I used to bank with SC Telco and I recently had a deposit issue. Rakeisha was very helpful and Spero should feel great to have her.

Taylor at Pulaski St. branch is one of the best tellers I have ever gotten the pleasure to know. Always a smiling face and wonderful service! Highly recommend anyone visit this branch and see for yourself! Give her a RAISE $$!!

SC Telco Federal Credit Union is the best credit union around! They have good CD rates, car loan rates and customer service! Im glad to be a member!

So I sat on hold from 430 until 5pm and that’s when they close. I really think this is a joke.I will be removing all my money from this location I had a family emergency and I couldn’t even get access to my account. I can’t believe this place.

I had a auto loan with what use to Be SC Telco. Great customer service, never on hold on the phone for more that 10 mins. Great service. Made my payments on time. Paid my auto loan off and got a personal loan through them. Been making on time payments, but come November of this year I went to the ONLY Columbia location to make a payment and the Facility was CLOSED. Closed in the middle of the week. (Which made my payment late) No sign on the doors or windos of the drive thru, no email sent out to member stating they were closed. I live well over an hour from the closest location so I cant come when ever I please. Found out they switched names to another financial institution and when tried to call to make the payment over the phone, I was on hold for well over 30mins. The lady who took my payment over the phone was nice, but then put me on hold for an additional 10 mins, bc I asked a question she couldnt answer. Loan will soon be paid and will never do business with this institution again!

I have been a member of SCTelco since 1992. They have finance 4 autos and one RV for me and I have always had a very good experience with this bank and the people working there like Sylvia McCracken. I hope to be a member for many more years!

I USED to respect SC Telco, not anymore. The employees have always been friendly so that gets them an extra star. The business side of SC Telco is not really any different than a bank. I will be closing my account first thing tomorrow.

Branch in Columbia is awesome!! However customer service line is full of rude reps. I hate having to call and since this branch is the only branch and I live on the other side of town, I usually have to call. They should hire people who actually have customer service skills for the customer service line.Update. I had to call again today and the woman I spoke with on the phone was so rude. I had a fraudulent charge and she told me she couldn’t do anything about it since someone used my PayPal to get to my debit card number. I understand that I had to call PayPal, but she never once said “I’m so sorry” or “Don’t worry we can work it out” she acted like I was wasting her time. I’m so disappointed in this bank right now. Changing my review to 1star.

Criminal organization just like the rest. Its a shame. Ive been dealing with this bank for five years now, having purchased and paid off three cars through them. Their deceitful tricks lure you in; low interest rate typically. I fell for it, now many years later Im watching my hard earned money fizzle away to the negative polarity. The website and phone service intended for checking the balance is very untrustworthy and they will pile on $29 overdrafts past the point of no recovery. Im done being robbed.
