Would not recommend if you are looking for a responsive office. Over the last year, it has not been uncommon to wait 30+ minutes on hold before even being able to talk to someone at the front desk. Actually had to drive into the office to schedule an appointment at one point because the phones were not being answered. Not worth the headache with so many other options nearby.

I am really disappointed in this clinic. I am searching for answers to why I havent felt good. I went here 5 days ago. They ran blood tests. Its been 3 business days but 5 total days. I have not heard one thing about the results even after I have left messages. I will be looking for a new clinic.

Theyre better options. The north clinic helped me get an appointment with Dr. Atkins since his own staff didnt know what he treats. Dr. Atkins is very intelligent and competent, but brash. Hes the kid you didnt talk to in class cause the social skills werent there. Id compare my visit on par with going to the DMV. Those looking for a better experience should check out their SLC North or South locations. Ill be avoiding Draper in the future.

I really hate to do this but this place isnt all that great. Their communication sucks!!! I have been waiting almost three weeks to get a prescription and I cant ever get anyone to call me back from here. Finally I just started calling every day, they finally called in a prescription, then called in another and you guessed it, another one. All three different scripts too. I got my insurance involved and they too were completely confused as to what they are doing. I will not be going back again. On top of that their office staff isnt super nice, i can get over that but I know some people cant. It is very poorly managed for sure.

Dr. Wilkinson is great, but unfortunately the support staff and office staff surrounding her are absolutely horrendous. Cant even get a simple referral completed without multiple games of phone tag. I just payed the exorbitant office visit charge, even though I never got my referrals, just to be done with these people. Will never be coming back. And if youre reading this Dr. Wilkinson; go find a better place of employment. Somewhere you will get the support you deserve, because I cant be the only patient youre losing because of them.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The only reason I’m leaving any kind of review is to try to prevent someone else from going through what we went through. We went to Dr. Atkin for my daughter’s broken arm. he put her in a cast/brace and sent us home. The next day we returned because of how much pain she was in from the swelling. We saw his PA and she kindly wrapped her arm in casting cotton to help give it some cushion and sent us home. After returning for her 2 week checkup I brought up the fact that his PA wrapped her arm and how much relief that gave her. His response was, “good thing my PA was here cause I wouldn’t have wrapped it” then handed me casting cotton and told me if I wanted to do it then I could. This same daughter ended up with strep but because the labs came back as negative Dr. Atkin left it at that. We called the doctor who was on call, where it was a Sunday, and he had us bring her in. He took one look at her and knew instantly that it was strep. He put her on an antibiotic and within 24 hours she was feeling better. That doctor was the only good part about Foothill Family Clinic. We went to Dr Atkin for a wellness visit for our 2 year old with concerns of continuous loose stool. He had us keep a 2 week diary for my son. After looking it over he came back with a diagnosis of celiac disease. He told me we shouldn’t bother running labs and that we should just change his diet. That seemed like a pretty big diagnoses not to run labs for. After getting a second opinion, and had labs run, my son does not have celiac disease. He’s not even lactose intolerant and he will most likely grow out of this issue. Out of desperation we took our sick 2 year old back to Foothill Family Clinic but refused to see Dr. Atkin and instead saw a PA. He listened to my sons lungs, said it was croup, and sent us home with a steroid. He didn’t bother to check his ears or his O2 levels. I took him to a different facility the next day after getting much worse and he was diagnosed with RSV and a double ear infection. He was put immediately on breathing treatments and an antibiotic. I would never suggest this place to others. I’ve NEVER experienced a doctor with such a horrible bedside manner as Dr. Atkin.

Great experience start to finish - easy/friendly check-in, wait less than 2 min to be called back, friendly questions with personal history intake, then Dr Atkin arrived in less than 2 min w his scribe and the appt was excellent - good friendly conversation with Dr. Atkin - good explanations/recommendations. Overall a very positive and efficient process!

Really wanted this clinic to work out for me, its conveniently located to where I live. Had an issue I needed get checked, google reviews werent looking good, but they were able to get me in for a same day appt. I met Dr Atkins outside to do a covid test first, then got to talk to Dr Atkins, which was all fine and he was present to deal with. He said I would receive a call within 30mins with the covid results then we could move forward with lab work for my condition. Didnt hear back, so I phoned the next day to leave a message with his assistant, didnt receive a callback. After 3 weeks since the appt, my condition cleared up on its own. Also received the invoice for the service on my insurance, doesnt seem right to receive the bill before youve heard back on the covid results and received no service. Last week I went into the clinic to talk to someone about the service, I was given the business card of the Operations Manager, I called them and left a voicemail. They dont have a direct number listed so you have to go through the front desk. Its 3 days later and I havent heard back so I phoned the Operations Manager again and got through. She was pleasant and understanding, basically forgot to call me back last week. I wasnt expecting any great solution, just to offer my feedback and not go back to this location again. Would hope to see replies from the clinic addressing the concerning messages on google and their 2.7 score. Hope others have a better experience than me.

I have never been to a place where the Dr took so much time to talk to me. I didn’t feel rushed and he was so kind. I went to Draper and had experienced better care than I ever have. I highly recommend them, especially Dr.Atkin. I have referred others and they have all thanked me because of the exceptional treatment they received.

I called and scheduled a rapid covid test. Ok, I go to the drive though as directed, they take a bunch of information from me to add me as a new patient. I told them I have no interest to be a new patient, I just need a test done. They tell me I still have to do it. Alright... I fill out the info, they check me and take my sample, and later tell me they will contact me when it is ready, but because they send them in a bunch, they will get back to me in the afternoon. This was ay 10:00 am. I waited all day, checked my email and nothing. Finally, (now, almost 5 pm) I CALL THEM, get on hold for a really long time and they are barely able to tell me it was negative. Honestly, it was such a hassle for something that was supposed to be so simple that never again! Horrible.The bad reviews make a lot of sense.

The bill I received from this office did not include the entire amount that I owed, which seams dishonest. Glad I checked my insurance statements and called. The nurses/ doctors didn’t ask about my medication/medical history before prescribing which I thought was odd. I waited over an hour to see the doc (I even had an appointment) and he talked to me for 5 minutes. The office was dirty. Won’t be going back.

Always a positive experience here. I see Dr. Wilkinson because she is one of the best doctors I have ever met with (and Ive seen general practice doctors in a lot of different countries), she has genuine concern and care for your situation and will do her best to help you. Her Medical Assistants are SO nice, and I always feel heard by the staff there. The facility is clean and the staff from the front desk to the lab are helpful and friendly.

The support staff are rude, condescending, and useless. For a healthcare provider, one would think they would invest in better staff however this place has the worst staff, nurses, and medical aides. I will be changing to a completely different clinic. If you care about any type of quality healthcare, do not go to this clinic.

Dr. Wilkinson was so friendly and helpful when I last saw her—I’m surprised I can get an appointment with her so easily, but I won’t complain! I just set up another appointment with her again. I did not have any issues with the front staff, but it has been a while since I’ve been in—I’ll update my review if needed. Let’s all remember that these poor staff have been through a rough year in the medical field. Happy Holidays! :)

It’s been years since visiting foothill. Should’ve picked another location today. Nurse was terrible and when I questioned what she was proposing to do for my ear without the doctor’s opinion, she told me I’m happy to find another provider. I asked her why she was so irritated. Doctor wasn’t any better...that is for the 15 seconds I saw him. I get people have bad days, but the whole experience feels pretty par for the course here. Time to find another provider, just like she recommended:)

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic, and particularly, about Dr. Atkin! He is extremely caring and attentive and all around great physician. He is very knowledgeable and efficient. I have recently seen him for complications of COVID-19 and he has been extremely helpful through this difficult process. He is very thorough and follows through with everything in a timely manner. I am very impressed with his excellent patient care and service.

I would recommend Dr. Wilkinson to ANYONE. She was so professional, thoughtful and genuinely helpful with the concerns and questions I had. The lady who checked me into the appointment and took my vitals prior also took the time to really take care of me and was so friendly. Im always so nervous going to new doctors, but this experience was great!

Im wishing Id read reviews before scheduling an appointment as a new patient. The receptionist who greeted me was incredibly rude, standoffish, and completely unwelcoming. I even asked if she wanted me to leave - she was that unwelcoming. If you choose to visit this clinic, prepare yourself for being treated like youre a nuisance. Its funny to me that the sign directly behind the reception desk states Patients first. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Dont choose a provider because they happen to be in-network or geographically close to your home. Read the reviews. Im not surprised that this clinic doesnt even have 3 stars. I am giving them a generous 1. They are highly-disorganized and lack tact. Their communication and follow-up is adolescent in nature. Take your health to a firm who cares, for Foothill will fail you.

So I normally don’t do reviews but I’m going to do this one. I never knew I had a past due balance. They claimed to have sent me invoices but I never received one. A couple days I get a call from a collection agency, I told them I’ll pay when I get paid.Today I tried to schedule something to get tested for the corona, since I have symptoms and I was told I was terminated. And unfortunately even if I pay the small balance I can no longer go there. I’m extremely frustrated about that. Yes I understand I had a past due balance but I never once got a invoice sent to me or call prior before sending me to collections.Other then that they were fine. But I’d avoid them as much as possible. Clearly there are many negative reviews about this or something similar. I just thought I’d give them a shot, now look where I’m at, having to find a new primary care doctor and somewhere to get tested.

Staff was friendly, the wait was long (45 minutes to get in, but we still got in), clinic was organized and clean, and there was no problems other than the wait, however, I have never been to any clinic and not had to wait.

Went in for a free covid test a while ago, got home to around a $200 charge for going in to see the doctor, something I was told to do.When I called in, I understood I would stay in my car as they tested me. When I arrived they told me I had to see the doctor in person. I trusted them since I figured they had good intentions. I wish I had refused and just asked for the test. I never wanted to take up his personal time.Overall, just be cautious if you go here, but I wouldnt recommend it.

The Draper staff are *generally* nice and friendly in person (I say generally because they’ve been nice to me in my two visits, but my boyfriend remarked to me that the front office staff were rude to him in person in his first and only appt). Dr. Wilkinson was very professional, and I had a positive experience with her, as she gave me thorough advice and answered my many questions. I also got an in-car COVID test here with Dr. White which was a quick and very easy process with no hassles.I knocked off two stars though because most of the phones staff are very rude and needlessly sassy. I called in, described my situation to them, and Im not sure what I said that warranted their attitude. I also kept getting transferred to different people (4 times) and kept having to re-explain myself. Additionally, I noticed when I call in, they dont give you full helpful information and just give you short answers or try to pass you off to someone else. For example, I called in on a Sunday and one worker told me theyd be open until noon. When I arrived at the office at noon, it was closed so I called again. The worker then just said Our Draper office is closed. And then I HAD to ask, Well, which office is open until noon? to which she responded Cottonwood. Short answers, and theres no anticipation of what the customer might actually be looking for. Anyways, I hate talking to these people over the phones. I was reading some other comments where people are experiencing the same confusion over the different offices or unprofessionalism from the phones staff. Seriously, get better training on this!

I usually do not like leaving bad reviews- I think everyone deserves a second chance and some goodwill but the absolutely incompetent, terrible at their job, horrendous and flat out deceiving people working at Foothill Family Clinic deserve none of it. A family member of mine tore his ACL, in their initial diagnosis- albeit without the MRI- did not mention anything about the ACL at all. That was a little surprising that we did not hear anything about it. Anyways, we are asked to get an MRI done and they said they will figure out the appointment, we called by the end of the day and they had not done that yet. What is the hold up for? Someone has torn their ACL and is in immense pain but Foothill waits till the end of the day to figure that out. Okay, that is fine, thats their policy.We call the next day and they were out of office but had managed to get it set up, they got that set up like 3 days after the day we got it first checked. We called the MRI place ourselves and they said you can come in on the same day and get it done. Not sure why Foothill wanted to get it scheduled later than the availability? Did they want us to suffer? It almost seems like they wanted to purposely delay the surgery.We get the MRI done and the MRI place has sent the results, we call Foothill to have them verify and they dont have it at all. We then tell them to look in their portal to find it and they say they can see it. Why were we, people who have never ever worked in the medical field, telling experienced employees how to do THEIR job? Talk about incompetence. Moving on, its been a day and they STILL have not opened the results, seriously, what is this wait? We were so frustrated that we called the MRI facility and they HAPPILY gave us the results. So, we were able to get the results much faster than a clinic that apparently specializes in such stuff. Seriously, think about it- how were we able to get the results before the clinic???We call at the end of the day and they STILL had not opened the MRI. Seriously, what is the hold up? When we would call and ask about the hold up, they would have us run around in circles without telling us anything. Its Day 5 and they still have not given us any information, nothing. We then moved to a different doctor.Overall, their employees do not care, their doctors do not care, nobody at Foothill CARES about you. They only care about their money. There is a reason why they have such a horrible rating- its simple, they are a garbage organization. Please do not go here, you will definitely get hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray, run amuck and flat out deceived.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I brought in my prescriptions so they could add them to my record as a new patient. I got them refilled but they added a new drug to my prescriptions without actually telling me what it is or why! When I called I couldnt get a hold of my doc (Jessica Wilkenson) so I asked for her supervisor who outright lied to me about the drug being a generic brand of what I normally take. I talked to CVS and another doctor at another clinic about it and they said no, it was a completely different drug! This could have been dangerous had I not caught their error! I could never get ahold of Jessica to find out why they prescribed me it (I take it was an error by their incompetent staff) and they never returned my calls. I told them I will be dropping them as a provider. Then I got a letter in the mail (certified) saying that they will no longer service me or my family! I had already told them I didnt want them as a provider, I think the ONLY reason they sent this letter is out of spite and to try to dominate their patients with a threatening looking letter. HOW COMPLETELY CHILDISH. I have heard of others having the same experience and told they no longer can go to this clinic for the CLINICS ERRORS! Their front-desk staff is comprised of rude blondes who have absolutely no people-skills. I reported them to the licensing division in UT and one other agency and hopefully that showed them I dont play around when it comes to their pretentious garbage clinic!

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUEI was a brand new patient going in for an annual checkup which was supposed to be 100% covered under my insurance.The appointment was routine; at the end the doctor (Dr. Sean D. Peterson) asked if I had questions about anything. I told him that my knee made a clicking sound and he explained it was some benign condition and recommended some over the counter products if it became a bother.I received a bill in the mail with two charges: one for being a new patient and one for an outpatient visit. Thinking this is a mistake, I called my insurance company who looped in the billing department of Foothill Family Clinic who attempted to justify this by saying I had gone into the office because of chronic knee pain. I explained everything above but they refused to waive the fraudulent, unbundled fee. They suggested writing a letter to the office to waive the fee but I have read too many reviews from people who also were fraudulently charged that writing a letter is futile, as it is ignored and they will serve court papers if their fraudulent fees are not paid.DO NOT SET FOOT INTO THIS DEN OF FRAUDULENT VIPERS

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am always on hold on the phone, the clinic never answers and I get connected with other offices who cannot help. They never update their records. My pharmacy keeps calling when they need to refill a prescription and they never answer. I decided today to change doctor, I cannot keep having these issues. I should have looked at their bad rating before.

They would have gotten 5 stars for how quickly they were able to get me in for a covid test and how quick they were to call me with negative result. However when it came to needing a report I was told to come in so they could print it. No big deal I jumped in car and headed over. From the second I walked in .. the front desk lady was so put out and rude. That I cant give them 5 for Dr coleman. Get your front desk ladies in check!

Dr Wilkinson is the best doctor I’ve ever had, but the clinic itself has some issues. My sister got falsely diagnosed with a thyroid issue and had to come back in with another appointment only to find out they had diagnosed the wrong patient. Thought this was a one off situation until I got a call falsely diagnosing me with COVID when I’d never been tested. Took a while to convince her that she had the wrong patient... the people at the front desk can also be a bit rude, but they seriously need to fix their issue with falsely diagnosing people. It simply shouldn’t happen. Would give one star except Dr. Wilkinson is seriously the best!

I was given the wrong address for my appointment, then on my arrival was told I was in the wrong place (whatever it could happen to anyone), and was given the phone number for a sushi place to call and let them know.Maybe join literally every other business in the 21st century and send a confirmation email/text with the correct address/time/doctor etc a few days before. And get some damn business cards.

Similar to everyone else, this place has lax doctors that get away with prescribing drugs much easier then other clinics, like the U of U. I only went here because they were the only ones with such easy and frankly lacking guidelines to get a drug I needed. The doctors have no idea what theyre talking about, and when I confronted dr atkins about a false positive he told me it was literally impossible. Yet I went to another clinic and they confirmed it to be very possible and even retest me with a positive. Obviously I moved doctors, and then told foothill I left them so they sent me a letter saying that me or my family are never allowed back again. What a complete joke, go elsewhere. They have poor reviews for a reason

I just called to try to set up and appointment to get tested for Covid. The woman who initially answered my call was very sweet but then I got transferred to a girl named Hailey who was extremely patronizing and rude. I was trying to explain my insurance situation to her and she kept repeating over and over “you’re gonna be self pay” in an extremely annoyed and mean tone. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to about billing and she again said “you’re gonna be self pay!”. I asked to speak to someone else and she hung up on me. I don’t know that I’ve ever had someone be this rude over the phone to me in my life. I’m honestly in shock. If this is the kind of person they have in place to deal with sick Covid patients then I want nothing to do with this clinic.

Dr. Azarcon didnt let me explain my medical history. He heard me cough and prescribed 2 medications that didnt work, then another 2 medications that didnt work. Hes guessing and checking with my health on the line.Additionally, when I tried to contact him to send me a referral to a pulmonologist so I could see someone competent, it took me 6 phone calls over 3 days just to contact someone. None of the 5 voicemails I left were responded to. The 6th time, someone answered and said they would talk to him about it and call me back. Nobody ever did.I dont know how this place is even in business. The two words Id use to describe them are incompetent and negligent.

Appointment at 10 asked to be 10 minutes early for paperwork. I was here got that done, waited 15+ in waiting room and now its 10:42 and I am writing this... no doctor yet. Facility is nice I gave a star for that. Giving a one star hope he is good for a total two stars. I value my schedule and I expect reciprocation from vendors.

I liked couple of doctors I saw there, but it seems like I always have a hard time getting through the receptionist at this clinic. It happened several times and I was also put on hold for 15 min just wanting to change my appointment. They also advertise that they open until 8pm but when I finally got hold of the receptionist, I was told very rudely that the last appointment they take is always 4:15pm...

Doctor was great, personable and friendly. However, I didnt feel the this office was very forth coming with charges for services rendered. Cost me almost $200 for 15 minutes with a physician. Treatment options were presented, however, I was not informed that the options all came with varying costs.I called the office to request an itemization of charges and after many, many weeks finally talked to someone in billing who knew what they were doing. After a long conversation I paid the new patient visit but disputed the additional charge for treatment. Treatment was presented and administered but I assumed it was included in the cost of the office visit as I was never informed treatment was an additional cost. I can afford to pay the treatment cost, but out of principle I requested the charge waived. I was told to mail in a handwritten dispute letter, which I did, but never received a response. Not a letter, not a phone call, nothing. I find it ironic that I continue to receive billing notices yet I receive no communication regarding my dispute. I will not go back to this office, nor would I ever recommend them to any friends or family.

Get me in and out quick and answer all my questions. I highly recommend this clinic. Yes they get busy, yes the phones may not be picked up right away. I needed help with a neck injury and this clinic was on my insurances provider list.I had never been here before, but I can tell you that I am absolutely thrilled with the care I received.Dr. Joseph Adkin is amazing. He carefully reviewed my x-rays and we discussed in depth how I was injured. He listened to my concerns and was open-minded when it came to my needs as far as my home and work responsibilities go.I will be using Foothill Family Clinic for all my familys needs from now on.

Dr. Sean Peterson is the most caring doctor I have been to. He doesnt rush you through your appointment. He takes time to listen to what you have to say. Dr. Peterson has wonderful follow up as well. I would recommend him above any physician I have ever been to.

I am very unhappy with my experience at Family Foothill Clinic. I saw their sports medicine doctor, Dr. Joseph Atkins. He gave me an injection in my arm. I was self-pay. He decided he needed to use an ultrasound machine to do this. He charged me $800. A year prior, I went to a different doctors office here in Draper and they just gave me the injection without the ultrasound machine. They charged me $150. The result for both was the same. Talking with other doctors, you really only need to use the ultrasound machine if the pain is in a joint... which mine wasnt.I called the billing department and complained. They were of no help. I wasnt allowed to even speak to the doctor which I thought was crazy. Everything was behind closed doors and I felt like my concerns were completely ignored. Dr. Atkins runs his clinic for mass money making minus integrity. He will use whatever he can to be able to bill you for more money even when not needed. He is completely dismissive if you have any questions. I recommend going to a different doctor and maybe even a different clinic. I cannot express enough how upset and disappointed I am by the entire experience.

I consistently had to call them to get my medication fixed and though the nurses were kind, the doctors are really hit and miss here.I finally snapped at them for messing up with my medication for the sixth time in a row and they decided to kick me out the system without explanation. I worked with Dr. Atkins and he was incredibly kind and helpful. Also, his staff had to field several calls from me as we worked out an issue with my prescription and insurance. Even when I started to get frustrated, his office was so patient and understanding - and fixed the prescription issue. I definitely recommend this clinic.

Stay away!!! This clinic deals in bad faith and they are greedy. The clinic sent a VERY high invoice for a quick first time consult with Dr. Azarcon. I asked them to send a breakdown of the charges on the invoice ($170). Their office staff said they would send that to me, but they NEVER sent it. Instead they sent the invoice to Bonneville Collections and tacked on another $60. We told them we would not pay the additional collection agency fees. I said I would pay the original amount as soon as they provided the breakdown. Again, they did not provide what I asked for. Then, one day as I was pulling up to my home, there was a car blocking my driveway. It was a guy there to serve me! They slapped me with a law suit indicating that with legal fees I now owed a new total over $550!! My husband was irate. I was exasperated and frustrated. I couldnt be away from home for a day in court so I ended up making a deal to pay about $400.To boot, I was pregnant at the time I had my visit with the doctor. I needed an antibiotic and I told the doctor several times during the visit that I was pregnant and that I needed something safe for my me and my fetus. However, I had a hard time communicating with the doctor. I wasnt sure that he had understood me or that he had listened to me. When I got to the pharmacy to fulfill the prescription I double-checked with the pharmacist to make sure it was safe. The pharmacist told me that that particular antibiotic was NOT something he would recommend for a pregnant woman. So I had to call the doctor and have the prescription changed. Who knows what might have happened if I had not checked with the pharmacist...

The new Draper Foothill location is amazing. The front desk staff is really friendly and greets patients as soon as they come in the door. Ive been a patient with Foothill Family since I was a child, and out of all the clinics I have gone to in Utah (whether urgent care or trying to decide if I wanted to find something closer to my home) Foothill is still my go to place and worth the drive.

This is the first negative review Ive ever written in my life. I typically think negative reviews are vindictive and not very productive. But I feel like I need to warn people, especially my friends in Draper, about my experience with Foothill Family Clinic in Draper.I called and identified myself as a new patient without a primary care physician and told them I needed a physical exam.In particular with my labs, I told them I needed my GGT levels tested. I had recently had applied for life insurance and the tests were all in normal range, except for the GGT level was randomly high. Apparently a higher GGT level is an indicator of alcohol use. I dont drink alcohol and wanted to get retested and get a 2nd opinion.The woman at the front desk confirmed that they could definitely do that for me and scheduled an appointment for me about 10 days later with Dr. Azarcon. I was told to come in a few days beforehand to get the labs done and to make sure to fast beforehand.Perfect.That brings us to today. I showed up to get my lab work done and when I asked them to verify that they were going to test my GGT levels, they looked at the paperwork and said no, it wasnt in the orders. I explained to them exactly what I stated above. She said she was sorry but there was nothing they could do, they could only do the tests that had been ordered by Dr. Azarcon. This despite the fact that I had called and made the request for a GGT test in particular and they told me they could definitely do it.Im an easy going guy and I understand that mistakes are made and Im OK with that, but what happened next was completely unacceptable and is the entire purpose of my review.I made the suggestion that perhaps they could text or call Dr. Azarcon and ask him to add it to the order. A reasonable request given it was their mistake I was asking them to rectify and it was the whole point of me making the appointment. When I made this suggestion, the woman who was working at the front desk of the lab rolled her eyes and laughed in my face. She literally laughed in my face and said that Dr. Azarcon couldnt be bothered on his day off. SHE DIDNT SAY Im really sorry, Id like to do that but weve been told not to text or call staff on their days off. I would have been OK with that type of response but this woman had the audacity to condescendingly laugh in a paying customers face. Yes. That really happened today on December 5th, 2019 at approximately 4PM. Unreal.I wasnt asking to have dinner with the man or asking him to come in on his day off. I was asking for her to send him a quick text so that I could get the particular test done that I had requested and been told they could provide 10 days earlier.I then asked if it would be possible to have another Dr. who was on premise make the order and Id cancel with Dr. Azarcon and see that individual instead later when they had an open appt. The particular Dr. didnt matter to me, I just wanted to get the labs done and then analyzed by a professional. As stated above, I was a new patient and had no allegiance or preference to any of their physicians.They denied that request and said that it was against policy and that despite the fact that Id never met Dr. Azarcon in my life, he would have tobe the one to change the orders. What? Why?At this point it doesnt matter, Ill obviously be seeking medical advice and treatment elsewhere.Im a resident of the great city of Draper and Im proud to live in this city and Im proud of the pro-business climate we have here. I always try to support local businesses. That being said, if this is how Foothill Family Clinic treats their customers, itd be better if theyd close up shop and get out of town.Bottom line: With so many clinics and physicians in Salt Lake & Utah Counties, Id think long and hard before giving any money to this operation.

Avoid Foothill at all cost! Theyre the worst. Billing department is terrible, they just are out for money and it looks like Im not alone from all the other reviews. They billed the wrong insurance and wouldnt do anything about it and sent me the bill. Worst practice to deal with. I liked Dr Atkin for the most part but I wont refer anyone there any longer. Super disappointing.

We just moved here from Florida back in October, and I have to say I am very particular with providers being in the medical field so long. I look at reviews, medical experience and expertise in certain areas. Just brought my husband into the clinic to see Dr. Peterson, and I can’t explain how thorough this professional is and very very caring of your questions, and concerns from previous medical treatment. He greets you with kindness, and treats the entire family like his own. My doctor is dr azarcan, and he is amazing with my son too even though he’s not a patient here !!! Lol. Love the girls here especially Nicole she is an amazing nurse!!

Very happy with Dr. Atkin, first Dr. Ive had in 15 years. Was looking for a Dr. that is physically active and my age (early 40s) so wed be on the same page as to what my goals are. I have not had much interaction with the billing dept. so I cannot comment on that, but again, very happy with Dr. Atkin.

Thank God for Dr. Sean PetersonI have suffered with out health insurance for the last two years and the dr here was completely okay with putting me in a incredibly dangerous situation. I wouldnt ever go here if you want real help from real dr dont waste your time. Anti depressants killed my best friend causing him to commit suicide. Dr Coleman refuses to prescribe anything else.

I am in shock I had a bill of $380 I was trying to work things out with the lady in the billing department. I told her that they had cut my hours at work and I was barely getting by. I did not make a payment as I said that I would so that is clearly on me. I have been having problems with my hands so my PCP sent me to a orthopedic surgeon. I had to have tendons cut due to trigger finger. Something went wrong with my hand it has been draining fluid out of my hand so I went back to the surgeon they recommended surgery to drain the fluid build up in my wrist. When they went to my insurance to get approval the insurance denied it because Foothill pulled my referral . I went to talk to the doctor and was directed to the cold hearted billing lady. They said my bill was now $900 and went to collections. I was discharged from the clinic with no letter referring to that. I was supposed to have sugary tomorrow but I had to run all over to find a doctor who would give me a referral because United Healthcare would not approve the without a referral. When I finally went to the emergency room for a referral the emergency room doctor was disgusted with Foothill. She gave me a referral so now I have to figure out why my bill went up so high and deal with a collection agency. From all the bad reviews I have read here it looks to me like they have a pattern for charging people for things that arent necessary. I will be looking into this further that is for sure.

They always have the best physicians and they are willing to help with whatever you need and if they cant help you they will find someone who can. They are also the best nurses and secretaries ever. Their bedside manner is top noch and I wouldnt want to be with any other doctors and nurses.

Dr Sean Petersen is a nice guy however he often forgets to send in perscriptions and lacks the confidence of a professional, and is often unsure of his answers to medical questions.The very very worst part is the front Officeー Corprate girl Nicole! I spoke to her about a (non filled) prescription, after calling for three days and no follow up, She was rude, found it difficult to listen, easy to lie, and questioned my integrity!I guess the words Corprate and doctor sum it!

I tore a muscle powerlifting, and wanted to see Dr. Atkin because of his background in sports medicine and because my dad recommended him. I called to schedule an appointment, and the lady that took my call acted bothered by me. She just told me they “aren’t accepting new patients for pain” and told me to call my insurance to find somebody else. So Dr. Atkin specializes in sports medicine, but won’t help me with my sports injury? Furthermore, I’ve read plenty of reviews in which people say they came to Dr. Atkin for the first time with an injury.

I dont know what to say about the negative reviews. I can only comment on Dr. Atkin, his staff, and the front desk staff. Never had a problem with the front desk staff, always struck me as genuinely friendly. Dr. Atkins has one nurse in particular that takes you back to your exam room who I like a lot. Dr. Atkins himself is someone I would hang out with in my personal life, pretty awesome guy tbh. As a doc. he has treated me for medical problems that no other doctor could solve but he did. No joke, had one problem in particular that Id dealt with since I was 16 and he did a little research on it and had it taken care of within 3 months after Id dealt with it for over 20 years and gotten numerous opinions on from other docs. Cant recommend him enough.

The office staff is unprofessional and borderline unethical. Our daughter had a traumatic experience with the MA’s while getting shots. Not only could they not answer my questions on what they were giving her, they were rude and annoyed that I asked. They then proceeded to stab my 2 year old with unnecessary force, no communication and aggression. I had to have multiple meetings with both my doctor and office manger who agree it was unprofessional and not how they like to handle children, but could not do anything to right the situation. My daughter is now incredibly fearful of any doctors experience. It’s heartbreaking.

I took my mother for an annual free visit covered by insurance to see Dr. Jose. However, the clinic refused to bill it as annual visit and made as pay hundreds of dollar despite having insurance. Ladies in the billing department are the most insensitivity & hateful. Avoid this clinic, they are just want to rip you off.

Had a missed call from them so I called back since they left a voicemail about a study. The girl that answered the phone on 1/22/19 at 4pm was so rude!! First, I couldnt tell what she was saying so she had to repeat herself twice. Instead of still speaking nicely she raised her voice with FOOTHILL. FAMILY. CLINIC! I said, Oh ok.... Im sorry, you called me? She just responds so snooty with Prolly a mis-dial then. I replied, Ok, you should probably work on being more nice (she hangs up) on the phone. WOW!!! My relationship with this clinic began well. I would have recommended it any given day. However, much changed. A visit last September yielded my first bad visit. The only available doctor on the schedule diagnosed me with Pneumonia and a sinus infection. He prescribed antibiotics. Which would have been appropriate if I had either of these problems. The diagnosis and behavior of the doctor, hostile and patronizing, made me question the professionalism of this clinic.This was confirmed today when I went in for a lost voice. The nurses considerate and kind offered to only ask yes or no question helped me relax. However, when Dr. Atkin entered it became something very different. With a smirk he began to ask questions that required long answers. I tried writing out my answers at first but then of course this became frustrating for us all. Then without any examination he prescribes steroids. To which I replied, “Not until you look at my throat.” He didn’t get past my tonsils before he starts conversing with his student about the sizing of tonsils. Neither even looked at my vocal cords. They turned to leave saying he was going to call in a prescription. I told him he could do what he wants but if anything he should take a cue from his nurse.All this may seem irrelevant but there are always two sides to every story. This doctor was being a dick. I was getting pissed. Still this doesn’t change the fact that whatever these doctors are practicing it is not medicine. I cannot in good conscience recommend this clinic or its doctors.By the way, turns out he prescribed Prednisone. A particular steroid, I later learned, that is a harsh drug that should not be used lightly. If I had taken it would have harmed my vocal cords and inflicted my body with serious side effects. Instead hot tea with honey and warm compresses, a prescription offered by a nurse friend, has improved my voice in one day. To think what would have happened if I had taken the doctor’s advice.

Very bad experience , horrible staff & nurses.I was given depo shot & every time I call to share my worst symptomsA) Nurse never calls back on timeB) When get a call she says its normal and check google on how others have same experience, excuse me IF I HAD TO use GOOGLE why are you a NURSE ?Today my shot was due , after 15 minutes wait I get another nurse to give my shot because Dr Atkins nurse was busy & when I asked can I know when is my next shot due ? she says oh I am just here to give you shot will call the NURSE to provide answers , after 10 minutes wait she comes back again saying did she forget about you ? then she goes and brings my due date for shot .Ive never experienced SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL medical UNIT .I asked for water to the front desk she says we dont have WATER bottles use tap water I said can I get glass ? she is like yeah after line is cleared until I stepped out of clinic after takign SHOT was never given a glass .They love dis-respecting & showing attitudes to there patients , HELLO youre NOT THE ONLY CLINIC OR DOCTOR in this entire world . From todays visit Ive decided TO NOT GO HERE AGAIN ! WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE TO THINK I WAS GOING TO MEDICAL CLINIC ughh !

I have never been disrespected more in my life by a doctor and his staff. I herniated a disc over two weeks ago and have been unable to walk. Dr Atkins and his secretary have done absolutely nothing to help me, and I feel like I am a burden on them just by asking for a referral or any kind of pain meds. I even went to another doctor and he said that Dr Atkins was very “stingy” in what he gave me given the pain I am in. Keep in mind this is all after Dr Atkins told me I HAVE to get an MRI to see what kind of injection I need. That cost me $570 out of pocket. Then when Atkins got my MRI results all he did is told me I need the injection (which we already knew) and sent me somewhere else to get it.Later when I got my injection, Dr David Petron diagnosed me with spondylolisthesis, which you can see with a CT scan. When I originally went to Dr Atkins, I had already had a CT scan with me, he just refused to look at it!! He claimed he HAD to see the MRI. If he would have just done his job and looked at the CT scan he would have seen my spondylolisthesis and I would have saved many doctor visits.Atkins is all in it for the money. He is not helpful at all whatsoever. Do not go to him.

I want to start my review by saying this one star is directed at the office staff and how this location is ran in general. We currently visit Dr. Azarcon at this location and he is AMAZING. We can only hope that he practices elsewhere so we can continue with his care without having to deal with the office staff at this location.We brought our daughter in to get her up to date on her immunizations. The office needed to request her records from our previous doctor in California and would then contact us with an update on what she needed. (We later found out they received the records that same day.) A week goes by, no call. After a week and a half my wife calls twice a week for the next 3 weeks requesting the information always getting a well call you right back to setup the appointment after we review her record.A month later... never a call back.Finally we call one last time and they tell us to just walk in and they can give the shots.We walk in, the place is dead at 12:30 on a Wednesday but we still wait 40mins. When the nurse brings us back, she is rude, disinterested and has zero interaction with our toddler who shes about to stick with 5 needles... in the room, she cant answer our questions about certain vaccinations shes administering, what they do or what they actually cover.Against our better judgement we proceed and she asks me to hold my daughters arms and legs, shes almost 2, and then proceeds to rapid fire 5 needles into her legs, once again, with zero interaction with the child. Needless to say it was a frightening/possibly traumatic experience for a child that young. After the last shot, and some rough bandaid work, the nurses say ok! And leave the room... no followup care instructions... no this reaction is normal, if you see these signs, call us. Just... ok! And they leave.We sit there stunned... with a hysterical toddler... and we walk out.Luckily, my wife stormed back in, bypassed reception, found Dr. Azarcons personal office and was able to have a good conversation with him about what we had just experienced and we were able to find that these werent his staff but the office staff who are oversaw by the office manager.Overall, we will not be returning to this office anytime soon nor will be recommending it ever. Zero follow through, terrible non-existent communication and zero regard/respect for patients and their values.Once again, we love Dr. Azarcon and cannot recommend him highly enough. Hopefully we can visit him at a different location with higher standards for their office staff.

I actually see Dr. Peter Fenton at Utah Gastroenterology, they just moved into this complex. Hes been my Dr for over 15 years. He truly cares for his patients and they respect and treat you like people, not just a number. I have nothing negative to say about Dr Fenton. He is an amazing physician!
