The most professional and thoughtful dentist office I have ever been too. They are so focused on making the experience positive and respectful that it really makes it easy to go. I would recommend Chantilly modern dentistry and Dr Altekreeti for everyone!

Dont go this place!!I dont understand why this place has so many 5 starts, not sure where they can buy these good survey. This place is so scam, they tried to upsell so many stuffs, but my teethes are just fine.How do I know this place is scam?I had a little crack on my front teeth, none of my preview dentists said it would be an issue, but how funny that they tried to convince me to fix it, which would cause a few hundred, just for how it looks. I was just there for my teeth cleaning, they took so many oral images of my teethes, and after two months, I received a $400 bill for these images. I clearly told them that I just wanted my teeth cleaning done, but they tried to sell me the night guard, deep clearing, and stuffs. The recommended bill came out was $5000 before insurance.My insurance sent me the bill, it only shows the charge for images. I had my teeth cleaning done there, but it was not in the bill. I guess they just put anything expensive there, so insurance can pay them more.

Regret going here.. I got a filling done last January that they ended up re doing and adjusting the bite multiple times on but it still feels sensitive.. before the filling I felt no pain or discomfort. My last visit in august they told me I needed several fillings but I went to get a second opinion this time and was told it wasn’t needed.

These guys are fabulous! Very friendly and helpful - extremely knowledgeable!Irvine at the front desk was wonderful and Dr. Mekic was fantastic. I was only here for an emergency crown to be re-glued, but they treated me like family. If I ever move up here again, they will always have my business!

This place has tried to upsell so so much, as I’m sure with every customer they have. Thank goodness though that my partner is good about insurance and reminding me that I always need to check with the insurance company to see if I’m being overcharged.When I first came here, I thought Dr. Valkharia and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. Irvine was very helpful in sending me my financial arrangement by email and Flor was always kind and conversational working at the front.When I noticed the first time they were up charging me, my insurance contacted them and Irvine billed the correct amounts, no problem. However, I came in on the 9th of September, and was shown an array of procedures I needed done, totaling to the amount of $2,336.00. An exorbitant amount for fillings and even more for a crown, which I knew was suspicious. Also, they had billed my insurance under Dr. Tuka (who was very nice) but they know Dr. Valkharia is my primary care dentist. Was this another attempt to get all my money out of my wallet? Dr. Valkharia also managed to do 6 fillings for me in one appointment. I thought that was weird and even one of my back teeth has a lot of space in between the other one from the work she did.So I called my insurance and spoke with a lovely lady who gave me the correct amounts for the procedures and lo and behold, $816. Quite the difference, right? I was told by Dr. Valkharia on my first visit, and Irvine reiterated, that their office did not do silver fillings, so according to my insurance company, they could not charge the upgrade fee. The insurance advocate contacted the office and spoke with Tatiana, who apparently, was very rude and defensive, and the representative told me she may not be willing to adjust the fees to the correct amount. She was also told by her, or whoever she spoke to next (because Tatiana hung up on her as the representative was connecting HR on the line) that they DO offer silver fillings. Why am I being told different information as an attempt to drain my bank account?I filed a complaint against them, and if I would have gotten those services, I would definitely have wanted my insurance company to investigate them.On a happier note, Marcia, who is the hygienist, is always super pleasant and even on a basic cleaning, does a thorough job. If everyone who worked there was like Marcia, they would not have these problems. When I saw her for my deep cleaning, she explained everything to me, and took a good amount of time. She is a 5 star employee in a 1 star dentist office.This place seems to cater to the rich and people who make a lot of money don’t bat an eye to the prices they try to charge you. But if you are like me, just trying to keep your teeth healthy but don’t have a six figure income, save your time. Do not do business with these people. It’s shady.I’m sad to be leaving this place and I will miss Marcia and the rest of the front staff who is kind. Don’t let all the smiles fool you though. They just want your money.

This place is notoriously known for filling quotas. They will charge you for extra services you did not need. Go to another dentist and just ask. This location is known for this.

I was quite nervous and embarrassed coming in since it had been years since Id been to the dentist. The staff was extremely kind and made me feel completely relaxed. They took the time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable with all the procedures. I highly recommend this practice! 😊

I cracked my tooth over the weekend and needed a new Dentist. I called Chantilly Modern Dentistry and was quickly scheduled first thing next day morning, and in less than an hour, my tooth was restored! Thank you Dr. Vakharia and all the Staff members for taking care of me very nicely.The treatment was painless, and quick . COVID-19 protocols in place made me feel safe and confident right away. Dr. Vakharia is very thorough and gentle – she examines in detail and take her time to explain everything to pt.Was an excellent experience. Now finally I found a good Dentist for all my family members….

My children and I have each been here once. Staff and Doctor were all friendly, respectful and caring. Reviews are most helpful when they explain how a difficult situation was handled - we had no difficult situations and have no long history to relay, but are perfectly happy so far and thus would recommend this business.

I had my first appointment at this office in January 2021 due to my old office not taking my insurance. I was hesitant to switch because I had been with my previous dental office since I was a child. However, I had a couple of people recommend this office to me, and let me just say...the staff did not disappoint. Amazing service starting from the first phone call to set up an appointment. Very thorough, and answered any and all questions. During my cleaning they recommended a certain procedure, which I was hesitant to agree to due to price, but it was 100% worth it because after just a month, I (along with the specialist) am already seeing great results. I would 100% recommend this practice to anyone!

My family and I have been going to CMD for years now for everything from fillings to crowns to regular and deep laser cleanings. It’s been a pleasant experience but it’s done a complete 180 lately. My parents waited a month for an appt, and got a phone call the day before the appointment saying they office would only be able to see one of them. The other would have to wait another month for the next available appt. When I asked if they could accommodate an earlier day (since the mistake was on their end), they told me they were doing us a favor by giving us a phone call first before the other patients who were double booked that day. Weird and inconsiderateWhen my parents did go in, they were charged $80 each with no explanation to them. CMD is under our insurance and our insurance covers cleanings here and my father clarified several times that they just wanted a simple cleaning. My parents were under the impression the $80 was for a regular cleaning and would be reimbursed by insurance. But the office is claiming that my parents got some sort of “special” cleaning done. Irvin, who was the one that had my parents pay and gave no explanation, was very, very defensive and rude over the phone. I would’ve understood if a deep cleaning was done, but we’re paying for a service that was not done!! My mother and father have gotten regular and deep cleanings done here in the past, cleanings twice a year the last 30 years. The cleaning they got that day was the typical 10 minute in-and-out. Nothing special. It’s been over a week and I’ve been having to call, stay on hold for 15+ minutes, and explain myself every single time on the phone to the staff, being told they’d leave a message and promising a phone call back but so far nothing at all. I’m not one to leave negative reviews but it’s reached a boiling point and is absolutely disappointing

They are great in the way that while I did not have dental insurance at the time (it was in pending mode for a period of time), they helped me with a payment plan and actually listen to you and not view you as a dollar sign. Most dental practices just ask for your dental insurance card and be done with it so they can get the money they need. The Dentist here was so sweet and understanding as she helped me deal with a Failed implant that had me crying in the chair.I wouldnt go anywhere else here in Centreville:-) except Chantilly Modern,..even if I move, I will drive to get work done.

Im visited on 07/10/2020 Friday.15 minutes of conversation cost me $ 104.They did not do x-rays, did not do any other diagnosis. They already had all the data about my teeth. That time I came to clean the spaces between the teeth in December last year.On Friday, you just told me the price for installing the fillings and crowns. The prices are incredible, it is space.I earn $ 104 for eight hours of security service, I work just part time. I am already retired with a very small retirement money.This society is rotten through and through. Monopolists dictate prices. No one cares about the health of the nation. Medical services are managed by the mafia. Particularly large and vile mafia among dentists. No health insurance covers dentist services.I see only positive reviews.People, you are not blind hope? Everyone sees only a polite treatment, friendly smiles in this office. Why no one sees the huge prices? Why does no one see that no medical insurance pays for dentist services? For such prices you can not only smile and compliment the patient, but also kiss him in the butt. Only 10% of the countrys population can repair their teeth. And all the rest go with rotten teeth or without them at all.I am ashamed of my country.

Chantilly Modern Dentistry was referred to me by a family member and I am glad I went there. I went there to examine my 7 yr. old daughters front tooth and the Doctor ,I think her name is Jainy Vakharia was very professional and friendly. My daughter ended up taking 2 teeth out and the entire process was so smooth and easy that my little girl didnt even cry . The entire staff from the front desk, to the dental assistant to the doctors were very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them !!!!

Everything went as smoothly as i could have asked for. of particular note was meeting with the office manager after he went through my insurance plan and we spoke step by step as to what insurance would cover and how much each procedure would cost, something i had not seen before at a dentist

This dentist office is amazing. I was greeted promptly and immediately noticed their procedures for Covid and I must admit, I’m impressed. Each and every person made me feel welcomed and like I was family. They explained each process and I felt like I was in good hands. The place is extremely clean! The Dr was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was uncovering thouroughly. Once she started her procedures she often asked if I was doing ok and I felt she cared about my well-being as the patient. Lastly I’d like to recognize Mr. Rodriguez as he was nice enough to explain my insurance and what benefits I have. Kudos to everyone at this location as I feel they are the perfect fit with their expertise and chemistry with handeling flow. 10/10 and I have already recommended this location to family and friends.

Highly recommend. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years and was anxious about it. I saw Dr. Mahdi Mojarrad today and he was fantastic! I will definitely be making this our new family dentist. The office is super new and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. As far as dentist appointments go, this one was the best I could ask for. They took their time explaining my benefits/coverage and didn’t rush the appointment.

Love this dentist! I avoided going for so long because I knew I needed a lot of work done. The dentist is kind, gave me a plan that would maximize my insurance benefits and offered great financing options and I have been able to get the much needed work done! The staff is great and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I have already recommended them to my friends!

Very clean, office staff is always nice. It was my third time going in for checkup and cleaning. There are different people you run in to: front desk, xray nurse, doctor, and hygienist. They are all professional and thorough in their work and always explains all the details before doing anything. Everyone there is amazing and always makes my dentist experience very comfortable. This was my first visit but I was beyond pleased with this practice. The staff (especially Christopher) is wonderful and Dr. Mojarrad was adamant about patient education - he made sure I understood every step of the treatment process before performing it. Tiffany (hygienist) was so gentle during my cleaning! I didn’t feel any discomfort at all and that is a FIRST. I’ve finally found a dentist office I love!

I have pretty bad anxiety about dental procedures, I havent been to the dentist in a while because of it, I had to have a large procedure done with two more looming...Im so thankful I found Chantilly Modern as everyone was so kind and patient. The doctor was gentle and quick. The constantly checked to make sure I was okay and stopped if I needed it. Although I need to come back for more it makes it easier to do so now that Ive found a dentist I trust and make me feel so comfortable. Thank you!

The accounting and front desk staff were also very genuine and friendly. I walk away with many goodies!!! The gift bag had so many great things I can use. The staff is professional and friendly and the office is clean (which is great!). My concern is they are constantly attempting to up sale you to the point where they make it seem as if you need the extra services (fluoride treatments, cancer screening even though you have no concerns or family history of such), etc. Be EXTREMELY clear with them on what you want and be EXTREMELY weary on what they are attempting to provide you. Ask tons of questions and use common sense. If you are healthy with no reoccurring issues or family history of issues, you probably dont need all the extras (and pay the $100s to get them).

My daughter just had her wisdom teeth pulled here at Chantilly Modern Dentistry. As most people know and get scared of any dentist. Let me tell you that we left our old dentist to come a broad here and what a great experience it has been. First, very polite and professional, clean and new state of art equipment, takes insurance and up front fees are very clear, and most important gentle and professionals working with my daughter. Can’t say enough about this place and my daughter has no fear about seeing a dentist at all anymore. She even left with a care package of different things to help her recover. Great dental office with wonderful staff! I Got my teeth cleaned here and everyone was very informative and provided amazing customer service. The process went by super quick and easy! Ive had the best dentist experience ever at this office. They are very thorough and detailed oriented which I really appreciate.My first visit was a bit longer then expected. They took almost 30 digital x-rays and pictures to really get to know my general oral health. It was neat seeing all of the pictures as they were taking them.After the initial exam, they make a plan and give every recommendation taliored for you and then they sit down with you and go through each item and tell you what your insurance covers and how much. The transparency is awesome. Everyone is very nice and the facility is very clean (it just opened less than a year ago).I am looking forward to my next appointment in the fall.

Dr Vakharia and staff are always personable and friendly. I have only been a patient with them for three months and I am glad I made the switch. After the initial full examination, I already knew I needed to have one of my crowns replaced and another tooth crowned. It was a much easier process having everything done in house and walking out the same day with my crown. Anyone who has had work done on their teeth knows there is an adjustment period after any changes made and I was amazed how my mouth/bite felt exactly the same when I left the office. I also appreciate knowing up front the cost of the procedure ....without having to wait for insurance adjustments and then getting a big surprise bill in the mail 2 months later. You know everything before they begin!! Highly recommend!

I needed a new dentist since my old dentist wasnt part of my new dental plan. In choosing a new place, I relied on google rating to help me pick. There were two places close to where I was looking. Chantilly Modern Dentistry had by far the higher rating. So I gave them a shot. And how glad I am that I did, they are fantastic! Walking in, you are greeted with a clean and modern office, very quickly followed by cheerful and helpful staff. The insurance expert is fantastic (he sits right around the corner)! I was treated to an extensive initial evaluation including very modern x-ray equipment, photos of my entire mouth, an extensive gum and teeth evaluation, an extended evaluation on a tooth that was giving me trouble. All the while, the staff, dental assistants, and dentist were absolutely fantastic! It was determined that I needed a crown on my troubled tooth. They didnt try to upsell me to a root canal. They were able to do the crown right then. The dentist was so skilled, I didnt even feel the needle going in. And she didnt over numb me so my entire head was numb, it was great! Here is the best part...they made the crown in house in a matter of 20 minutes! I left with a permanent crown, with no need for follow up appointments to waste my time! There is one bad thing, through our conversation, I learned that the dental assistant is going to dental school soon...I am sad that he will not be there long term, but maybe I will be seeing him there as a dentist in four years! Amazing! I am not sure I can put these words together or not, but, I am looking forward to my next visit to Chantilly Modern Dentistry!

I have a morbid fear of dentists and have been with the same one for the last 10+ years (60 miles from my home) all because I was afraid to go somewhere new. After hearing several very good reviews from my co-workers who see dentists at Chantilly Modern Dentistry I thought, lets give it a try.I had my first appointment yesterday for a chipped tooth. When I walked in, the office was bright and CLEAN and the receptionist was waiting there to greet me at 6:50 am! She was extremely friendly and courteous and managed to put a smile on my face and make me feel comfortable. I didnt have to wait long before one of the dental assistants came to get me for x-rays. I was VERY impressed with the technology used at this office and was likewise impressed with the techs knowledge and efficiency. The x-rays went quickly and I actually got to see them as they came up on the screen.Not long after the x-rays I got to meet Dr. Vakharia who did a thorough exam and then got to work. I was surprised to hear that I had a couple of cavities and also a bad crown that needed replacing. Normally I wouldnt trust something that was just told to me like that point blank, but Dr. V. showed me everything I needed to see on the x-rays and explained to me (in detail) why these were issues. Granted, it was a lot of work that I wasnt expecting to have done that day (since I originally visited for a chipped tooth) but they explained everything to me and called my insurance to let me know right then how much I would pay out of pocket for the services. There was ZERO pressure for me to get the work done...it was completely up to me. Being that Im very concerned about my dental hygiene I decided to ok the work.Thats when I was told it could all be done right there, same day. INCLUDING THE CROWN! I had never heard of same day permanent crowns before and was extremely impressed (but also somewhat dubious). But my doubts were completely allayed when I walked out of their office 3 hours later with a few more fillings and a nice new crown. They even took x-rays after to show me the before and after. There was a noticeable difference in what Id had before vs. what I walked out with. Oh and yes, they also polished my chipped tooth (which was very minor) free of charge!After years of dental disasters I never thought Id find a dentist I could trust. I told Dr. V I had a lot of anxiety and she kept me calm and talked me through every step of the procedure. The entire staff at CMD is incredibly friendly, attentive and make you feel welcome from the second you walk in to the moment you walk out. I cant speak highly enough about my experience here and I would recommend to anyone, especially those who have a fear of dentists and any kind of dental procedure. Thank you CMD for making me a VERY happy customer. Needless to say, Ive found my permanent dentist.

Absolutely loved the team at Modern Dentistry in Chantilly. From the time I walked in everyone was extremely welcoming. Dr. Vakharia and Shannon were both amazing and super throughough about everything. The will to educate the patient changes the game when you talk about patient experience. Chris was also extremely helpful and made sure I knew exactly what I was signing up for in terms of treatment and how it was going to affect me financial to ensure it was feasible and was the best approach. Ive got bad teeth and an aversion to dentists (obviously). So Im jaded.After calling at 7:15 in the morning, desperate and in a tremendous amount of pain, I was in a chair at this office getting x-rayed so I could receive treatment from Dr. Vakharia by 9:00.The staff on both the front and back of house were amazing. Treatment options were discussed with the doctor as well as their insurance specialist, in detail that was understandable and accessible.If you need a dentist, give this practice a try, you cant do better.

Dr. Vakharia and her staff are excellent. They make you feel comfortable and welcome when youre nervous and provide detailed and efficient work. Even for a fidgety patient like me, they made the experience relaxing. Dr. Vakharia explained all the work that needed to be done and they worked with my insurance company to make everything happen. The procedure was pleasant and painless. This was my first time visiting Chantilly Modern Dentistry and they had the latest technology equipments not to mention emasculate office. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for honest, professional, straight forward dentistry in Northern Virginia.

FANTASTIC!!! I was scared to go to the dentist because lets face it the cost is just outrageous! The moment I walked in the door I could tell it was a good office because I heard laughing in the back room (at 8 am). They were very kind and understanding. I have had teeth issues all my life and usually end up getting scolded by the dentist for my poor brushing habits. At this office they actually took the time to talk to me to find out what my greatest concerns. 5 stars is not enough for this office they need like 1,000. I look forward to working with them to get my mouth better because of them I now can see the end of this teeth nightmare.Ruchir was the dental assistant and he was great. He made me laugh and feel at ease through the whole process. Chris, was great in helping me to figure out and understand the insurance and financing. I have recommended them to my entire office.Anyone scared of the dentist for what ever reason should go here they will make it less scary and walk you through the whole thing step by step.Thank you soooo much Chantilly Modern Dentistry.
