Very nice people & place to do business with! They treat my parents with a great deal of kindness , respect when handling their business affairs.

I had a terrible experience and I am not a customer. I wanted to inquire about a new account and the representative was rude and unhelpful. I made a decision to leave and go to a different all south.

I called today to help my 71yr old father, who can barely hear, to make a payment on his mortgage. When banker answered I explained we had car trouble and can my father make a payment over the phone. Right off the bat her sarcasm made me cringe, well I would need to speak with HIM and not you to verify who he is. Ok so I hand over the phone and my father starts giving her credit card info and exp. Date, etc...To which I wanted to know why she needed that to verify him? I help my father with phone calls all the time and not 1 of the companies have ever done this. In fact usually verify and get his permission to speak to me. After all that he is still asking if he can make a payment (meanwhile looking at me shaking his head-trying to pass the phone to me and repeatedly asking what she said because he didnt understand). Then she she tells him she already did, ok what banker does this without atleast letting the client know what she is doing and never mentioned if a fee is added. My father ask for a confirmation number or reciept number, to which she said we dont have that. So he ask for her name which she refused at first and finally tried to spell it but pronounced the name as Tatiana but very different spelling so my father again could not understand, and at that point she was on speaker and becoming aggrivated with my father. First off, if you dont have phone skills or customer service skills then you need to find a new career, you failed at it the momment you answered the phone and could not answer simple question. I did not ask for his personal info or account info, just a simple question. Conversation could have went way better had he or I spoke to someone who could handle their job. And if his payment was not made or his account today or tampered with then first place I will go with RCSD is to this bank. My father has banked with allsouth probably over 25years and this was a joke. First time I ever delt with them and the last.

Why do Allsouth have the most ancient terminals/ATMs in the world compared to Wellsfargo who have customer friendly and updated ATM machines. With all of the members belonging to Allsouth, you need to step up your game......Get with the 21st century.

Atms need to allow to be able to take money instead of waiting in long lines or rushing to bank to do a deposit
