After a bad experience with a young dentist in the past, I expressed I was nervous to have Dr Nick, a recent grad, perform a filling for me. He was so gracious with me and said he didn’t mind stepping aside as long as the tooth is question for taken care of.In the end, I decided to over come my fears and I’m so glad I did! Dr Nick did a perfect job and was very careful and attentive. According to the office staff, he has spent every school break observing Dr M, doing as much as he can to be at the top of his game.

Dr. M is an absolute wizard of dentistry! He was able to fix my gap using composite filling. He also added to my short tooth; he literally saved me thousands of dollars! I cant say enough good thing about this entire office. Everyone was so professional & kind.

Popped in here for a consult from my orthodontist. Basically Im doing Invisalign and I have one tooth that is smaller than its pair, and was thinking about my options to have them match.The answer I got here was that I shouldnt mess with healthy teeth unless it was really important and that no one else would notice. I only was because I was fixating while watching my smile change.I was ready to write a blank check. Getting back honestly, just leave it alone made them nothing to what they could have. Any provider in any field who recommends a solution that makes them significantly less money Im impressed with and leave trusting their opinion.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I felt me and my teeth were in great hands. The whole team is so kind, and my dentist was fantastic. I originally went in wanting veneers, keep in mind I am overly critical of my smile and teeth, and it was all I knew. My dentist educated me that he did not think veneers were the best choice for me, and gave me a much better option which costed about 6 times less than what veneers would have. He is a great dentist because he wont just do what makes him the most money, he does what is best for the patient. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Margeas for a small cosmetic issue with a tooth from a recommendation from my current Dentist. I have heard from many people (including my own dentist) that he was the best in cosmetic dentistry any where in the mid-west. My consultation was this morning. He was totally upfront about what he thinks the best route is for me and my teeth. I felt totally comfortable with his recommendations and confident in his abilities. Ive been to an other dentist about this same issue years ago and it didnt feel right. Now that Ive had the consultation with Dr. Margeas, Im excited to finally move forward with fixing it. Every staff member was very welcoming and pleasant. It was a really nice place to be with a great energy there. If I didnt like my normal dentist so much, Id absolutely become a regular there! Iowa Dental Group (IDG) is the most competent group of dental professionals I have ever dealt with ...bar none! My dental history dates back to 1975 when I had significant amount of crown and bridge work completed. Throughout the years I have had an extraordinary amount of repair and maintenance work done to keep my teeth as functional and aesthetically pleasing as possible. But, even with care, crown and bridge work eventually breaks down and requires restoration.I am just finishing a total crown and bridge restoration performed by Dr. Brett Barber with Iowa Dental Group, and although the work needed was a bit costly, the charges were certainly within reason. The results are a complete and total success! I cannot say enough about all of the professional people associated with IDP. My brother was an Oral Surgeon, and if living today, Im confident would give IDP the highest marks possible!!!My sincere thanks and appreciation go out to all of you at IDP, with special thanks and admiration to Dr. Dr. Brett Barber and Dr. Robert Margeas!
