I have had nothing but problems, it seems, with this group. My contacts keep getting messed up and I paid almost $500 for glasses and they are flimsy and the lenses rattle because they are too thin. Also charge if you do not want to get your eyes dilated. The company my contacts got ordered from sent me the completely wrong brand. The really only redeming quality, it seems, is Angie who is a manager I believe. She is always helpful and gets what I need. She is the reason I gave 3 stars, but I could have gone out of network to a better place and paid just as much. Not impressed, but that has been my experience...

This was my first time at Visionworks for an eye exam. Everyone that I encountered was very friendly and professional. I liked the wide variety of frames for men and was easily able to choose a frame that I liked. I definitely will be going back.

This was my first time coming to vision work’s Carmel and I have been looking for a good eye doctor for my kids for a while now and my kids were also in need for new glasses from the time we arrived and the time we left they were friendly and helpful and they were able to get them in and out with the eye exam and I was able to do the paperwork before coming in with my kids and that was a breeze and my kids were able to find great styles and colors in glasses to wear on our health insurance plan I would go visit them again for any reason if my kids need to be seen or get replacements in glasses and I would recommend this location to anyone else

Angie (supervisor) supposedly says she worked herself up ok I’m proud that’s how it works ...was really rude .... while letting her know that I ran out of contacts ,she was like on a yearly supply ? Uhhhh yes I said I ran out of contacts I did not know there were restrictions on vision especially if they are being funded for this is a necessity especially if your blind like me .being restricted on a thing that I need in order to drive or work to see basically . Hope her glasses break or steps on dog poo idc maybe since you’re a supervisor you can change some things

Cassie is A-Mazing. She has mastered or at least works consistently at perfect service. Even though she was busy, she knew I didnt want to wait.She stepped out for 2 minutes and got me squared away. It was an exceptional 2-minute transaction, because she put me first.Im now a visionworks fan, mostly because of Cassie.

First time seeing a eye doctor in Indiana and Dr.Kaur was excellent, fastidious optometrist!! The whole process was wonderful. Easy, friendly check-in. Minimal waiting for the Doctor. Jazzmin helped me pick out a nice pair of glasses. I would highly recommend them!

I want to thank Stacia for my wonderful customer service experience! She was very helpful finding the right frames that looked great on me! She had a little complications with my insurance but handled it like a champ! After I left the store I decided I wanted to add transitions to my lens and she took care of it without my presence! Just a wonderful experience overall. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Dr Kaur, an IU grad, was personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Pricing was very competitive. Made my appointment and they worked us in the next day. Great experience! The eye exam was very thorough and the doctor was wonderful. She answered all my questions and explained every step of the exam. The people working in the front were extremely nice and helpful. Great selection of frames. Highly recommend this location.

They gave me a “promise date”of 10-14 days. After calling store 3 times, i got glasses on 18th day. No discount WHATSOEVER even though the manager Angie got involved to expedite my order. I highly do NOT recommend this place. What good is a promise when they break it and do nothing about it. Unbelievable.

I waited a month for my glasses, here it is two months later and still haven’t received a call that my contacts are ready. I called today to be informed that they are there but it was a note stating I would call to set up an appointment ( how would I know that) I see better with my old prescription and my glasses are now broken, the appointment is a week out from today so I pray Jesus Lead the way for my sight until then.

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a Visionworks or any business of its kind, really.And I went during the Covid-19 “lockdown”.They had a great system for keeping everyone safe and they stuck to it.Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The optometrist was patient and thorough. Didn’t rush me when I was going back and fourth on which number was clearer. She talked me through everything. Double checked my eye scans and looked into my eyes to make sure her diagnoses was correct instead of making a quick call based on just the scan.I don’t rate stuff very often but this experience was above and beyond. 10 stars!

I decided to give them a second chance because In the past it wasn’t a good experience. I found out they’re under new management which it’s great. Better customer service and they take time to help you.They have done a great job with my kids glasses, no issues and got a text to pick up the glasses which it’s good because I forget everything.Thank You!

Friendly people and very well kept place. I liked the wide range in choices of glasses they had and I enjoyed the helpful service when finding the ones I liked. They did spend a few extra days more than I expected getting my glasses ready for me but other than that I’m glad I chose to go there.

I will never return to this place! The staff is very unprofessional and incompetent. It seems as though all they care about is selling their products and referring you elsewhere for a true diagnosis. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!!!

Amazing experience. Right on the money for the prescription I needed. Went elsewhere randomly and used my insurance but had a very bad outcome. Then I came to visionworks — paying full out of pocket price to correct the other company’s mistake. It was worth every penny to see Dr. Colon. Great doc. Great team. Go to visionworks!

Our last visit took a lot longer than usual due to the promotion going on, which is to be expected. Dr. Colon is very friendly and personable and the rest of the staff is very helpful.

I switched to VisionWorks two years ago and have been so happy. Dr. Colon always takes time with me and my kids and searches for just the right vision solutions. She is also super personable. Have already highly recommended her and VisionWorks to my friends.

The staff in store were very friendly however, I was really surprised when the general manager came into the store and took the staff away for a meeting while my elderly mother had to wait while they talked in a group. We where also not the only customers waiting. The general manager needs to understand that the customer always comes first. To be fair our first visit with the in store manager went very well, but they lost me with the poor way the general manager totally disregarded the waiting customers on our weds visit. The stars were deducted by two for that visit. Dr. Johnson was a gem btw.

One person working and one person doing nothing 4 customers waiting for the one person working. The one working was clueless of the customers waiting. No apologies for nobody to help, just nobody cares attitudes. Save your time and go elsewhere.

Good service from the front desk/check in; however, Dr. Roxana Colon provided horrible service. This was only the 2nd time in my life (Im 50) that Ive had an exam and she very unaccommodating. Basically felt like she implied I was stupid because it was difficult for me to give accurate answers during the eye exam and that my eyes were nothing like what the computer said they should be. Just a tip - if you are not comfortable with the eye exam process, do not get the computer eye exam, as it is harder to focus and adjust during the eye exam compared without having your eyes dilated, and like me, you will not get a very accurate prescription. Also, I had brought up several concerns and questions that I wanted to speak to the Dr. about after the exam, which she did not address at all, just wanted to get me out of there because she was frustrated. So, I agree with one of the other reviews, avoid this place unless you already have a prescription. Do not use their Drs.

I have had two very negative interactions at this location. I went for an exam in December of 2015 and ordered contacts and glasses. I was told my insurance would cover the cost of a year supply of their private label contacts and if I purchased glasses too I would get 50% off of those. I usually wear Acuvue but was told Aquatech was just as good but much less expensive. I was quoted $400+ for a year of Acuvue but only $130 for a year of Aquatech. I walked out paying $200 (allegedly for the 50% off glasses.) I was able to get the glasses the same day and told the contacts would be in a week later. When I went to pick up the contacts there were only two boxes - 6 pairs. I said there must be a mistake because I was supposed to get a year supply. They said no mistake and showed me the receipt. I was blatantly mislead about what I was purchasing. They also told me that each pair was good for one month (it isnt, the box says 2 weeks.) I called in asking to speak to a manager who was very rude and essentially blamed it on me for thinking I could get a year of contacts for $130. I asked many times if the rep was sure it was a full year supply because it seemed too good to be true. The contacts are GARBAGE and I struggle to make it through the two weeks for each pair. They also wrote the prescription for ONLY that brand which ONLY Visionworks carries. To avoid the store I have been ordering them online to get me through until my next eye exam. They are ALWAYS backordered. Today I called to see if they would get me a trial pair to get me through until the order comes in and was told that since they have a different doctor (third one in less than a year) I would have to pay (out of pocket) for another exam and fitting. That is absolutely absurd. My prescription hasnt changed and there is no reason I would need another exam 8 months later. Avoid this place at all costs!

Dr. Colon was as patient as she could be considering the circumstances. Waiting for my glasses in the mail, we shall see how the rest of the appointment goes!
