Dr. Fang is the best. I went to him for a second opinion and he gave me his honest advice. Excellent chair side manner. He explained everything to me in detail. He is a very honest person with great attitude. I will definitely go back to him. He told me he would get back to me in a week with more information and he did. He is amazing. His office staff is just as wonderful as him.

I had an appointment today and Elle and Dr. Fang were so nice and courteous. Today was my first time ever going there and they spoke to me to calm my nerves and were nice enough to work with me as far as my payments for treating. I would highly recommend anyone to come this dentist office. They were also both very knowledgeable about teeth and their overall jobs! I give this place a 5 star!

While it’s easier to remember to review a place when you know you had a bad experience or received a defective product and you want to warn others not to fall for the trap, every now and then you find a gem of a place where you know you have to give them the 5 stars they deserve. First dental is one of these places.From the friendly service, to the inviting atmosphere, it’s no question that this is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to in my life. They’re easy to talk to over the phone and in person, you know the price before hand and can plan yourself accordingly and should there be a hiccup in your schedule they’re very apologetic about it. They have a sweet dog for those who are comfortable with dogs and make you feel comfortable during your procedure with music, Netflix and essential oils. They constantly check in on you to make sure you’re okay too.Now I’m not saying that I want to have a cavity or get a root canal…but if I did, I know just where to go :)

6/5 stars. Everybody in this place has a great attitude and it shows. Dr Feng does such a good job explaining dental stuff in normal terms and why something is happening with your teeth and the best treatment for it. I had several good experiences with them already and just recently was seen on short notice at a very reasonable cost about an unexpected dental issue, which they fixed, and also gave me a token of celebration to boot when I mentioned my big day was tomorrow!!! As long as I am on Chicago this will be my dentist.

I LOVE this place! Dr. Feng is very patient and friendly; he even provides sideshows when I ask him questions !! The staff are also very welcoming and easy to talk to (I actually enjoy the wait because I get to chat with them). But the very best part is that they provide weighted blankets, scented neck pillows, and Netflix, in order too easy the nerves thats comes with going to the dentist.

I went with my Daughter for her preventive care exam and we loved the practice. From entering through the door till we exited which was an hour later we were greeted, cared for and very well informed. My almost 6 year old was giggling on the dentist chair while getting her teeth polished.. what else can i say? Thank you for the amazing care and service.

I had some issues originally coming to this office but have been visiting for years now and have really enjoyed the relationship overall. The technicians and doctor are VERY efficient, friendly and very helpful. I also LOVE that they invest in modern technology to service their patients. I moved away for a year but still drove out to First Dental Center for dental services. Ive had cleanings, a crown and a mouth guard handled well by Dr. Feng. I recommend this facility to anyone needing a dentist.

I cannot find the words to describe how happy I am to find this place !! HONESTLY! I had my first visit today and I am absolutely satisfied already! All staff I met were nice and polite ! Everyone was genuinely kind! The positive vibes they give is just amazing to me. I uploaded a photo that I have taken when I was there ! And YES you will see that those words are TRUE when you are there !Now when it comes to Dr Fang, he is friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and honest about his service! He tells you exactly what you need and would discuss it with you. Also I loved to see how humble and polite he is. The assistant who first took my Xrays was very friendly and understanding! They knew what they were doing and they explained everything along the way.I am glad I waited for my appointment! Definately keeping the service and I hope I will never have to switch.

I was referred here by a friend. Everyone was ridiculously nice. Ive never had problems going to a dentist, and went in for a routine cleaning. It was very pleasent experience and I highly recommend. The Dr. Was very knowledgeable and informative. Best of all not pushy. Very happy to have finally found my dentist.

First Dental Center has been our dentist the entire time we lived in Chicago. Such great people! Going to the dentist can be scary for kids (sometimes even for adults)... they made it very pleasant for me and my family. I really cant say enough good things about them. I hope our next dentist is as good as they are.

Not only was the treatment excellent, but they also are wonderful at educating issues when looking at your X-Rays. From the moment I stepped through the doors and saw the cozy waiting room I could feel the care and attention to detail the team at First Dental put into making patients like me feel comfortable. I felt the warm welcome from Caleb (the receptionist) and the TLC from Nicole (the dental assistant). Went in for an emergency consultation with Dr. Winston Feng and was impressed with him and his entire staff. He was very thorough, attentive, and explained everything in great detail, despite the fact I was admitted on a short notice. The clinic is clean and modern with advanced dental equipment. Wait time was less than 10 minutes since I showed up at the reception. I can see why this center gets so many fantastic reviews and now myself became a fan of Dr. Feng and his wonderful staff. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m looking forward to my main procedure in upcoming weeks.

Stopped in on a Thursday to find out if I could make an appointment for a check up. Got an appointment for the following Tuesday in which I was very happy because most doctors appointments are usually months apart. Everything went well and I got the best advice on what I needed. I love my dentist! I have chronic anxiety issues and have had awful experiences with dentist to the point of neglecting my oral health. The fear was real! But the Doc and his team are not only efficient, but very cognizant and considerate of the real mental health issues associated with dentistry. They make the atmosphere warm, comfortable and make you feel at ease. No attitudes, no rushing, go at your own pace and it’s made for amazing results. My teeth are strong, look amazing and I feel safe with him and his staff. We still have a bit of a ways to go on my dental journey but I’m in more than capable hands and can’t wait to see how things turn out. Highly recommend!

This was THE BEST experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been traumatized by many dentists before causing me to go years between visits to the detriment of my oral health. From setting up my appointment alone, I knew before stepping into the office that my visit at First Dental Center would be different in the best way and I was 100% right. The staff from the front desk to the back you’re so personable and friendly. Even the other patients in the waiting room we’re kind and seem to be in good spirits. No one seem nervous or anxious to get in and get out. Dr. Feng took time to get to know me as a person before me as just another patient. I was honestly almost moved to tears during my visit because of how wonderful of an experience it was. I am so grateful that I found them. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Dr. Feng is great. After check my X- ray. He pinpoint my pain came from my muscle. I followed his instruction and relax, all my pain gone without medicine. This dental center even have following up service to make sure my pain had gone. Awesome dentist, awesome service

The staff here are amazing! I searched for quite some time to find the right new dentist and Dr. Feng is the best. Each visit is filled with helpful instruction and follow up. I had to have a procedure done, and they checked in on my healing progress for a few days after to make sure I was doing well. I feel very comfortable and welcome each appointment and the kindness and care for their work shows.

I have to agree with most of the reviewers here. I have very positive experience of visiting First Dental Center. People from front desk staff Caleb to Dr. Feng are very friendly and professional. The whole experience made me feel that they put patients first. They respect patient’s time by informing me that they were running late on another procedure. They provided a heated neck pillow during the procedure to make me feel soothing and comfortable. I am not an animal person but the therapy dog’s presence seemed to help. My front tooth along with other teeth had some chipping for a while, none of my prior dentists took actions to fix them. Dr. Feng fixed the issue quickly. I have seen many dentists in the past and was not “loyal” to any of them until now. I thought I would never like visiting dentist in my life. I was wrong. I can honestly say I enjoy visiting my dentist first time in my life.

I can’t believe I’m actually writing a good review of a dentist. After dreading and fearing it for 15+ years I finally went. And I cannot recommend First Dental Center enough, especially for those of us with extreme fears and trauma.Caleb was SO helpful on the phone when I called to inquire about ‘maybe one day thinking about possibly maybe making an appointment…maybe.’ He was SO KIND letting me know what to expect, telling me all about the practice, the staff and even the plants in the lobby (which are beautiful btw). He made me feel so optimistic that I even scheduled a new patient exam.Lila the office dog really got me through it. She let me pet her with my nervous clammy hands from start to finish. She is an angel.The tech, hygienists and Dr. Feng were incredible. I actually laughed and forgot I was in my scariest place on earth several times. I got a warm neck pillow and a weighted blanket. They treated me like the only patient there and they were happy to hold my hand and calm me down as long as I needed it (which was a while). Dr. Feng was so informative and laughed at all my bad humor-as-a-coping-mechanism jokes.He takes a more holistic system-wide approach and considers your whole medical history to discuss root causes (for things like tooth grinding) and he’s not just slapping a bandaid on a bad tooth. He spent way more time discussing helpful things and going over the X-rays than poking and prodding.My visit and cleaning was so simple I was actually astonished when I checked out and assumed I would be scheduling a follow-up visit, because that couldn’t possibly be it?! But it was!They are not there to make money or do anything you don’t need. They were so chill and I actually almost enjoyed my time there. Really life-changing for someone who has never ever had a positive (or even ok) dental experience before. I probably won’t even nervous puke before my next cleaning in 6-months. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Very warm atmosphere and a pleasing place to be when no one wants to go to the dentist in the first place. The hygienist and staff were very knowledgeable and very open with me about my dental health. They gave me great feedback and even went the extra step to walk me through how to read an X-Ray. There is also a TV you can watch while your teeth are being cleaned, with very calming scenes of nature (I thought this was a wonderful touch). I would highly recommend First Dental. There’s good reason this office is so highly rated. Every single person in the office (including the office mascot, Lila 🐶) is incredible. They make you feel known, understood and cared for. I had a root canal today and was terrified but Dr. Feng and staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and it absolutely worked. I had a weighted blanket, headphones to listen to music, and a heated neck pillow. I almost fell asleep. I will forever recommend others to this office!!! Love First Dental!! ♥️

I honestly cant remember a friendlier dental staff. The office itself is cozy and inviting. And they went to extra lengths to make my 13-year old comfortable. Since it was my first time, Im not sure if they always offer an entire pack of stickers to a kiddo, or if that was something they pulled out of a hat because I mentioned in our intake form that she liked getting stickers at her old dentist. But it was that level of service. And the exam and cleaning themselves seemed solid. We didnt waste a bunch of time waiting in the chair like at other dentists. The hygienist gave my daughter a mirror while she flossed my daughters teeth, and explained/showed her exactly how to do it. They gave her orange-flavored polish and pumpkin-flavored fluoride, after I mentioned she didnt like mint. I could go on. I hope all the future visits are as positive.

I love this place! We even follow each other on Instagram. 😂 Everyone is so kind and welcome and funny! I feel so relaxed and safe. I always hated the dentist because it felt like my old dentist was stuck in the past. This place - is the FUTURE - they provide you sunglasses and lip balm for your cleaning and if you have a cavity, they give you noise cancelling headphones to block out the drilling noise AND turn on Netflix (I chose the great British baking show) to make your procedure even more relaxing. I wish I could spend my free time here. I love it that much! Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing staff and skilled workers. I myself am not afraid of dentists however my wife is utterly terrified when it comes down to it. Here they did everything possible to make it a relaxing experience from explaining the procedure down to utilizing their comfort menu. My wife went through the root canal with at most a bit of pressure felt through the whole procedure. The next day still no pain! I thank you for all the great work with my wife and have referred all of my family and friends to this office.

On my recent visit treated like family is usual..I had a teeth cleaning Dr Gina did my cleaning she was very gentle. She also told me what I need to do to keep my teeth and gums healther..Samantha is already a favorite of mines in short time..She has a good heart and always a joy to see. Dr Feng who is always awesome is amazing just like his father. All in all they are good people and that is why I come so far for the best dental care.

I admittedly took too long between dentist visits, partially because I was looking for a new place to get cleanings, x-rays and examinations. I went over to First Dental Center and was treated very nicely upon my first visit. The staff was very polite and helpful! In terms of my cleaning, Kenneth Park did a wonderful job examining and cleaning my teeth which had been long overdue. I was provided a weighted blanket and other amenities to make the cleaning process as comfortable as possible. I 10/10 recommend First Dental Center and will be making appointments to take care of all my dental needs here.

I recently moved and was looking for a new dentist and I hit the jack pot. Dr. Feng was so friendly and knowledgeable. He helped my boyfriend with some sleep apnea problems he’s been dealing with for years. The whole staff was amazing and so accommodating (office mascot, Lila, was the cutest)! The menu of options you can pick from while having your visit was the coolest thing I’ve seen at a dentist office. Highly recommend the warm neck pillow 😉 If you’re looking for a new dentist I cannot recommend First Dental Center enough!

I had put putting going to the dentist since Covid started but due to a filling falling out, I had to make the trip. Having just moved to Chicago, I needed a new dentist and First Dental was just around the corner. When I called, Caleb answered and was helpful and kind. They were able to fit me in that day.The place is friendly and they have strict Covid protocols. I always felt safe. They had me in and out with a new filling in no time and were chatty and respectful the while time. The made sure that I knew what they were doing.I will be coming to this place for my regular check ups and cleanings.

Dr. Feng is great. The dental hygienists are fabulous. The staff is friendly and warm, and the office itself is super clean and organized. I went during the pandemic and felt safe. I also love how responsive they are offline (I was able to schedule my appt entirely via text message). No complaints here!

Definitely only coming here now. I have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist but this place is really friendly, patient and kind. The entire team took extra steps ensure I was comfortable and ease my stress. They created a really positive vibe. And my first root canal was 100% painless.

I’ve seen several dentists in recent months to get a better grasp of my current issue and this office was the first place I felt confident about my options.Dr. Winston Feng not only made me feel at ease but also thoroughly explained every detail so I had a much better understanding of what was going on. Laura at the front desk was super personable and kind and the other staff were equally as welcoming. I’ll be returning to start my implant process and I’m in shock that I’m not a nervous wreck about it. Would absolutely recommend!

Absolutely wonderful dental staff, they make sure that you feel comfortable and relaxed during your appointment. Great level of service, very clean facility and excellent COVID protocols. The staff is very understanding and explain everything to you without it being a lecture or a scolding. Dr. Feng is very friendly, knowledgeable and takes his time to take care of you. Also absolutely loved the warm neck pillow.

I am a new patient and just had my first appointment today. I felt taken care from the moment of requesting an appointment to leaving the building after my appointment. First Dental has Covid protocols in place that helped calm nerves. Everyone I came in contact with was so kind and accommodating. I will be a returning customer and recommend this practice to anyone looking for superb, personalized service.

I’m not a big dentist fan. I’m a wuss, so it’s no disrespect to the profession or the people. Everyone that I worked with was great! Alessa, Dr. Feng, and my hygienist all made me feel at ease and listened to my concerns. Dr Feng was brilliant at explaining why everything was so important using visual queues, professional knowledge and relating to what my teeth and gums look like for me personally.

When I first called, I couldn’t get through on the phone but I was surprised to receive a text immediately after the call. I was able to schedule my appointment and complete my patient information within a few minutes. This saved a lot of time from having to do in the office. Once at the office, everything went smoothly and I felt very safe with the measures they took to limit the spread of germs. I would definitely recommend this place.Also, if you’re lucky you may get to see their mascot, she was such a cutie!

Efficient on time high grade services.

I had probably the best experience possible (for going to the dentist) at First Dental Center! You can tell they’re trying to modify the experience of going to the dentist - and they’re doing a fantastic job of it!Everyone in the office was lovely and down to earth. Dr. Feng was friendly but efficient, answered my questions clearly, and even modified the treatment options to fit me personally.I’m glad to have found a dentist I won’t dread going to in the future, and I’ll be recommending them highly to friends!

First Dental Center is great! Caleb at the front desk is so personable and makes you feel so comfortable. Nicole was so gentle and nice x-raying my teeth. Dr.Feng was also gentle and friendly. Everyone really enjoys working there and that’s a reflection of the culture Dr.Feng promotes in his workspace. Dr.Feng took the time to explain my x-rays and answered all of my questions patiently. If you’re nervous when you need to visit the dentist, I recommend choosing First Dental Center and Dr.Feng.
