Took my son by earlier today for an unknown swelling/reaction in his eye. Shiney was very helpful on the phone, scheduled us quickly and just as courteous when we arrived. This place is awesome, this is the only place that has ever checked my eyes other than just the vision part. They checked behind my eyes and found things that never would have been found from the other places because they just do the vision part only. So I’m thankful for them and them checking things out further for my eye health. Staff and doctor very friendly.

This was my daughters first eye appointment and she was very nervous about all of it, but all the staff here made her feel very calm and relaxed. Everyone we came in contact with was super friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We highly recommend you try them.

I ended up going to them for an emergency cornea abrasion. They made me feel comfortable, got me in there first thing on a Saturday morning with no hesitation. They also gave me a less invasive option for healing my eye verses surgery like my primary eye Dr was recommending. They are now my go to eye dr! I love them!

Ive been seeing Dr Mallory for several years. Always been greeted by the staff with a smileeven now with Covid- eye smile while wearing a mask testing always go great but explanation in all the process. Dr Malloy explain things where I can understand them.

I brought my kids in for their first exams, they are 2 and 5. Dr.Mallory was patient with my restless toddler and educated me on her Anisocoria which I had been concerned about and questioning her pediatrician about since she was a baby. All staff was very friendly and eager to assists with my needs and patient with my children. :)

I really like Dr. Mallory but would never purchase glasses here. They are very expensive at the start, but then the employees throw a bunch of jargon at you about upgrades and digitization, and are kind of rude about strong prescriptions and dismissive of affordability concerns.

My experience was so good I just wanted to leave a review, the girl that did my exam was so thorough and made me feel so comfortable. The optometrist I saw was also so nice and she explained everything to me in a way that I didn’t feel uncomfortable to ask questions.

I liked the doc but that is all!! I had my exam and was convinced to get progressive lenses. When I received my glasses the right side lens was wavy like a carnival mirror. The office told me this was normal with progressive lenses, which I strongly question, and offered to have the progressive lenses changed to regular lenses. They are still charging me for progressive lenses even though there was no way I could wear the progressive and not have horrible motion sickness!!!, let alone see well enough to drive. This place is awful. The girls talk about customers very rudely and have horrible customer service skills! Avoid this place!! Ridiculous!!

There was confusion regarding what our insurance covered from the start. They were still not sure of the charges with we checked in. During the exam, some ocular photos were taken and our impression was the photos were covered. We received a bill two months later because they were not covered. I called to discuss and the answer was they were sorry if there was a misunderstanding. They had an opportunity to address the situation but chose not to do so. We will not be going back. FYI

I’ve used eyecare plus for my eye needs since I was in 3rd grade. I’m 28 this year. Awesome staff. Quick service, and they explain things in a way you can understand. Very affordable for those without insurance.

I had my first visit with them a few weeks ago. The whole team was very welcoming and my doctor was very thorough and took the time to explain everything for me. It was a great first experience!

We love the doctors and the staff at Eyecare plus in Columbia. The doctors there really take their time with their patients. One of my children is special needs, and it doesnt matter which doctor we get, they take their time, ask appropriate questions that he can understand and answer truthfully, and they also make sure he is comfortable and calm before starting his exams, even if it takes a little longer. I also really appreciate how the doctors listen to both of my kids, the neurotypical child (age 13) and the special needs child (12). All the doctors and all their staff really take their time with us. We also love their selection of eye glasses, the options they have for lenses, and, since I have a special needs son, the replacement program for glasses/lenses.I would recommend Eyecare Plus to anyone looking for a nice place to get their eye exam.

We have had nothing but problems from this place. First they told my husband he wasn’t eligible for new glasses and we knew he was but they made us pay $300 for his and had to use his own glasses. Then they got mine wrong the first time and returned them and just got them back Saturday and I paid $200 to get everything on my lenses the first time and the second pair don’t have transition lenses. I don’t recommend them at all.

My visit at Eyecare Plus was outstanding! The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond during these challenging times. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing glasses, contacts, exams, etc....

The doctors and staff at the Columbia office were very efficient and knowledgeable. They explained everything they did and let me know before hand if there was an extra charge so I could decide if I wanted to add that service. My person helping me with the actual glasses seemed rushed and I know they were short handed that day, but that part was as good as had been the year before. But I definately recommend them.

My husband, son and myself went and had eye exams and got contacts. The Doctor took his time and explained what I needed to know and answered all my questions. Highly recommend

Im a customer of 10+ years now and until this past visit I have had a good experience. Besides price increases, Ive never had to wait this long for my glasses. Im going into my 3rd week waiting. I have never waited over week or 10 days max. I called to check the status today. Nice young man put me on hold to check. I didnt mind being on hold while he checked. It took a while so I knew there was a problem. I imagined my order may have fell in the crack. He came back to me and said my glasses would be ready in a day or two and he was going to put my order on top of the stack. That comment confirmed my original thought. Im disappointed to say the least and I have been struggling to see better.

The staff here is absolutely priceless. Theyre always pleasant, always helpful, and always willing to answer any questions I may have. The physicians are not only professional and polite, but theyre willing to go the extra mile to explain what all the technical stuff means. They are genuinely concerned that I understand it and how they can assist me in treating any issues that arise. Even their selection of frames made me happy, and Im pretty picky about my frames. I certainly recommend them.

My original pair of glasses were purchased this past spring at the Hickory Hollow location in Antioch, Tennessee. The spring broke on the hinge and needed to be replaced.They were about six months old.This time I chose the Columbia location because it is closer to my house. I was worried about a replacement pair and how much this would cost.My first pair were $600.00 out of pocket and the Antioch location refused to give me a breakdown on the bill, annotating my costs with insurance coverage. I asked for this several times and the lady with long, brown hair did not take me seriously, ignoring my request. She just brushed me off.I kept this in mind for future reference.The Columbia location immediately took me in, gave me a breakdown of my prior bill and assured me that my only charge for a replacement was $25.00. The pair they gave me match the price that I paid before and the insurance I purchased at the prior location still applies to my new pair.Laura and the rest of the staff in Columbia, Tennessee are fantastic. They tended to this immediately and listened to my concerns. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent service. Much improved since my last visit around this time last year. Stopped in to pay my bill and was an even greater improvement. All employees seemed extremely happy and greeted me as soon as I walked in, it was nothing but smiles. Would recommend to anyone.

Love this place! Went into get an eye exam and glasses. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The service was fast and I was well informed on everything they were doing. The guy that helped me pick out my frames was super friendly and helpful picking the right frames for me. They have a great variety of frames to choose from and at a great cost. I took my daughter in for an exam yesterday. I didnt have an appointment. The front desk told me it would be at least an hour wait. I had just got through filling out her new patient paperwork and they were already calling her back.She is 8 and was a little nervous and got scared when she had to get the puff in each eye. The lady was so sweet and talked her through it.Dr. Mallory checked her very thoroughly and was so nice and patient with her.We found out she did need glasses and was put with Ashley. She was absolutely the best. She showed us every single pair of glasses they had for kids and worked with me to help me stay in my price range. She was so good helping us select the right frame and letting me know how much each add on would so I could stay in my price range.Ive been going here for years myself and I would highly recommend this place to anyone and appreciate the extra time and care they took with my child.

First time ever getting my eyes checked or even having to get glasses. Hands down what a great place to do it at. The doctors were super friendly and very knowledgeable. Took my daughter here and we waited for over 3.5 hours for her to be seen. She never could see out of the glasses we received. I took her to another doctor today and he told us the prescription was so off, he wondered if they gave us the wrong glasses. I would have took her back for them to fix the prescription but no way was I going to sit nearly four hours again for them to fix their mistake. Terrible experience. Wont go back.

Had an eye appointment at Eye Care Plus on Oct 4, 2017. The front desk staff was quick and efficient.The support staff for Dr Mallory were very well trained.Dr . Mallorys exam was thorough to make sure my eye health was addressed due to I had been experiencing headaches and eye pain.Judi was the technician who helped me with my glasses once my prescription hand been verified. She was marvelous and very well trained. I was a walk-in customer and from the second I walked in and was geeted by the receptionist to the time I left, I was treated by cheerful friendly staff who made me feel extremely comfortable. There was no waiting for any procedure and everything was explained fully as we went along. I cant remember the last time I felt so good about a medical facility. I took my daughter to the Eye Care Plus she is only five years old... They did a wonderful job doing many different test to make sure they got her just the right lens for her glasses.. The wait in between some rest did take a little while.. But, they over all I will keep taking her there they was all the way around amazing to her!! Thank You eye care plus!

Staff is amazing the service is superb the selection of glasses is it that wide for my style but they have all the name brands and also some cheap brands that are very trendy I personally bring in my own frames and I had no trouble getting the lenses for my personal frames I would definitely recommend this location. I began coming to Eyecare Plus many years ago, and have had only excellent treatment, care, and service in my time there. They have a great selection of frames and the glasses I purchased were adjusted to fit me perfectly. The most impressive part of my visits has always been the courteous and outstanding service Ive received from the doctors and staff.

The staff was really nice. Not sure why my appointment had to take 4 hours but if you go here make sure you eat and clear your schedule for the day cause you’ll be there from the time they open to the time they close.

Very good experience! Open on Saturday, so definitely a Plus! Was a quick process and did not have to wait long at all to be seen! Very friendly staff! And Wesley, the guy with the beard, he was very helpful to me making sure I picked out the best fitting/looking glasses, very nice!

My entire family was recently seen at this location and we were all please with the doctors. However, the staff we were not so much pleased and think they are after the all mighty dollar. Judy helped me with picking out frames, but immediately took me to the most expensive frames because my insurance had more benefit for those. However, it did not cover all of the frames. Then she basically lied and said I HAD to get progressive lenses. I could not afford these glasses and instead of offering a bifocal, she told me I could just pay bay half now to get them made and when I came up with the rest of the money I could pick them up. REALLY?? I believe I need these to see. She was very hesitant to give me my prescription which I took elsewhere to get my glasses. My husband had to ask for his prescription and was also met with resistance. They told him that they kept it on file. People are entitled to their prescription. One of my children needed glasses and it was going to have an out of pocket expense. Again, I had to ask for the prescription. We went elsewhere for those glasses too and funny how there was no out of pocket expense. This place is a rip off. Trying to force to pay more for your glasses and they do testing to bill your medical. Never had that before and wont happen again. Bye bye.

I had a great experience. I think the best part is the friendliness of the staff. The secretary/nurse Nikki helped me get the best discount with my insurance. Also, another worker helped me pick out some frames that work good with my head. The doctor and the person that initially examined me were also super friendly. Overall a great time. One minor thing I would speak against is the selection of the frames, but I was able to find some that I like after about 10 mins or so. Keep up the good work.

Only giving this place two stars for the doctor. By far the WORST customer service. One of the girls was beyond rude to my fiancé, commenting under her breath that she didn’t want to be there while pretending to pull up his insurance and quoting imaginary pricing on her completely black tablet screen because apparently walking across the room to confirm it was too hard. Beyond lazy and completely unprofessional. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else. We got better service at the Walmart across the street.

We went in on July 11th and are still waiting for my husbands glasses to arrive! I called about a week ago just to see what was going on and was told my lenses had arrived but not my husbands. They called back stating that his glasses were lost but would be in by that Friday. My husband called back and was told they would call when his glasses arrived, still waiting. We will not be returning once we receive our glasses.,

I had several extra test because of a issue I had.When I left the internet had gone down and couldnt purchase my glasses. So I returned the next day to get the glasses. I got the laziest, rudest person anyone could hope not to get. She really didnt want to sell me glasses because I had to pull every answer out of her. Eyecare Plus is the eyecare office I trust the most to take care of my eyes in Columbia! The care they provide is top notch and all the staff is very helpful and friendly! Theyre thorough with the exam, friendly and always smiling, and theyre completely transparent about any fees I may incur for certain services. They explained every fee on my bill to me and helped me decide which options worked best for my budget. The staff is also very patient and allowed me to take my time choosing my frames. The Columbia location has many rude and unhelpful staff members. I went in there needing a replacement contact to get me until I was able to come to my appointment. I was unable to see at this point because I did not have a contact. They not only refused to let me purchase one but cut me off mid question and were very rude. I have been an eye care patient there for many years and, before this awful staff took over, they were always helpful and kind. I wasted a lot of money and time at this place and needless to say I wont be back. If you are looking for a eye care place in Columbia do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! You will be disappointed in the service, selection, and price if you choose this location.

Literally have been here 2 hours and still not done. Not only do they have long waits, there is no organization and they are playing music typically geared towards teens in a very age diverse waiting area. I’m canceling my other 2 children’s appointments as I can’t deal with this again

Absolutely terrible. I waited THREE weeks for a pair of glasses then they tell me they received them and something is wrong with the lens. And they have to re order them!! I have never in my life waited this long for glasses. So happy my insurance has changed and I can go back to Cheeks Optical!!

Ok so I had an appointment on 4/3/2019 for my prescription glasses. Well today is the 19th. Still no glasses. Been calling and asking where they were. The excuse I kept getting is that Davis vision says they are back order! Not once was I told this but 3 times. So I decided to call Davis vision. Then I was informed that the reason I do not have my glasses is because it took them 7 yes 7 days to order them. So they lied repeatedly and I payed $183 for them. So if you do not need your glasses anytime soon. I still would not recommend them at all. I can not stand to be straight up lied to. Tell ya the truth I think their eye exam was not that thorough. It was like in and out fast as they can and collect on the bill. I will never go back there again. Also I highly recommend no one else go there.

I have been coming to this location for years and everyone always seems to be friendly from the moment I walk in up until I leave. Its nice to have an eyecare provider that treats you like family. Until next time Eyecare Plus!

They said a test was free charged me. Did test I asked them to only do what insurance covered .then say to bad all ready did it you have to pay .tell me they never heard of free glasses with my insurance after 15 minutes off arguing she takes me to drawer.hello its only reading glasses.and you deal with my insurance everyday what a money scam dont go there got 200.00 bill

Wonderful staff, very patient with my wild 4 yr old. I am very thankful to them for catching what was wrong and setting up a plan to get my childs eyesight corrected.

Did not have a good experience at all. Only Dr. Harris and Jordan treated me kindly. As soon as I entered the building the receptionist embarrassed me by repeatedly asking me if I had insurance because she could not find it, was I sure, did I even have vision. After letting her know I would contact BCBS, she let me go through the entire process of getting a representative on the phone to speak with her to tell me oh well we already found it. When I came back to request my records and refund what I paid for my glasses the following day not one person greeted me even though the lobby was full of employees and there was not a single customer in there. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome throughout my entire visit. So I got my records, prescription, and money to take to an office that would like to provide me with good customer service.

The hours are convenient and they are available on Saturdays . The eye checks are thorough and the Doctors and staff are courteous and genuinely concerned with your well being

There are too many places to buy eyeglasses, for me to ever go back to Eyecare Plus in Columbia. The transition lenses do not work on my glasses, and when I called to ask about getting this fixed, the very first statement out of her mouth was Sorry, maam, there is nothing we can do about that. She talked over me during every sentence I tried to speak to her; she kept repeating possible reasons for lenses not working after Id already said they didnt apply (not being in direct sunlight; not waiting long enough for lenses to turn; high temperature/humidity). Finally she said it might be my prescription (my prescription hasnt changed dramatically since my previous pair of transition lenses, which worked wonderfully) but that she couldnt say for sure, because she didnt have my chart. I asked her why, if the prescription wouldnt work with transition lenses, they wouldnt have told me instead of selling me such an expensive feature. She repeated that she couldnt say, because she didnt have my chart. When I asked her to get the chart, she said it wouldnt be any use, because the lens technician wasnt there. Ridiculous double-talk on top of a no-can-do attitude from her first word.
