I am very happy with Dr. Goldwaser service and her team. Nurses Maria and Marielys were great! I had a wisdom tooth removed under full sedation and everything was perfect. They did a follow up and their services and the best! I highly recommend this dentist and I will definitely go back if I need to be taken care of well.

Be careful with these people! They will go through the whole appointment without telling you that your health plan doesnt cover and then ripped you off for an X-Ray and couple of words from the doctor. I felt robbed!!! When I made my appointment on the phone I made CLEAR that I needed to know if my plan would cover before going there. They never called me so I understood my plan would cover. Then they claimed they couldnt reach me on the phone. But they received my form from my email they could have contacted me there or even when I showed up to the office they could have tell me. Total ripped off. All they care about is the money. Their rates are outrageous!

My son had his wisdom teeth removed last week by Dr Batya Goldwaser. His surgery was quick and he’s healing really good. Dr. Goldwaser is great, very professional, knowledgeable and experienced. But this experience with Dr. Kevin Payton made me change my horror idea of dentists.I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted at the same time with anesthesia and gas. I was awake the whole time and I can tell you that 2 minutes later and with no pain at all, I was almost ready to go home.Following the surgery I don’t have pain at all. Thank you Dr. Kevin. Stay far away from this place. Unprofessional and rude. Without insurance before you enter to your visit one price when exiting its double. Stating they inform they lies in your face. When I schedule appointment they said it will be $60 because Community Health Center give me there info, when I came in they said $110 because I dont have xrays and when I was leaving $220. $220 for xray and doctor came for 2 min to tell what to do in a rush and then assistant was forcing fast signing a lot of concents for 30 min .From everyone in that office I dont feel comfortable come back ever.

The staff is amazing, I have to schedule another appointment for oral surgery and I’m so nervous because I have high blood pressure and I’ve been seeing a cardiologist, just nervous about what I’ve read online about heart palpitation and high blood pressure during dental work. I got my wisdom teeth (all 4) pulled out with Dr. Peyton, he is so gentle. One of my teeth was close to a nerve but they weren’t in bad positions. I had absolutely no pain, no swelling and was good to go within 3 days. I was off the pain meds by day 3. His staff was so incredible, caring and warm! We love them! Look no further.

Great doctor Luis E. Cardenas!!! It took him “completely-pain-free - 20 seconds” to remove my wisdom tooth. Absolutely no swelling and no pain recovery!)) I didn’t even have to take any pain medicine whatsoever, not one pill after the extraction!!! And the amount of anesthesia he injected was just right for the purpose - I came home after the extraction and was able to eat lunch actually feeling the taste of food and not feeling that my mouth is so numb that I it feels like the food is falling out of my mouth.... When I found out my sons wisdom teeth had grown in horizontally I knew he would need extractions. So, I began my research. It took me more than 3 months to find a doctor that I felt safe with. I finally narrowed it down to two doctors, and Dr. Payton was one of the two. What made me side with Dr. Payton was his experience, and the care every single review I read said he gave them. I am more than pleased with how everything went. Dr. Payton is so nice, informal, and friendly. His staff in the back are the best. Theyre swift, they break EVERYTHING down, and they communicate very well. Im never going anywhere else, nor am I referring anyone elsewhere. This is the place to go! My son and I both agree... After being an employee at Oral Facial Reconstruction Implant Center for nine years, I recently became a patient. I needed of an extraction as soon as possible. My tooth had been broken for awhile and I kept postponing the removal of the tooth. Simply put, I was afraid of the pain I might experience.After speaking with Dr. Lopez I went to the Aventura office, where I was greeted by the smiling faces of Jessica, Maria, Phillip, Marielys, Jasmine and Dr. Lopez. They are my co- workers and friends, however, today I experienced them as the professionals they are!Dr. Lopez and Phillip put me at ease within seconds making sure I was relaxed and comfortable with their warm personalities mixed in with some comic relief. When Dr. Lopez began the novocaine injections, I braced myself, I kept waiting and thinking, its not hurting, it never did. All that worry for nothing.Dr. Lopez advised me of his recommendations for future treatment. After hearing all my life that I had enough space for my wisdom teeth to naturally grow, imagine my surprise when at age 32, I was told I had to remove all 4 due to incessant pain. My nerves however, were quickly alleviated when I met Dr. Kurt Friedman and his great staff here. From the first appointment to post surgery was a very smooth 3 week period, where customer service and flexibility is paramount. there was zero pain, zero complications and zero unfair prices. Dr. Cardenas was fantastic! He was very kind and understanding and my wisdom teeth extraction went relatively quickly. The procedure was painless and though there was some pain during the recovery process (which is to be expected), it was pretty quick. I was eating regular food by the end of the week!

I had a wonderful experience at Oral Facial Reconstruction & Implant Center. I had 4 of my wisdom teeth removed last week, and within 5 days I was already back to eating rice and all that good foods. Doctor Payton did an excellent job with the surgery, and Philip, a nurse practitioner, was very helpful and courteous. He wheeled me to the car safely, reminded me to take my medication and remembered me when I came back for a post-surgery consultation. I think the trick to get a good result is to actually follow all pre-post surgery instruction, make green smoothies when you can’t eat, be dilligent on taking the prescribed medication and only rinse with salt water as needed. Overall, my experience here has been amazing, and would definitely recommend this clinic to others !

I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out, although it was sore at first they helped me calm it down and check up on me. The staff is amazing including the assistant Philip and Dr. Jose G. Ravelo.

I was in pain before the surgery, never been in a hospital much less had surgery which worried me and prompted me to call their afterhours, I got Dr. Cardenas, he was very uncaring and even rude, its the only reason Im not putting 5 stars, other than that staff is amazing. Thankful for Evey for being so patient and compassionate and Dr. Freidman and the nurses doing an emergency extraction for my 4 wisdom teeth I NEVER felt pain after the surgery.

They said they accept molina insurance then they called me to inform me I should pay them 800 upfront to have the procedure done because supposedly my insurance doesn’t want to give them authorization. Guess what i called my insurance and they never received anything from them, I called them to let them know and they told me “oh ummm ... now we don’t accept molina” but they do! Very strange! I will have to look for another more honest doctor! What a waste of time!

2 weeks ago I got my wisdom teeth out and my normal dentist told me to go to oral facial to talk about my options for the surgery. At first I was a bit nervous until Dr. Jose G. Ravelo calm me down by cracking a few jokes which led me to relax and trust this person to do my surgery. The surgery was just an hour but I was asleep for most of it I was only in pain for 3 days and after I didnt feel any pain. Before this surgery I was terrified of the dentist but thanks to the help of Dr. Jose G. Ravelo and the kindness he has shown me I started to go to the dentist more relaxed than ever before.

I had all four wisdom teeth extracted on February 15. I can’t believe I have no swelling or pain. That was my first time needless to say I was scared Super scared after reading multiple reviews. When I met Dr. Jose G. Ravelo he explained the process, pros,cons to me and what to expect. I can’t thank Dr. Jose G. Ravelo and his staff for services I received at the Aventura office. I was very fortunate to meet Dr. Ravelo recently under some very unfortunate circumstances. After having been misdiagnosed by a local emergency room twice, I ended up at the ER at Memorial West in a lot of pain and with a neck that was visibly swelling by the minute. While the entire staff couldn’t have been more professional and compassionate, it wasn’t until Dr. Ravelo showed up to examine me that I knew I was going to be okay.First and foremost, he immediately calmed me down, thoroughly explained his diagnosis and told me that I was going to have to be taken to the operating room for emergency surgery. Not only did he make me feel at ease and confident in his surgical abilities, he even managed to make me laugh, which I know could not have been an easy task under the circumstances.He was equally calming and informative after my surgery and remained with me throughout most of my recovery period. When is the last time you heard of a doctor who did that? And he even gave my husband his personal cell phone number to call if we needed anything! I have honestly never met a health care professional who was so overtly and so sincerely patient-centric.Needless to say, my operation was highly successful and as I told Dr. Ravelo at my post-op appointment, I am so glad he was the one who was sent to help me through this very difficult and, quite honestly, terrifying period of time in my life.The bottom line is this: after two long years of misdiagnoses by other doctors and undergoing treatments that actually made my condition even worse, Dr. Ravelo gave me my life back in a matter of days. I realize there are plenty of other oral surgeons in the area to choose from and while our doctor-patient relationship started by fate and not by choice, choosing to work with Dr. Ravelo will be one of the best decisions you have ever made. I trusted him that night with my life and I couldn’t be more grateful for the honor of having been able to do so.
