I have been living at this facility for 7 years. The nursing staff is good to me and treats me nicely. I enjoy my time with my roommate, she has been really good to me. We have good activities to enjoy daily, my favorites are the group ones.

This facility deserves zero stars. There has been on-going issues with the staffing and the lack of care provided to loved ones while in their care. They do not allow access to patients without appointments which is dangerous! Patients are left unattended, staff is rude, disrespectful, incompetent and there is cause to be concern for patient abuse and theft of personal property while in this facilities care. Please be ware if you are looking for a facility to care for your loved one, look elsewhere .

I do not recommend anyone to bring their loved ones to this facility! My grandmother was at the facility short term stay for physical therapy rehab. Now some of the employees are nice but most are just rude and felt entitled. My grandmother is the sweetest most easy going woman and she’s stated numerous times she did not want to return to Barclays. They’ve lost some of her clothing and her foot brace! The clothes is one thing but she needs her brace due to drop foot. She’s even mentioned she hears the other patients saying their belonging are missing as well. The employees have went into her room and used her personal products that I’ve purchased for her! This is unacceptable and the amount of carelessness besides physical therapy is just ridiculous! She’s even fallen due to a someone leaving her unattended in the bathroom! The only thing going good there from what my grandmother tells me is the physical therapy. They worked her really well. Besides that, she’s idle in her room making her condition worse. Now she’s been in Barclays care for 3 weeks and I was only able to visit 3 times because no one answers the phone! Everytime I call to schedule an appt I’m always sent to voicemail! I understand restrictions due to covid but this is ridiculous!Don’t send your loved one here! I don’t like to leave bad reviews but others need to be warned!

I think this place has taken on a much more up to date and modern look than many places. Bhumika from therapy I think is one of the most sincere people I’ve ever met. My CNA, Johanna can be very helpful.

I work here at the front desk. My aunt is a resident there also. Shes been there for 14 years. The staff is friendly and dedicated. The place is beautiful inside and out. I am honored to work in such a wonderful place. Yes sometimes we are short handed. But we work it out. We are a team. We are a family.

My brother, who has special needs was a patient at Barclay from July 9 to July 25. During his time there, he was treated with kindness, respect and patience by everyone ......administrators, therapy staff, nursing staff and extended staff. He can be a handful but nothing was too much for the staff.....the took care of all his needs with a smile and encouraging words. Thank you, thank you to Kelsey, Kelvin, Megan, Rachel and especially the best nurse ever - Nadine - for taking such incredible care of my brother.....you are all the best!

My 93 yr. old mother broke her hip. Everyone at Barclays was very patient and loving toward her. They watched her constantly as she would try to get up and walk. Everyone from the cleaning people to the physical therapists were so caring and helpful to her. The food was also very good and the place was very clean. We were lucky to have her at Barclays.

My mothers first time here and the care is not what we were told and expected. Not enough attention to the patients. When you call the nurse or ring the bell it takes forever for someone to arrive. My mother is 73 years of age and the reason she went to Barclay was for rehabilitation, so she can get her strength back. Today, September 1st only 3 days in the facility and the care was extremely bad. My mother ended up with a UTI, back at the hospital now with other medical complication. This place is not where you would want a loved one to stay. Theres no compassion or caring. Dont trust your friends or family member at this place. We feel sorry for the people that are there. The state should investigate this place. My rate would have been zero but in order to enter comments, I had to choose 1. Believe me, Im praying for the people there!!!!!!

As an RN with many years of Long Term Care experience, I felt very comfortable with the facility when I went for a tour when we decided to place my Mother as she needed more care than we could provide. From Nursing, Admissions, Social Services, Maintenance, Activities, Dietary, Housekeeping, Business Office and the Receptionist at the entrance, and all the way up to the Administrator--helpful and went above and beyond to make her and me feel comfortable since this was the hardest decision I ever had to make.Unfortunately, my Mom passed away from her health issues within seven weeks of her admission there, but the care she received was compassionate, caring and professional. The Staff was friendly and made her feel welcome and involved. She was always a picky eater, but she enjoyed the meals served to her, which is ironic, since she did not eat well when she was at home. There are always going to be issues no matter where a loved one is placed, but when those issues arose, my concerns were addressed promptly and resolved.I would recommend Barclays.

My father was at Barclays after hospitalization at Lady of Lourdes from 6/27 2019 to 7/19/2019. We are very thankful to all staff members from admin, nursing and therapy for the excellent care they provided during his stay. The staff was very polite and always ready to help us.

My rate is 0. Today Sept 1, my mother was bleeding in her Foley bag and no one was taken care of her. The State needs to go in and investigate further on how the care is there. My mother is now back at the hospital. She was only there at this facility for 3 days. The care is not what I recommend for any love one who needs intensive care. Do not take your family friends to this place. Dont trust them!!!!!

My family was hopeless and at the end of our rope. I toured the facility and experienced the bright atmosphere and friendly staff, and knew I wanted ro bring my mom here. This facility saved my mothers life. The staff has been helpful and knowledgeable. They have always been compassionate to my mother and our family. I would recommend this facility to anyone. It is the best feeling in the world to finally have piece of mind and know my mom is taken care of.

Barclays has done upgrades to the place but not to their staff. The rehab center is clearly understaffed. My grandmother is here now and she has sat in the room for hours waiting for assistance to the bathroom. Her call light sits on as people walk by. The lack of communication between the staff is horrible. Nobody seems to know anything! Everybody directs issues to another. If you love your loved ones, don’t send them here unless you don’t care how they are treated! I pray she gets out of here soon.

My mom went here after her hospital stay. My mom was bedbound from the hospital and prior. But the hospital thought that it would be good idea to try and have her work on some things. So she was sent to Barclays rehab to work on some technics.I have to say that the first thing I noticed when I visited my mom there at Barclays was the amount of time it took after my mom would use the call button. It would take on average during the week at least a half hour to 45 mins for someone (nurse) to come in to attend to my moms needs. This wait didnt help my mom, since prior to admission into Barclays my mom had a Foley (catheter) in her. And after she was admitted into Barclays the doctor decided to remove the Foley as part of her rehab. So by the time she would call the nurse, and for them to come, my mom would have gone in her diaper defeating the purpose of helping her to the bathroom. The weekends were even worse longer times up to an hour before someone would come after my mom would use the call button. Then my mom was released recently, I received a call from the Social Worker at Barclays. He was suppose to inform Hospice that my mom would be coming home and would need equipment sent to my home prior to my mom being sent home. The Social Worker waited 24hrs after our discussion before contacting hospice. The delay caused me to scramble to make sure I had hospice equipment before my mom would come home. Barclays has a outsource ambulance service they use to transport patients. My mom is bedbound and this service brought my mom home in a wheelchair. The wheelchair was so big (wide) it didnt fit through my doorway. I didnt have another wheelchair in the house for my mom since I didnt think we would need one since my mom was bedbound. So we had to pick my mother up out of the wheelchair and try to stand her using a walker. My mom couldnt stand, and was hollering that she was in pain. We were able to sit her on a step inside the house while the ambulance transport person was able to collapse the wheelchair and bring it inside the home. Then again we had to pick her up and put her back in the wheelchair to wheel her to her room, which once again the wheelchair wouldnt fit through the doorway to her bedroom, and again we had to pick her up to get her to her bed. This was a horrible ordeal for me and my mom to go through. My mom has a black and blue mark which I noticed while she was in Barclays. I asked the head nurse, How did this happen? She claimed that she would do an investigation and find out what its from. Never got the results of why that happened to her.If you value your loved one, dont send them here to Barclays!

My mother has never been in a hospital, rehab or nursing home. But we chose this facility for rehab so she would hopefully regain her strength after a week stay at the hospital. She was a fall risk and within days of being in the facility they placed her in a wheelchair un-attended and she fell head first onto the floor. They claim it was unwitnessed. Why? She was a fall risk and should never have been left unattended! They also took her to the dining room the day prior and left her there for 2 hours even though she was experiencing severe back pain, she asked repeatidly asked to be returned to her room, and was ignored.I informed them that what they were doing was too much for her too soon, they replied that they have to push them so they can get them strong and back home asap. Really? Push patients beyond their capabilities?During the 2 day hospital stay, the hospital released her back though she was showing signs of breathing issues. Within a day and a half she passed out in the rehab, 911 was called. Their pushing my mother beyond her capability landed her back in the ER. She was still ill and unable to do what they expected of her. Come to find my mother had a blood clot in her lung. Instead of recognizing and listening to my concerns of her breathing issues, they let it go and landed back in the ER which was another 7 hours standing around in the er waiting for her to be admitted to a room. The fall in this facility was the main reason for the set back, prior to the fall she was regaining her strength and looking great.Yesterday while visiting my mother who is sharp as a tack trapped in a failing body informed me the social worker from Barclays stopped in which I thought was nice until my mother said she just wanted to know how long I will be in the hospital do you believe that? I replied yes I do given how they have been towards you up to this point. How does my mother of any of us know how long she will be in the hospital? How about encouraging her to feel better? So here is what you can expect from this place. Also you will find employees dancing and shaking their booties in the hall hallway as if the place was a night club while the lights to patients rooms are on and are being ignored. Do a walk through first, visit a few times to actually see for yourself what to expect for your loved one.Mom has since been released from the hospital and is back home with my father in the care of myself and hospice, I refuse to allow her to go into this or any other facility. When she needs something now, she will get it, if she has an issue we address it. She is finally content and happy and thrilled that she is never going back to Barclays or any place else like it.

Recently wanted to share my review regarding my mothers care. My mom was admitted on 2-19-19 and will be d/c 3-8-19. She was admitted with recent SVT, anxiety generalized weakness and abdominal pain. I have been completely satisfied with her care. From Housekeeping to Nursing everyone has been kind and welcoming My mom says Everyone has been great to her. From nursing, housekeeping, dietary and therapy. A special thank you to Rosalind (CNA) Tom (Nursing) Nadine (Nursing) Florence (CNA) Ganell (housekeeping), Liz (Admissions) Linda (Human Resources) and Dr. Dave (MD). What is so comforting is that I was able to go home and sleep at night and not have to worry about my mom.Dawn Rush (ADON at Barclays)
