Every one in the office was very sweet, helpful, and kind to me. They make sure to talk to you about everything and maintain transparency in everything they do. Dr. Riley is extremely polite, and very soft with the tools he used to inspect my teeth. I had 0% fear! Very glad I found you guys! So close to my office too!

The best dental office in Des Moines. The staff are all caring, have tons of patience with children, and don’t make you wait months to get in when you need to be seen. They are very accommodating. My husband has always been afraid of getting dental work done and since we found Angie he feels comfortable getting his dental exams done routinely. We love Dr. Riley, he is wonderful at what he does. I could let him work on my teeth all day and I am pain free and no anxiety here. My whole family goes to him, highly recommended.

I came to this practice due to the glowing reviews but was completely disappointed and therefore will not return.1. The front desk, Lucy, is completely incompetent and rude. I do not appreciate being put on hold, having to wait for call back so she can figure something out, and laughing during a phone call at my questions. She was completely unhelpful, rude, and should not be at the face or first impression of the practice.2. The billing department aka Lucy attempting to explain billing but really failing. If I came in for a routine exam and mentioned tooth pain - I would not be charged because my insurance covers it. But I came in for an exam for tooth pain, and therefore was charged. This is were Lucys rudeness really shined in explaining the billing process. As a practice, why wouldnt you mention this prior? You ran my insurance prior to figure out what was covered, so why wasnt I notified that this appointment wasnt fully covered? Instead, it was brushed off and told your insurance will cover it. Yet once I leave, I receive a bill in the mail. This is frustrating. As a practice, you should have your customers best interest and learn to work peoples insurance to benefit them and you. Also, when people call to discuss billing matters and have questions regarding their bill, a great tip is not to laugh at them and essentially tell me its my problem.3. My time was wasted. From being put on hold to them running behind for an appointment. My time was not valued. It doesnt help that you have to pay for parking and every time theyre late, it costs you more.The sad note is, I actually liked the doctor, he was friendly and honest. But will not support a practice or business that doesnt value their customers. There was enough bad things about my experience and other great practices out there that I would rather go to.

I transferred to this office about a year ago end it was the best decision ever! I am not a fan of going to the dentist but the personal and comfortable atmosphere as well as the entire staff and Dr. Riley has made each of my experiences extremely pleasurable. Dr. Riley is thorough, while being the gentlest dentist I have had the pleasure of sitting in the chair for! I was thoroughly impressed. The building is beautiful and so unlike a typical dentist office; it is modern, sleek and stylish without being too industrial. Dare I say, I am actually looking forward to returning for a filling. Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to! Today was my first appointment there and it had been a few years since Ive seen a dentist so finding a great one was imperative. Dr. Riley is extremely soft-spoken and communicates through the whole process. He never seemed to be hurried and spent time on each question or issue I brought up about my teeth. He even was the one doing the cleaning! I had some old dental work that needed done and ,due to another last minute cancellation, he was able to knock it all out in the same day, saving me another trip back. Highly recommend!

Recently moved to Des Moines from Kansas City. Needed to get a dental cleaning. Walked in, very nice lady greeting me. Next, hygienist brought me in and took x-rays (I did not get my records sent over from previous place). There was little to no pain, unlike many other places Ive been throughout the years. Next was the cleaning. Teeth felt great & clean afterwards. Then Dr. Riley came in to check my teeth and asked if my TMJ bothered me. I said yes & he said if Id like, he could recommend me to University of Iowas TMJ program, Win-Win. Def needed that golden nugget since many people are not aware of TMJ and how to possibly fix it.So if you are looking for a place of cleanliness, experience, high quality, friendliness, and honesty.. you have came to the right place.

Very professional yet casual atmosphere. Personnel are pleasant and considerate, as well as helpful with insurance issues and answering questions. Dr. Riley is knowledgeable concerning current techniques and products. Being a new practice, it is small enough that there is no more than one or two patients at a time being seen. I’ve always been anxious about going to the dentist but Dr. Riley and his staff were amazing. High tech office in the heart of down town, very friendly atmosphere, extremely professional and kind. They helped me work with my insurance company to get composites done on my chipped front teeth, filled a cavity and did a great cleaning in one visit when other denitists offices tried to over charge me by telling me I needed multiple cleaning visits. I recently moved, and I had to find a new Dentist. I chose this location due to the excellent reviews, and I was not disappointed. The staff was very nice, and I received an excellent cleaning/examination. I appreciated that my entire dental history was reviewed with me, and that the Dentist told me what was going on each step of the process.This location is fairly easy to find, and its on the ground floor of the west side of the building. I would recommend this Dentist if youre new to the Des Moines area.
