Dr. Trung and his team have an exceptional Dentistry practice. I have been a patient of his for over 3 years now. His team is top notch professional and very friendly. You are always greeted with a warm welcome. Being Active military it was nice to find a practice with a Dentist who was prior service and understands military paperwork and sometimes the hoops we have to jump through to get dental service. His practice is very clean and put together. I highly recommend his practice for any of your dental needs!

Dr Trung is refreshing. A dentist that listens to you and tells you your options. He is very personable and conscientious. He does not race through the job like many other dentists. I believe without his attention to detail Im sure I would have lost the tooth.

I have been a patient of Young Dental for over 20 years. When the new owner (Trung) took the practice over I was pleasently surprised with the influx of technology. He is also very meticulous with his work. He will not install a crown unless it is a perfect fit. He will have the lab make it to perfection until it is just right. I just had a filling done and was so impressed with Dr. Trung I had to write a review. What I look for in a dentist is professionalism, attention to detail, and perfectionism. Be careful with this practice Dr. Trung was very dishonest with me and misled me on what I was paying for. My teeth needed alot of work and instead of making me aware that I had a balance that was hid from me and I was only made aware after my insurance was used up and my flex spending account was drained and then only did I learn that I had a balance of over $2000. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to him let alone a friend!!! Also be very wary about positive reviews he asks patients to leave good reviews and offers money off their bill. of course they are going to lie and say hes great.

Ive always left from my visits feeling satisfied with everything that was provided. Its very important for me to have a doctor/dentist relationship where I dont feel as if Im just a number waiting in line and Dr. Trung and his staff provide the relationship that I need/want. Dr. Trung goes the extra steps to ensure that I am comfortable with all procedures and also is very informative about what is going on. I can also tell you that he is a perfectionist, which means that he will perform outstanding work.3 years ago (after more than 20 years without seeing a dentist) I was terrified about what to expect from a dentist visit. I had developed a severe cavity and kept putting off treatment, thinking that it would somehow miracously fix itself. Eventually, the cavity got so bad that the tooth cracked. This resulted in my first visit with Dr. Trung and within no time he had it fixed up. Currently, I am going in for my 6 month cleanings, getting cavities filled as needed and have no fear of the dentist.Thank You very much for the work that you and your staff perform!I would also like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice as a United States military veteran!!!

I am so happy to have Dr. Trung as my dentist!! I had problems with a tooth for about a year and a half. It was a baby tooth that never fell out and had a big hole where part of the filling/tooth had come out. I was so tired of picking food out of the hole. I had lived in a different state and my dentist said I would need a bridge or implant for the tooth. I knew I couldn’t afford that. Then we moved to IA and another dentist said the same thing. But not Dr. Trung. He said let’s fill that hole and get this taken care of! I know it wasn’t easy but he worked at it along with his assistant, I believe Christine is her name and got it done. He was very gentle and kept asking me if I was doing okay. I really appreciated him making sure I was okay. This took place mid March and my tooth is doing great!! No more picking food out and also it was very affordable!! Dr. Trung is awesome!!

I have always had teeth problems, and more importantly, dentist problems. We had bad coverage when I was a kid and never got started on the right path as visits were rare. At the age of 16 I had been shown horror pictures of how my impacted bicuspids would eventually explode outward if I didnt immediately undergo expensive oral surgery, and it only went downhill from there, dogpiled with lectures about braces, molar removal which involved a dentist uttering uh oh aloud and leaving root shards in my mouth, leaving me to give a speech with blood oozing down my throat. Im now in spitting distance of 40 and still have not scent my bicuspids explode out lIke nightmare tendrils.Sorry for the graphic description, but suffice to say I had written off dentists as quacks at that point.Then I was directed to doctor Trung. The doctor is not only fighting on my behalf in the war against my own dental genetics, but restoring my faith in dentistry. He calmly explains problems and the various options to treat them. I never feel belittled as he explains basic things like proper brushing techniques that I never learned as a kid. His staff is always friendly and warm.I now have 2 kids of my own now, both of whom im taking to Dr. Trung to get them the right start and quality care I was lacking, and would highly recommend him to friends and strangers alike.

I called this office from Missouri while traveling in my motorhome. I left my home state of Mississippi several days prior. They were so gracious to get me in the very next day to fix a broken tooth. Dr. Trung Phan is an excellent dentist and I highly recommend him for all your dental care. He even went the extra effort to take pictures of my teeth to show me that they are in dire need of repair, something my own dentist didnt even do! As part of the staff at Young General Dental/Grimes Family Dentistry, I love working with Dr. Trung and Dr. Orhan. I am one of the hygienists who works there and have no complaints. I wanted to leave a positive review because of the last review given by Anastasia. Weve never even seen anyone by the name Anastasia Beaverhausen and when we Googled the name, it turns out thats the name of a tv character on the popular show Will and Grace. Theres a lot of false sentences in there as well, for example.. I dont treat periodontal disease in 4 appointments! If you need treatment like that, I always get it done in 2 appointments so youre not having to come back several different times. Reviews are wonderful and we love them, but want you to be aware that false names and reviews CAN occur. If youre looking to give these two docs a try, I know theyd be happy to meet you. If I felt like they were trying to run up a patients bill, I would never work with them. Both doctors are very honest and knowledgeable and the rest of the employees I work with are very nice. Youre in charge of your own mouth, were here to let you know whats going on and give you different solutions that can help :-)

I recently found the team at Young General Dental, and couldnt be happier about it. After a negative experience with my previous dentist, and not feeling as if I was being taken care of, I called YGD to get back on track...and boy did they get me back on track! I was given some recommendations and referrals, and now Im well on my way...with a new set of braces!! Since the first visit, everyone from the front desk to the dentist have been so sincerely helpful and welcoming. I have never felt rushed, and Dr. Orhan has made sure to explain all options available to me so I can make an informed decision for myself...The entire staff are a fabulous group of people. I rarely write reviews, but Lynae, Kylie, Dr. Orhan have been so great that I had to sit down and write one.
