I had corrective surgery about 2 months ago and Im so happy with the results!!! I havent seen this well since the 5th grade. The Dr was great and he explained the process to me as he did it! His assistants were super nice and they worked in harmony. You can tell that theyve been a surgery team for awhile. Follow ups are great and they never rush you in or out. They will always work you in if you have concerns after the surgery which is comforting. Give them a call for a consultation and ask if theyre having any deals for the month. Also if you pay in cash or money order then they give you a discount too but they offer financing. I tell everyone how happy I am.

This place is AWESOME! Everyone was easy and friendly to work with from the medical staff to the billing department and my procedure went amazing. Great service all around!

I was blown away by how pleasant and professional all the staff was at Restoration Eye Care. Dr McGarity is everything you would want your doctor to be. He described every aspect of my surgery, what to expect, what various options were and never in any of my appointments did I feel like he was in a hurry. Plus he called me in the evening after each surgery to check to see how I was doing.I am totally pleased and very happy I went to Restoration Eye Care.

Everybody is so patient, friendly and helpful. They take time to explain every step and answer any questions. After surgery the doctor personally calls you to see how everything is doing. He will help with any issues and answer any new questions. This is a wonderful place.

Everything went smoothly from the beginning consultation to the follow up visits. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of eye care..

The staff was cordial. The cataract surgeon, Dr. McGarity, was skilled; the surgeries and followups went off without any problems. However, the insurance and billing part was abysmal.The office wanted the projected copay before surgery, even though I had insurance with a major carrier. I respectfully requested to give payment after the insurance carrier paid its part. The office manager agreed to do so. After an evaluation for glaucoma, I received a bill for about $150, after insurance writeoff. Since I thought this was incorrect, I tried to call the person, apparently the only one, who handled insurance issues. I was told that she was out of the office and that I should leave a message, She never called back. The next time I went back to the office, I tried again to speak with her, but she wasnt available. I spoke with an agent from my insurance carrier, who agreed with me. She tried to call her, but had to leave a voice mail. Finally, I talke to the office manager when I went back for my final checkup. After investigating the matter, she finally agreed that I was right and corrected the billing errors.In conclusion, it was not worth the hassle. I will find another surgeon if I ever need any further eye surgeries.

My dad was a patient with both of his eyes. From the girls at check in to the nurses that walked us out. They were all awesome. Wonderful team, scary procedure was a peice of cake.

Dr. McGarity and his staff have the Cataract surgery process very well documented and the follow-up is pretty fantastic Getting a call from DR McGaerity at 8:30 pm the day of your surgery was a first for me from any Doctor. The Covid protocols are followed precisely and I felt very safe. I would reccomend him to anyone.

My visits were always great, staff was always very friendly and answered all questions and if didnt know the answers they made sure to have em before I left the office that day. The day I went for 1st surgery the staff was very professional and checked everything they were doing twice. The whole procedure was painless, and no pain after medication wore off. Dr. McGarity was great, made sure I understood what was being done and even called me that evening to make sure I was doing ok. I definitely recommend his office.

Had cataracts removed and corrective lens implanted. After 30 years of wearing glasses I am 20/20 and see like I was 18 again. No post op pain, no discomfort before or during surgery. Dr McGarity is awesome. Dont wait, Im 72 and wish I had done this 10 years ago.

My wife went there for a free consultation and they told us the price including discount on the day before surgery they back out on us and told us we need to pay for a gift certificates in order to qualified for the discount of 500. I was nervous about the LASIK procedure going in. I had no reason to be. The procedure took about 10 min and I felt no pain or discomfort. It was in a word, amazing. My experience with Restoration Eye Care was great. If i had to have cataracts removed again id go there again. The doctors & staff was very friendly. I would referrer family & friends there.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my entire experience. I had cataract surgery in both eyes the first week of August 2018. I had severe myopia with approximately -17 diopters of correction in the right eye pre surgery. After considerable research and consultation with Dr. McGarity, we mutually agreed to correct my dominant right eye for good mid range vision ~ 40 inches and my left eye for near vision (reading distance) - i.e. Blended Vision. I have worn glasses all of my life and wearing glasses for driving was not that big of a deal to me. My reasoning for those choices was because at mid-range (Right Eye) I would be able to perform computer work, and with the close-range (Left Eye) I could read books, newspapers, etc. It has now been about 4 weeks post surgery and I could not be happier with the results. My right eye that was corrected for mid range can actually pass the drivers license eye exam along with functioning well at computer screen distance. My left eye which was corrected for near vision is doing just what it is supposed to do-reading, etc. I have not worn glasses now since surgery for driving or for daily activities around the house. Watching TV is a little tough and I do plan on getting glasses for driving just to clear things up especially for night driving which is a little tough without glasses. Sidenote: My optometrist whom I am now seeing for follow up, tends to think my results are better than expected so everyone may not experience the same results. I also am 62 years old which is younger than a lot of cataract patients and this may have some impact in the good outcome. At any rate, I could not be happier. Warning: The period between surgeries was tough as one eye is corrected and the other not, but you just have to suck it up. Based on my experience, I feel Dr. McGarity is nothing short of a miracle worker and I would highly recommend him. This is without a doubt, the best gift you can even imagine.
