I highly recommend Family Vision. The staff are all friendly and courteous. Everything is on time. Dr. McKinney is great. He is knowledgeable, communicates things clearly and is personable.

Great place for eye exams and to buy glasses. So many frames to choose from and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. So happy I found Family Vision in Burlington!!! Many problems. Incorrect prescriptions were the biggest issues, which required two sets of glasses to be redone. Lack of coordination among staff and poor communication with client caused delays. Glasses are actually made out of house, which increases turnaround times. I wont go back there.

Very helpful with letting me try contact lenses after a 24 year break from them. When one lens of my glasses didnt turn out quite right, they didnt hesitate to send them back to the lab and make sure my new glasses were perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. McKinney and all the staff at Family Vision!

They were very helpful my frame broke and they were able to put my lens in new frame right away.

Dr. Jon was great as usual. He took the time to explain changes in my eyes. Jon is also a relative, but that didnt sway my review. :)Sammy was fabulous with helping us pick out glasses (2 pairs each) and fitting them. She is a real asset (and not a relative. Jon is an huge asset too but you know that already.)

Whole experience was awesome. Called and happened to have an opening the next day. All staff were personable and helpful. Dr. Tim was professional and explained things well. The technician was helpful picking out glasses which were ready in a couple days and fit perfectly with correct prescription.

I had an awesome experience here and I VERY HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. The employees treated me with respect and were very friendly. I havent been to an eye doctor in probably around 5+ years but I knew my vision was worse because the glasses I was wearing did not help very much. The doctor I saw was extremely pleasant and, he answered all my questions, which were a lot. In my experience, with many doctors, they speak in medical jargon but, the doctor here spoke to me in laymans terms. When it came time to pick out my new frames, the lady that helped me was AWESOME. She even let me take pictures to send to my daughter to get her opinion. And, because I had to get bifocals, she told me which ones were good and which ones wouldnt work with bifocals (most places wouldnt tell you until it was too late and you were having difficulties seeing THEN they would tell you that you picked out the wrong frames and you would end up having to buy another frames. Other places wouldnt take responsibility.)On another note, my daughters eye doctor is in Racine, about an hour away, but when she was having issues with her frames, we came here, and they very happily helped us: they fixed my daughters frames and didnt charge me anything.

Couldnt be a more pleasant place to be for getting exams and service. People are very friendly, helpful, along with being professional. They all make you feel like family.:-)

Quick, efficient personnel at the front desk. Was not kept waiting beyond my appt time. The tech who did the pre-exam screening was well versed in the process and, again, all went quickly and smoothly. I had to only wait a couple of minutes for Dr. Hell, who was also great at the examination portion of the visit. Overall, very pleased as usual.

Weve been seeing Dr. McKinney for several years now. He and his staff are always so nice. The office is always very accommodating when trying to schedule appointments and they were very good about getting me in last minute for an emergency as well. I would highly recommend Family Vision!

I experienced some very worrisome symptoms in one eye very late on a Friday night and decided to call for an appointment the following morning. The very attentive staff immediately scheduled me to see Dr. Bowen. After thorough examinations, he determined I did not have a Retinal tear. I would highly recommend Dr. Bowen to anyone. He listened to all my concerns and evaluated my unusual symptoms.

Got me in last minute on a Saturday for a scratched cornea, excellent treatment from front desk to the Dr! Would absolutely recommend to anyone! Fabulous with kids as well!

I have never had any problems with fitting fees or billing like the prior review, in fact, they have been very accommodating in providing contacts for last minute situations that arise. The eye doctors are also very good, Dr. Mckinney continues to offer a variety of solutions for my particular eyesight. I highly Recommend this clinic!

Originally went to Fluegge Optical and had a terrible experience, so I canceled that order and went here. Top notch service from start to finish. Presented all available options for glasses/lens so I walked out knowing I got exactly what I wanted. They explored my insurance when I first walked in so I got the best bang for the buck. If you need glasses/lens/contacts, this is the place to go

I had a very pleasant experience. Dr. Tim got my prescription perfectly on his first time examing my eyes and even waited to see if I could see correctly through the sample contacts. Ive been battling with other eye care givers that my prescription has not been correct and they just fought with me saying Im wrong. The lady who helped me pick out my glasses was very helpful and very patient while I hmd and hawd for about an hour. Eventually she ended up picking out the glasses that I bought and I absolutely love them. My 24 month contact supply was in a day after I order them. My glasses was finished four days afterward. This place is highly efficient. Not mention the promos they have are very good deals.

My whole family has done business with this clinic my entire life. However, the service they provide is terrible. I will never go back. My mother developed stage 4 cancer. She wanted her prescription on her contacts renewed. She was able to go in for the eye exam. However a few weeks later she got to the point where she couldnt leave the house. The associates at family vision would not waive the contact fitting. Saying it is company policy. It may be, but Im convinced that it is company policy to receive the amount of money for the contact fitting. Which I am sure my mother would have gladly paid if they just let her have the contacts. Long story short they would not give her any contacts. Even after I spoke with the optometrist and he said sure just tell them i said it was alright. I went back in and I received the same run around. I think they could have made an exception for my dying mother.

They tricked me into a sale they were having. They told me what I wanted to hear and all the money I would save, but after looking at the bill and seeing all the extra costs that they didnt tell me about that is mandatory for the sale, I was pretty upset. I called them less than an hour after my appointment to change frames and they said I couldnt. Beware of any sale they are having.
