I live in Fairfax for college but Im originally not from the area, and I visit my dentist at home on breaks. But I found this office after I chipped a tooth and wouldnt be home for weeks. I went in and they repaired it on the same day, and it looks like new. It was quick and good service, and you cant even tell the tooth was chipped. The office was clean and everything was taken care of quickly and efficiently. If I were a permanent resident here, I would definitely make this my dentist. The staff is very kind, honest, and friendly. Dr. Hasan explained exactly what was going on and made sure I liked the way the tooth looked at the end, and they didnt do any unnecessary procedures. Overall a great experience.

Great experience! very quick in and out, thorough explanation from the dentist, Dr. Ahmed. I appreciated him sitting down and talking with me for a while, he personally did the cleaning and was very realistic about my teeth! Past dentists have not communicated very well, or offer you huge treatment plans without explaining why, but I truly enjoyed my time there! This is one of the best dentist offices I have ever been too. The office is beautiful, the staff is awesome. They make sure you understand everything before its completed and that you are comfortable after procedures. The doctor even went as far as to inform me where I could go to get discounted prescriptions.I would recommend this office to everyone and I plan on being a patient for life.

I am very pleased with our first visit to this dental office. Very impressive office and remarkable staff.I went their with my little family. Great atmosphere. First time check up for my 4yrs old son. He loved it. The doctor made him feel safe and relax. I knew we will not have issue with our next visit because he was talking about how nice was doctor Firdose and how brave he was all that afternoon.I totally recommend it for anyone seeking a clean and professional dental office with a very knowledgeable doctor.I want to add an important note, all their equipment is new .Looking forward to our next appointment.

Pine Tree is awesome! I havent been to the dentist in probably ten years so I was a bit nervous and excited (because Id been having on again and off again toothaches).I read reviews before going to the office and they were all positive and all accurate.The office is very beautiful and relaxing, the receptionist/ assistant is very nice. Throughout the duration of my appointment both the nurse and Dr. Ahmed made sure I was aware of what was going on. If I was in the chair, and they had to leave the room they would let me know and ask if I was doing okay. They informed me of what they were about to do before proceeding and consistently asked me how I was doing. After the appointment Dr. Ahmed explained every detail to me regarding the issues with my teeth, what was priority, and financial options. Im going out of the country in exactly two weeks and hes working with me to schedule me in before I leave so I will be able to get everything fixed before I go.I would recommend this office to everyone. I am completely satisfied with the services I received.

I was visiting my parents last week and decided it would be good to see a dentist for a second opinion on a tooth which has been troubling me ever since the dentist I have been going to for a number of years filled the cavity. I chose Pine Tree Dental because I did not know any dentists in the area and when Google brought up Pine Tree Dental I saw Dr. Ahmed is a General Practice Director and Practice Manager at the University of Maryland Dental School, where I used to work in academic affairs and know that all of the faculty I dealt with were very conscientious and ethical and Dr. Ahmed turned out to be all that I hoped he would be.As most of the other reviewers have already said, he was very punctual and I got seen promptly upon my arrival. He was very thorough in his examination of my teeth and spent time with me after the examination going over the x-rays with me, explaining what has to be done and why and what only has to be monitored and why, which is very rare to find these days as many dentists would just look at the x-rays tell you you are fine or you are not fine and never bother to consider you may want to know why. He was very knowledgeable and courteous throughout my appointment.In addition, all his staff were very courteous and friendly as well.Thus I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone in need of a new dentist in the area.

If you are looking for a friendly, more than capable dentist for you or your family this is the one!!I had a horrible pain in my mouth and wasnt sure what it was. I called Pine Tree Dental and they set up an appointment with me within the hour. When I came in the staff and the Dr were very friendly and helpful. I found out I had to get a wisdom tooth removed. They referred me to the dental surgeon down the road Stone Ridge Oral and Facial Surgery and they took me right away and relieved the pain and took out my wisdom tooth.The next day I sent my son and husband to Pine Tree Dental for a check up and they also had a pleasant experience. They are affordable and willing to work with you.We have finally found our family dentist.

As terrified as I am of the dentist, I have to say coming to Pinetree Dental was a pleasure. From the second I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile and a welcoming attitude by Cherry (Hygienist). I sat down for maybe 2 minutes and was called in right away, I love punctuality. Dr Ahmed is a very knowledgeable and interactive person. He was in the room from the beginning, which is very rare and hard to find. I felt confident that I was in good hands. He referred me to an oral surgeon that was just as friendly and as capable as him. I definitely will be returning for all my future dental needs, and recommend anyone with a phobia of dentists to come here as well. All your fears will go away. Thank you Dr. Ahmed and Cherry!!! :)

Dr. Ahmed is simply terrific. Very thorough and professional, but still extremely friendly. I dont know how my husband found him, but I am glad he did. We finally found a family dentist we trust and can confidently recommend. Thanks to the entire staff at PineTree.

I live out of state, and my kindergardner had a dental emergency - on a Saturday, no less. The kind team at Pine Tree told us to come in immediately. They were gentle and thorough and took the time to answer our questions and explain how to follow up with our dentist and pediatrician at home. My child was comfortable with a dental staff that hed never met before, which was a huge relief and a credit to the Pine Tree team. I wish I lived closer!

Dr Ahmed was able to take me the day I called to make an appointment. He explains everything, what needs to be addressed and what can wait. He is a professor at Maryland and is clearly very knowledgeable.

Pine tree dental is the best. Its been a long time looking for a dentist and finally I found one that I will not hesitate to refer or recommend to anyone. Dr Ahmed was the one that saw me he was so good not forgetting her assistant phiby she made me feel welcomed. shes super professional and nice. Her customer service is really good I cant describe. I didnt spend time waiting like to other dental clinics. As soon as I got there I was called in immediately. Dr. Shabrez Ahmed did a very good job on me. We were having bad experiences with the orthodontist they had (Dr Francisco) because he didn’t do the treatment for one of my daughters and he charged 350 dls to my insurance 😡 also he started a treatment in my oldest daughter that didn’t work properly because he wasn’t in the office frequently and he charged the insurance for 700 dls 😡 we had good experiences with Dr Shabrez but with the new Dr we had bad experiences with our cleanings because our mouths hurt for a week after our appointment and he did 2 fillings in my little one that fell off the next day 😒I told the Dr and he put them again but a few days later they fell off again 😒 I decided to take her with a Pediatric Dentist that told me that the fillings weren’t necessary and a horrible experience for my daughter because she experienced an unnecessary pain during and after the fillings (she had sensibility). I hope that our experience could help you.
