My entire experience here was positive and I felt well taken care of by the whole team. Dr. Burns did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable even though it had been a while since I’ve last been to a dentist. She took the time to explain each part of the visit thoroughly, and they went through pricing line-by-line so that I fully understood what was being done. I didn’t feel any pressure at all to get additional services like at past dentistries and everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend

I came in for a chipped tooth and was very anxious about this cost because I don’t have dental insurance and am broke. I am also a trans/non-binary person and this is honestly one of the only good experiences I’ve had in any doctor’s office. The staff used my name and pronouns and showed me more respect than some family members have (joking... kind of). I’m especially grateful to Kevin for their sensitivity in informing the staff of my info so that I didn’t have to a bunch of times. This is truly how you run an inclusive office. THANK YOU.

Dr. Meredith Burns runs an amazing establishment, with friendly staff and a clean environment. She took excellent care of my needs and all questions that I had about the health of my teeth, and made sure I was taken well care of. The receptionist Kevin was very knowledgeable and kind, and was attentive while I waited for service. Overall, 10/10 and am quite happy I found such a great Dentist in the NOVA area.

At the recommendation of a friend, I visited Dr. Burns for my first general dental check up in 5 years. I am very scared of the dentist and have had bad experiences with fillings in the past, so had been avoiding going to a dentist for quite some time. Dr. Burns and her whole team were professional, kind, and made me feel at ease throughout the process. The technician takes very extensive x-rays to get a good baseline (it literally feels like they x-ray each tooth individually, which was tedious, but it was worth it because Dr. Burns was able to get multiple views of suspicious looking lesions later on). The cleaning process was painless and I was comfortable throughout. I needed to have one cavity filled and the injection and filling process was the quickest and painless cavity filling experience I have ever had. If dentist visits are like this, I wouldnt mind going every six months! I have already told my other family members in the area to visit Dr. Burns and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled and kind dentist.

Dr. Burns was the best dentist experience that Ive ever had! Before I even saw her, the office, and staff themselves were all so bright and friendly. Dr. Burns listened to my concerns and adjusted her treatment plan accordingly. In the past dentists have ignored me when Ive mentioned that cleanings are extremely painful for me because of my gum recession, but Dr. Burns listened and adjusted her treatment so that I would be numb for the cleaning and I didnt experience any pain at all. She was also very fast and efficient. She explained everything in ways I could understand, and I am completely confident that the treatment course she is advising for me is in my absolute best interest. She was nice and funny and made me feel very comfortable during the entire visit (which is not an easy task - I normally hate going to the dentist). I left feeling more confident in my dental health than I have in a long time. I would highly recommend to anyone to go see her for their next dental visit! Even though there are many dentists that are located much closer to me, I chose to drive an hour away to go see Dr. Burns and it was a hundred percent worth it. I plan to keep going to her as my dentist for as long as I can!

I was disappointed when Dr. Bhangra left the practice, but Dr. Burns is great. Shes very thorough, and gave me great recommendations for my toothbrush, toothpaste, and even flossing. Her direct manner made me want to do a better job before my next cleaning, but I didnt feel like she was nagging me. The office itself is very nice and clean, they take all the Covid precautions, and all of the other staff was very friendly.

I felt compelled to leave a review for South Riding Modern Dentistry after my husband and I had some dental work done today. They were able to do everything requested in one visit as we have very hectic schedules. (Deep cleaning, crown etc) Every staff member in the office that we came in contact with today were so professional, knowledgeable and very welcoming including the Dentist, assistant, hygienist, the front desk staff, and manager. Very accommodating and helpful with figuring out what coverage was available etc. Dr. Bhangra was phenomenal!! She explained what would be best for my needs and took her time. Nothing felt rushed!! If you’re looking for a great dentist/office that puts your needs first, please choose this one. I promise you’ll be very pleased.

Not a fan. I came twice.First time in June/July. I waited 40 minutes and that was annoying, but they just reopened after covid and so I gave them some slack. The dentist apologized for being late, and I told her 40 minutes is a really long time to be late, but covid is hard.I returned for another cleaning yesterday, in October (I know it wasnt 6 months but I love getting my teeth cleaned). I was 2 minutes early, went inside and waited for 20 minutes. I seriously was wondering if they forgot about me, so I went back to the first desk to ask her. She said there were 4 people ahead of me to see the dentist so it will be 5 minutes. I was like 5 minutes with 4 people ahead? She said 5-10minutes. Please keep in mind I already waited 20 minutes, so that would make it waiting 25-30 minutes, but that was just her guess. There were 4 people ahead of me to see the dentist, how could take only take 10 minutes???? Also why am I seeing the dentist first? I just wanted a cleaning???I left. I am VERY annoyed I wasted my time there. Especially because I called in and asked how long the appointment would take because I had a meeting. They said 45 minutes. That means if I got out on time, then my cleaning would have been 5-10 minutes?THIS IS SO OKAY. Dentist need to stop overbooking and making us wait.

This is by far the most professional and clean dental office I have ever been to. Dr. Bhangra is one of a kind! Her work is the best, she is honest and straight to the point. She takes so much pride in her work which is so important when it comes to your dentist! I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE EVER!

The most amazing dental experience Ive had. I went in for some fillings, and left with the utmost confidence that I could ask dr bhangra about ANYTHING - even my worst dental insecurities.I have had wonderful and terrible experiences with dentists. Most have been painful. And as a consequence, I have been uneasy about all dental work, which also means that even cosmetic work has been terrifying for me. Dr Bhangra changed everything.She has completely reversed all my hesitance. I am actually excited to go to the dentist for the first time.Dr Bhangra spends an enormous amount of time with me, explaining what shes going to do, why, how, and every detail about it. When I am holding the pain in, she notices, backs up and does something to make it to away. Sometimes its as simple as a warm blanket or a gentle jaw massage, sometimes she changes what shes doing to the tooth itself. Her perception and responsiveness are unparalleled.It is often a bit intimidating to talk to doctors during covid due to the face masks and white coat syndrome among everything else. Dr. Bhangra is also very professional and kind, and so I often catch myself hesitating to tell her things because I dont want to bother her. Whenever I do this, she notices, and invites me to share. Even the most self conscious details about why my teeth are a certain way or what I am unsure about. Its hard to believe you can get so much interpersonal love and care in a doctors office!I have made a few more appointments since and they have all matched up exactly the same - its not just the first one.

I highly recommend SR Modern Dentistry. My mom is from out of town, had a severe toothache for a few days and many places were closed. I called and Mr. Christopher, scheduled me a next day appointment. When I got there, he was very pleasant and quickly had my mom seen by Dr Bhangra. I cant say how pleased and comforted we were immediately. Their attention to detail was perfection. My mom received top notch service even though she was in serious pain, she would not stop talking about how gentle and thorough they were with her. I had to wait in the car, but then the doctor spoke with me about her plan of care. Thank you so much Dr. Bhangra, Mr. Christopher and the dental assistants for all your help. I have mixed feelings. I went in May and it was great. And I have since moved to Ohio and received a notice that my appointment was coming up. I did not make an appointment because I was moving to Ohio. This leads to to believe that they schedule appointments for their patients without their knowledge so they are forced to keep coming. I had this happen with another South riding dentist as well as the Toyota car dealership. Super shady. If you go you will be well cared for. But watch out for this dishonesty.

I have been looking for a dentist for over 3 years since mine moved out of the area. All the employees are very welcoming and friendly. The dentist, hygienist and assistant are very thorough explained everything and asked me multiple times if I’m okay and need anything. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a dentist or does not care for going to the dentist. They will change your mind.

I needed a new dentist in the area, and the team here was great! The new office space was very nice, clean, and modern. They were very kind and efficient the whole way through. I ended up needing fillings, and they explained my costs up front, and they were able to take care of it quickly and painlessly right away! Overall, it was a great dental office experience.

I came in and didnt get my cleaning done. It took over an hour to figure out my insurance and what kind of cleaning I need. I asked for my regular cleaning but they said I need to have some laser cleaning and all shorts of add on that bumped up my cleaning to be $300 verses using my preventive coverage. This place is very salesy. I am not satisfied how they approached me during my first visit. Ill be going back to my old dentist who are more family oriented.

Came here for a cleaning and possible cavity. They gave me the filling for the cavity right away so I didn’t have to come back! They explained everything really well and showed me the price of everything before they started. The office is nice and so are the staff!

The best dentistry by far! Dr. Bhangra, assistant Suniti, manager Diego, the hygienist, the front office attendant, awesome team of pros! They are expert in their respective field; super friendly and very comforting office. I and my daughter felt everyone cared about us! The facility has nice look-n-feel with brand-new modern equipment, digital X-ray, latest dental technology, modern kit, sparkling clean area, just amazing! My mouth guard was ready in less than a week and fitted perfectly on the first try! The doc answered all my questions, explained X-ray results, educated me about my dental health and explained proactive and preventive measures, very interesting to have learned that teeth grinding can also cause headache. I am glad to have found this dentistry, and will recommend others to allow your dental health be in hands of this team of young pros! Amazing, and I wish them all the best to maintain the outstanding service!

The dentist was very friendly...i did not feel like they were trying to take advantage of me, which I feel feom most densists I been to. The dentist was very gentle and show genuine concern for any areas in my mouth that I felt any discomfort (i have very sensitive teeth. I plan on making this my regular dentist.
