Dr. Parikh is a great specialist and a likable person. Plus he remembered me after 3-month break. That’s remarkable given how many patients he’s got!Highly recommend if you need ENT help!

Incredible attention to detail along with amazing patient interaction --- thorough balanced with personalization, humor and empathy. Thanks so much. And really appreciated the direct entry on her computer of the prescription in the office to my pharmacy -- great peace of mind versus previous experiences Ive had in this office when the nurses failed to submit the prescriptions even after multiple requests and phone calls. Thank you for that ....provided incredible service !!!

This is a place that should not be allowed to operate I would not trust them with a rabid dog. They failed to fix my deviated septum after two attempts and the doctor involved told me he was the best. You can not make this up.Then two years after their complete failure and never having updated my bill they turned me over to a collection agency. Cant pay a bill you do not receive. Nor can your insurer. Oh yes thay also were found guilty of major fraud by the government. No surprise to me.Oh and the bill they took me to a collection agency was a balance bill . they set up an independent contractor to try and get this paid. Not happening. No moral compass, no character, no ethics and no competency. Any questions?

It’s very telling that multiple reviews have the same reaction to how terrible their office visit was. I’ve never written a review on any platform, yet I was compelled to write this one. My time at this establishment was a terrible experience. When cleaning my ear, the doctor I saw didnt warn me that she was going to shove a metal prong in my ear, repeatedly, without talking me through it. It hurt so bad, I had a headache the rest of the day. I understand how invasive an ear cleaning is, however, the communication and care was lacking big time throughout the whole process, and left me feeling uncared for. Now, the next day I still feel pressure, and clogging in my ears. When I called the supervisor to let them know, she brushed over the problem, and seemed unremorseful, and said I need to come back for a hearing test. I was offered one at my visit, as the doctor was half way walking out the door, and ultimately decided not to since I am on my parents insurance, and would rather not have them charged any extra costs. But somehow, this was the only fix I was offered from the terrible visit. Ultimately, bedside manners are terrible, the staff is lackadaisical to the point of making one feeling neglected, and just another case to get in-and-out. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.

Highly recommend you find another ENT.My doctor was an incredibly poor communicator. He was dismissive and acted upset that I asked questions about my procedure. The business office is a disaster. They mishandled my credit card information, inaccurately billed me and were impossible to get a hold of when trying to resolve issues.Worst of all, they knew my covid test was delayed and still instructed me to buy prescriptions, take PTO and organize transport for an elective surgery that they cancelled 15 hours before scheduled due to a delayed result. The owners may write some response explaining themselves. My warning to other patients is that it’s easier to write a response to a bad review than to actually operate a business. They can’t operate a business.*update* The management responded to my negative review stating they’d be in touch within 48 hours. I’ve not received a phone call or email. It’s been nearly a week. Completely disorganized. No process.

I had been waiting 3 years hoping that RFA for thyroid nodules would come to the USA. My local ENT wanted me to have the surgical removal of my last thyroid gland. I live in N.E. Florida but RFA was not an available option. I decided to search in Atlanta and found that Northwest ENT actually did have the machine and would perform the procedure. Atlanta is 350 miles away so instead of a preliminary visit, I sent my medical records and had a phone call with Dr. Parikh who after evaluating my records suggested RFA would be an appropriate procedure for my condition. We made an appointment and one month later I drove to Atlanta on a Tuesday afternoon to undergo the procedure Wednesday morning.Dr. Parikh and his staff were friendly, supportive and professional. The overall procedure involves a needle/probe into the neck that will basically burn off the nodule[s]. I had two sizable nodules, one was about 4 centimeters and the second one 6 centimeters. The staff and Dr. Parikh did a terrific job making sure I never experienced any pain other than the mild stick of the initial needle to deaden the areas. In my case, due to scar tissues, Dr. Parikh was able to reduce the larger nodule by only 60 percent but was able to fully reduce the smallest nodule. Against medical advice, my friend drove me home that afternoon instead of waiting a day but there were no complications and there was never any serious pain issues or other issues to be concerned about. I do intend to have a follow up appointment in 6 months where Dr. Parikh will evaluate the results and let me know if further work should be considered.Good news; I had an hour long procedure under local anesthetic removing most/all of two significant non malignant tumors and get to keep my remaining thyroid gland instead of a two or three hour surgery under general anesthesia which can be dangerous at my age [ 71] and would make me dependent upon taking medications for the rest of my life. Hooray for Dr. Parikh and Northwest ENT.

This is a terrible place and I highly recommend going elsewhere - as I now must do because I received such poor care here. First, highly questionable efforts to perform and bill for unnecessary procedures. When I questioned the necessity of a hearing test when Im there for ear and throat pain with no diminished hearing and in what way this could help diagnosis my condition, they had no answer and instead sent me to the doctor to pressure me again into having it - also for zero explained reason it was medically needed. Second, I had to wait an hour for my appointment because they had massively over scheduled, this is unprofessional. Third, because they were so overbooked, the nurse decided to get a jump on things and did another unnecessary and invasive procedure without doctor consent and which was wholly unneeded because the doctor never even looked in my nose in any way, as well as being unusual for such visits for ears without sinus symptoms. Fourth, the nurse asked if Id ever had my condition before, I said potentially so a few years ago - somehow this was never conveyed to the doctor. Fifth, when doc came in she was so busy trying to push through the exam she never listened to my symptoms fully or that it was similar to before, only enough to jump to the conclusion this was a stress condition. Again, Ive potentially had something like this before and it needed an ENT procedure to heal - thats not stress. She was physically rough when handling my head and when I told her she was moving too quick for me to answer if something hurt when she asked, she started over and on the first spot I said there was minimal pain she stopped and said that was the problem, couldnt be anything else. I pressed and asked it could cause my list of connected symptoms and her standard response was stress or ignoring the question. At two points while typing rapidly so she could leave she remarked it could be something other than stress and a medical situation needing care but then refused to discuss or investigate those options. I pretty much never write reviews and am here now because this place and Dr. Ingley should be avoided - especially if you have large copays or no insurance because they will hard press you to do medically unnecessary and invasive procedures that have no bearing on your visit and then do a poor job as a medical team. As said at the start, Im now left with going to yet another doctor to try and have this condition addressed by someone who isnt going to dismiss symptoms as stress without even the standard evaluation Ive had for similar symptoms before. Final thought: even if it was stress...how does performing a hearing exam possibly diagnose stress causing ear and throat pain? It doesnt. Again totally an unnecessary procedure and I shouldnt be pressured by two different people in positions of authority to have it.

My first-ever review... Came here having relocated to Atlanta and desperately in need of an allergist. The allergist came in, stuck a scope in my nose and said, Yeah, you really need an allergy test and treatment. Ive had allergies all my life, I didnt need this useless info but I understood it was a formality. Now theyve called me to say I owe $1500 for the procedure, aka the five minutes he took to look up my nose. The billing/front desk personnel were incredibly rude, condescending and not helpful. Avoid this place–theres no commitment to making patients feel empowered, informed or safe. Its a moneygrab.

The front office staff was friendly diligent and fast. However the Asian dr I saw was a bit rude. He walked in didn’t introduce himself walked behind me and spun my chair around to face him. I was pretty upset by that. He also did a very vague examination on my daughter who he prescribed antibiotics for my 10 mths old and she’s still experiencing interrupted breathing in her sleep. I would see another dr at that facility. He need to learn bedside manners.

I feel compelled to write my first Google review ever because of my awful experience at Northwest ENT. I went for one appointment at Northwest ENT and will not be returning. This practice is not respectful of their patient’s time or money.First item, this practice does not respect the time of their patients. I arrived 15 minutes ahead of my appointment time but still waited over an hour to see the Dr. Ingley. I was the physicians first appointment of the morning! How is an ENT physician an hour late for their first appointment in the morning? No apologies were given.Second item, I scheduled the appointment for routine sinus issues. Although homeopathic remedies were recommended for my sinus issues (so nothing major) the physician still recommended the an Endo Nasal was preformed. Having never been to an ENT before I thought this was a routine part of the visit; similar to having your blood pressure taken. It was not explained to me that this would be extremely expensive. It took 20 seconds to look into my sinus cavity from the patient room and I received an okay looks good. Then I get hit with a bill for $500 even after processed through my insurance. (To put this into perspective, I paid $500 to have a child with this same insurance.) I called to talk to the billing manager of Northwest ENT and all they would offer me is 25% off the remainder of the bill (after already receiving hundreds from my insurance company). After doing my research the bill is 224% higher than if I had just paid for this procedure out of pocket. This practice is not respectful of their patient’s time or money. To be completely honest, I feel like Northwest ENT took advantage of me; it feels unethical to preform something of this nature without making the patient aware of the expense involved. I would never recommend Northwest ENT, there are plenty of physicians in Atlanta who actually care for their patents.UPDATE 11/25/2019 - I did exactly as instructed below and reached out to Northwest ENT two hours after their reply to my review. I have tried following up with them numerous times over the course of these past six weeks and still have not heard from anyone....

I dont know about other doctors here but I was helped by Dr. Shatul and I am writing this review based on my experience with him. I have consulted with a few other doctors with other big clinics and big hospitals for allergies but I have to say that he is one of the best I have met. He diagnosed my problem quickly and gave me the medication and suggested the right surgery. Other hospitals were suggesting me to an expensive remedy but Dr. Shatul recommended me the right one. I had my surgery last October (2015) and been good since then. I do not write reviews normally but thought someone else may get benefit out of my review if you are looking for allergy remedies and nasal surgery for deviated septum.
