Dr. Etienne and his staff are so friendly, helpful, and informative. I followed Dr. Etienne here from a previous location and am so glad I did. I can’t say enough—Dr. Etienne and the MyEyeDr. team are incredible! My glasses are cute too. :)

Dr. Etienne does a great and thorough exam. He’s efficient, yet his friendly demeanour never waivers. I have found him to be exceptional when it comes to my eyes. He has been able to get my vision crisper and clearer than it has been in years. I also love that he has a knack for picking out frames that look amazing! I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing vision services.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Etienne’s for five years now. I love his new location. All of his staff are so friendly and helpful. One of my least favorite things is to have my eyes dialed. At Dr. Etienne’s new office they have a machine that can take pictures of your eye and avoid the dilation. This was perfect for me because I had to return to work after my appointment. I got a great deal on a years worth of contacts and a free pair of sunglasses! If you are looking for a new eye doctor this is the doctor for you. He takes the time to get to know you and your family. He helps you pick out your new glasses. You can tell he loves his career and has a real calling for what he does.

And not only that but this office space is the most comforting and warm doctors office you will ever find. For example, there’s a fireplace in the waiting room. And on top of all of this the staff is extremely helpful, caring, can help with just about any of your insurance questions and are excellent at helping pick out the perfect frame from their large selection. Plus they are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to different lenses and options and will help find the perfect lens and options for your lifestyle. Highly highly highly recommend this office.

I have known Dr. Etienne since he was in middle school and cannot say enough good things about him as a person, or as an optometrist. When we moved back to Bloomington and I learned my former optometrist had retired, I looked for his practice. First time going here and I will definitely be going back. The staff was so nice and welcoming. It was one of the most thorough exams and the doctor answered all my questions. The optical area had a lot of frames to choose from and they sit down and take their time with you to help you find the lenses that best suit you.

Went to get an eye exam and new glasses. Actual visit went smoothly and was fairly nice.2 weeks later I still dont have my glasses (not the cheapest). Havent been called to explain the reason for the delay. Have called twice & been told that I would be notified when glasses were ready.Unsure if this is an indication of lack of customer care or plain incompetence and indifference since they have their money.Not going to be a return customer nor recommend this businesses.

With the exception to the young lady who started my initial exam, everyone here was rude, condescending and apathetic. My appointment was scheduled for 8:30am and i wasnt seen until 9, and i was the only patient there. The elderly lady who was my optometrist made several passive-aggressive remarks unrelated to my eye care and made an obvious effort to make me feel uncomfortable (unbeknownst to her, Im fluent in sarcasm and laughed it off, as I have rather thick skin). The receptionist at the front desk acted as if i was bothering her, and tried her hardest to make my visit as uncomfortable as possible. I suspect this lack of curtious customer service had something to do with only choosing options covered by my H.I.P. I would have given them a negative star rating, but that wasnt an option.
