I visited four other places for glasses before buying here. The staff was extremely professional in every way. The woman that helped me (Madhu) deserves a raise! She was patient and encouraged me to take my time in making a decision. In fact, I came back a second time and I ended up finding something more to my liking. Thus far, I have nothing but good things to say and I will definitely share my experience with others.

One if the best customer service experience I have ever had at a optical store! Went to get glasses for me and my husband! 4 pairs in total, Madhu was so patient and knowledgeable she looked up our insurances told us of all the benefits. I had my 2 pairs ready in 30 mins and walked out happy! Been going here for years and they have been a great place. Saturday does get busy so plan accordingly!

I tried them because I broke my glasses and couldnt get an appointment at my regular doctor. They provided excellent customer service. Ms. Ann and Ms. Melissa was very knowledgeable and helpful on the glasses side. Dr. Gallo was great. She took time to explain the changes in n my prescription and answered all my questions and made suggestions. I was so impressed with her and her office crew that I have decided to make her my new optometrist. I will highly recommend Eyemart Express on Harbison in Columbia.

1st time using Eyemart Express, and the service was amazing the eye doctor spent all the time with me that I needed . She never rush my personal service needed to give me what I needed to correct my vision ! And after finding my glasses and the order sent to the lab I had 2 complete pair of glasses done in 27 minutes ! Great place to get your needs met. Mashu was most professional and a delight to work with. She went over my insurance benefits so I could maximize my benefits which I didn’t know everything about my plan, like 19.99 pair of extra glasses for free, and $150 frames allowance. She pulled several frames that would fit my smaller face, and she was just an overall personal and delightful person.

I took all three of my kids her. One out of the three gets compliments all the time about her glasses. This made it easy for her to wear them and even boost her confidence/self esteem.

The initial visit when I chose my frames was excellent. However, when I picked up my glasses the experience was not the same. I was not asked to have a seat, I had to stand at the counter while I tried on the glasses and while one pair was adjusted. There was ample seating available that would have been socially distanced from the other clients. I will not be returning to this location nor will I recommend it to anyone.

I had just had my eyes examined and came here to get glasses. I had been right next door and they share a common door so it was obvious I was there to get glasses. I walked up to the register and handed the lady my prescription and she said she didnt need that now and I could start looking at glasses. I asked where I should look and she pointed to one wall and told me which way to walk around. At this point everything was okay, I didnt get a big welcome but I wasnt there to be friends, I just needed new glasses.When I asked the lady which glasses my insurance would cover she asked to see my card. I gave it to her and she proceeded to tell me it was my dental insurance card. I had just had my eyes dilated and was wearing those sunglasses so I could have been wrong but I was pretty sure I didnt have my husbands dental insurance card in my wallet. I asked to see it back then she realized it said in BIG letters at the TOP of the card - Delta VISION. At this point I am really starting to feel unwelcome, they are supposed to be professionals in this business and from what I know about professionalism you greet people and help them find what they need. Did I mention - I was the only customer in the store at this time?Now that she has my insurance card so goes to enter it online to see what I could get but it wouldnt work, she needed a password and didnt know what it was.She asks another lady for help and the other lady told me I could look at glasses while they tried to figure it out. I told them I didnt want to look at glasses and waste my time if I didnt know what my insurance would cover. She said, Well you can have a seat then. Due to the dilation I couldnt drive quite yet so I sat down and set a timer, I was waiting 5 minutes then leaving. At 5 minutes they told me they couldnt find the password and would have to call corporate the next day to get the password reset. I should try calling back the next day to see if they have it working.Maybe if it had been 1 negative of the entire visit I would have been okay with it but everything was bad. This would have been my 3rd time buying glasses there and I have always had a great experience but I will not be going back there. ever. again.

The lady who helped me was so kind and encouraging! She picked out a dozen frames for me, helped me decide, filed insurance, and checked me out in less than 40 minutes. I got my glasses the same day! I will go back!

I unexpectedly broke my glasses (progressive lenses). I could not find my prescription. My doctor’s office said they could fax it directly to location that would make my glasses. I went to Eyemart. When I got there I found I had to wait until later in the day when the doctor had finished with patients to get the prescription. Eyemart fit me in for an eye exam. My prescription was difficult so could not be made on-site, but they were able to make me a pair of single vision glasses in an hour that would allow me to see long distance. They were life savers. I especially thank Brittany and Anne for their help. But everyone I worked with was kind, considerate and helpful.

Service was excellent. Madhu was the person I worked with. She was very patient with communicating with me since I am very hard of hearing. She was very pleasant and is a wonderful asset to your company. Glasses were made very quickly.

The two ladies closing tonight are extremely rude…I’m trying on glasses, and they decided to turn off the lights in the mirrors where I’m trying the glasses on. Whoever the manager is really should have a one on one and explain to them the value of customer service. They are a poor representation of this company. I wish I got their names. I left, but I’ll be back to work with some else.Disgusting experience!

I should have trusted the other reviews that gave this place a bad rating. The associates here are always rude and act like they have better things to do. I dropped off a pair of glasses to be redone and they said they would mail them to my house for free. I got the message saying they were in the store a week later but no one has mailed them out. I’ve tried to call them and each time they say they’ll call me back and nothing. I call again and they say the mailing manager is off. They should have said that from the start. Even when I dropped them off in the first place the lady who took my glasses was extremely rude. She kept trying to charge me for something. I just want my glasses that I paid for correct that’s all. Once I get my glasses I will NEVER come back to this location again.

When I tell you they were the BEST! So I had a appointment at Stanton Optical & when I walked in they told me they canceled my appointment because they were over booked. Of course I was mad & left.As im leaving I see Eyemart. I told the woman at the desk I was upset and what happened. She squeezed me right in and said if I can wait 30 mins I can be seen. The whole office was friendly. They truly made my day. They made me feel very welcomed. Then when I went over to pick my glasses they ran to me & was ready to jump in and help me. The best part was you could get your glasses the same day! They have amazing prices. They said my glasses would be done in a hour but it only took 20 mins. I definitely will be back, they have a new customer for sure. I couldn’t find ANYTHING wrong about this place or the workers. If I could give them 100 stars I would.

Madhu helped me pick out glasses and was very kind, friendly, patient, and helpful. My eyes were diluted from eye appointment so I really needed some assistance. The manager made sure I could get my glasses the same day even though it was evening and about an hour from closing when we completed the order. I dont live in Irmo so not making a second trip was much appreciated! I was able to get two pairs of glasses quickly and ready for work the next day at home or the office. This visit was a great experience and everything I was hoping for when I came to get new glasses. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience here. My mom lost her glasses after a horrible car accident and needed something immediately due to not being able to see without them. Anne helped us and she was so super sweet and nice. She was very personable and genuinely cared about helping us. On top of all of this the glasses were ready in 21 minutes which was amazing! It was not easy for my mom to get around due to the injuries from her accident. When we arrived to pick the glasses up Anne saw us struggling to get out of the car and immediately brought the glasses outside to us. I was absolutely stunned. She not only brought them to us she allowed her to try them on in the car and checked the fit as well. We didn’t have to move at all. It is not everyday that you see this kind of customer service. I am so thankful for Anne and how much she cared. I will most definitely recommend!

Visiting SC from Buffalo NY when my glasses were chewed by host dog! Needed Glasses and Eye exam because my prescription was out of date. Called a few places but could not get the glasses for 10 days to two weeks. Noticed some nice deals at a place called Eyemart on Harbison Blvd. so I called and got an appointment for an eye exam the next day at 2 o’clock. By 7 o’clock I was headed home with a nice pair of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. They were both made within a couple hours and best price I ever paid. Everyone was very helpful and very pleasant and nice to work with. Crystal was very knowledgeable and helpful also. Definitely would give this more stars if I could. Im really upset with the people making the prescription, the first time i called asking if i can use my own frame, they said OK, but after ive hand them my prescription and told them to use my frame, the person inside has a lot of reasons that he cant do it. i got one of their frames which exactly the same size as mine, they did it easily. Really upset because i want to save some money but they just really want you to buy their frames. im not pleased witht the customer service.

Our 1st visit was awesome. Brittany was very helpful and knowledgeable. When we picked up the glasses, they were off due to prescription error. Spoke with Christi over the phone the next day. She was very polite, helpful and patient. 2nd visit to have lenses corrected- Christi wasnt work and no one had a clue what I was talking about. Was told a phone call would be place to Christi and we would receive a call back. 3rd visit, because we didnt get a call back, after waiting 45 minutes, again since no one knew what I was talking about, we left due to my husband getting irritated (the glasses were for him). Well today, i called before going in because I didnt want to make ANOTHER unsuccessful trip- i heard Anna the one who answered the phone tell another coworker i was being nasty to her because i was asking her question. Which i did inform her that i heard what she said and didnt appreciate the lie, which she claims she caught herself and quess I didnt hear that part. Any hoot, Christi and Brittany were working when we went in. Christi remembered who I wad. Although the correct prescription had to be faxed over again (2 time couldnt be found), and more glasses had to be picked out (the original pair couldnt be found either), the customer service we received from Christi and the store manager Doriss, was so awesome not only did we get the correct glasses, we ended up purchasing a pair of prescription motorcycle glasses and a backup pair. Within 2 hours we walked out with 4 pair of glasses total.

The employees here are amazing & so nice. Kat helped me out a lot. She took her time helping me find the glasses that fit me best & she had excellent customer service! I would definitely recommend going here! Not to mention I got 2 pair of glasses for only 150.00, so great prices, great customer service. Whats not to like about them.

Eyemart customer service saw the comment and called to let me know that they were sorry for my inconvenience and they gave me 6 months of contacts on the house. I wanted to clarify that the administration and doctors were polite and professional, it was only the unexpected wait I was unhappy about which they assured was an irregular occurrence.They overbook appointments and promise walk ins that push the ones that made appointments back. Very disrespectful.

Good customer service on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. Will allow you to browse frames and lense options while waiting on a representative to assist you. Although intended as a backup pair, I can honestly see with my glasses better than I can through my eye contacts from an alternate source. Should have gone with the 2 for $39 and got a pair of sun glasses.

Very friendly and very professional! The optometrist Department was a lot of fun and it was very easy and very professional as well. From the time I walked into the receptionist to the time I walked out I was impressed the eye exam was very thorough and the ladies were so funny and so relaxing. And then the Eyemart Express itself was a very relaxed atmosphere and Kat was so helpful in picking out frames that complimented my face structure. The doc office is a good job. Quick and easy and not pushy. Best price in town for an eye exam if you are paying out of pocket. The frame store was okay, nice people but had to wait a while. I would recommend.

I was assisted by two very sweet young ladies, one by the name of Crystal and the other I believe was a manager but I did not catch her name. However, they made what would have been a long tedious experience after an even longer day of work, fun and worthwhile. The two of them actually helped me pick out two pairs of frames that were not only stunning but fit my face very well. Because of this my confidence received a bit of a boost. 😅 The process was not very lengthy at all and I appreciate them for making my experience a great one. I’ll definitely be back!

We got replacement glasses for my son quickly and at a reasonable price. The staff was helpful. We will go here again. Update: We had to replace my sons glasses again - boys! - and the folks here were super-helpful again. Definitely our store for getting glasses! I took my mother to get her glasses and the staff were very helpful. My mom picked out her frames, which were very reasonably priced. She got the progressive lenses, scratch-free lenses, with a tint, in 2 frames for less than $235.We left to go eat and was sent a text message when the glasses were ready. It took them about 1 hour to have both pair ready and my mom was extremely pleased with the quality of the frames and customer service. Will definitely go again!!

Great eye doctor. Got through out examine in a timely fashion. However when went next door to pick out glasses we had to wait over an hour for some one to help us. Then when the woman asked if she could help us she was rude about it. Then when asked about insurance she all but threw prescription back at us and told us very nastily that they don’t except our insurance. Won’t be going back there again.

I had a good experience. I was greeted and assisted within a reasonable period of time. The store was very busy so I had to wait longer that I had expected but everything went well. When my name was called during my initial visit, another customer was assisted because she approached the associate and she did not tell the associate that she was not the person whose name was called. I waited for a short time in order to observe what would happen next. Within minutes, I approached another associate to explain what happened and she was very apologetic. She assisted me as soon as she completed the task that she was involved in at that moment. I was pleased that the associate apologized for what happened.Both pair of my glasses were ready within less than 2 hours of me exiting the store. When I returned to the store to pickup my glasses. I was in and out of the store within one hour. The store was still very busy.I had a good experience. The staff was cordial and polite. The service was good. The prices were reasonable. I was treated like a valued customer.

I have been using Eyemart Express for approx 7 years. Have always had excellent service until yesterday. I ordered 2 pair of glasses, 1 pair of glasses & 1 pair of sunglasses, I paid for both and was told that it would be 2 to 3 hours (I live over an hour away) because 1 pair is sunglasses and it takes longer for tenting. After over 2 hours later, I got both texts informing that my order was ready but when I got back there, they had made 2 pairs of eyeglasses not 1 of each. I was then informed that it would be another 30 min to tent one of the pairs but by that time it was already close to closing so I decided to accept the order as they did it. I was told to come back another day to have them tinted if I still wanted sunglasses. I am disappointed that I will have to make another trip which will consist of at least 3 hours and the expense of another trip to correct their mistake.I received a call from Harbison Eyemart Express after my review and they sent me a pair of sunglasses with an upgrade of polarized sunglasses with FedEx service at no extra cost to me and allowed me to keep both pair of eyeglasses. I am very impressed with their Corporate Office and their Harbison store for their caring customer care! I reccommend their service to anyone that needs new eyeglasses.

I came in on Monday and the store was very busy, but the two associates were friendly, and very pleasant. I was thrilled with the selection and prices. They have so many frames to choose from! A young lady named Kat helped me, and she was great! I wasnt planning on buying at this time, but she was so bubbly and helpful, it made me want to buy then and there! With all the traffic and phones ringing, those girls never looked stressed or phased. I was very impressed. As soon as I have my eyes examined, I will be back.

We really like our experience with Eye mart Express. Everyone at this location was extremely nice. Chad waited on us, and he spent the time to give us the better cost. I still paid a lot, since my husbands insurance is not that good anyway. He had several strokes in 2016, and we had already been to Walmart on Sunset Blvd. in Lexington. They were not able to filled the prescription after being told twice that they would be ready in 10 days or less. I got our money back there after the second time. Eye mart Express was able to fill the prescription and only took 4 hours to fill it!

This place is amazing. The eye exam was quick & easy. I was in & out. I was able to pick up my glasses in about 1 hour after I order them. There is a variety & style of glasses to choose from. I was able to get two pairs of glasses, with transitions lenses for a unbeatable price. Crystal made my visit very easy and simple. She was so helpful & patient with me. She was able to explain to me which lenses would work better for my prescription, which style looked the best on me & prices for my budget. I did picked out the Fendi frames, but I put them back because the lenses werent in stock, but Crystal was able to accommodate me & get the lenses that I needed. She didnt charge me for those lenses since they werent in stock. I was now able to get the Fendi glasses for half the price. (Such a sweet deal) I will return back.

I have been shopping here since 2015. They always deliver fast, courteous service. I get compliments on my eyewear no matter how old my frames are. I recommend them every time I’m asked about my frames.

I must say I was a little hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews but overall Eyemart Express how a better rating then other local businesses. I called to make an appointment for my son and they were able to him that same afternoon. They were nothing but friendly and professional and did not try to push all the extra add-on down on throat. I knew the price of the eye exam before going in and they even honored a back to school special for glasses for my son who is way beyond that age. Great price for a years worth of contacts with rebate! Will be back!

Ive been coming here since they opened I think around 2011 and I have never had a single problem. Great local shop!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my whole entire life. The atmosphere was like a swap meet or flea market. The staff was rude and I felt rushed but the prices are dirt cheap. I went ahead like everyone else and purchased a pair of frames because I needed them. I PAID CASH. However, after some research I found that my insurance did have a decent priced in-network provider in the area. There I found the designer frames that I really wanted for $60 less out-of-pocket. I immediately contacted Eyemart to notify them of my cancellation and refund request. I had the hardest time! They did not want to refund my money. I even had to contact their corporate office.They too were pushy, trying to convince me to keep my order despite what I told them. They finally authorized the refund and now state that they do not keep cash in the store and they will have to issue a check request. They could not even tell me how long that would take to process...could be weeks! Theywere also unable to produce a copy of their refund policy. Long story short, depending on your insurance you may save money but the service stinks. Once you give them your money...good luck. These people are a bunch of flea market hustlers.
