Dr. Tyler cares for his patients and is really passionate about helping, I would never go to anyone else. He is great with children too and does a really good job of explaining in terms they understand.

Says open till noon on saturday. Arrived at 1130 and they are closed. Tried calling them and their mailbox is full.

I have pink eye, none of the clinic were open except this one and first the person who picked up the phone was nice. He told me he cant see me since I dont have emergent situations. I asked him so what I need to do? He started to be angry and he hung up on me as he was saying, we are not going to even see you on Monday. Patient care is important no matter if it is urgent or not. People reach for help from Dr when they are in pain. So ... I believe he needs to adjust the attitude or leave the spot

Unimpressed with their customer care or ability to understand the position Im in. Refused to do a simple pupil distance check. Doctor was less than engaging though pleasant unlike the sales person working the front desk.Cant believe I had to ask for the bit of plastic to protect my eyes after the dilation test.Im actually struggling in trusting the accuracy of my results due to how I was treated because I wasnt buying glasses today

I worked at clinics before and can tell you, they did an awesome job and have genuine care for you!The Staff was very friendly and informational! Definitely helpful and showed genuine care.The doctor was very nice and helpful. He explained things VERY SIMPLE and backing up with evidence and support which is a very advanced speaking skill. All i ask for is a quick, easy and safe appointment, delivered it 10/10. My eye appointment with him was 5 min. and he did a lot within that time frame. Recommend!

Dr. Tyler was great with my children. He gave very thorough exams & even gave a couple of my girls pictures of their eyes to take to school since they were studying eyes at the time. He also immediately diagnosed & referred to vision therapy one child for an issue that had been affecting her schooling & much of life. Vision therapy helped immensely & we are so grateful that he knew just what to recommend. I am disappointed to say the least that a recent move makes changing clinics necessary. Dr. Tyler has set the bar high for whomever we end up going to. Many thanks to Dr. Tyler & his staff for great eye care.

I go for exams. I have to get my glasses through my employer. We always start time. The testing is always thorough and efficient. The small talk is engaging. I usually learn something on the visit. In and out. All in all a fine experience.

Bloomington Eye Center is such a great, friendly place to get your eyes checked. As a student going to school, its very comforting to have a doctor that works around your schedule and does what it takes to make sure you get the best care, contacts, glasses, etc. I recommend this place for all individuals, Dr. Tyler and staff are great people to be around.

Overall subpar experience and found them very difficult to work with. Won’t be using them in the future.During the exam they started doing contact fitting tests which are an extra fee without me asking for them. Prescriptions were very difficult to get filled and often required me calling them to remind them to approve the request 3-4 days after the pharmacy made the request and then without notice they stopped filling prescriptions and refused to do so until I came in and payed another office visit fee stating it’s office policy even though they gave no information on this policy.

Great experience, very informative, and extremely customer focused! I am glad I researched, read reviews and tried it out. Ill be a returning patient along with my children scheduling soon.

First went to Dr. Tyler about 2 years ago after moving to the area. We were impressed with his background (having recently finished his time at a south-side of Chicago hospital, and seeing many eye-related injuries). He is friendly and helpful, and listens to his patients to work together to find solutions that are a win for you.

Staff was very rude. Made me feel like I was dumb. Barely helped me when all I wanted was to pick out a pair of glasses. Will never go back.

Dr. Tyler is an excellent eye doctor. He is very helpful and up front about treatment. He is definitely looking out for the patients best interest. My wife and I have been seeing him for 2 years now. Highly recommended!

Dr. Tyler was fantastic very patient with me when I couldnt decide if I wanted daily contacts or monthly and we tried several different ones. The only reason I could give 5 stars is because of the cost of glasses and contacts through them were significantly higher then where I ended up getting them.

The initial exam went well and Dr. Tyler was very friendly. Although it did take a while to get my trial pair of contact lenses, they did get back to me that they are finally in.

Dr. could not have been more disgusted with me when I told him I would not be doing the dilation test. Well, that is until we started talking about getting glasses elsewhere. Then he did not give me pupil measurements as, we do those when you buy from us.And here I thought I was going to an eye doctor not an optics reseller; wont make that mistake with this office EVER again.

The customer service was horrible and I felt as though the appointment was hurried. I would not recommend this place to others.
