very sad situation when an internist cannot even diagnose shingles and wants to send you to a dermatologist. Not to mention the same doctor also does not know the proper medication to give to treat shingles. Even a layperson knows that you need Valtrex to stop your shingles from spreading and your daughter has to tell your doctor this. The same doctor also made a diagnosis of diabetes when my A1 C test all came back in a normal range for the 19 years that I have been his patient. I have never needed medication or had an issue with this and he refuses to take it off of my medical records causing my insurance rates to increase. The same doctor left me waiting in his waiting room for over 4 1/2 hours then spent five minutes with me during which he contradicted himself three times. How comfortable would you be with this doctor?

Love the Doctors there. The wait is never that long. Like most dr office and the staff are very friendly.
