Our first appointment with Doctor Kim was awesome . He went over my MRI and now I have to get x-rays and ct scan. He really helped me understand my issues and cant wait for my follow up . tyGREAT STAFF ALSO !!!

I went in for a consultation for a lower back injury. I ended having to wait an hour and a half before I was seen, for 20 minutes of the doctors time. He didnt listen to my situation but he did give me good information about my MRI and disk health. But the bill for this 20 minutes was $700 bucks ($350 after insurance for me) which was not worth it.

I am so happy that I was able to find Inspired Spine. I had been suffering from what was diagnosed as a herniated disk in my lower lumbar for about 2 years before finding Inspired Spine. This herniation then generated a pain that stretched down the right side of my back and down all the way to my toes (also known as Sciatica pain). I would describe myself as a fit healthy person and this was having a considerable toll on my hobbies/ lifestyle. Early on, year 1, I had went to Fairview general clinic to resolve the problem and pretty much wasted my time with their supposed solutions. I gave up with their PT as it was doing nothing and at 40 dollars a pop it became a waste of money. I then just ignored my symptoms for a while and I was doing my best to work through the pain but it got to the point that I needed an expert to examine me. I then decided to consult an expert on the matter and thus how I found Inspired Spine.Reluctant to set an appointment as I have encountered much failure in finding a solution to my problem I set up an appointment with Dr. Kim. He quickly diagnosed me with a herniated disc and requested an MRI to ensure the diagnosis, a consideration that no other health professional had even considered up to this point. We then figured out it was in fact a herniated disc and he suggested a Lumbar Microdiscectomy would be the best option for me as my symptoms were worsening and I had been struggling with my symptoms for 2 years now. I agreed and the clinic did a great job in setting up my appointment and communicating all the necessary requirements needed of me. A little anxiety set in as I had never had surgery before but the nurses and doctors instilled a confidence in me and ensured I would be so much better after the procedure. When I woke from the procedure I was amazed to find that all of my sciatica pain had been relieved. The only pain and discomfort I had was from the incision site. 1 month later and I am playing basketball with friends and in such a better physical state.I am so grateful for everything Inspired Spine gave back to me. You never know what you lose until its gone and now I can walk and play with my baby boy without wincing in pain or needing to take breaks. I would recommend this clinic and Dr. Kim 10000%.

I wish to relate my personal experience regarding Dr. Abassi and his staff’s treatment of my lumbar L3-4-5 problems. I am 73 and have been active my entire life up until the past few years when pain and numbness in my left leg continued to get worse which prevented me from doing a lot of the things I used to enjoy doing. The Doctor performed the OLLIF procedure to insert 2 fusions. Was walking the same day and released from the hospital by noon the following day. Took myself off the strong narcotic pain medication after only 10 days. Now, several months after surgery I am back to doing many of the activities that used to enjoy. Overall, am personally very pleased with the entire process and glad that I made the decision to have it done. Good job Dr. Abassi and the entire staff at Inspired Spine.

I am a 61 year man and had L4-S1 OLLIF procedure by Dr. Hamid Abbasi...I must say that when I woke up after the surgery I was instantly aware that the pain that had been running down my left leg for 6 months was completely gone. Now it has been a month since surgery and I feel great. I am telling anyone who asks about back surgery, this is the technique to have done and the surgeon to have do it. I cannot thank Dr. Abbasi and his staff enough for the pain relief and freedom they have provided me! I no longer have to sit around the house with back and leg pain sitting on a heating pad. My nearly 45 minutes surgery have given me my life back. Thank you so much!

Staff is wonderful. Never had a better experience when its come to my back pain. The issue was sorted out immediately, Dr. Abbasi is brilliant and just wants to take care of patients in a more efficient, less invasive way. Dont think twice...just go listen to what he has to say. You dont need to do an archaic surgery. My L4/L5 fusion took 35 minutes on 3/8/2019 and Ive been fully mobile since day 2. Im back to light workouts...its 5/22/2019. The old fashioned fusion will have you on bed rest for MONTHS.

My experience was to miraculous the scar was small and within a few months my very severe pain was gone Id recommend Dr.Obassi to all who need this type of surgery.
