Staff are incredibly friendly, courteous, professional and competent. Glad I switched to this location for my dental needs. I look forward to having my full smile back to a state I am completely comfortable with.

Totally disgusted today. Fired them. Patient no mask, receptionist no mask. Wasnt waiting around to see if Dr had her mask on. The last place I should have to worry is my dentist office. Questionnaire on line, sign on the door, tempt at check- in... yet still no masks allowed. Shame on you.

I was on hold for 10+ minutes, then was hung up on. Tried calling back and, surprise! The office was closed. Thanks for wasting my time. Unprofessional.

So irritated I was there more than 2 hours for 20 minutes of work. Scheduling too many patients at the same time during covid. I had to wait in a lobby full of people for an hour when I showed up 15 minutes early?! There were so many people in and out, you think precautions would be taken now more than ever with covid. No way to social distance. I even asked to reschedule!

Southside Smiles has definitely put a smile on my face they have totally transformed my teeth, while I was pregnant with my daughters I Horrible morning sickness and my teeth started to crumble, but thanks to Southside Smiles my teeth look perfect again. I still have a little more work to do, but Im super excited about how they already look so far. Thank you!!!

Office staff, hygienist and doctor are friendly; however, do not feel they truly are proactive in providing additional care for their patients outside of standard cleaning. Office was not experienced with implants and instead of recommending office that is, they failed to provide the proper care and maintenance (over 3 years) resulting in neglect, bone loss, infection which now needs additional care and costs. Also, found office was overseeing and/or misreporting record care. In discussion with office, the dentist provided no apologies or understanding in any way. Very disappointed in their care and way they handled/addressed the situation or lack thereof. As a patient, I trusted their care and expertise and they failed to provide that service for my specific situation.

This place rocks. Always willing to accommodate my time, and unique personality. Staff are caring, adaptable and confident in their abilities. Always friendly and smiling to ensure I am doing the same! Thanks for your brilliant work ladies!

Went to this office for the first time today, everyone was great! Met with the Dr., very friendly and professional. Highlight was the hygienist who cleaned my teeth, Linda. She was so happy and friendly, seemed like she really enjoyed her job and she explained everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable.

Just found this place recently upon searching for a new dentist and am very satisfied so far. You are in and out quick, everyone is nice, they are clean and professional. Ive been there 3 or 4 times now and its about as good of an experience as it can be going to the dentist.

Dr. Cory and her team are fantastic. The front desk makes every effort to be helpful and they are so kind. I love our dental team.

You deliver excellent service, instructions and make even extensive procedures smooth. I was a Dr. Westra patient and fan for ovet 40 years, you have stepped up to the plate and matched her record! Yes I would recommend you to others!

Because of a traumatic incident in a dentists office as a child, I despise having my teeth worked on! But when I absolutely must, I always go to Southside Smiles! Given that theyre a team made up mostly of women, that is ran by women, I feel safe there!

Never had a better experience, not only are they professional, kind and efficient, they have a fantastic bed side manner. Through out my appointments I was always made aware of every detail and during such procedures I am always asked with general regard for my comfortability if Im doing alright. I could not be happier with the care and attention I received at Southside Smiles. I developed a massive tooth ache while traveling through Des Moines. Knowing how difficult it is to actually get an appointment with any dentist at the last minute is a real challenge. I fell upon some great luck with Southside Smiles. Not only did they have space for me, but they where able to treat me right away. I had my tooth removed and the attention I received was incredible. They knew I would be a one time patient because I was from out of town. Yet, I was treated like a regular patient. Thank you Southside ❤️

Called to inquire about appointments, when the lady answered she was rude off the bat asked what I needed to be seen for and then proceeded to cut me off to look for appointments before I could ever tell her anything else so when I did tell her I had two other patients that needed to be seen, she seemed frustrated because she didn’t know that from the start had she not cut me off. Just didn’t get a good vibe from the phone call from the receptionist otherwise the other reviews look great.

I went here and had my lo with me. I needed work done and was in pain but they refused to do any work due to me having my lo. I dont just have a sitter I can give him to. I also got charged alot just for the xrays and no work was even done. The people in the office made it seem like it was a burden they had to hold my lo just so I could get xrays. I was told next time I come back I need to have a babysitter. Now I owe for the copay I couldnt pay and I have a mouth full of cavities and am in alot of pain. Cant afford the copay or one tooth to be worked on right now but I also didnt deserve the treatment I received just because I have my son with me.

Southside Smiles is the BEST family dental clinic around! From walking in the door and being welcomed by the friendly staff (and even the Dr.), I knew they truly cared about their patients and that I had picked the right place to come to. Setting up an appointment had never been easier. They worked around my schedule and sent me reminders via text or call. I like that this clinic uses todays digital technology and I can actually see in detail whats in my mouth vs having to squint at an xray on a dull light board. My exam was explained to me in a way thats not over my head and I was provided the best possible treatment and care. Dr. Garner, hygenists, assistants and office manager provided a great experience and all receive two thumbs up! I will be back in 6 months! 😊

Didnt feel like they were really listening to me or cared about what I was going through being a first time wearing dentures did not like the guy who made my dentures went back several times cause I could not wear them without gagging asked him to shave them down but everytime he said he did I could not feel a difference still gagging finally gave up going there looking for a new place to get better fitting dentures I do not recommend this place for dentures just basic cleanings and is all I would go to cory for
