My mother has terminal cancer and we’re trying to give her the best care possible. In choosing between 2 rehabs, one was out of network but could guarantee a private room. St Mary’s admissions director, Melissa, said while they don’t have short term private rooms they have semi private and would not admit a roommate to my mother’s room. They didn’t fulfill their promise and said they would rectify the situation the following day but again failed to deliver. Now they stopped returning phone calls. It’s frustratingwhen people make promises they had no authority to make orintention to honor.Update: St Mary’s rectified the situation. Thank you

The facility is a beautiful facility located on a sprawling beautiful campus. I have had the honor of meeting with the administrative staff as well as many other staff and residents in the facility, and everybody seems so wonderful and inviting. The smiles on the residents faces and the warm atmosphere gives off the best impression possible. The building is very clean and organized. I would definitely refer this facility to my loved one and to anyone else looking for a short term rehabilitation stay, or long term care stay!! I give the staff and facility 10 stars!!!

My Father stayed for a short time in the rehab. He was extremely sick due to Cancer, but due to our staff and doctors they made his stay comfortable. Rehab department was just terrific and caring as well. Over all my family and I were very please and put our trust in this facility, but most of all my DAD was HAPPY and felt secure and comfortable and that meant a lot to me.

Thanks for such a great facility! My mom was just here and I could not ask for a better place for her to rehab. If anyone is looking for a place GO HERE! They are attentive and compassionate! Thanks so much for taking care of my mom and giving us both peace of mind

A friend is there for palliative care. We cannot get a hold of the person to make an appointment to visit - yes you need to make an appointment to visit a dying friend!!!! Never answers phone; never returns messages; phone requests for information are not accurate or rude. We were initially told our friend was not even there. I can only hope he is resting well.

During a really difficult time the team here really made things so much easier for my family. I’m thankful to have had my Aunt in a facility that cared so much. Highly recommend.

Please be aware that if you are a dialysis patient using Sen Han for free transport to your appts, you wont be able to use them here. You HAVE TO use their transport which is $120 a day. This can add up . Sen Han is willing to pick up there, but they are sent away. I wish I had known this before I put my father here. The hospital told me that Sen Han WOULDNT pick up there. Thats not the case, Sen Han is NOT ALLOWED by St. Marys to transport him. Big difference.

I have been to St. Marys on more then one occasion and there is no other place I would rather be to receive rehab. The staff here is always kind to me and the therapy department is remarkable. There is also always something for me to do whether it is playing cards or enjoying the out doors with the other residents. The food is also pretty good with lots of choices to choose from. When asked what I would rate it out of 5, I say a 10!!

The staff is compassionate and caring. The facility is kept very clean and the care the patients receive is top notch. There is no other place I would rather be for rehab. I also enjoy that I can pick my own food and I have such a large selection to choose from. Communion everyday is also a plus from a Eucharistic minister, who walks around every morning from room to room. I would not want to be anywhere else.

The staff has been very helpful and friendly while I have been here at St. Marys. When ever I have asked for something they make sure that it is done. The therapy department has done a great job at getting me stronger again. I thank them for that. I am looking forward to being independent again. If it wasnt for the therapy team I dont think I would have been able to do this on my own.

The nursing staff were attentive and very helpful. The best part of my family members stay. The food was not anything to write ho m e about. The servings were lacking, and not appetizing at all. Im not sure what PT is since My family member got minimal. Left for home no better despite the PT he supposedly got. I have also learned that referrals for home care were not done, training for family was never offered or done. Social services never returned phone calls made for assistance or numbers of where referrals were made so I could follow up. My family member has gone nearly 2 weeks without any PT as a result. Social Services were poor at best.

My sister was treated terribly. Her nurse was so rude on the phone & then complained about it to my sister. She had chest pains & no one answered her buzzer. Just awful experience! So disappointed and dissatisfied.

This nursing home was formerly St. Marys catholic nursing home. Any promise by the Camden diocese that it would remain true to its original premise of providing compassionate and appropriate medical care was lost the minute it was sold. There is daily mass. There may be a religious sister walking the hall or in the office. They will bring a visiting priest(we had a priest out of Philly) into your family meeting when they anticipate displeasure with their treatment of a loved one. The staff has had a major turnover. Quite a few are now at Lions Gate, the 5 star rated Jewish nursing home in Voorhees. Its ironic that we waited years for an opening on the waiting list for what used to be the nursing home for catholics from all over; then we prayed harder to get out of it and into the Jewish nursing home because they still understand the value of the elderly. Just so disappointed and angry. Read up on any report you can before agreeing to place anyone in this place.

My mothers air mattress deflated, and for 2 hrs. Her nurse asked to get it fixed. She was ignored. My mother was in pain n hysterical crying. 8:30 pm she called me crying. When i went to the nurses station I asked whats going on and they said what are you talking about your mothers fine. They came to herRoom like a bunch of dummies. If not for the one nurse she would be laying on bed rails all night. If I didnt show up they would not have done anything. She had to be switched to a regular mattress. Also, it can take up to half an hour for a nurse to answer the call light.Foods not to good either.Wish we never put her there. Cant wait till she leaves
