Dr. Truvan and his team are absolutely fantastic. I have been a patient here for over five years and have never had a bad experience. The office is pleasant, the staff is all great, and I have recommended them to many of my friends over the years.

This place continues to send me a bill for nearly $200 related to a procedure (some kind of extra cleaning) they were not forthright about during my visit. If I had known it would result in a $200 charge, I would have passed. Further, I had two procedures scheduled on a visit, and they said they only had time for one. This place is just about $ and will also jerk you around. Stay away. Dr. Truvan is actually great, but the way this company conducts business is suspect.

I was fortunate to find TruSmiles dental office late 2013.He is a wonderful dentist. I usually take a little power nap while he works. His office is up to date, very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. I have since moved to an area that requires that I sit in the traffic on 95. However, he is worth it. When you find the best, you dont bother with the rest!

Im so glad I found TruSmiles! Dr. Truvan is nice, and considerate in all areas that make him a good dentist. Hes calm and careful when doing work, and kindly explains every part of what hes doing or what he needs from you as a patient (open wider, bite on the right side, etc. . .). If dental work is needed he goes the conservative route, keeping your health as the first priority.But thats just Dr. Truvan. The office as a whole is pleasant, neat, and welcoming. Since its smaller, they can keep it clean and up to date too. No sitting around waiting for your doom in this waiting room. They have a small refrigerator with refreshments, the TV plays something entertaining, and he has good music playing in the back, while maintaining a serenity throughout the office as a whole.The staff is very nice, and quick too; they know what theyre doing. Mary at the front is one of the nicest people youll every meet, and when you walk through the door she welcomes you like shes known you for years. She knows exactly what to do if theres any issue with insurance, and when you leave she is on top of things. Shes ready to schedule your next appointment and readily answers any other questions you have. Shes even willing to listen to an anecdote or two, which is really something to appreciate.And the synergy! This close team is on the ball, they run like clockwork. Once you walk back, theres hardly any waiting, all the tools are where they need to be, and Dr. Truvan doesnt waste time. Once hes finished explaining anything he needs to and you depart, Mary already has all the details for your appointment, is ready to schedule your next cleaning, and any other appointments you need before then.

I have been going to Dr. Truvan for over 10 years. I love the atmosphere that his office creates. Dr. Truvan spaces out his appointments so that you never have to wait in the waiting room and all his attention is on you. His office is very clean and modern with new and up-to-date technology (you can even watch TV in the chair!). I also enjoy his staff! His receptionist, Gina is very friendly and personable and I always feel welcomed! He has done an excellent job whether it is a six month check up or a cosmetic procedure. Our whole family sees Dr Truvan and he is by far the best dentist we have ever used. He is incredibly thorough and gentle and explains things very clearly. Everyone in this office is extremely friendly - from the front office, to the hygienist, to Dr. Truvans assistant and of course Dr. Truvan himself. The office is maintained impeccably well and they are always very punctual in seeing us at our appointment times. Last Sunday my 9 year old broke a tooth - I reached out to Dr. Truvans office on Sunday evening and got a call first thing in the morning and they managed to get us in right away. I assumed Dr. Truvan would have to rush the appointment as they squeezed us in but not at all! He was his usual calm, caring, thorough self - and he even told me to call his emergency line next time and he would have come in on the weekend! He completely had my son at ease before doing a fantastic job of fixing his tooth. Ive always had a great experience at TrueSmiles with every visit. They have a great office, it is super clean and bright. After years of avoiding the dentist due to a handful of bad experiences and busy work/life schedule and extensive online research for a good dentist, I have finally came across one that I can place my trust in and walk out smiling instead of crying like a baby from the pain and a dented bank account – TruSmiles Dental.From the minute I called in to schedule an appointment, I was already feeling relieved. Gina was super energetic, professional, and attentive. She got me a spot in the same week! She sent me an email with detailed instructions to fill out the necessary forms before-hand to maximize my appointment time, which I thought was very clever.The day of the appointment…was I scared? Yep. Wanting to turn back around and cancel? You bet. But it had to be done so I pushed myself along. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by Gina. As she was checking all my paperwork and getting me set up, she chatted with me making the short wait feels even shorter!I was then greeted by the dental assistant (if only I had asked for her name again since I didn’t quite catch it when she introduced herself). But she was outstanding!! Literally talked with me and got to know me the whole time she was getting me situated and thoroughly taking my X-Rays, which really calmed my nerves down.Dr. Danny Truvan then came and introduced himself. He was very genuine and professional in explaining the steps he will be taking in taking care of me during the visit. The equipment and tools that he has were far beyond any that I have seen before in other dental offices. This past Saturday I ended up chipping my two front teeth. I wont tell you how exactly, but the whole ordeal left me looking like a well-dressed Asian pirate. So I contacted Dr. Truvan on extremely short notice and told him my situation. He calmed me down (Over the phone mind you. Personal service win.) and talked me through it, and made an emergency appointment for me only a couple days later. I walked in, greeted by his attractive and friendly staff. I filled out the necessary paperwork and within minutes I was prompted for X-rays. Soon after Dr. Truvan sat me down and gave me my options for both the immediate future and long term.I will have to say though, the procedure was relatively uneventful, and thats a good thing. He was actually able to sneakily inject my gums with the numbing stuff without me even noticing. He took care of not only my two front broken teeth, but ended up taking extra time out of his schedule to basically rid an entire area full of cavities and broken fillings. I was pretty amazed. After it was done, I looked in the mirror and chomped down. Not only did he get everything perfect, he did it on the first attempt!All in all, the experience was better than I ever could have hoped for. Dr. Truvan is a pro, learned, an accomplished expert in his field. Dentistry to him is an art, and your mouth the canvas. I can definitely say he takes pride in his work. He and his staff are clearly knowledgeable, skilled, and focused on the needs and condition of the patient. Hell sit down with you, explain your options and help you choose the best one for you.Oh one more thing, his place is super clean, modern, and neat. Im no expert, but the machines and technology he uses seems pretty top notch, advanced cameras, cool suction contraptions, lots of screens, and like a panoramic X-ray machine.
