This location has great service! I really appreciated the time and patience that the staff had with me on my visit. The front receptionist was kind, helpful and polite. The young lady Morgan that helped me with selecting my glasses and completing my purchase was very knowledgeable and professional. Even the eye Dr. was nice and helpful during my virtual eye exam. The office was very clean also!

When I walked in no one greeted me and then as I was getting ready to leave one lady said have you been helped, I said no I was getting ready to leave. The lady Dorinda”Dee” I heard them say was so rude to me and so was Morgan, they acted as if I was getting on their nerves. After taking 3 people before me to pick out glasses I finally got a chance to sit with Morgan but they couldn’t verify my insurance so I decided to do the two pair. She then got up and took another customer leaving me waiting again. I had to leave and then I went back the next day Dorinda was upfront again. She said can I help you? I said I’m returning from yesterday she then said nothing. The customer service was so horrible then I met Chelsea she was so nice. She asked was I being helped and told me to have a seat and thanked me. She really could teach a customer service class.

The service I received at this place of business was an eye opener. Not only knowledgeable but also caring. Especially the optician Morgan. She made feel comfortable and at ease when taking delivery of my Ray Bans. And made sure I was making the right decision for me.Glade to say I will always come back to this establishment. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

I was helped by a lovely Asian girl with glasses. She made me feel not as blind as I am now. If you have a chance to see their specialists they know what is the difference between hip and trendy frames or frames that belong in your grandmas closet.

I was in the market looking for a new eye doctor and I actually accidently called on this place and I am so glad I did -- they seem to take way more insurances than other competitors. At first my experience was not that great when my contacts were delayed indefinitely but Kami was amazing, she fixed the issue and now my contacts are on the way. I definitely recommend this store.

Cami is great!!! I Went into the Covington Georgia location off Highway 278 in the Newton shopping plaza and I was helped by Shamorah... The second I walked in she sat me down immediately and took my order ...she was very pleasant.... very sweet and had me in and out so I could get to work on time! I always have a great experience when I go into this America’s best it’s hard to find good customer service these days but they always have it at this place!!!

If I giving ZERO stars was an option I would. This store has either deliberately defrauded me or are the most incompetent persons I have done business with. In May of this year I took my personal name brand aviator frames to this store to have my prescription lenses put in them. They were first returned to me missing a lens. I was told they would go back to lab to get fixed only to return a week later and given the Wrong glasses . They had never sent my frames for lens be replaced and this happened twice before they called me to say they are now broken. The manager refuses to call me back as I am requesting for them to return my frames to me even though they are claiming they are broken. Essentially they have stolen my property and the most they say they can reimburse me (since I dont have the receipt from purchasing 2 yrs ago ) is $50.I have contacted their Corporate offices and filed complaints with the BBB and the state consumer protection office.

There was a mix up with my contacts and miss Shalane was super sweet and helpful in getting everything fixed! I normally go to the Hwy 20 location in Mcdonough however something happened and I had to go to the Covington location but needless to say I won’t go back to McDonough! The Covington location is a lot better especially in the customer service area! Everyone there is friendly and helpful.

The worst experience I’ve ever had getting an eye exam and glasses. They did not inform me until after the exam that my insurance was out of network. The first appointment was on Saturday in which I had the pre exam test and after 45 minutes in the store was made aware the dr wasn’t available and was had a scheduling mistake. Next appointment was Wednesday and was told I had to perform the pre test again because the one from Saturday was lost. Basically was a 2 hr waste of my time between the 2 days. The staff seemed to have no training with zero customer service experience. Avoid if possible.

I was early and they still managed to take care of me immediately. Lauren took especially good care of me. I like others loathe the pressure test. She made it pleasant while still making sure the results were as accurate as possible. If all my experiences were as nice as today with Lauren and the rest of the staff I would probably get my eyes checked regularly like I am supposed to.

The first time I came, I had an appointment. I was on time but the wait for the doctor was over thirty minutes. I waited patiently.Here is my second tt ih me and I am 15 minutes late.they would nit see me. How is this right3303minutes.

I just walked in to check prices for a new prescription....literally l walked in blind...no pun intended...l was greeted well by all staff...and met Alexsis...this lady had all the knowledge and easily provided understandable answers to my questions and concerns. I feel l got the best experience and better than l deserved ...Thank You Alexsis, I highly recommend going to this Covington location....you can walk in blind and you will see....

I would not recommend going here. 2 visits in one week. 1st visit the staff was very pleasant but the female doctor was getting frustrated because I wasnt answering her quick enough . The 2nd visit was today with the male doctor who was very pleasant very thorough and was allowing me to tell him exactly how was the seeing things which led to a completely different prescription than what the female doctor had given me. I have vision insurance through my job and when I was in here a couple days ago I picked out 2 frames I was told that it would be covered under insurance and the office manager tells me that if I picked 2 frames they could give me a discount still leading me to believe that everything would be covered threw my insurance. I paid $25 on my 1st visit which was the copay and 15 for an extra service. I go into day I am told that I need to pay a copay of $10 again for the lenses and the 2nd set of frames are not covered under the insurance And I would need to pay $80 for them when I was led to believe that they were covered. I was then told that its not their responsibility to let me know what is covered and what is not. I proceeded to tell him I understand that.... I am not saying give them every little detail of their insurance policy what I am saying is, Dont sit there and lead them to believe that things are gonna be covered when there not! You guys waited until my 2nd visit to tell me all these extra charges. So I eliminate one set of frames and prescription. By this time Im pretty aggravated.....The guy that was helping me, I believe is the Office manager, was trying to get me to order a type of lens that I did not want & then tells me that its going to be another $30 something dollars.. I told him fine, Ill try them and if they dont work and I am not satisfied with them Im gonna come back in here and request the original kind that I wanted and I am not paying for them… He said fine and then just ordered the ones that I wanted with the excuse of Im just trying to get you the better lenses.... I felt like he was trying to push me to buy things I didnt want. This is not all of it but I feel like Ive said enough!Doctor Whitehead.... total sweetheart.The office manager killed it for me... I will NOT be back!

I called up to the store because I had my last pair of contacts rip in my eye on the way to work and needed an appointment sooner than already scheduled. I spoke with Lauren and she helped so much in trying to get me an earlier appointment and called me back in a timely manner. She assured she would help me get an appointment ASAP!

Had my first ever eye exam, and purchased glasses at this location. Everyone did a great job especially Keshawn. Seriously, it was basically lunch by the time I sat down at his desk, and he was handling everything pretty much by himself. Phone calls coming in left and right, people walking in the door, and him handling all of them while still getting me fitted and my order placed. Keshawn apologized every single time he had to handle an interruption, and never complained or acted stressed out. I would definitely recommend this location.

My experience went ok being it was my first time at an eye doctor. I had a great experience, from the time I walked in the door everyone was very patient and kind and so helpful, the reason I am giving 3 stars is because the only not so well experience I had was with the eye doctor. This was my first eye exam I have ever had before and I believe the doctor should of had a little more patience, she seemed to keep getting frustrated with me, one was I was having problems with the eye lenses fogging up during the exam due to having the mask on, I asked if I could pull my mask just under my nose for the moment so I could see the lenses without it fogging up she said no, in which she proceeded to try and hold my mask to my nose herself which I was uncomfortable with and was still in the way of me seeing properly, she then proceeded to tell me that I was the only patient that had this problem, which also made me feel very uncomfortable as if I was troubling her. She didnt give me much detail about my eyes afterwards just that she was writing me a prescription and needed to keep the glasses on at all times. I wanted to wait until I received my glasses to leave a review to see how they turned out for my eyes. I love the glasses but things are still blurry with my eye. I do believe I need to go somewhere else for another eye exam. Besides that the rest of your staff was very pleasant and kind and helpful!

I am astounded at the wonderful customer service at American Best in Covington, Ga. My friend has been in the hospital since January going from 28 days in ICU, 6 weeks acute care, and now physical rehab. During these months, her glasses were lost. American Best is replacing her glasses at no charge. Thank you. She will be so happy to see and so appreciative of your kindness.

America’s Best really made the best of a bad situation for me. I made an appointment with faulty insurance information and Keshawn F, Simone C and Alexsis T made a stressful situation smooth and I could not be more grateful to them. I absolutely love this Americas Best. I have been going to Americas Best since I was a kid, and this store is the best thus far. They should really train the other stores on good customer services. The staff is nice, helpful, and professional. I ordered some contact online and the order was wrong when I got it. I went to the store to see if they could help me because I could not get help over the phone; even though I did not order my contact from them directly. They were so helpful with trying to call customer services and they were still helping me when I left, because the manager Alexis called me later and reported she had spoke with someone and the problem was corrected. When I have an appointment I am never waiting around and I am seen in a timely manner. They doctors are nice and very knowledgeable, and I do not feel that they are just trying to take my money. I am so glad they opened this store in Covington.
