Loved Dr. Mahi and thought I had found *my* dentist but unfortunately the admin staff was not knowledgeable around insurance and gave false information on payment which led to an overall poor experience for me. I would not return only because I dont trust that the staff is able to understand insurance information and the cost patients will actually be required to pay.

The office and the equipment were very clean and maintained. The staff are professional and kind. Made me feel comfortable and relaxed specially with following all the protocols during COVID-19.I did both my botox and filling with Dr. Mahi and five star is not enough to show my satisfaction with the results.

I personally would not recommend Lincoln Shine. During my routine exam, several cavities were found. I made an appointment on the spot for two days later. When I showed up for that appointment, they claimed to have absolutely no record of the appointment, and they claimed to not even remember seeing me? Literally two days later. I watched her check her availability when we had scheduled it.That being said, they did squeeze me in after about a half hour and were very apologetic. But I cant get over how they acted like I was crazy and had no memory of scheduling the appointment just two days before.

I am so thrilled that I found Lincoln Shine Dental. I have the worst dental anxiety (i.e crying in the chair before anything has happened) and the entire team did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. Rose is a super hero - she eased my fears immediately and made then X-ray process quick and easy. Dr. Mahi was honest and explained everything in detail. I immediately trusted her to get the job done and to do it well. I have to go back for fillings and I’m not nearly as nervous as I have been in the past. Dr. Mahi’s beautiful facility and caring staff make going to the dentist a breeze.

Was not able to take off work for one of my appointments. When I attempted to reschedule they let me know I owed them an egregious fee for this, even though no work had been done. Ill find a dentist who wont try to nickel and dime me around every corner.

Office is super nice and explains the details about insurance or billing.Dr. Mahi is honest and does amazing work! Highly recommend!

Dr. Mehr and her team are truly the best. They make sure you are comfortable during your visit. They are very thorough, yet gentile at the same time. They are very friendly, and give you multiple options to solve a problem. Not to mention Dr. Mehrs Cute dog which makes the visit even better!

I am really pleased with this dentist. She is gentle and doesnt hurt. She is very professional with her exams and dental procedures. She fixed my daughters root canal that another dentist did not finish.She transformed my daughters teeth into star teeth. The dental hygienists are friendly and professional. Everyone was nice and comforting as this was my first extraction it was so quick and painless I was surprised when I was told it was done!

Dr. Mahi was very thorough, welcoming and made sure I understood what was going on with my teeth & gums. I was a bit nervous, but her calm demeanor put me at ease. She was kind and made sure I chose the best treatment options for myself while taking costs into account, as I do not have dental insurance. The staff was caring and kind. The temp hygienists was kind and made sure to explain what she was doing each step of the way. I already scheduled my follow-up appointment for treatment and my next 6-month cleaning.

I have a friend by the name of Darren Brown who is a patient of Lincoln Shine Dental. Looking at his smile and his teeth I can tell that extra care goes into taking care of his smile. As soon as I walked in to Lincoln shine, I was pleased. First thing I noticed was professional staff behavior. I was really impressed by the office design by the way. Dr Mahi is very professional and reliable dentist who goes through all the details that you might need to know. Pros: everyone in the office (including the Doctor) are extremely nice, Hazel (Doctors dog), super easy to make an appointment that isnt pushed out months and months, extended hours to accommodate work schedules, easy communication (via texting)Cons: I DO feel as though I was rushed the few times I was in the office and I feel that there was a little bit of hesitation or even annoyance when I was asking about some of the procedures that were being done, but this is all personal perception and nothing I would use to advise people against having dental work hereOne thing I would like to say is that in addition to having a routine cleaning, I had a crown cemented on my front tooth. For me personally, it was something that was scary for me to have done as it was the center tooth. Dr. Mahi (AND her staff) were all extremely supportive and understanding and took time out of their schedules to talk to me about my concerns (they even asked me to stay for a cup of coffee once they saw my distress). While Dr. Mahi was cementing in the crown she kept me informed of what was happening throughout, and did some additional side work on my other teeth that I was not scheduled to have done. Overall, I really felt that my experience here was positive. Ive never felt more supported by a dentists office! :)

Edit: Within hours of the review below, Dr. Mahi reached out to me directly. Barring any changes, it sounds like my reimbursement is now being processed. I wish the whole thing had happened sooner, but I respect Lincoln Shines commitment to customer service and have upgraded my review from a 1 star to a 3 star to reflect that.Very frustrated with my experience here. Like many others, my actual appointment with Dr. Mahi was excellent. However, my secondary insurance processed my claims nearly two months ago (I have documentation of this). Ive called and emailed the office several times about where my $220 reimbursement is, as the secondary insurance covered the entire portion I had to front upon appointment. The office has been at best apologetic and at worst unresponsive to my contact. Its really poor management to make clients go several months waiting for payment. Ill post an update if and when they follow up, but I wanted others to know. Again, my actual appointment was great, but this is incredibly inaccesible protocol.

Please let me start by saying that Lincoln Shine Dental is a very peaceful environment with very friendly staff. People who know me know how much I do not like seeing a dentist and during the past several years I unfortunately didnt get my teeth checked as often as I should have which was the reason I didnt have healthy teeth at my age (Im 30) but finally I have found a dentist who doesnt make me feel that way anymore, thank god! Not only Dr. Mahi is such a great dentist but she also knows how to create an environment for those who fear seeing a dentist to be comfortable while she works on their teeth. She has worked on a few of my teeth already and Im very satisfied with her job. In case you are scared of needles I have to tell you that I dont not even feel it when she injected the numbing injections. Im so happy and satisfied to have her as my dentist and I recommend her to everyone!

Today I went in for a cleaning and X-ray. First and foremost the level of customer service and professionalism demonstrated by the staff is beyond compare. The office itself is beautiful, clean and welcoming. Personally Im not fond of trips to the dentist, however the level of skill that Dr.Mahi consistently executed throughout the visit was spectacular in every way. I called in last minute. I was an emergency patient after the temporary crown my other dentist did for me popped out (my fault - I chewed on gum when I was told not to) and Dr Mahi was as nice as could be about it. She took me in last minute, worked me into her schedule and got me in and out with no pain, while cementing my crown back in. She knew I was frightened and hates Dentists, but was able to make me not hate being there. She has a gift. Chicago local or not, I recommend this practice to anyone looking for an outstanding Dentist who knows what they are doing

After avoiding my last dentist for a couple of years because I didnt like going there, finding Dr. Mehr at Lincoln Shine Dental was worth the wait! Her office is beautiful inside, and its so obvious that she truly cares about her patients. I was at ease as soon as I walked inside for my appointment. I spent years at my old dentist and never really knew the reasoning behind some of the things that he did, but Dr. Mehr had a little book to show me what she was checking for. I ended up having a couple cavities, and was happy that she was so nonjudgmental about them. Her receptionist is also very kind and helped me come up with a plan to space out my future appointments so I wouldnt have to pay for everything at once. Im headed there later today...and Im actually for once looking forward to going to the dentist! Do yourself a favor, go see Dr. Mehr!!

Ive only had my initial x-ray/cleaning so far, so I cant speak to the quality of fillings, crowns, etc. However what I experienced was professional and well explained. Everything is modern and appears well maintained.The lobby has a small assortment of snacks/drinks for those waiting.The dental rooms have tvs with Netflix that the patient can use.The staff were all courteous and helpful.No complaints from my initial visit.I originally found this location through an opencare (app) listing.

I found Lincoln Shine Dental through Open Care. First off, let me begin by saying I NEVER write Google reviews -- but after my experience with Dr. Mahi, I felt it was the only right thing to do seeing as she has changed my outlook on dentists all together.
