Here for my first time at Konikoff dental and I thought they were wonderful. Very nice friendly and professional. They explained everything as it was happening and clearly explained all my options for future care. Im sure they will be handling my dental care for a years to come. I’m having a dental appliance made and my regular dentist is elsewhere. The assistant Kim was very caring in taking the impressions. Compared to my regular dental office this is an assembly line but the staff I met were friendly. They helped me prepare to file my own insurance. Finally, the price of my appliance is quite high so I’ll be looking for service after I take delivery.

Most Awesome dentist I have been to. From the front desk to the Dentist I the back. As soon as you walk in you feel so welcomed. And me in particular, was really embarrassed to come in hear because of some abuse and neglect and they have really made me feel so comfortable. Especially Mel, she us great and 4 of those stars 🌟 are just for her. While she cleaned my teeth and did the deep cleaning she held a clgreat conversation and made me feel so comfortable and right in my atmosphere. Glad I found this office and looking forward to continuing business with them.

After having significant problems with a different Dental Group, I decided to seek a new Dental group. I found Konikoff and was assigned Dr Rahmans team. I had to recieve significant dental work. The Team has helped me through every step of the way. I now have the best dental health that Ive ever had and Im almost 60 years old. I no longer dread going to Dentist. I wish I would have found this team 5 years ago.

Everyone is always so kind and understanding, and for a person like me, with a lot of neglected teeth due to no insurance throughout most of my life, they always make me feel comfortable and never feel embarrassed or shy there. They’re always willing to go the extra mile to take care of your teeth and only charge big money for crowns and route canals when absolutely necessary . If you can get him, Dr. Rahman is the absolute best in my experience with many dentists.One time he did a couple fillings for me, and I didn’t even need pain medicine! He is unbelievable! I have been going to this Konikoff office for years. My kids and I all love Dr Field. He is funny and is a great dentist!! We have had fillings, teeth pulled, root canals, crowns and many things done. I have no complaints about any of it. On my most recent trip I was getting my temporary crown removed, my actual crown put in and having a small filling done. I had a new hygienist work with me named Larry. He was so fun and great to talk to! He did great at removing the temporary crown and preparing the new one! At first the new crown was so tight we could barely get it out to resize it. Once everything was done the crown fit so perfectly it felt like it was my actual tooth. I hope Larry stays there a while like the other people Ive seen over the years!! He was GREAT!!! Also, I love Regina, Dr Fields other hygienist that helps him. She is amazing!! Shes the one that put my temporary crown on and it stayed perfectly for the two and a half weeks I had it. She also stayed at work a little later to take images for my mouth for a night guard even though it wasnt actually on the calendar for that day. Sooo sweet!! If you are just going for a cleaning my personal favorite hygienist is Kristen. I always go see her. Shes the best!! I love her!! Highly recommended this office for many more people than just the few I mentioned! Everyone is so friendly!!

I came here recently as a new patient. Now, I dislike going to the dentist, but this office was especially clean yet welcoming. I loved the atmosphere and the kind staff. My hygienist, Christine? I believe, was very informative and clear with everything she was going to do. She made me feel calm and safe at all times whereas I usually feel anxious at the dentist. When Dr. Bozman came in, she was also glad to explain things and reassure me about my upcoming dental work. I had an AMAZING experience here and I wholeheartedly recommend this office!!

The Indian dentist there is disrespectful and demeaning. He is overall a mean individual. Period. I was his patient and he will talk to you like you are a child. He will overly talk down about your teeth/ condition of them. He talks harshly to some of his dental assistant as well. Definitely go to another dentist there.

I have had great experiences with Konikoff on Cedar Road. They are very good at explaining your oral health and making suggestions/plans to ensure that your oral health remains well. Additionally, the oral hygienist are fantastic and ensure you are comfortable throughout your time in the office.

Everyone is friendly. Dr. Emily and Justine are great. They are helping me to have a better smile. Its been a long process with covid 19,and Dr. Emilys pregnancy as well as not being at the Lynnhaven office which is much closer. However, to have Dr. Emily and Justine Id travel there anytime.

This was my first visit to a civilian dentist in 34 years. I honestly just expected a lot of waiting and being shuffled from station to station getting X-rays and answering repetitive questions as I did every single year for nearly three decades in the military. The staff was extremely welcoming the tech was kind and knowledgeable, the doctor was quick and no nonsense in his evaluation. I was afraid I would be told I needed thousands of dollars in expensive dental work. Fortunately brushing my teeth, flossing and not smoking meth really paid off. No Cavities!!! My hats off to all of the professionals At Konikoff Dental Associates on Cedar Road.

A dentist pulled my tooth on Wed, then admitted it had infection. By Friday my jaw was swollen and I was in pain with gum infection. The only way I could be seen was to go to Cedar Road location, an hour away. I was given meds and sent home. The pain never left. Still radiating into ear and jaw. I called this am to be seen again and was told the only way I could be seen was to be there in 30 minutes. I live almost an hour away. She said it was the best they could do. So no help!This place doesnt care if you are in pain. They care about money.Update: I want to add that my regular location was Battlefield. Everyone at the Cedar Road location was extremely nice and did everything they could to help me in a pinch. I greatly appreciate that. I also received a call from Cedar Road. That was nice. If you choose to go, go to Cedar Road. If it wasnt so far I would have stayed.

I had a phenomenal visit with Nabeel Rahman, D.D.S. He is very personable and professional. It feels like he cares about his patient’s feelings and opinions. I was totally impressed. So different than what I’ve experienced in the past.

Dr. Dimitroff does excellent work! My daughter needed a tooth replaced on the front of her mouth from a congenitally missing tooth and the opposite tooth enlarged. One dentist from another practice insisted on an implant, but she was still developing, and the other dentist from that same practice disagreed—cue Dr. Dimitroff! She did a Maryland Bridge for the missing tooth and a crown on the smaller tooth and it looks so natural and flawless! When my daughter returned to her orthodontist for her final retainer, they were blown away! The doctors couldn’t believe how good it looked and took pictures for their files. They immediately asked who did the work so they could refer other patients to her. Thank you Dr. Dimitroff! You are the standard for excellence in your field.

I have been to a few of the Konikoff dental offices, but the Cedar road one is my favorite! From start to finish the experience is a positive one. The front desk person (sorry, I don’t remember her name) was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in.I needed to schedule an appointment for my daughter and Bree (I think that was her name) was so patient and helpful trying to work with my schedule and availability.Barbara-Anne is my favorite hygienist! She is friendly, and knowledgeable. I understand that a dental practice is a business and there are upsell opportunities; she is always informative without being pushy.And she gives a great cleaning, thorough and gentle! I leave each time with that wonderfully smooth feeling of just cleaned teeth.This is a busy office, so scheduling in advance is a must and sometimes, like any medical office, there’s a chance that they may be running behind, especially in the afternoons.My time with the doctor was brief but thorough. She answered my questions and did some troubleshooting to address a concern I had.Overall, I highly recommend this office for a great experience!

I consider myself a very difficult patient in the dentist chair He was able to settle me down, numb me with no residual pain, take care of two cavities and install my crown without strapping me in or knocking me out! Had to fill out the SAME three forms I filled out numerous times before (they must throw them away as soon as you leave!). Got nickel-dimed for services that should be included: 1. Fluoride treatment; 2. Oral cancer exam; and 3. an Office visit charge (really???!). Plus, instead of seeing my regular dental hygienist, they switched me to someone new and never notified me of this change. Bottom line, beginning to think these people just want to charge you for every possible thing they can think of ... surpised they didnt charge me for thr mouth rinse I used. 😕

My hygienist today (Barbara Anne) is BY FAR the best Ive experienced for more than a decade. She was friendly, genuine, funny, and thorough. Like most folks, I havent actually enjoyed a dental visit for as long as I can remember. Barbara Anne deserves a significant pay raise, a promotion, & anything else you can do to praise her performance. I hope my next semi annual appointment is with her.

My experience was beyond phenomenal. I was having a pretty rough day and was a bit anxious going in for my initial visit. I did not know what to expect, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was beyond phenomenal. I have lived in many places and I must say this has been the absolute best experience at a dental practice. The entire staff made me feel at ease, to include the dentist. My Hygienist (Ashley) was by far the best, she made me feel extraordinarily comfortable and provided suggestions along the way. Dr. Konikoff was phenomenal. He helped to ease my fears, addressed my concerns and was genuinely interested in who I was as a person and a patient. Also, I needed special paperwork completed in a timely manner and his office manager Tami went above and beyond to ensure I had exactly what I needed, when I needed it. I will be bringing my family to this practice. A truly phenomenal team. Hands down the best!!!

Ive havent been to this office in three years due to my move to Chicago. During a brief visit to Virginia (10/7/19), I scheduled an appointment and like any other time--EXCELLENT service from the time I crossed the door entrance until I walked out of the office. Truth be told, I never envisioned myself writing a review for a dental experience. In the past, it has never been anything more than an absolute anxiety filled, nails on the chalkboard, dragging-me-through-the-door event. However, my most recent experience was truly the contrary.As always, the front and check out staff were very kind and courteous. Dr. Maniwang was a true pleasure to have as my dentist. During my procedure, she was attentive to all my needs and I am grateful for her expertise.However, there was one person who really made my dental experience actually pretty awesome. They say, “It only takes one person to make a difference.” This is very true of my Dental Hygienist, Miriam at the Cedar Road location. She provided excellence in every way. She was patient, professional, educated me on all aspects of my dental care plan, listened to my concerns and had an awesome way of defusing my stress. Her skills as a hygienist were refreshingly superior. I can’t thank her enough, not only for the experience, but also for the positive change in my dental views!

I was able to get an appointment for my crown prep very quickly. Once arrived, greeted with happy smiles all around. This place has a storybook feel to it like you are being whisked away to another place and time that is filled with happy things and even happier people. Think Busch Gardens type feeling. Once in the chair, Doc Fields (?) was pleasant and was the quintessential host in my time of need. The 2 hours went by quickly and painlessly. I would recommend this Dentist Office and Dentist to anyone that would like a fairy tale ending to their day. Thank you.

My entire experience was outstanding. They worked to get my three boys and I scheduled together. My 3 year old had a great first experience at the dentist. The kids room is really comfy and there was also a tv on my dental chair. We were in and out fast for our cleanings. Great place and very nice staff.

My 3 year old son wasnt the most cooperative on his first dental visit since it was all new to him. The staff made him feel comfortable and had an extreme amount of patience when working to count his teeth and check for sugar bugs. The cool glasses, the popular cartoons and the kid friendly-walls made it that much easier. He even got to visit the treasure box at the end. Fast forward 6 months later for our 2nd visit and the appointment was done in less than 15 minutes! My son knew exactly what to expect, had the same kind and friendly pediatric hygienist and opened wide each time without hesitation. Boy was he ever so excited to go into that treasure box again! Our whole family now goes there. Thank you for your attention to detail and caring staff!

My 17 year old daughter had a great experience with a root canal. She loved Dr Fields. He made her feel so comfortable with and uncomfortable procedure.

Appointment staff and check in staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr Field and his assistant were great. I had a crown that had popped off. He gave me options and his recommendations and we decided on best course of action together. He didnt try to talk me into something unnecessary like the last dentist I had did. Thank you Dr Field!!

I will be honest with you I absolutely love the staff. They are very nice very patient and very understanding. They answer all your questions they walk you through every procedure, and most importantly they make sure that you are comfortable. This is the first dentist office that I have walked into and I have not been terrified I feel right at home when I walk in the office I feel very comfortable talking with everybody there and they break down every step for me to make sure that I am getting the best care in the best plan that fits my needs. Clean, Friendly, Quick. I had a cavity fall out from another dentist - came in to Konikoff and they had me all fixed up. The location is convenient and easy to spot from Cedar Rd. Parking lot had spaces up front. I was in and out in no time. Plus - they are military friendly!

Dr. Rahman has been my Dentist for over 20 years. Hes patient and exhibits concern for his patients. I find him to be knowledgeable and has my best interest in mind. He is always tactful but up front with his opinion on your oral care. What more could you ask for?

The dentist is certainly not my favorite place to go, and I had not been in almost 4 years. I got up on a Monday morning and a piece of my tooth broke off. I called Konikoff as soon as they opened and they got me right in that morning at a time that was convenient for me. I was so glad to take care of this right away as my wedding was planned for the upcoming Saturday! The office was also very festive as it was almost Halloween and the staff were super nice and congratulated me on my upcoming nuptials. I highly recommend this office.

The Hygienist Mal is awesome. She is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and sensitive to your dental needs. She provided a very positive dental experience for me. I had gone to another dental office when I first started with my toothache. I was in extreme pain and evaluated, I was given an appointment for 1 week later for them to try and fix it. I was not prescribed antibiotics or medicine to ease the pain. I was told to take Motrin and Tylenol alternating. I had a fractured tooth and I am a grinder. It hurt to drink and eat and I tried to stay calm so as not to grind my teeth.Friday night I went to sleep upset and woke up around 1:30am Saturday screaming because the tooth had shifted and the pain was excruciating. We came across Konikoff number online while searching for an emergency dental office. My husband got them on the phone first thing and told them what had happened. I was not a current patient and had never been to the practice before. They told us to come in (on a Saturday) and they would fit me in and see what they could do.I arrived and they were busy, but I was still met with empathetic kindness, I was scared and kept quietly crying because of the pain. It was busy and each patient was greeted nicely and personably. The receptionist would keep me informed about my wait and check on all the patients. I liked that because it kept me from feeling forgotten about. When Georgia took me back she was comforting and calming as I was a hot mess. Dr. Bozman is the best. She took her time with me looked at me explained in detail what she could do and what needed to be done to give me some relief. When I left the office I was calm and could kinda smile. She had numb me and fixed my bite so I could eat and drink some. I needed antibiotics and she explained why they had to wait a little to work on me. It was only few days. I went back on Wednesday she and her staff were just as awesome as that first day. She explains step by step what she is doing. And kept me participating too. This was the best because I didn’t feel like it was happening to me. I felt like we were a team to get this taken care of. It was the best Root canal ever. I felt calm and out of pain. I will definitely recommend this practice! They took great care of me at a scary time. Even busy you are never treated like a number and that you don’t matter. That is very important. They do wonderful work too.

My son was having trouble with his wisdom tooth. I called to schedule an appointment at 11 am. They were able to see him the same day. We love the office and the staff are all top-notch! Dr Rahman is absolutely amazing !

My sons and I enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be going back! The location is great, and Dr. Konikoff is the friendliest dentist I have ever met. He explained everything to me clearly, and the kids were taken to a separate room for their exams - no complaints. There is a small kids theater in the front of the office (I believe he explained its a childhood memory thing, and in every location of his), so the children can wait for their appointment in comfort and without driving the parents crazy. At the end, fees were explained to me clearly, and there was no pressure to book a follow-up appointment - it was when/if I wanted. No complaints here!!

Dr. Rahman was excellent. I needed a crown replaced in a bit of an emergency because my old one had broken and the tooth beneath it was very sensitive. When I called, the office got me an appointment for the next day. He and the dental hygienists he works with did a great job fitting the new crown perfectly and making the whole experience painless. Would definitely recommend!

Me my wife and daughter have been going to Konikoff 4 20 years. We have never sought care elsewhere because they care has always been excellent gentle and compassionate. The appointments are always on time and the prices are fair, and I occasionally get to use credits my account from prior payments to pay for new services. For example, today I needed a filling replaced that fell out and I had enough credit on my account that there was no charge for today services and I still had a small credit left!You simply wont find better service, facilities and especially staff, hygienists and dentist anywhere! They come with my highest regards in all facets of their warm and welcoming offices and staff.

Very professional staff and always on time...no waiting to see the dentist.Everyone seems glad to see you from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists to billing and checkout.I recommend them.The new office management technology may not be up to speed. I updated my personal info twice before I came for the last appointment (had to have human help even finding where to do this on the website) and it still couldnt be found on the day of the appointment. So, we entered it a third time using paper.

I went in to see why I was having pain in my lower right jaw and teeth. I was afraid that I had something stuck underneath my bridge or one of my teeth was acting up. My dental assistant quickly had taken some X-rays and Dr. Fields both looked at them and they put my mind at ease to say that my bridge and my teeth looked fine but they put me on antibiotics since one area of my mouth looked sore and I could be at the beginnings of a gum infection. I was very pleased with my care and this worked out very well since I am due to see the dentist again in about 2 weeks.

Ive had a pleasant experience at Konikoff. The staff is professional. I really like Dr. Field, he is an awesome dentist. The only things I dont like is how slow they are checking you out & how hard it is to get an appt because they stay so full.

Had broken a front tooth. Called the office and Dr Fields could see me as an add on. Service is professional, and very engaged. I was called backwithin minutes. despite a busy schedule and extra work. They make every effort to expedite my visit. Dr. Fields is so very personable and his expertise and attention to detail cosmetically is spot on. Becky was so expert and kind in her care. Thank you for making such a traumatic event ,painless and very pleasurable. An estimate of my repair was brought to the chairside , so I could choose my affordable options. Everyone attended to my every need , right done to covering me with a blanket. Awesome office and professional team. My new crown is a perfect match, I was in and out of the office in no time. What a great team,
