I had major restorative work done by Dr. Dallas when he was in Austin and I could not be happier with the results! It was absolutely life changing! Dr. Dallas prioritizes patient comfort and explains every step of the process along the way. Every other dentist I consulted with recommended that I pull all my teeth and get implants or dentures Dr. Dallas was able to save the teeth I have and restore a natural smile. I had not smiled for years before treatment but now I cant stop! I would highly recommend him for any work big or small!

I absolutely love Dr. Pessoa and his team! He made what seemed impossible, possible! My case was very difficult and one that many other dentists turned down. Im 23 years old and I have 9 genetically missing permanent teeth. The only noticeable ones are the 3 missing teeth in the front of my smile next to my two front teeth. Ive always worn a retainer that had fake plastic teeth on it and its something Ive always been insecure about. Many other dentists told me that getting implants was not an option for my mouth. However, I found Dr. Pessoa and he made all of my dreams come true. Dr. Pessoa knew that my mouth wasnt an easy case but he was confident that he could give me what I wanted - a beautiful smile with implants that matched my other teeth perfectly so that no one could detect I had implants. To even hear that implants were a possibility for me filled me with joy and the results are better than I could have ever imagined! Really SO happy with everything about Draper Smiles. I never grew adult eye teeth and have been experiencing issues with my baby teeth for the last 12 years. I have been researching dentists for the past 6 years trying to find a place I feel completely comfortable with, but I’ve never found it until now!Of greatest importance to me was that Dr. Pessoa and Dr. Hanson took time to meet with me and get a perfect understanding of what I needed and wanted to repair about my bite and smile. I got two tooth implants here and had a really great experience. The whole staff was awesome and Dr. Pessoa did great work.Its been 4 or 5 years since I got the work done and everythings been great.Im writing this because I just got done with a cleaning and my new dentist commented on how great my implants look and how the shape of them is very close to real teeth which is apparently very difficult to do.Would highly recommend for implants!

Invisalign straightened my teeth, Dr Pessoa made them look great afterward. The bonding and cosmetic work is what makes all the difference. Seriously I am amazed at what he was able to do. And I can still use whitening. The staff and receptionist are all very friendly, next-level service here!

Dr. Pessoa is phenomenal! Ive had extensive dental work in the past with a continuous history of crowns breaking and popping off. Dr. Pessoa took the time to ask me many questions to ensure that he understood all my concerns, what might have caused past problems, what my smile goals were and what was in-bounds/out-of-bounds in terms of treatment. Due to work, I have relocated many times resulting in my cycling through MANY dentists. This was my BEST experience of all and I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Pessoa! Dr. Pessoa did an amazing job on some cosmetic dentistry that I needed after removal of my adult braces. I received dental bonding on two front teeth as well as gum contouring and I couldnt be more pleased with the results. My teeth are gorgeous! Draper Smiles is the best dental clinic in The Valley!! So good that I commuted from Layton (1 hour drive!) Dr Pessoa and the front office girls (Blair and Chelsey) made me so comfortable from the get go! I chose this dentist because after being told I would need porcelain veneers on my perfectly healthy teeth from 4-5 other practices, I was informed by Dr Pessoa I could achieve perfect results, without compromising my own tooth structure! AMAZING. Just want I wanted! We started with Invisalign and then I ended up getting composite bonding done when my Invisalign was complete! My each Invisalign tray was only worn for 3-5 days because of an extra step dr Pessoa implements in the beginning so it was fast and effective!! My end results were unreal and my already healthy teeth are now healthy AND perfect!!! I loved the entire staff, 10/10 recommend! I’ll be bringing my 3 year old in for his cleanings, and our family won’t be going anywhere else!!! They care about their patients, not just their teeth.

I have been going to this office since 2012 and I have had fantastic service every time. Dr. Pessoa and his staff are perfectionists and it really shows in all the work that they have done. When I first went to the clinic, it had been a few years since I had seen a dentist. Needless to say I had a substantial amount of build up on my teeth. Tina really took the extra time to give me a very thorough cleaning, even though I am sure that took me far over the time spot I was booked for.Dr. Pessoa will never tell you, you need work that you dont need. He is genuinely looking out for my health and not trying to line his pockets with unnecessary procedures.I was getting married and for a wedding gift, Dr. Pessoa gave me a $35 Target gift card for my wedding. I was blown away, I never would have expected anything like that, let alone for that amount. Seriously, talk about shattering any high expectations I already had of this office.My insurance company is not in network with Dr. Pessoa, but that does not matter to me. I have no problem paying a bit more to have the privilege of being a patient at this office.I have to mention the staff as well. Jo at the front is incredibly friendly and took great care of my 3 year old daughter while I was in the back getting cleaned. Tracy is phenomenal, and has gone to bat for me when my insurance was giving me trouble. I can tell you for that alone Dr. Pessoa has a patient in me and my family for life.

I recently had composite veneers on my two front teeth done at Draper smiles. I’ve had composites done 3 times before on the same teeth and this was far and away the best craftsmanship. I couldn’t be happier with the results. My wife, who has been in the dental industry for 20 years, and worked for over 30 dentists mostly in Minnesota, wont let our family go to anyone but the best. We recently moved to Utah and finding a dentist was the last thing on our minds. However, when my wife broke her tooth during the Christmas holidays it suddenly became the priority. Draper Smiles (along with others) was highly recommended. Of course we did our online research, called everyone who had been recommended, and called a few dentist just because it was an emergency and they were in our Dental Plan. Dr Pessoa was the ONLY dentist that called us back. My wifes broken molar was fixed without trouble and her office visit experience was amazing.A couple of weeks later, I took my teens in for a check-up and a cleaning. They had a wonderful experience. The staff even managed to fit my upcoming appointment in while my family was there so I didnt have to come back.No more need for research. We have found our new dentist.

To start, I got direct composite veneers on my top ten teeth. I searched for over two years in Utah county and Salt Lake county for a dentist that specialized in cosmetic work that I knew I could trust. When I started getting in my head about the basic veneer procedure I thought I was giving up on my journey. You know that part when they have to shave half your natural tooth away and replace it with porcelain? With my dental history, tampering with my natural tooth structure was a deal breaker. I’ve already had 3 root canals and about a million other cavities and tooth sensitivities. Don’t worry, I’m obsessed with flossing and I’ve always had a great dental routine. Anyways, I read the reviews online for Draper Smiles and thought I’d give it a final shot. Dr. Hanson uses a mind blowing technique for direct composite veneers, it’s non invasive - no drilling, grinding, or shaving. It was a miracle. This also cost less than normal porcelain veneers too. It’s been a little over a month since I got my veneers done and it’s a whole new world! It’s crazy how much I didn’t smile before this and how I’ve had to relearn how to smile and show off my new grill! This journey has meant soo much to me for years, and it’s finally happened! I can’t thank Dr Hanson and his lovely team enough! I am also continuing my regular dental visits with Dr. Hanson because I trust this team and they truly make you feel a part of their family!

I found Draper Smiles and Dr. Pessoa on google, and he took my insurance so I figured Id give him a try. I have never had such a great experience at a dentist! Dr Pessoa is the best dentist in Utah!!! I went to him because an Orthodontist in Provo did a VERY BAD orthodontist job and I ended up losing my 4 lower front teeth.My top 4 teeth were also in very delicate condition because of the bad orthodontic work and ended up being somewhat flared. No other dentist wanted to fix them because of how delicate they were. They feared they would make things worse and eventually make me lose those top 4 teeth as well.I went to like 10 dentists and surgeons to get quotes and their input on what they could do to fix my situation and I finally chose Dr Pessoa to do the job because he took the time to sit down with me to explain the risks, the possible solutions, and every single thing I wanted to know. He didn’t seem arrogant like other doctors who only wanted money or who only wanted to do a cheap quick fix. Dr Pessoa actually gave me options and always said he would do his best to fix this mess.I went to him for a couple of visits during a 1 year period and always received great care from him and his Staff. He went above and beyond what I expected. Some things didn’t work out as expected, but it wasn’t because of what he did. It was just because of how extensive the damage was and how my body healed. But he always tried to look for the next best solution to give me the best results.He did a bone graft, gum graft, and 2 implants on my bottom area with a bridge in between. And straightened my top teeth slightly so that the flaring was not so visible.And the price... well, he charged a reasonable amount for the work he did and was even very flexible with the payment!!! Other doctors were charging the same, but He was more caring and took more personal time with me than the other doctors would have taken.Can’t thank him enough!If you are looking for a caring dentist or even for other more advanced work like gum grafts, bone grafts or implants, then you won’t regret going with Dr Pessoa. He will go above and beyond what he promises. And if things don’t go as planned, just let him know and he will fix it. He is not happy until you are happy!!!Thank you Dr Pessoa and Staff!!!

Dr. Pessoa, and his team are awesome. My family and I have been going there for 3 years and I recommend them completely.1) Dr. Pessoa is very skilled and takes the time to talk to me and address my questions, concerns and discuss with me about my options. Like everything in life there are multiple options. Dr. Pessoa tells me what he recommends and why but lets me make the choice.2) Dr. Pessoa has the best equipment. All of his x-rays are digital, and I like the inter-oral camera so that he can show me what he is talking about.3) The office and hygienist staff are a pleasure to work with to schedule appointments and help me look up my insurance u0026 Flex cards which I always forget. Everyone is also very good with my kids.THE ONLY PROBLEM with Draper smiles is that it is less than 3 blocks away from Little dutch boys bakery a cookie factory.... which I often eat to many of. Good thing I have a good dentist!

Dr. Pessoa is the best dentist Ive ever had. Not only does he do a perfectionists job, the experience is always comfortable, and time efficient. I had a root canal once, and once the numbing medication wore off, I was not even in pain. I cannot say the same thing for other dentists.He even called from his home phone number to make sure everything was ok. He has done this on multiple occasions after procedures.Probably the most important thing that I have discovered is that I can trust him with what he does. With other medical professionals, Ive found it hard to find a good opinion, or be able to trust what they are saying without getting a second opinion. I trust Dr. Pessoa to tell me all of my options, and know that he is practicing honestly, and efficiently.His assistants and dental hygienist are fantastic and friendly and always make you feel so comfortable too. Even the admin are friendly and informative. I never feel like I leave the office with a question unanswered, or uneasy.Their office is newly renovated and a really nice, up to date space. And dont forget to check out the before and after photo book on the entry table. He has done some major teeth reconstruction, and their smiles look absolutely beautiful! Its amazing!

Composite bonding veneers! Such a great experience! We were saving our money for regular veneers when we decided to do a little more research and found Doctor Pessoa and composite bonding veneers. Composite veneers are not not the same as typical expensive veneers. Composite Bonding Veneers are not permanently damaging to the tooth. They can reshape or remove the bonding later. (But really why would you want that after getting a beautiful smile?) The tooth enamel is preserved, not ground down to a stump or damaging ridges in the enamel like regular expensive veneers. My teeth were somewhat crooked and also a little small and also had a permanent white calcium stain. Braces would not fix those 2 problems. We traveled from out of state for the procedure and it was worth the couple of drives to Utah. I would do it all over again. I was so impressed with Dr. Pessoa! Hes a very gentle dentist, but hes also part artist. Which he needs to be for this procedure. I would not trust just any old dentist to do this procedure. His high standard of perfection resulted in this beautiful smile. 10 stars!

Overall experience was great. Wonderful to see Tina back (I call her No Pain Tina ). Cathy and I were in and out in a flash. Also, Dr. Peso was his usual good self.Well have a tough time finding anyone as good in our new home. I wish this office and staff the best.

Ive been seeing Dr. Pessoa for a number of years. He has always taken care of me. One time I was scared to death about getting a tooth extraction. Dr. Pessoa took extra time with me to settle my nerves. I went through with it, and it turned out great. I did have some bleeding afterwards, but that was taken care of when I started flossing again. The staff let me know what to do, and it worked.

This was my best experience at a dentist office ever. I truly dislike going to the dentist, but now I do think dread it since everyone here is so friendly and comforting. I know I am in good hands and the customer service is awesome! The employees are so nice and welcoming you almost dont want to leave so you can stay and chat. I highly recommend going here!

Dr. Pessoa is amazing. Hes fixed a lot of the previous work that done by other dentists. I get straight up anxious going to the dentist, but Dr. Pessoa and his staff make it really comfortable. They always inform me of options and advise me on the long term effects.

Dr. Pessoa is a very meticulous person, which I love. To say that he is a perfectionist would be an understatement. He is a former collegiate national champion volleyball player, who went on to graduate from one of the top dentistry schools in the country at the top of his class. None of this was a surprise to me. He has taken great care of my family. He has helped alleviate pain my wife was having in multiple teeth, caused by poor fillings of another dentist in the draper area. He also has performed a gingivectomy and replaced bonding on my front teeth that I had for 15 years and was getting discolored. The thing that I liked about the process is that he took multiple pictures and a mold of my smile before I choose to do anything. He then got to work in photoshop and created multiple different looks that I could choose from. He gave me all the options between veneers, veneers + bonding, or just minimal bonding. He never pressured me to do any of it. He let me choose what I wanted and he was more than happy to do it. I now love my new smile. I have recommended Dr. Pessoa to many people that I know personally. He really is the best dentist I have been to in Utah (Ive been to four dentists in the last 8 years). If you are unhappy with your dentist, you should call Draper Smiles. :)

This was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. I was in a rush to get my teeth whitened and had called several other dentists that day, getting mostly voicemails or unavailability for weeks! When I called Draper Smiles, Dr. Pessoa answered the phone himself (over the lunch hour) and helped me book my appointment. They emailed me the new patient documents and texted me a reminder the day of so everything was super organized. On the day of my appointment they were quick to see me and got me in and out in no time. I have bounced around between dentists for years, but Ive now found the one to stick with.

Everyone here is very nice but Dr. Espenoza really hurt my smile. I came in with some crowns another dentist had made that were very round on the side and looked like those wedding mints. I asked him to shave the sides down. It was very nice of him to adjust them since it was not his work...but....he did nothing to the sides when I clearly said SIDES and made them super shorter. I could not tell this is what he was doing. So, when I said trim the sides down to make them flat, he made my back four teeth SHORTER. Significantly shorter. This was years ago. Now, I had all my teeth redone by a different dentist and my back teeth are still super short....because of the mold of my teeth....so now I have a staircase smile because this guy could not understand the difference between side and bottom. A five year old could. It has effected me forever.

I moved here recently and had a crown from a front bridge crack and come loose.This happen on a Saturday afternoon and I called ten Dentists. Dr. Pessoa called me immediately after leaving my message. I made an appointment first thing Monday morning. He replaced my bridge and a couple other crowns and wow I am so happy with the results. Dr. Pessoa and staff is so accommodating I recommend them to all of my friends. By the way no other Dentist called me until Monday.

Dr. Pessoa doesnt elevate himself above his patients and staff. Hes an enjoyable personality, with a humble, gregarious demeanor. He takes the time to consult and answer questions thoroughly. Even more importantly, the quality of his work is second to none. As stated in other reviews, he is a perfectionist who obviously takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares about giving his patients optimal results.

I live in Logan and my grandparents gave me a Zoom whitening session for Christmas last year. I absolutely loved it so much that I came back to get my gap fixed. Everyone is so nice and sincere. If I ever have anything Id like to have done this is the place Ill go. Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to!

Get a second opinion. I was recommended a lot of unnecessary (and expensive) dental work, Im very glad I got a second opinion. Having received a second opinion Im shocked by the treatment I was recommended here, I wouldnt ever go back.

UPDATE:They were able to work with me to get this issue resolved, it turns out I forgot about doing the cleaning previous to my appointment, thats my bad, still saw results, will be coming back once I get my cleaning done. Thanks for the prompt call/response to my review.

LOVE the online scheduling. I set three times and they were able to schedule me in. Also, the check in and check out is fast and easy! Dr. Pessoa was great as usual.
