It was my first time going here so I had a consultation and did X-rays. I can’t believe how welcoming and professional this place is. What stood out to me the most is how they have you fill out a questionnaire to understand your overall health and to see if you have any conditions. They truly care about their patients! This will be my permanent dentist from now on.

Overall great experience. They were welcoming made sure to explain pricing for me since I don’t have insurance. I like the Covid protocol. The doctor and staff were great! I don’t like going to the dentist at all just from past experiences if I didn’t have to get my fillings don’t I probably wouldn’t have gone but I’m happy I did, they were sweet and gentle made sure I was comfortable. I scheduled my next apt!

After moving to Chicago, I couldnt find a reliable, honest dentist. That is until I found Big Smile Dental. Dr. Kim is amazing and provides a great experience. I have been coming here since 2007. Dr. Siegel installed my braces in 2007 until 2010 I was hard headed and didnt always listen to his instructions so I had to wear them an extra 10 months. The environment at Big Smile is always welcoming and caring. The staff and doctors really care. If you are looking for a dentist look no further. Call them asap to make an appointment. No to mention I havent been to his office 2014 its now 2021 I still had a balance of 300.00 they didnt say well you have to pay your balance 1st before you will be serviced. I paid my balance I love this place. Everyone at Big Smile continue doing what yall are doing its working. And Thanks again.

Visited to day for cracked tooth. Doctor and assistant were kind, knowledgeable, and very well geared covid wise. Also extremely patient. Double masked (N95 plus a dental.) They made me an emergency appointment yesterday for next appointment. I have no dental insurance so had to pay for the procedure same day. Took about an hour from start to finish. Surprising because my tooth was pretty broken up and I had a root canal done to it so he had to remove all the posts. I felt relatively safe during but will update if anything changes health wise.

Been coming here since l was born and every time I come each staff member is always friendly and always welcoming, not once have they ever failed, every time I go it’s always better and better and better, they always take care of my family and l and it’s not just sitting there getting your teeth cleaned or whatever you are in for, while they are working with you, you can actually have a conversation with them because they are so friendly, and everyone has always been great and when I move to Texas I will still come all the way to Chicago just to get my teeth done here.

Everyone here is very pleasant and professional. The office is very clean and with covid-19 they take extra precautions to ensure a healthy space for patients. They even communicate prior to your appointment via text messaging what exact time to come in so that social distancing is in place.Ive been coming here for more than a year and Im always pleased with my routine exams and cleanings. During my fillings today I almost felt as if I can fall asleep without any discomfort. Now if you feel as if you can sleep at a dentist office you know youre in the right place!

So far my experience is so great here and I haven’t even gotten my veneers in yet. The doctor is so helpful and he’s in constant communication with my orthodontist to make sure my teeth are spaced just right so he can work his magic. I can’t wait to get them . I had a cracked tooth that was giving me pain and was looking to remove it. Went in and saw Dr Patel. She and her staff were very informative and very polite. They explained to me that a root canal was the best option and I was so afraid of getting it because of horror stories I heard of. My experience was was the total opposite. Her and her assistant made sure I was comfortable, relaxed and I did not feel any pain during the procedure. They consistently checked on me through the process and were as gentle as possible. I know I am in good hands when I go for the second process of my root canal. Thank you so much to the staff for being polite and to Dr Patel and her assistant for taking care of patients with such care !

The place is not clean. The equipment is old. The prices in they advertise are not true. False information about discounts for seniors and lied about a discount for paying upfront without insurance. The quality of the x-rays I received are bad. When consulting for a second opinion they were not helpful for a diagnosis. They asked for $25 for a copy of your own x-rays. When asked to repeat them, they wanted me to pay more for additional x-rays. I would look for another place before going here.

Today I had the most painless and stress free dental visit I’ve ever had at Big Smile Dental! I had a deep cleaning with Martha who is amazing, she talked me through the whole process and was very gentle. I also had a filling done with Dr. Kim. She is speedy yet thorough and also very gentle. I like that she explains everything she’s doing. I can tell the staff here loves their work. It’s a pleasant experience from checking in to checking out. The reception staff is so nice and welcoming. I have to say I will no longer fear the dentist chair and I’m super happy about that!

When I called in to get info about there office Maria was very nice and very professional, I disclose to her I dislike dentist. She assured me Dr Kim is nice, friendly and goes on your pace specially if your scared of dentist. Me being the patient I wont believe til I see it with my own eyes. I also asked if they could give me a call if they had any cancellations, they sure did. The day of my appointment... One they take Covid 19 very seriously. They check your temperature once you walk-in, they tell you go wash your hands for 30sec. Love it, that was part of my concern getting sick. They wiped down stuff after every patient you could tell they are a very clean office. Shortly after doing online paperwork I waited about 10min or less, the dental hygienist came got me. I explained to her Im very nervous, she explained what she was doing as she was going. Shortly after her taking x-rays Dr Kim came in looked at the pictures and x-rays. Then she explained to me my issue and the solution. My biggest thing I liked she listened, took her time to explain what should I do.She put numbers together. Then her receptionist came in and explain to you what your being charged. They give you the option of doing your procedure the day off or another day that works better for you. I choose to do everything same day, and because I liked the service very much Im doing same day review.After choosing to have my minor procedure done, Dr Kim came in few min later. Explained what she was doing as shes going. (To all the chickens that dont like dentist and needles, she has soft hands I barely even felt the needle and no pain when she was injecting the lidocaine.) She really did a great job and she literally will be my dentist from now on. Her professionalism, understanding, and her listening made my visit very comfortable. Thanks Dr Kim.

I went here originally because of the special they were offering on Invisalign. I assumed it was gonna be like every other dentist office. I was completely wrong.This is easily the best dentist office In the mid-west. I’m originally from Kentucky. I’ve gone to the dentist there, Indiana, Iowa and other states. I’ve never met a staff that for the 2 years I’ve been going here, every single time I walk in they are welcoming, attentive, and flexible.Dr.Siegle is the best dentist I’ve ever met in my life. He did my Invisalign and worked a miracle. Every single time I went to him to, he explained the process, was always in a good mood, and performed excellent work. I went from huge gaps in my front teeth to a perfect smile because of him. We even did some touch ups after it was done to even my teeth out.Overall, if you’re searching for a dentist office, I highly recommend big smile dental. You will not be disappointed.

Everyone at Big Smile is so nice and caring. They even give a discount if you dont have insurance! I am a person who has stayed away from the dentist, due to a lack of finances and a general fear, for years. Now that I am making the effort to take care of my dental health I feel lucky to be doing it with Big Smile for sure. Even though I dread dental work I feel much better knowing Ill be taken care of by friendly and skilled professionals right around the corner from my home.

Wonderful!! Always wonderful!! Its been 30 years now since we first came to Big Smile Dental. Every visit is always met with kind and courteous help at the front desk. I always feel very cared for and the care is gentle. I live 40 miles away from Logan Square now, but I still travel to see Dr. Siegel because I trust him as a person and as a professional. Her work was excellent, as well as being quick and painless. She communicated my treatment plan perfectly. They worked with my insurance to ensure that I received the maximum value from my plan, while helping to limit my out of pocket costs. They even were able to offer extended payments for any treatments that werent fully covered. I will recommend them to all of my family, friends, and coworkers. Top Notch!!!

I spent a lot of time trying to find the right practice, since I have had some really bad experiences in the past with dental work. The office staff are extremely customer service focused and very accommodating. The hygentists are very reassuring, which is great if you have had a bad experience in the past. Dr Kim, I cant say enough good things about her, hands down the best. I was back and forth about having cosmetic procedure done. Dr Kim is the reason I chose to go with the clinic, she has the best bedside manor. Overall, this is the first time in my adult life that I actually feel at ease when I go to the dentist and having any work done.

Made an appointment last Monday for their $1 check up. I was surprised by how nice the place looked once I got inside. The check up was very thorough. Their was 18 x-rays which is more than twice as much as any other dentist has given me. I’m sure the more the better but it did get to be a bit much. I went to get my teeth whitened a week later and the results are exactly what i was hoping there. All the hygienists/assistants there are wonderful and I can’t wait to go back!!

Big Smile is amazing. I went cuz of the giant Teeth in top of the building, stayed for the amazing people there and quick service. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr. Kim is 11/10 and fixed my chipped tooth perfectly. Feels good as new. Cant speak high enough praises. Most people are scared of the dentist. Bet you wont be if you go here :)

Quality in every way. They LISTEN!!!! My hygienist Martha diligently and gently cleaned my teeth and even double checked to make sure it would be covered by my insurance before taking x-rays. Ellie and Elizabeth, the dental assistants were friendly and helpful too. When Dr. Siegel came in for the exam portion, he listened to my concerns about grinding my teeth and gave me several options of ways to move forward. He actually took the time to answer all of my questions and come up with a custom option for me. They genuinely care about their patients here. They even worked me in the same day to take care of a filling! And the massage chair made getting all of this dental work relaxing. Good people. Excellent dentistry.

I visited every 6 months for 10 years and never had a cavity in that time. I started going because I was touched that they did free dental work for all every year on Feb 14th, and found what I expected: a company culture of generosity and friendliness.

Went for the $1 check up and it was just that, no strings attached and not too pushy to book the next appointment. I also suspected my past dentist of exaggerating my dental situation, and Big Smile was honest and confirmed that it wasnt nearly as dire as suggested at another office. I appreciated the professionalism and honesty here.

After having years of nothing but terrible Dental Care with the military, I was put off of dentists for a while. I got recommended to this office from a friend of mine and I have to say Dr. Kim is hands down one of the greatest people Ive ever met, she is honest straightforward but not cold. I used to work for a periodontist so I’m particular about dental care. After disappointing experiences elsewhere I researched for months before deciding on Big Smile Dental. Just moved to Chicago and was in a bad pinch to find a emergency dentist! I called them up and they got me a appt a few hours later! They were very nice and pleasant at the front desk from the start. The dental assistant that took my x-rays was one of the nicest caring ladies I have ever met in a medical field. Truly cared about her patients. The doctor was very nice as well. I had to get my tooth extracted and it went smoothly and had the best comfort I could. I highly recommend going here, I will be getting my future work done here as well.

As luck would have it, I lost a filling in the back of my mouth while my usual dentist was out of town. He was scheduled to remain out of town for several weeks, in fact. Never lost a filling before, so I was alarmed and also concerned the area might develop an infection or further deteriorate. Searched emergency dental and called several offices hoping for weeknight or Saturday availability given that I dont have flexibility with my current work situation, and luckily Big Smile Dental squeezed me in for Saturday morning. The experience was pure professionalism, from start to finish. I was in and out of the office within an hour--in that span, I did new-patient paperwork (all digital) and they took X-rays and pictures of my tooth, conducted an exam limited to that area, and did thorough work of putting in a composite (tooth-colored) filling. I appreciated that a member of the desk staff provided me with an outline of costs I could expect given the potential scenarios for this tooth. I agreed to have the tooth filled immediately. And as it turns out, there was no need for a crown buildup after all, so that was to my benefit from a financial standpoint.Thanks so much for accommodating me, Big Smile Dental! I was really pleased with my experience and wont hesitate to call again.PS: Those of you who have dental-procedure anxiety would like Lucy, the hygienist at my appointment. I drive 30 minutes just to visit this office. Dr. Siegel is great and so is the entire staff. They are very accommodating. No joke. There is no other dentist Id rather work with than Big Smile. Dr. Siegel is super cool, the entire staff is very sharp, everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. They take all of the fear out of going to the dentist. Beyond general dentistry, they do orthodontics, cosmetic etc, so its a real one stop shop. I reluctantly had to take the plunge and get adult braces, and they made it a very painless process. They offered a lot of encouragement, and never treated me like a little kid. Very friendly staff and easy to get to location with plenty of street parking. So glad and lucky I found this place, they were able to diagnose my problem and do a root canal the same day.

Staff was extremely friendly and made me feel valued and comfortable during my first visit. I had chipped a filling and food was constantly getting caught in between my teeth causing my gums to be sore. I couldnt even chew on that side of my mouth. I went to big smile dental yesterday and Dr.Shah fixed it in about 20 min! They gave me the right amount of local anesthetic (every other dentist Ive gone to has never given me enough and when they did numb me, the numbing sensation lasted for hours!) With Big Smile Dental, I was only numb for about an hour. I was able to eat lunch shortly after leaving the office! Alyssa performed my cleaning and it was the most thorough cleaning Ive ever gotten. You could tell she was removing stains and she meticulously cleaned each tooth. The cleaning itself took maybe 15 minutes. I really felt like she and everyone else was attentive to my care. Even though this dental office is farther away from me, I will be sticking with them! Im also purposely researching PPO dental plans so that I can stick with them!

Another five star experience - and Ive been treated by Dr Siegel, Dr Abed & Dr Kim from Big Smile, the latter expertly replacing my old fillings and on another occasion removing a wisdom tooth. Everything has always been effortless and without any fuss. Its easy getting an appointment (and re-scheduling one) and everything from start to finish is a breeze. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism & convenience of Big Smile and all their dentists, dental hygienists, and office staff who have taken such good care of me. Well it had been years since I had been there and needless to say I should have been going all the time. Best dentist / dental office ever! I live in the far west suburbs and drive 2 hours just to see Dr. Siegal - 110% worth it. First dentist Ive had to suggest and try non-invasive and low cost procedures before doing invasive and high cost procedures.

I had a spectacular experience from the desk to the office staff. Dr. Kim is purely a professional and kind enough to allow for some laughter and fun. I have not ever had a bad experience in any sense of the word.

I made an appointment for an examination and x-rays, only to discover that no treatments are covered under my insurance. Might have been nice for them to run the insurance card first. The woman who took my x-rays needed multiple tries throughout, which was both lengthy and uncomfortable. She even knocked the x-ray machine against the clamp once while it was in my mouth. I have no reason to return and am sorry I ever walked in.

Ive been going to Big Smile Dental for over two years and have most times been able to schedule a cleaning visit within the same week of calling. The staff is always extremely helpful, curtious, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend their services and look forward to visits to come.

Always friendly staff, and always managed to accommodate my tricky work hours. Dr. Kim is the best and was very patient about my gag reflex. Love these guys!

For someone without insurance: $1 for initial examination, $93 for a cleaning *if* you have had regular visits. If they determine you need more than one cleaning because your teeth are in bad shape, they charge $172 each for up to 4 appointments. Doesnt sound very legitimate to me. Seems like a way for them to get you in there and charge you out the nose.

I went because of how this dental office contributes to the community. Ill keep going back because of their amazing staff, top-notch dentists, and quality facilities. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

My experience was excellent. I have been to dentists in the past and my experiences left me never wanting to return to the dentist again. Dr. Kim renewed my dental experience for the better!

I have been a patient of Big Smile Dental for about 4-5 years now. The best thing I can say is that they make the experience not dreadful like most people normally view going to the dentist. Everyone is always very nice, helpful and thorough. My overall oral hygiene has improved greatly over the years. I am more than happy with Dr. Siegel and his team. I have even referred my mother to them after a few bad experiences with other dentists.

I have been a patient of Big Smile since my teenage years. This place is amazing and Dr. Siegel always takes good care of me. Ana (front desk) is such a sweetheart. She always answers my questions and helps me out. She made me feel at ease about getting venners in the near future. I already believe in Dr. Siegel’s work, but when employees working for him rave about his and Dr. Kim’s work then that say a lot. Totally recommend this place!

Competent and professional staff and dentist. I usually get anxious when getting anesthetized prior to fillings, but they guided me through and I had a quick and easy experience getting fillings for cavities.
