My wife and I are new to the area. We searched for an office that took our insurance and was close to us. After I few visits, I found that this office is an extremely good office. The whole staff and doctor are courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. In the past, for us, most of the waiting time in a medical office reception room has been 40-60 minutes. Then there was a 20-25 minute wait in the treatment room. Here, there was less than 5 minute waiting time. They have been on time with every visit so far. And, we did not have to wait a long time in the treatment room. They have a good network with other doctors and medical services. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new family doctor. Even if you have to travel a few extra minutes to reach the office, you easily make up that time by not sitting in the reception room forever. Very happy with this office.

I scheduled a physical for my 20 year old daughter. She saw Breony Stoddard. My daughter mentioned a few minor concerns, she is overall healthy. My daughter described symptoms of heart burn/stomach reflex and Bre ordered over $1000 in unnecessary lab work and referred to multiple spec including a cardiologist. GIVE me a break!Lone Peak Family decided to bill it as a different type of appointment which meant we had to pay in full. We have a high deductible plan but physicals are free. When I called they were unrelenting. Apparently if you bring up a few concerns they will no longer bill it as a preventive appt. They get paid the same!! What is the point of a physical if you cant mention concerns!! It was very over the top and extremely expensive.My FAMILY WONT GO BACK!!

If you’re looking for actual care, do not see Dr Zachary Fredman. He is not my normal doctor in this office but my doctor was not available so I saw this one as I needed my meds renewed. He did not check my ears, eyes, mouth, water retention… nothing that Dr David Jack normally checks at a yearly physical. Dr Fredman was more concerned about telling me he does not prescribe opioids, which I was not even asking for. I did not feel like he cared at all. Then he screwed up my prescriptions when he sent them to the pharmacy and had to redo them. I felt no confidence in this doctor at all and even called to have Dr Jack review my labs because I did not trust Dr Fredman’s opinion or judgment. Do not see him unless you are desperate.

Great experience. I was scheduled for an annual exam, and Dr. Furness was running behind (Im blaming Covid patients) but he was not rushed with me, was thorough and thoughtful. On a side note, I came down with shingles a week or so later, and he called in my Rx at 11:45 p.m., which meant hed had a LONG DAY and still saw to my needs. Im very appreciative.

Dr. Jack is always well informed about my issues. Hes responsive and is mindful about the appropriate level of treatment and the costs involved in terms of money, inconvenience, and time involved.

Doctor Furness is by far the most professional, compassionate, accurate and fast acting at the behest of the patient physician I have ever met.Unfortunately, I have met dozens.The patient does not feel that corporate interests and bottom lines superseded those of his health.Dr. Furness high performance is superlative especially when compared to the competition such as, Revere health and the veterans Administration.

Dr. Robinson is a nice guy, who genuinely wants to help his patients. However, the chain of communication in this office is abysmal and has gone completely downhill in the last year.I am constantly having to call to reiterate the same information. I have left multiple messages with the front desk. However, my calls are never returned. And I have been left without my medication on more than one occasion.I used to recommend this Family Practice to all of my family and friends. But will not be doing so anymore. I sincerely hope this establishment can get back on the right track.

Absolutely recommend this office. they constantly amaze with their sincerity and kindness along with their prompt responses and quick appointments. I have only see two drs here, Dr. Friedman and Dr. Robinson and both were great, along with their nurses. Front desk was pretty helpful with my questions. 10/10 recommend lone peak family health!

Really do your research. There are far better providers out there. The level of care and treatment has declined greatly over the last few years. Front desk started out very helpful but even their willingness to help has decreased. We use to only make appointments in the morning because Dr Schellenberg seemed in a better mood and more attentive. He seriously never remembered our family of 6. Ive really never met a doctor that mets you for the first time every single visit. Dr S. left without notice in January and we’ve been left high and dry without a provider since. (Side issue but our insurance only allows for PCM changes during open enrollment which was missed). 1st awful experience: our kindergartener was given the incorrect immunization/vaccination in 2017. I was mortified to learn this from the school nurse. (Double dose of one and zero of the other.)2nd offense: due to not having a practicing PCM our 15 y/o daughter was passed on to a PA. Lovely person I’m sure. But our daughter was suffering from severe and chronic headaches, with depression. Every single referral was denied because LPFH sent it to an adult specialist who does not treat minors. Every denial required multiple attempts at securing a referral to children’s primary. My daughter ended up not able to see a neurologist for 6 months!!!! Living in a constant state of numbing headaches and increasing depression. And my son’s referral to an ENT for a broken nose and deviated septum was denied because the referral wasn’t sent from his PCM (Dr Scellemberg) but rather the PA.3rd offense : same daughter went in on her own (she’s 16 now and can drive and mom has a job!!!) and was denied treatment or even a visit due to parents not being with her. Dad lives less than 1/2 of a mile away from the clinic and when she checked in early she asked if she could call him to come up to the office. The MA was so rude to her and said no. Poor girl had strep throat and they sent her off to work as a babysitter to small children with a communicable disease. The MA called after sending my daughter away to tell me what happened. I asked if I could fill out the form allowing my daughter to be seen without me there and she said no citing my number wasn’t included in the HIPPA form. Um...a blank form does not have any identifiable protected health information. Better yet, she informed me that she allowed my daughter to schedule a new appointment for the following day, but again this was during my work hours(I see patients and can’t cancel easily). What a joke!Last straw: today I called to get my 12 y/o 2 immunizations he needs for the 7th grade. The letter I just received from his school says he needs them by Wednesday or can’t return. Because my son is healthy and hasn’t been to the doctor since 2017 he can’t get the immunizations by the PA. He needs a well visit. 1 week wait for that. So I called the health department as another option. They don’t accept our health insurance (grand irony as it’s federal health insurance) so the cost to vaccinate by son is $240.

Dr Reese is very knowledgeable and personable. I have full confidence in bringing any issue to her.

Everyone here is incredibly kind, friendly, and compassionate in addition to being professional and responsive. I drive in from Pleasant Grove to see this team and wouldnt have it any other way.

Dr. Robinson takes his time with me as asks me about me! He’s not pushing to get out the door and I feel he’s keenly concerned about my health and well being. He is highly response via the patient portal to respond to questions and refill any medications I may need.

Dr. Andrew Robbinson was the doctor I saw for my required yearly physical and bloodwork screening for my lower premiums on my health insurance. He was very thorough and patient with me and my health history. Dr Robbinson was very professional and friendly. Lone Peak Family health was able to get me in for an appointment very quickly, they had openings the next day but i scheduled a week out to fit my schedule. I will definitely be back.

Tl;dr - Beware this provider practices fraudulent behavior when coding their claims. Go somewhere else for your PCP!My family recently moved to Utah. Upon moving to Utah, my wife wanted to find a PCP so she called and made an appointment for her annual wellbeing visit that is 100% covered as part of our plan, with a local in network provider. At the end of her visit, the doctor, Betsy Reese, asked my wife if she had any questions about her health. My wife proceeded to discuss some lingering symptoms she was experiencing from COVID (there was no mention of COVID at all prior to this). She had been diagnosed with a positive test results the month prior to that at a Walgreens testing location.Following the visit to the doctor, we unexpectedly received a bill in the mail for this office visit. We were surprised to see this since it shouldve just been an annual wellbeing visit. Therefore, my wife called the doctors office (Lone Peak Family Health) to resolve this issue. She asked the individual she spoke with on the phone if they could change the code to be an annual wellbeing visit and they refused. They said they couldnt because they discussed COVID during the appointment despite my wife specifically scheduling this as just a wellbeing visit and made no mention of needing anything for COVID. It was also her first visit there, as well as her first visit to the doctor this year. They were extremely rude and persistent in their refusal to correct the claim. Now they are forcing us to pay this bill of $211.59 by sending it to collections.Edited on 7/12 to reply to Maddie (Madalynne Draper):Hi Maddie,While the patient was my wife and not me, everything in my review was 100% true. I noticed a lesion on my hand that wouldnt heal. My doctor, Todd Furness, offered to remove it during my visit. It turned out to be Squamous Cell Carcinoma (a kind of skin cancer that can spread). I am grateful that he removed it at this early stage. I will always to to Lone Peak Family Health.

The doctors at Lone Peak Family Health are great! They are all concerned about you as a person not just a patient. Dr. Jack is a wonderfully caring man and doctor. He always asks about family as well as you. He wants to know how everything is going and if all your treatments are working well even if hes not the one prescribing them. Dr. Furness has followed in his foot steps in a way, as being a very caring man. He will ask after my daughter and how my treatment with another doctor is going. They both will spend as much time with you as you need. Ive had a few times where Ive had a lot of questions about treatments & theyve had to go see other patients and then come back in to see me for a longer appointment. They will spend the time to talk to talk to you unlike a lot of others who just want you in and out as soon as possible so they can make the most money in a day. Try them out, youll like them!!

We have been going to Dr Jack for over 30 years and with my problems of health issues in California, I needed to hear from Dr Jack who is the Dr I believe. It was a pleasure to visit with him again.

I was looking for a great medical team after my doctor had left to peruse other things he wanted to peruse in the medical world. I was having a hard time trying to match him. Until finding my current doctor and their team of expects. Hats pff to lone peak medical.

I had 2 appointments with Dr Shellenberg. I had been having severe headaches and we did a CT scan, and I returned and after 2 brief visits was told I stumped him. We never figured it out. I used other Drs and methods to find resolution. I am self pay and paid my money prior to both visits, but a week or two later was sent a bill for more money. I asked if they would be willing to accept what I already had paid, especially since there were no results, but was just told NO.I will not be going to him again

So, this place charged close to a thousand dollars to tell us that my spouse has gallstones and they recommended surgery ... BUT they didnt measure the stones????!!!!! Now, we could put him on a diet and see if it helps, but how would we know without the size of gallstones. What a joke!

Dr. Robinson was kind, thorough, and thoughtful in his approach to our visit. I practice dermatology, so having someone I feel I can go see for my personal health and wellness as a medical professional brings a lot of peace. I would highly recommend Dr. Robinson.

Dr Reese is the most compassionate caring doctor I have ever met. She truly cares and is brilliant in the diagnosis. Nothing gets by her. I hesitate to say these things because I’m afraid I won’t be able to get in to see her in my same day fashion I have gotten used to. But even if I have to wait a day or two it will be okay. She is worth the wait.

I moved to Utah two months ago and needed an annual physical. I took the recommendation of a relative and went to Dr. Furness at Lone Peak Family Health. They were quick and efficient. Dr. Furness was thorough and asked me questions my other physician didn’t. I felt that Dr. Furness cared about my current situation and wanted to improve my health. He gave my several articles on items that I was not familiar with. I was impressed with him and his assistant Brittany.

I have been going to Dr Jack for 30 yrs now. I love him. He has always taken time to listen to my concerns and addressed any issues I may have. They have worked with my crazy schedule I used to have to take care of things. If I have any questions I can go to the Patient Portal and get a response that day from Dr Jack or Emily. I can get into my appointments with little wait if any. I cant say enough about the whole practice, they are great. I would recommend any of them.

He always works with me to answer my questions and provides his expertise.I also felt safe coming there during the pandemic. Telemedicine is also offered. I have used that once.

My experience with Dr Betsy Reese at Lone Peak Family Health was excellent. Dr Reese reviewed with me my current medical tests and surgery. She arranged a referral for physical therapy and set the date for my next blood panel. She took the time to address my questions and arranged the date for my next blood panel. Very courteous and professional.

My son referred me to Breony Stoddard, PA and I am very thankful. She is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and thorough. That is what I needed and her MA Jaimie is also remarkable. The office staff is excellent, so I feel lucky to have them as my team!

In a difficult and dire situation, and after our old Primary care dr blew us off completely, Dr Reese was willing to accept a new patient and started the process to get some answers. She was accessible and even reached out to me later to follow up. I cant believe how kind, professional and reassuring she was to a virtual stranger. The office personnel were also compassionate and understanding. I cant say enough good about our treatment there.

I went in with an infection. Doctor was very mediocre with diagnosis, bedside manner, and information. All he did was prescribe general antibiotics without information on options, side effects. When I asked questions, he was more interested in getting out the door than answering thoroughly. Got my antibiotics though, and my infection is getting better.

Dr. Furness is top notch. Not only does he, but all his staff, listen to the patient. For me, this is most important.Detailed, reliable, and thoughtful. These are synonyms with Dr. Furness.

PA Erin Kimball is great, really listens to what you have to say without making you feel uncomfortable about it.

This was the worse appointment Ive ever had. Dr reversed the scripts between Express scripts & Smiths. I told them before I left the office but they didnt. I ended up spending 3hrs at Smiths waiting for my script even though I called when I got there to pick up my script.

Been coming here for years for both ER and standard Physician visits.ER wise, staff is fantastic and have always been great to work with and interact with. Wait times have always been acceptable and once Ive been looked at help has always been beneficial.Physician wise Ive seen Erin Kimball and Matthew Schellenberg and I would easily recommend both to anyone looking for a new doctor or wanting an alternative.

Last week was my first time seeing Dr. Robinson. I went to see him because my former physician moved to California and the clinic that he was working at referred Dr. Robinson to me.My first impression of Dr. Robinson is that he is easy to talk to and very polite. I do not know how good that he is as a physician at this point, but I trust that he is good. One thing that I know is that he is confident of himself because he told me that there are other physicians in the clinic that I can choose if I so wish. People with little self-confidence will not say something like that.Hope I have something more to add that is valuable in the future.

Have had Dr. Robinson as a family practice physician. He is friendly and helpful — until he isn’t. A few times he seemed to change his demeanor when the time was up, clearly wanting to move on. I went for my annual checkup, and after the slated amount of time, he started to leave when I told him I had a few more questions (which he would have known if he had bothered to ask me if I had any special concerns). He reluctantly closed the door, looked irritated, but answered my question. He then opened the door and was extremely irritated when I had a second issue. After 30 seconds of explaining that a friend had an issue which concerned me, he rudely cut me off, and in a tone I wouldn’t use on a naughty 3rd grader and asked me what any of this had to do with me. I explained that I took the same medication and was worried about future issues. He discussed the sensitive issue with the door open, and then hurried off.I then took an elderly friend to her Dr appointment where a kind, caring physician took all the time needed and had concern and patience for my friend. I couldn’t believe the contrast between someone who actually cared, and someone with the facade of caring, as long as you don’t go a minute over your slotted time. Dr Robinson ‘s assistant is a kind caring professional, and so are the office staff. But if the doctor isn’t.... why stay? When the survey asking how my visit had gone came, I filled it out. I was never contacted, though I was told later that he was supposed to contact me personally. I was then sent an email saying that matter had been resolved??? Why survey and then do nothing to address it, followed by an email saying everything had been resolved— and asking to review the experience???I have already contacted the practice manager. She is the one who told me the Dr. Was supposed to contact me personally. He had 2 weeks to call me, but didn’t — so much for caring for each patient and their needs...

Andrew Robinson is a kind, caring, and very knowledgeable doctor. My family has been seeing him for years. The office staff and the nurses are friendly and helpful. The waiting time is usually short, like 5 or 10 minutes. Only once was it 30 minutes. I would recommend this doctor!

Dr. Reese is super. We didnt solve my leg pain problem but did rule out several things and she gave me some medication and told me to come back in two weeks if not better. She was very concerned.

Recently moved to Sandy from Michigan. Dr. Furness was recommended to me by a local friend. As new patient I had the usual paperwork so I arrived early. Front desk staff very engaging and pleasant. Nurse took me back to exam room a few minutes early. Can not remember her name but she was very nice, did vitals quickly (did blood pressure via BP cuff and stethoscope old school, that was nice). As new patient lots of questions and with both of us wearing a mask made communication a little tricky but we managed.I may approach my health care a little more directly than most. I was raised in a medical family (father was a Mayo trained OBGYN) and for 12 years after college I worked as a deputy sheriff/paramedic so I am very familiar and comfortable around health care professionals. As such I dont suffer from doctor worship or put anyone on a pedestal, nor will I deal with large egos or being treated as one who is traveling in steerage lol. I seek a partner in my health care who will treat me with respect, expects to be treated same, is direct, proactive, is an excellent communicator/educator and pays more attention to me than the laptop. The first physician I saw here in Utah failed miserably on all counts. Dr. Furness and the entire staff, however, exceeded my expectations on every count. We got to know each other, got my scripts refilled scored a referral to a local orthopedic surgeon for my worn out and neglected shoulder and began addressing several other concerns. Im looking forward to a good, solid on-going partnership and I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Furness. Unless, of course, top notch quality health care is NOT what you are seeking.

I saw Erin Kimball this week and she was a breath of fresh air. My previous provider never listened and it lead to so much frustration. My visit with Erin today was amazing and left me feeling like I was in good hands. I always felt like I had to make separate appointments for every issue with my last doctor and she was always rushing me out whereas Erin asked me several times if there was anything else and she addressed everything that I’ve been worrying about. She is amazing!! Such a relief to finally have found someone that listens to their patients. ❤️

I have been a patient of doctor Robinson for almost 3 years now. My children love coming to see him and his staff. They are always wonderful with the time and care that you need. They really make you feel like your being heard. He is wonderful with children.

We love Lone Peak Primary Care! We recently switched our whole family to seeing doctors there. We have had many visits for my toddler with Dr. Schellenberg and I have seen Erin Kimball. Both of them are so kind and professional. All of the staff are helpful and we never have to wait long. I highly recommend them!

I go there for my yearly mammograms. I started to a few years ago and I will keep going there. I have been there for other things as well.

The team at Lone Peak Primary Care is the best. The doctors are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The staff is helpful. The location is great. I like that there is a lab next door if any testing is required. I highly recommend them.

I went into the emergency room with a broken leg and was out of there in a little over an hour!As a sick person, I have visited doctors there. My wait time has been under 10 minutes every time. The doctors are personable and well-informed. Everything is clean and they are very professional.For health check ups, the wait is also under 10 minutes. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dr Robinson listens to you and takes the time to see you receive the care necessary...I have been seeing him now for about a year and a half...I started to see him because he was so close to me and have been completely satisfied with my care...I will be moving but will continue to make the drive from my new home as I have been that happy with his care.I dont sit in a waiting room for more than about 5 minutes to see him, which is I found unusual... with most doctors they book out 3 or 4 patients at the same time...

I have been seeing PA Erin Kimball for a few years. I have been to a lot of Doctors and Erin she takes her time and explains thing very clear. I well stay with her as long as she is Lonely peak .Erin is very knowledgeable and check every thing.Her Assistants are very good and friendly. If you need a Doctor I highly recommend them to you.
