Worst service I have experienced starting with the receptionist. I asked to speak to the office manager and I couldn’t V talked to anyone else. It is unfortunate to have someone at the front of your business with poor customer service skills

Calling them at least 6 times to make an appointment and when they do pick up they hang up on you this isn’t they first time Emily is one of them. I know why I been there before and I would see them send calls to voicemail so that they can continue to gossip.

They are just rude. Starting with the receptionist all the way to the doctor. I should have brought an authorization with me, but I wasnt aware of that. I understand that there are protocols, but instead of saying it in a polite manner, they were basically shaming me for not knowing that I needed it. On top of that there was an old lady, who I assume was a hygienist, providing me unsolicited health advise and shaming me for seeking dental care during pregnancy. I ended up cancelling the appointment. It was just an awful experience.

Today I had one of my worst experiences with this dental office. The front desk girl calling herself Mislaidy, was unbelievably rude and unprofessional, to the point that I will not be coming back. It started off by me asking a question regarding fluoride treatments and ended up with the employee telling me that I essentially would not be covered for my visit for a Periodontal Maintenance cleaning. Clearly I had previously called my insurance who advised that I would be covered for 80% of the cost for the cleaning. At his point this employee proceeded to argue the point and had “zero” Customer Service skills so I wasn’t going to continue so I just walked out and won’t be back...DC@A you will continue to loose patients with that kind of behavior from your employees.

Dr selman did a great job the best endodontist I have ever been to to do a root canal . His work is pain free I highly recommend anyone that needs a root canal to use Dr selman at dental center in aventura

I POSTPONED THIS VISIT FOR MY DAUGHTER SO MANY TIMES SINCE I AM FROM NEW YORK AND AM NOT TOO KNOWLEDGEABLE REGARDING FLORIDA AND HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS BUT THIS WAS BY FAR MY FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT. GREAT SERVICE FROM POINT OF CONTACT (PHONE) TO IN PERSON VISIT. WAIT TIME WAS REASONABLE (IMAGINE 2 - 4 HOUR WAIT FOR A 10 MINUTE VISIT IN NYC). WAIT TIME WAS QUICK, SURGEON EXPLAINED EVERYTHING WELL (this was my first visit). SECOND VISIT WAS FOR ORAL SURGERY AND I COULDN’T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH THE SERVICE I DID NOT GET THE NURSES NAME BUT SHE WAS SUPPORTIVE WITH MY EMOTIONAL DAUGHTER AND SUPER NICE. THE SURGEON WAS 100% AMAZING EVEN ALLOWED MY SISTER TO ASK QUESTIONS I DIDNT THINK OF :)

I had a great experience, the wait was not long, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My higenist and dental assistant and my dentist were pretty fantastic. The part I was most impressed with was the lady that goes over your plan of care, schedulaing and payment, i love that because i understood evrything tat was recomended. Prices were fair. I have recmmended them to all myfamily and friends already.

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. The lady who did my x-rays kept scraping the roof and bottom of my mouth, no care what so ever. In addition, the dentist called my gums ugly, which I found very unprofessional, when she could have said you want them to look healthier.And lastly my appointment was for a cleaning and when I got there all they did was x-rays. And when I tried to make another appointment for a cleaning they said it wasn’t covered by insurance, and I booked another appointment somewhere else where it is accepted.

Very clean office and friendly staff.i dont speak Spanish so I found it a bit annoying when they were in my room discussing my case and I didnt understand.they changed to English when asked.i am waiting for Insurance approval 1st but I have confidence all my needs will be met with a giant SMILE..I cant wait to get started..

The office is clean and operates efficiently. My first impression was delighted by how kind everyone was, especially the hygienists. The dentist had clear knowledge of her work and made sure I understood the information she was sharing with me and my options for treatment. Rosa, the financial advisor was awesome; sought out answers from my insurance company and helped guide me through my options. Best experience Ive had at the dentist.

I tracked Dr. Selman here from a previous office. As usual he never disappoints..no pain,pleasant,no blame understands and soft spoken.I also met Dr Martinez there who worked on my crowns. He has good bedside manners,warm shows respect for his patient and he is skilled. His assistant is very good as well, detailed. Unlike other experiences I have had with a previous dentist assistant not skilled and interns for practise there from their school.Maria at the front desk is friendly and customer oriented and Amanda the financial person is upbeat.I train for corporations and Quality Assurance is at the forefront.Everyone I saw were approachable so the customer experience was great.

STAY AWAY. First time I go there I am in the chair and Im told its $900. for a teeth cleaning. I said no. Few minutes go by and the same lady comes back but now she says its $395. I say no guess what she comes back and says $195. I say no. I have Solstice insurance and I get 2 free cleaning per year. I go every 6 months and my teeth are fine. This office is a scam. Only out to make a profit and give unnecessary work to make more money. STAY AWAY

I am a very nervous patient. My first visit was after many years of not going to the dentist at all due to a bad childhood experience and the entire team were so understanding. Rosa, the office manager, is always ready to explain in detail any questions I might have regarding my payment plan. I have been coming here for years now and know I am in good hands. I wont go anywhere else.

The scheduling gave me a scare of what to expect of the service but I am looking forward to building a great relationship with this team. Dr. Godoy and her team were gentle and very thorough. Explained everything to me step by step. Rosa, the financial manager was Awesome and gave assurance with how I can afford my procedures. The office is clean and modern. And......I didnt have to wait long. 5 🌟 all the way!

Highly qualify staff, amazing doctors from general dentist to all specialty... you don’t have to worry about getting referral for a root canal out gretting approval from your insurance they do it all.... definitely recommended

And again very professional!Dr. Martinez was a complete pleasure! To finally know what’s going on with my teeth he took the time to explain everything that was going on and what I will need to get done . Plus very professional!And last but not least! The Hygienist Geanys was excellent she explained in detail what she was going to do ! And it was flawless no pain and she even convinced me how I need a water pick! In order to become a new patient, they require you to see the periodontist, along with the $60 charge to do so. In my case, the periodontist told me things I already know and have known for a long time, that I need a scaling/deep cleaning. Unfortunately, these cleanings cost upwards of $800, but are highly profitable for the practice. After my exam, the hygienest cleaned my teeth. All good. Six months later, I call back to make an appointment for another cleaning. The answer was, no we cant clean your teeth unless you do the scaling. What? Where was that disclosed? Not going to accept me as a patient unless I do the scaling? Really? Why? Liability was the answer. Really? Neither the office, the DDS, the paperwork disclosed this. Never heard of this in all my years. Something not passing the sniff test here. Will be discussing with attorney.

Very disappointed!! They make you wait 45 min to an hour!! So whats the point of making appointment if you make me wait that long! Also make sure you double check their prices!! They try to charge me several times for more money then what Im actually supposed to pay!! Everytime they tried to charge me I called my insurance to confirm prices and found out that they try to over charge me!! Be aware!! Watch, ask, and check before you pay them anything!!!

Ive been a client at this office for over 6 years now since I was pregnant with my last son! The staff is very professional and efficient and I love, love, love my hygienist, Lucy K. It always feels like Im visiting family when I go in for my check up! :)

I had crowns done in another office and it was a catastrophy.Dr Godoy redid all with such a professionalism and gave me back my smile and my confidence , you cannot even see that I have crowns!Her assistant is also very professional and friendly.I had a wisdom tooth extracted by the surgeon, did not feel a thingThe team will always explain to you the price and Rosa will go overboard to help you.Professionalism, confidence, trust and friendly atmosphere, it is what you need to go to the dentist, and you will find it in this office.

Im a very apprehensive patient and the staff was very patient with me. Dr.Godoy did my exam and I ended up needing a deep cleaning. (Geannys) The hygienist explained why I needed a deep cleaning and she also probe me and gave me more understanding. Also, the front desk was amazing and they where able to work around my schedule for my next apt. Over all an amazing experience and I think a found a dental office for the first time that made me feel comfortable and not so nervous . Looking forward to my next apt

I have been going here for years. Unfortunately most of the original staff have left, but the service and attention to the patients remain the same. Patients are treated with respect and advised of everything going on. I hate going to the dentist, but like seeing everyone here.

THE BILLING LADY IS THE RUDEST PERSON WE HAVE EVER MET. They refused to give us just a normal regular cleaning until we payed thousands of dollars for an intermidiate cleaning. Why arent we allowed to just get checked up and get a normal cleaning? I have never experienced this anywhere else. Do not go there, even if you have the best insurance which was our case, they will rip you off and the billing lady will just kick you out instead of trying to work with you!

In my previous dental office ,getting any type of treatment was always a torture for me. I have always had a phobia of dentists. My first appointment at this office was amazing, from the front desk to dentists , hygienists (geanys)and assistants everyone was great and super patient with me! Im keeping them for life! I am reccomending to everyone !!!

I heard of Dental center of Aventura through a close friend and going was the best decision i couldve ever made !! Everyone in the front from Amanda who was so helpful explaining all my insurance benefits and payments to karen and eliany at check in making sure my appointment was running good on time it was all just awesome. Dr oppenheimer extracted all four of my wisdom teeth, and i was so traumatized at first but it couldnt have gone any better. The manager Marianella was so sweet and helpful, i truly cannot reccomend anywhere else BUT dental center of aventura. If you are looking for amazing doctors, amazing staff and a welcoming environment go to dental center of aventura !!!!!!!

This place likes to eat your money do not recommend, if you miss an appt they will charge you $120...I understand maybe no more than 50 bucks but $120 to pay before you get or FINISH treatment is pushing it...the specialist doesnt make you feel comfortable he talks way too much with the workers instead of just doing the job, the hygenist was not consistently taking saliva because she is distracted with the conversation, all in all this place is a horrible experience I was just scared in my seat...less than professional environment

I have been going here for years and I have always felt very comfortable at this dentist office. Dr. Godoy and Leslie (dental hygienist) are the best! They are very friendly and throughly explain any questions I have about a procedure I might need. I used to be scared going to the dentist, but, coming here I feel like Im surrounded by friends. And I truly feel like Dr. Godoy and Leslie always want to do the best for the health of my whole mouth.

Dr. Yami Godoy was very attentive and knowledgeable. She fixed my cavity quickly and painlessly, informed me of how to care for my new dental work and how to avoid more cavities in the future. She even had a tv screen in the room where she was able to show me what was going on in my mouth.

Just left the office and more than happy to write this review. This is the 2nd time my daughter has to have work done. Exceptional work (as stated per daughters orthodontist) was done on her the 1st time, 2 yrs ago. This time around all wisdom teeth need to be removed. From the moment that I called this office 3 weeks ago to schedule appt, up until leaving the office, I have been more than pleased. Receptionist Karen Herrero, went ABOVE AND BEYOND to not only help but also advocate for us. I really hope office Manager gets to read this so that Karen can be praised. Everyone, including receptionist, dental assitant and Dr. were nothing but polite, professinal and friendly. I look forward to having my daughters procedure done here and also bringing the rest of the family for their dental needs. If you are looking for a dentist office, look no further.

I have been a patient for as long as I can remember! The staff is absolutely amazing! Im practically a regular and the entire staff makes me feel safe and secure, awesome bedside manners! Ive always had a fear of dentists , since my early childhood ! I get very nervous and recognize that I can get hard to work with . With that being said dr Llapur and dr selman and their assistants were the best! Extremely patient and kind with me ! As always the front desk treats me like family !

Absurd! According to Rosa Borges I was NOT allowed to get regular teeth cleaning for whatever reason. I have cigna dental care and regular cleaning was supposed to be $25. She walks in with a $1000 quote and forces me to get advanced cleaning. I told her, I only needed a regular teeth cleaning and she refused to provide me one. Her words were: you need intermidiate cleaning, we cant give you the regular cleaning until you pay for the intermidiate cleaning. So from now, you are obligated to pay thousands of dollars before you can get a normal check up and regular teeth cleaning!!!

Worst place ever would not send no one to this place went there twice this week for nothing and to come and find out the whole mix up was for the simple fact that when they made the appointment to see the specialist we needed a referral and that i did not have to worry about it that it was going to be faxed to them.in the mean time my daughter is going on with this pain in her month for 4 months now......

They will work hard to upsell you. do not suggest

Worst Experience EVER!1) Immediately had a HIPAA violation. My patient history was handed to another patient and I was handed hers. The front desk worker was non-apologetic and refused to destroy the old forms and give us new ones. I was also required to sign approval of a policy notice and instructions which were not provided and could not be produced in full upon my request.2) Dentist told me I had bone loss before he even looked at my x-rays. If its true, hes a magician - best case I need to pay out of pocket for a second opinion because he rushed through my exam so quickly.3) Dentist told me I needed 2 fillings - the lady who comes out to get you to pay before you play showed me that they wanted to charge me to do 6. Why do I need 6 if the doctor said 2. Their explanation was that he said a couple, not 2. In english, 2 and couple are synonyms. For the record, he said 2, not couple. In either case I was misled and when I asked for clarification the doctor was unavailable.4) Our appointment was for a cleaning and then a checkup. There was no hygenist available whatsoever and they refused to give us normal cleanings. They wanted to add on extra products etc, but there wasnt even a hygenist there for our appointment times.5) I was told to come in an hour earlier than my appointment because they had an opening. I left work early to get there 45 minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment and still didnt get seen until 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment.To summarize: we didnt get cleanings - our exams were too brief to be accurate (my total exam lasted about 45 seconds, not including the x-rays). Our time was wasted, and they tried to scam us out of thousands of dollars when all we really needed today was a routine cleaning and checkup.STAY AWAY!!! This is not a professional medical practice - there are 2-3 managers/administrators for every person wearing scrubs - thats where your wasted money is going. This practice is a money mill for whoever owns it - not legitimate dental care.
