Kathy Delva was hands down the most down to earth, compassionate dentist I’ve ever been to. I’ve had poor experiences with other dentists in the past which has resulted in some anxiety. She and her wonderful staff completely put me at ease. From the receptionist to the hygienists, easy going and welcoming.I had zero pain after a root canal and two fillings.I don’t think I’ll ever go to another dentist.Thank you, Kathy! 🙂 🦷

Dr Delva and all of her staff are absolute angels i have an extreme dental phobia so needless to say my teeth needed some work i came in, in pain and feeling hopeless. They were able to get me in for sedation, extracrion, a rootcanal, a few fillings. And some gum work i was very comfortable and it was relativly afforadable. I will never go anywhere else.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I need my wisdom teeth removed (still do not have them removed) and I have extreme medical anxiety from past trauma. I had high hopes after speaking to the receptionist and those quickly diminished at my first appointment. My first appointment was just X-rays and a consult. While the I believe hygienist was very nice and calming the x ray machine did not work and my appointment for a total of 5 X-rays (2 on each side and 1 that went around my head) took about 2 hours. Finally the dentist came in and made a terrible first impression I was ready to go and very anxious. I called ahead about sedation and she rolled her eyes when I explained this and what I knew I wanted to do.Talked myself into coming for the extraction (called multiple time’s to confirm the steps that would be happening) and upon arrival they inform me of some changes. I was patronized and they spoke to me in a baby voice when I had panic attack. Particularly the female office staff who I was informed works in billing. She made the entire situation worse and should never ever deal with patients. Half of it probably could have been avoided if she just stuck to billing or office work.The anesthesiologist seemed very confused about what I thought was a clearly laid out plan. I personally had to repeat it to him multiple times.It was A whole process to talk myself into going back at this point and the anesthesiologist informs me the plan I created with his staffs consult is “not really the safest option” so you could imagine someone already anxious hearing this. He starts the mask anesthesia and I feel nothing. (He tells me I should feel “woozy” I do not) I start feeling my chest tighten and ask them to stop. The anesthesiologist rolls his eyes and is visibly annoyed saying if I had just waited a few more seconds it would have worked. I explain it’s hard to breathe as he’s removing the monitors and he says you panicked. Which I didn’t doubt as I was nervous but really I didn’t feel well. So much so when I stood up to leave I fell back into the chair.After leaving I cried in pain the whole drive home saying I could breathe well. I ended up seeking additional medical care where they informed me I actually had an adverse reaction to the anesthesia and my oxygen was quite low. I wasn’t able to get out of bed for about 4 days as the reaction wore off.The doctor and entire staff echoed things I have heard for years as doctors hear someone has anxiety and write off any pain or illness as “anxiety” or a “panic attack” fortunately I listened to my body and sought medical care. The anesthesiologist was careless and that is very dangerous in his profession. I would never recommend anyone with mental health issues or medical anxieties to come here.I still have not had my wisdom teeth removed because of the trauma this practice caused. Hopefully I will soon but it certainly won’t be done at this practice.

I had a great experience at Advanced Sedation Dentistry on yesterday. From the greeting and customer service to post care instructions, the staff there made me feel like a priority. Stephanie’s attention to detail, coupled with Dr. Delva’s level of knowledge was all I needed to help calm my nerves. By far, the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Great place to go!! Came in for a cleaning. Front desk ladies are very nice. First appointment as a new patient, they do your x-rays and an overall examination of your teeth, then go over any concerns you have. You schedule your actual cleaning date, which the dates are usually a couple weeks away, but they get cancellations, so if you have time one day- call and ask!!! If they have any cancellations, they are very good about getting you in there! The dentist is nice & very knowledgeable. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth, Trish, is the best hygienist ever!!! She is super nice and tries to make your experience a lot less stressful with her humor. She answers all your questions without hesitation and quickly. She does an amazing job at what she does. My teeth have NEVER been cleaned THIS WELL! They looked brand new! Thanks y’all! I will never go elsewhere :)

At the beginning of a good relationship, everything seems perfectThis is called the honeymoon stage.Today was my initial visit and I was VERY impressed. As I walked into the front door I was warmly greeted by the receptionist as if I was a life time client.Next, they took X-rays and used the latest technology.Dr. Delva’’s examination was painless and thorough. She listened and responded to all my questions, with no rushing!!Hopefully, after I’ve been with Advance Sedation Dentistry through each stage of my dental procedures, a happy relationship will develop for many years.I’ll keep you posted.

Did not disclose to me that I would have to pay for X-rays up front. Recommended I get a root canal but refused to send me a referral to see a specialist. Money hungry. Sad to say it’s hard to find offices that actually care but thankfully I found an oral surgeon who actually cares about his patients at oral surgery for tidewater and dental specialty of Virginia Beach but NOT THIS OFFICE

The staff are awesome people! Patient, knowledgeable and friendly! So it helps when there are great staff when having to deal with dental procedures. I had a deep cleaning and my hygienist was awesome and made the experience better. Would definitely recommend this place!

Advanced Sedation has truly been a blessing. Due to previous dental nightmare’s I was stuck with the overwhelming dental anxiety. I started visiting Advanced Sedation about a year ago and can honestly say that I have NEVER met staff as caring as them. From day one they bring you under their wing , make you feel comfortable and take into account the way you are feeling throughout the whole process. I walked in a year ago full of anxiety and absolutely terrified of anything dental related and now I walk in , anxiety free and ready to take on my treatment plan. I have had multiple procedures from fillings, crowns to root canal’s and have never felt any pain. From the front desk to the dental chair , you are greeted with professionalism. Advanced Sedation has truly changed my views on Dental care. Let them change yours too!!! Not to mention the beautiful smile you leave with! Talk about a confidence boost!!

From my very first call to make an appointment as a new patient, the staff at this location has made me feel like family. They are comforting, welcoming, informational, and helpful. New to the area from CT, I randomly selected this office to be my new dentist, and I knew I chose the right place when I noticed the soothing and groovy reggae music playing lightly over the speakers. This practice is amazing. Through the years I’ve never been able to associate a dentist office Jaír without he critiquing pain and shame. So each visit became progressively worse until I stopped going. After years of neglect I’m faced with oral surgery extensive cleanings and implants.This morning changed my outlook on dentistry. I had 2 teeth extracted. The entire process was efficient and they are practicing COVID-19 practices very well. I never felt any sense of judgement from any of the staff in the practice. In fact, they made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I used the option of IV sedation and met the Doctor, woke up what seemed like a minute later and was walking out of the procedure time pain free and smiling having not felt an instant of painThank you Advanced Sedation Dentistry for restoring my faith in dentistry!!

I walked into this office in severe pain. Dr. Delva took great care of me. I was walking in fear for months before making a decision to have my mouth worked on. Dr. Delva did the bomb work on my mouth. Im thankful for God leading me and my son to Dr. Delva and Advanced Sedation dentistry.

I would rate them 10 stars if I could! They are absolutely amazing. My daughter has been terrified of the dentist due to several bad experiences. She was comfortable the minute she walked into their office. From the front office staff, to the back office assistants, to Dr. Delva herself, they are professional, personable, and patient. I’m so glad we were referred here by our original dentist to have work done, we will never go back to our original dentist! Amazing, amazing, amazing!

I just have to say that i absolutely LOVED my experience with them. The entire staff that I came into contact with was extremely nice and courteous. The work I had done was amazing, but I was sedated for it so I cannot give reviews on that part. I have always been extremely terrified of dentists and these people made me calm and comfortable. I would rate them ten stars if I could.

By far the BEST experience I’ve had with a dental office in years. My daughter was traumatized from a previous dental office, Dr.Delva and her staff took the time to explain each tool and process with her and myself to put her at ease. So glad to have could you all, won’t be seeing any other provider from now on!

Absolutely ridiculous office. I attempted to cancel the second part of my appointment and they want to charge a fee even though I kept the cleaning. This is even after clearing the potential cancelation with the receptionist when the appointment was created. I will be finding a new dentist after this. Absolutely disgusted with this office!

We found them when searching for a dentists both of my children’s fears were set at ease as we’re mine! In 2013 I wished we would of know to come sooner they are wonderful trusting and very qualified. Dr Delva took wonderful care of my twins teeth and the sedation was worry free they are very wonderful. The staff is great and ensures a peaceful experience. If you have any questions they will set you and your whole family’s mind at ease. They are wonderful and great pricing.They created smiles for a life time Come here. I had to have complicated extractions done- and I had ZERO pain afterward. I was able to eat normally that evening, with no upsetting side effects. The staff was courteous and kept my anxieties at rest the entire time leading up to the procedure. Dr. Futerman was by far the best dentist Ive ever seen. He has the skill and chair side manner youd expect when seeing a professional. Hes truly top notch!

We have taken my son sylar and daughter trinity here for the passed few years. They have always been friendly and treated our children with care. This is appreciated as alot of dentists we have treated us as products and not people.

Dr. Delva has the kindest, softest and most gentle, precise dental touch Ive experienced in near 60 years of dental work. She has performed extractions and fillings for me, both completely without pain. There were no unexpected or residual side effects. Dr. Delvas work is above par.The support team and staff at the Chesapeake office each reflect Dr. Delvas caring, gentle style in all their actions. Finding Dr. Delvas practice was a lucky shot in the dark when I had to find a new dentist because of insurance changes. Dr. Delvas office was the ONLY phone answered by a real live person. Dr. Delva is an absolute rockstar in my book. I told her today that her office is the only dental office I’ve ever been happy to visit. My experience with Dr. Delva and the staff at the Chesapeake office has been one of the most pleasant things Ive experienced with a dentists office. My initial appointment was thorough, informative, and quick enough to get back to work on time. My wisdom tooth extraction went flawlessly, and I was on my way home within an hour and a half of arriving at the office. The healing of my wisdom tooth procedure has not been without complications, however the staff and Dr. Delva have accommodated me at every turn. When I woke up early Monday morning with a dry socket, I was fit into the schedule first thing that morning with little to no wait and no hassle. While Ive had a bit of continued pain, the office has done everything in their power to make me comfortable, going as far as to call me unprompted this morning to check on my healing and pain, and let me know that theyll be calling again in a few days to check up on me again. If youre looking for a dentist and staff that truly care about you as the patient and have your best interest at heart, I recommend Dr. Delva at the Chesapeake office.

They do not know how to run a business. Waited two weeks to even get a consult. I was told the day of they do not accept my insurance, despite giving them my insurance info on the first phone call.

They didnt explain what i signed i told the nurse i didnt want my front tooth pulled and they pulled it i have had nothing but problems since dr futerman left

Im used to be terrified of going to the dentist but with Dr Anderson the fear isn’t that bad she has never hurt me every , I tell my friends about my dentist and about Advanced Sedation Dentistry it’s just the Best
