I went on two separate occasions and both times had a pleasant experience. I love that it is not over crowded and they make everyone wash their hands upon entering. If anything my suggestion would be to have a receptionist everyday they’re open so the technicians can focus on the customers. Overall I would recommend this place it’s affordable, clean and welcoming.

Erika did my full set/pedi and did an amazing job. She was so sweet and patient with me trying to decide what designs I wanted for my nails. I love love love how they came out! The girls of the salon are all really nice!

Expected to be helped today and receive better customer service. I left the salon after waiting 40 mins after my appointment slot. Whats the point of setting up a website with appointment slots if no staff will be attentive to you or even be on time. Really disappointed as I heard good things about this place. I booked an appointment a week in advance via their website since they were fully booked. My appointment was 1:50PM and ended up walking out at 2:40PM. I was tired of waiting! I wasnt even a walk-in! All of the staff was busy when I got there. Like I mentioned before, dont have time slots for appointments if youre not going to be attentive. It was also irritating that there was staff also gossiping in their back room. Couldnt they have helped me? They could have at least offered water or something while waiting. Maybe then I could have waited another 40 mins. A customer did a walk-in and got seated right away and that was it for me! Save your money and time and dont come here. At least in other salons, they sit you right away with an appointment. I received no apology for waiting. Clearly no professionalism runs this place.

Dayana does my nails with the dip powder. So far she has done a great job and is really nice, easy to get along with. All the ladies are nice, genuine and help each other out. Which is nice to witness. The salon is clean and has a Mexican theme, hence the Alebrijes, pops of color provided by the pillows and wall painting

Got a gift certificate from my sister in law to this spa. I tried to make an appointment on line but it wouldnt go through. So I called and made an appointment. My technician was very quite, not really talkative. Very clean, nice facility. I had a gel manicure, and spa pedicure. The manicure was beautiful. I didnt really feel I got a good scrub down of my calluses on my feet though. I had ordered the callus remover and she forgot. I reminded her and she turned around and looked at the manager to confirm. After the manger said, yes I had ordered it, then She put the callus remover on my feet and then stuck my feet in the water straight away. I asked if that was going to be effective and she said yes. I was confused because no one had ever done that at any other salon. Besides that, they offered me water or wine, which was nice. The manager was very attentive and kind as well. I liked the way the mani pedi turned out. Very pretty and matched nicely. When I went to pay, the manager didnt know how to apply the gift certificate on their computer system. So it took a while to figure out. I had 18 dollars left over from my certificate, and she just rounded it off to 20 for my next visit. She couldnt reprint the certificate so she just signed my copy with a 20 dollar credit. It was a nice visit over all. As Im leaving my online appointment goes through. Lol. I had to ask her if they were going to charge my card because the appointment had just gone through. She said not to worry about it, if there was any issues to come back and shed resolve it.

Not like any other nail salon. As soon as you go in, you’re so amazed by the decor and how organized and pretty everything is. This has become my fav nail salon in San Diego. Dayana was amazing! She was super friendly and she recommended different colors on the specific design that I had in mind. I completely love my nails thanks to her. Thank you Dayana!

I went in just for a pedicure and ended up getting a last minute fill. The ladies there were so kind and worked together to accommodate my needs in between clients! They were very affordable too! Definitely recommend going with them!

I went for the first time today and had a lovely experience. Because of my error, my tech was rushed for time. However, she was polite and professional. Even though she was rushed, she still did a terrific job in my nails! I can only imagine what she does with more time! There were also regulars which tends to be a good sign. Definitely putting this place into rotation.

I fell in love with this salon and the lovely people that work here within the first five minutes of being here. First is the calm and serene environment. You definitely feel a sense of comfort and relaxation upon arrival. The salon is always clean and has a very fresh/airy feel, so you know the technician is going to pay close attention to detail and perfect your service.Second is the very friendly staff. Cindy and Gama are the best and very informative. I feel like each time I come here I learn something new about the nail industry and how to care for my nails on my own. My polish stays on for at least 2 weeks and my feet never felt so soft. Their vibe and energy is the icing on the cake. Theyre very chill yet attentive! I really appreciate them being in the neighborhood and Im sure they are here to stay! Oh and my daughter loves them too😉!!

My teenage daughter and I got manicures today. We didnt catch the gentlemans name but he was amazing! He explained all the steps he was doing on our nails. Very knowledgeable, nice and patient. The nail salon is very clean and nicely decorated. Prices were great. I would recommend this nail place 100%.

Dont choose Maria! She deserves less than one star! Confirmed first time appointment a week ago for 10:00 today, when they open. I waited for over 10 minutes before Maria (owner/manager) came sauntering in. Another lady came in around 10:15, so Maria went over to chat with her for 5 minutes or more, then took HER into another room. I waited until 10:35 & no Maria..not an acknowledgement, not an apology..no word at all! I left completely unsatisfied & mad as hell by her arrogance! Bad business practice & unprofessional.

Absolutely LOVE this place!! First timer and Gama is great! I will definitely keep coming back. Love the music, the peaceful environment, not to mention a 60 second walk from my house. I feel so relaxed and I love my nails!

I went to Maria Bonita for the first time two days ago. The customer service was exceptional. I did leave there a little disappointed with the design I received. The gal that worked on my nails was very busy and had her next appt waiting so I didnt say anything. My mistake. I called today and explained how I was not happy with the design and having paid a pretty penny wanted to see about them fixing the design. The manager told me go in, looked at the design and agreed with me. Awesome Brenda fixed my design to my satisfaction at no charge. Great attitude about it too! Will be back! Thank you, ladies!

I fell in love with this salon, I went to a different nail salon a family member recommended to me which did a horrible job! I was so upset! I walked into Espa salon and they seen the horrible job the other salon did. They were very welcoming and fixed my nails. They made me feel so comfortable. I even took my mom there, which she fell in love with the great staff, cleanliness, and the calm energy. We can definitely call this salon our nail home.

I made a appointment for a mani/pedi and was having it special for my special Birthday and said they didnt have my appointment. So wrong! I was so sad! My person I made my appointment with I assume took another person instead of me cause she was busy and couldnt do me for 1 more hour. The women had a guy next to her getting a pedicure so think they just take who they want and my appointment didnt matter. Beautiful salon but not a way to run a business. So many other nice salons out there.

I enjoyed getting my eyebrows done at Espa Salon, I love the energy of the place and the ladies working there are extremely friendly, it feels very cozy and like at home. I have recommended to friends and family and look forward to going back. Thank you ladies.

I went in and had the very worst haircut I have ever had. The owner was right beside us and knew how bad it was and did not help.I left and went immediately to another shop and got it fixed as best it could be. I could not go out in public the way it was.

I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. This place is AMAZING and a gem. They were able to work me in same day on a Saturday. They took their time and I never felt rushed. Prices are super reasonable and my regular mani/pedi (no gel or acrylics) lasted for 2 weeks! 🙌🏻

I happened upon this fresh and modern nail salon a couple of weeks after its opening. I walked in to see if they could remove a terrible acrylic nail job I had done at another place. The acrylic was thick and the gel polish was uneven. I wanted a safe way to remove it and keep my natural nail healthy and intact.I was blown away! They did such a great job and the prices are so reasonable. I just went back tonight for a pedicure and paraffin wax treatment on my hands. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All the way! I booked my gel polish change for Monday. I will always book my mani and pedis here and tell all my friends too!They are brand new right now and small, so be patient with the one technician they have. You have to book appintments right now, but its worth it I promise!

I have been to my fair share of nail salons and this is one of the best ones Ive been to! Very clean, inviting, classy and relaxing. I made an appt and was surprised that they honored it. Most salons, even with an appt, you end up waiting. Not here. I was greeted by a lady up front as they got the foot bath ready. Stephanie did a great job with my pedi/mani and was patient with me choosing my colors. Loved her! My nails look great! Very satisfied with my entire experience there. I will definitely be back. :)

I have lived in the Otay Ranch community for over 15 years , this shop opened up recently in our community and has some of the rudest people working there. If youre new make in community you would think that you would try and gain customers in the community..
