I have been seeing Dr. Vinh for years, and hes great. He is calm and relaxed, telling me what I need to know and spending the time to take great care of my teeth.

The staff at Chantilly Dental are always friendly and welcoming. The office is clean and organized. The hygienists clean my teeth so thoroughly I look forward to going every 6 months.

Almost 8 months to do the right procedureOn 08/15/2020 – I had an appointment for a routine cleaning. They do the cleaning, but suggest that I need to get a deep cleaning on schedule. They informed me they would call my insurance to get a prior authorization done for this and give me a call back to schedule the deep cleaning. Meanwhile, they tell the front desk to set a tentative date (02/20/2021)On 02/20/2021 – I show up for the appointment. This is on me, I haven’t heard from them about the deep cleaning, I assumed I would find out more at the appointment or maybe this was the deep cleaning since I was already on the schedule. WRONG… they tell me that they can’t do any regular cleaning and that I needed a deep cleaning and need prior authorization. I mentioned to them that at the last appointment, they mentioned they were getting the prior authorization and I thought that this is what the appointment would be in place for. They said no. They send me to the front desk, telling the admin to get the prior authorization and put a note to contact me when it comes through.03/03/2021 – I haven’t heard from the office, so I decide to give them a call and check the update. I told the person on the phone the issue. Asked if the prior authorization was approved and if I can schedule my appointment for the deep cleaning. They sounded confused, asked who I spoke to about this. I had to go through the whole story again how at the last appointment they told me they were going to get a prior authorization for my deep cleaning. The person on the phone said there was no note of this, but they can make a note and get back to me on it.03/18/2021 – It has been over almost a month… I called again. Asked if the prior authorization came through… They said they had not heard from them yet. End of call.03/22/2021 – I finally decide to call my insurance company to see what is causing the delay. Maybe they’re backed up due to covid related issues. Insurance company informs me that the request wasn’t submitted until 03/09/2021, and it was approved on 03/14/2021. This means it was approved by the time I called the week before. I call Chantilly Dental right away and explain to them that the insurance company said it has been approved and if they could check their system. They said they’ll call me back. Calls back later and tells me it has in fact been approved and they never received any correspondence regarding it. Insurance company has assured me that they sent back the approved request. Anyway, I schedule my 2 appointments needed and go on about my day.03/29/2021 – Staff member calls me telling me that prior authorization has been approved and I can schedule my appointments. I’m confused because I am already scheduled for the procedure. They check the system and tell me they see it now. I don’t know why they didn’t check prior to calling me and making me think my appointments are cancelled.04/03/2021 – Before the Peridontal Cleaning, I requested if I could do it without the anesthesia because I have had it done at my former dental office. They said ok. Went along with the process. After the process was completed, the Hygenist then mentions that I should get the anesthesia for a deeper cleaning next time because they did an altered version. I don’t understand why they didn’t consult me prior. Im not a dental expert. I didn’t know. I asked since my former dentist was able to do a deep cleaning without it. It’s just frustrating that the consult came AFTER they finished and not before.04/10/2021 – This is my second appointment. Nothing crazy, but it is my last visit to this office. Both times they charged me my copay + extra $10 Office visit. I have never heard of this before. It usually is just the copay. I feel like they just added an extra charge to get more money. I’m sorry, but after all this, I just need to find another office.Side note: Please get a better appointment confirmation system, Ive received requests from 2 numbers, email, and a phone call on separate days.

Be carefully they claim fake billing to your insurance company, I was there for a consultant for my daughter but now i am seeing in my insurance portal thy are claiming they did lot of xrays and etc.. FAKE people be carefull!!!

I have been going to Chantilly Dental Center for years and my dentist is very professional and takes care of his patients incredibly. You dont find many dentists that do the great work as he does in this day and time. It is also easy to schedule even in last minute and the staff always welcomes me with professional and friendliness. The office is also clean and cozy.

Arguably one of the best dental practices in Virginia. The staff members were quick to book my teeth cleaning appointment at my desired time preference. From front desk service to teeth cleaning, the overall experience was impeccable to say the least. I highly recommend this place for folks who are looking for fast and professional dental service. I believe they also have another dental practice in Arlington called Arlington Center for Dentistry. For those who live near DC, definitely stop by their Arlington center.Will definitely come back.

Ive been a patient at Chantilly Dental Center for more than ten years now. The staff is great and the doctors there provide top notch dental services. I am particularly happy with the Orthodontic treatment from Dr. Mendez. He is very skillful and thorough. I took a while for my teeth to get straight since I am an adult patient but it definitely worth it.

Im really disappointed with this place. I went in with swollen gums around a wisdom tooth that hadnt grown out all the way. They took x-rays and did a quick exam. They handed me a prescription for antibiotics and pain relief. I was told that they would check with their one dentist who is the only person who can do a tooth extraction to see if hes comfortable pulling the wisdom tooth and if not they gave me a referral so I could go elsewhere to get it taken care of. In the mean time they were going to request authorization from my insurance company for the extraction, a routine cleaning, and to fill a small cavity. I called after a week had passed to follow up to see if #1) The doctor was comfortable doing the extraction and #2) if the insurance company approved the authorization. I was told that they were good to go and were just waiting on the authorization. So here I am, over a month later. I called the insurance company and found out that they approved the extraction, but denied the other two things a whole month ago! I called the office and asked for the status because it had been quite some time since I had heard anything, knowing full well what the answer was going to be already. The answer I got was that the authorization was approved a while ago. After being put on hold several times I was then told that I had to go to an oral surgeon and they already gave me the referral for that so they thought they wouldnt have to follow back up with me. So, wait a second....before the cleaning and filling in the cavities got denied they were going to move forward. Now I need an oral surgeon? If that was the case all along why even bother requesting an authorization? It seems like they were interested when they thought they were going to get more out of me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their communication and lack of follow up sucks. It was a waste of my time.

The People is professional y friendly!!

1st time here today. It seems that the staff here focuses more on business than customer relations. I was seen by 2 asian guys both of whom really didnt seem to care much about me enough other than to deal with my teeth and rush me out the door. At the end they gave me vague information on how to go about dealing with this for the next couple of hours. Simply to not eat for the next 2 hours. Overall they did an average job.

All service in house, from root canal, implant, dentures to braces. They are friendly, professional, caring, totally human, and kind. My family absolutely love Chantilly dental center.

The doctors are decent. But the front office and the accounts staff are the worst in the world. They cant make and keep any appointments on time. I had an appointment at 9:40 and have not been called yet till 10:10. On a previous occasion they threatened to charge me $100 and cancell my appointment because I was 15 minutes late. My insurances are not filed in proper order in a timely fashion. I stick with them as they are closest, accept all my insurances and it is only for a few more times till I retire and relocate.I have one free fluoride treatment next time for writing this review. More importantly, if they use the feedback they can improve and I will improve the rating. If not, ...

Really great dental group. All specialists in house. My family have everything from cleanings, crowns with Dr. Duy, Dr. Vinh, Dr. Julia to root canal with Dr. Yamaguchi. My kids had done braces with Dr. Mendes. I definitely recommend Chantilly Dental Center to all my friends!

I dont reccomend at all. I went in with a lot of pain and they only gave me some antibiotics when I asked them if it was my wisdom tooth they said no. The next day I decided to go to a other dentist location and it definitely was my wisdom tooth.

I had recently moved to the Chantilly area from New York, and I knew that I was overdues due for a dental check-up. Like everyone in the world, I can say that without question, going to the dentist is my least favorite thing to do. And unfortunately, for the past year the dentist hasnt really been on the top of my list of things to do.One of my co-workers recommended Chantilly Dental Center to me because of the fact that they are a Family dental office. After doing my research and checking reviews, I decided to give them a try.Dr. Vu was the Dentist who took care of me. He was definitely one of the best dentists Ive had in a long time. He was easy-going, knowledgeable, and a real people-person.The facility is clean and all of the equipment appears to be state of the art.They have computer monitors in every suite, so youre able to see your dental x-rays with the Dentist. He was able to quickly point-out all of the teeth that needed attention. It was really a great experience, I plan on having additional work done over the Spring.I would highly recommend their practice.

If I could give zero stars I would. Throughout all my years going on dentist visits this has to be my #1 horrible visit.

Visted Chantilly Dental Center to repair a chip on my front tooth. Dentist asked me if the work performed was complete. I asked him if he was serious because the tooth repair wasnt even straight. A frustrated dentist quickly attempted to fix the problem while lecturing me about his qualifications and experience. Less than a week after this work was done the same chip re-occurred. The facility refuses to issue any refund. I am concerned that this dental practice is licensed to practice in a developed country. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

I got a root canal and an extraction done. The dentist and nurses were nice but I never received any type of after care or anything they just sent me off. I had to call and ask about aftercare TWO days after my procedure was done. Also, one of the nurses obviously didnt take her job too serious because she was so nonchalant and was chatty patty about cutting the stitch in my month that she cut it too short and the dentist had to do it again. I also requested for my teeth to be filed and according to the manager they didnt have enough time to do that and I had to wait until the next time to get to done. Which is a way to get me to come back. I am really debating on going back because of the lack of common courtesy and professionalism.

Ive been to Chantilly Dental Center four times in the past two and a half weeks and let me first say I gave them their fair chance. What they did well was upon calling the first time they could get me in that same day which was important because of how much pain I was in. Unfortunately, that visit was a nightmare. They pulled a wisdom tooth that was not causing me pain, the dentist lied about how he was going to extract it (he did EXACTLY what he told me he would not do). This doctor also had the absolute worst bedside manner, and I mean BAD. He made me feel so nervous I almost asked them to stop the procedure twice. This visit ended they gave me MINIMAL pain relievers that didnt help and refused to refill once the 5 day bottle was out. My next 2 visits were just more of the same brisk visits with bad bedside manner.This last visit for a root canal has me furious though. My first visit we got an assessment of what all needed to be done and together formed a plan on the order that was best to take care of things. Today the root canal doctor was a new guy but is on staff and had a copy of my plan because its attached to my file he was going over with me at first. He ends up doing a root canal on the last tooth on my list instead of the first because he thought it would be better. Thats great, but he never discussed this with me. Now on one side of my mouth I have to recover from both my wisdom teeth being pulled within the week. On the other side of my mouth (that was my good eating side) I have an extremely sore molar that still needs a crown so I cant eat anything hard on that side now either. The doctor also FAILED to tell me that id be on a soft diet until I got the crown which minimum time is a week and a half. Moral of this story is theyre rude, lack communication and bedside manner, and they caused me A LOT OF PAIN AND SUFFERING that is completely unnecessary . Im already in the process of taking my business elsewhere

The worst customer service . First they said they dont have my name on the system when they clearly did after 15 mins of searching in the system . They had apparently shifted my appointment on other day . I will never come back .
