Beware! They do not offer frames paid by Medicaid ! I was SUPER annoyed bc when I made an appointment , no one mentioned that They ONLY take Dr. Dynosaur for the doctor appointment but they do not honor Dr. dinosaur for frames. I only learned this after my kid was done with the doctor appointment part and we were ready to get frames. It took weeks to get an appointment. So, rather than go somewhere else, I end up having to pay for frames. The last place I went offered a selection of frames paid by Medicaid.

Great office. Dr Dora is highly qualified. She has the latest and best equipment in the State. She is the first eye Dr to prescribed the right type of glasses to help me deal with migraines and headaches. I highly recommend her office. Her whole staff is very nice also.

This is by far the best place in town. The entire team is excellent! 10/10

Great Optometrist. I got special glasses (Neurolens) and I was hesitant at first because of the expensive price but the glasses have helped my headaches and helped me be able to spend most of the day in front of a computer screen without straining my eyes. Dr. Dora is an ultra smart 🤓 Optometrist. Her precise knowledge and advanced equipment provides an extra level of care that you wont find at other lens specialists. Her staff is greatly in tune to what you are looking for in a pair of frames or contacts. It always amazes me on how fast (almost instantly) they can select a pair of frames that Im looking for and makes the visit so wonderful for me ... Dr. Dora is simply the best in the State of Vermont. Thank you, Dora!

Super expensive. Both frames and lenses were much more than another local shop. Exact same frames were about 35% less. They also needed alot more time to get the glasses done as they dont do it in house. I do not recommend

I love this place! They always go the extra mileto make sure you’re taken care of. I had a 4pm appt and was their last patient. After my examI looked for new frames... and I’m the worst shopper for glasses. All the ladies helped me and gave their opinions to help me decide. I was trying to hurry because I knew they closed at 5 but they made sure I took my time and got frames I love. I used to always just call around and pick an eye doctor by whoever had the first available appointment. I have been a patient here for a few years now and don’t intend on going anywhere else. Thank you ladies for all you do!

Lovely Staff - Lipa-flow procedure didnt work for me. Was kind enough to try again, though still no lasting effect. Expensive procedure - know going in it may, but also may not work for you.

I have been wearing corrective lenses for the last 50+ years. The doctor was great and accpeted my insurance. The selection of glasses is excellent. They have a particularly large collection of petite frames from a number of brands. The staff are excellent in helping people find frames that work for their face, prescription, etc. Several friends asked me their info as soon I mentioned petite frames. This is the place to go for smaller frames if you live anywhere near Burlington, VT.

I loved my experience at Choma. I went there because I was impressed with their website & my visit did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and engaging. This place is the absolute best! They really take care of their clients and work with you to make sure you understand what is happening during the eye exam, what the eye exam results mean, and your options in buying glasses/contacts. Wonderful staff and service!

I went there to get a second opinion on a previous exam elsewhere. Dr. Sudarsky was very careful to only do the portion of the re-exam that I needed in order to save me money because she knew I was paying for this out of pocket.She and her staff figured out the issue and got my new lenses ordered quickly and easily. I have already decided to go back next year for my next exam because she has definitely earned my trust.

Everyone at Chroma Optics is great! They have state of the art equipment, the best frame selection around, and a highly competent staff. Bonus if you go on a day Olive the dog is watching over the shop!

Chroma Optics is a new and fresh addition to the optometry scene in Vermont. not only is the staff incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, but the versatility of the space, and wide range of merchandise makes it so unique. they carry lines that are exclusive to the store, that wont be found anywhere else in the greater Burlington area. Their state of the art technology is the best in the area which is why I wouldnt imagine going anywhere else for my eyecare needs. they fit me with the best pair of glasses that I absolutely love!! would strongly recommend to everyone!

I only came here for frames, of which their are thousands (okay maybe not but the selection is quite expansive) Jordan helped me, and she is wonderful. She really has an eye for what will flatter the shape of your face. She has a lovely personality, and is extremely patient while you are trying them on. She wont make you feel like you are wasting her time or interrupting her. She wont give you the impression that she has something else more important to be doing, while she is helping you. She wasnt texting on her phone or otherwise occupied or distracted at all. The one time she had to step away, she was very respectful and was back to the task at hand straight away. The whole time she was with me, she was present with me, thats quite a difficult thing to find in todays overscheduled, distracted, zero attention span world we live in now, where good customer service takes a back seat too often. That matters to me, it makes a difference to me if they deserve my business or not, and they do. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.

Its very hard for me to choose frames. I sort of panic. Dora and the staff are just wonderful, they really listen to what you want and have no problem telling you the truth, as in, Nooo...those frames dont work. Lets try these. I have received SO many compliments on my new glasses. Went back in to pick out sunglasses and basically turned it over the staff, I couldnt handle the pressure! They made a fine choice, and I am also getting compliments on them. A friend was so impressed with both pair, that he decided to head in soon for a new glasses! Its nice to have a place where they know me, and my eyes!

Everyone here is super friendly and knowledgeable. The space is really cool too. This is where Ill be going from here on out.

Came here recently because Lens Crafters back in NY wasnt helping me much, and I swear Im only coming to Chroma from now on out! My gosh did they take great care of me!!I was completely out of contacts and was traveling the next day. Not only did they give me new top of the line contacts which only they had in the entire state of VT, they gave me enough trial pairs (free of charge!) to ensure that I would make it well through my trip and up till our follow up appointment the the next week.Dr. Sudarsky was so nice and friendly and considerate and the front desk people were too. Also, all of the tech they were using in the office was the newest and top of the line. I was very impressed, and I promise youll be very satisfied if you come here. Chroma is the best!
