This review is on the DOUGLASVILLE office and team. My TRUE rating is 4.5. From the woman at the check-in desk to Lacie, Karen and Dr. Erinn Gardner, I was treated with kindness, care, respect and empathy. Dr. Gardner listened to my history, asked pertinent questions, and thoroughly explained things in a way that made sense and connected dots. Her personality is professional and personable; she is a great communicator. There was no time I felt rushed by her.While in the office, I had a potentially serious issue after testing and was attended to with the proper care and instructions for follow-up. They made sure I was safe and felt well before leaving. Im glad I followed my instinct and chose this office and Dr. Gardner. SN: If youre cold while waiting, Karen has blankets and I was appreciative!My only real complaint is that although I completed the new patient packet via their portal, I still had a lot of paperwork to complete when I got there. All of it should be online to save time not just for the patient, but for the office staff who do check-in as well.

My husband usually takes our 3 year old daughter in to see Dr. Lenchner… this last appointment I was able to meet the Dr for the first time. He is very knowledgeable in my opinion. I was comfortable with the screenings and diagnosis he provided for our daughter. Customer service and the atmosphere was pleasant. I definitely will allow our daughter to continue her treatment with Dr. Lenchner.

My experience at this office has always been lackluster... from painful ways they administer shots (not all nurses are the same), to just their inability to return calls and just the culture of this entire office being non customer focused. Dont move out of state because YOU WILL NEVER GET HELP transferring your records. Ive called over and over again. Ive been promised to receive a call back 2 times. No call. Their phone system doesnt work so you are at the mercy of leaving messages that they dont check. I cant get anyone to even just fax records to the office in Dallas, TX. Even the nurse at the Dallas office said they have tried to work with this office with other patients and they get the same thing... crickets. My child is in desperate need of his allergy shots and no one at this office cares. Its fundamentally unacceptable as a medical provider that they will not help my child who is suffering. I just got hung up on just now in my 5th attempt to get help.

My experience with Atlanta Allergy and Asthma hasnt been great. My pediatrician referred us. Its been a month and we still dont know what wrong with my son. This is largely because the staff doesnt seem to have a clue. I The most recent instance is I scheduled an appoint to the lab to be reviewed with us. I requested a virtual appointment. Set up appointment and email confirmation has me in person and at the furthest location from my home. Its been this way each time Ive dealt with the staff. The staff is super friendly, but not actually helpful at all.

The wait to see Dr. Lenchner has been much too long! The first time I visited his office, I waited one hour! The second time was better, only 1/2 hour.I cannot say anything about his capabilities yet, for, although he asked me to visit a Quest Lab for a blood test, I have had two other health issues with which to deal, so I am behind. But because he was recommended by my dermatologist, Im certain hell solve my physical health problem.

Got in right away. Good explanation of test results. Thoughtful response to my questions.

This is the first time I have been to Atlanta Allergy & Asthma. What an impressive practice. Upon walking into the office I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member. She processed my paperwork in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. I did not have to wait long for my appointment. The physician was FANTASTIC, Dr. Lenchner was very patient, thorough and focused. I appreciated his willingness and time to answer all of my questions. I did not feel rushed at all. to I only wish I found this practice and physician earlier because on day 3 of treatment I feel like a new person. I rate Dr. Lenchner as EXCELLENT 10+++

Judy at the front desk was one of the coldest and rudest people I’ve spoken to at a doctors office. Also they require the first appt to be a consult instead of doing any work or testing. Paperwork is a nightmare

Dr. Lenchner & all the nurses & staff at this practice are wonderful. I have been coming here several times a week for shots, and they have really taken the time to get to know me as a person AND a patient. When I first came, they were very communicative about some construction adjusting their parking in the short term. I feel really grateful to have AA&A in my arsenal against Atlanta pollen! 🦠🦠🦠Lastly, I am really going to miss Pat, as she retires at the end of the year!

New patient, disappointing front desk experience. Felicia at the front desk was condescending with her tone about insurance costs. Would not share her name at first. Also would not transfer to officer manager or someone else to talk with.The front desk (Felicia) could not get the correct billing cost estimate for my visit. They insisted that I had to pay a deductible when my insurance and another Allergy specialist offices confirmed I’ve already met my deductible.Horrible first impression. I’ve cancelled my appointment and will find another Allergy clinic to visit.I hope the Dr Tanner and the office managers take notice.

This is Roger’s wife, Larissa Pearce. I am extremely disappointed in your office. I tried to get an appointment online 2 weeks ago. After not hearing from the office, I called last week to request a prescription refill and an appointment and was told the “system was down.” A third attempt was made 3 days ago to get a refill, but my pharmacy hadnt received the refill. Today, I called, spoke to an actual person and told them I was down to my last day of my maintenance inhaler, and was given the nurse VM to make my request. 3 hours later, my pharmacy still hasn’t received the refill, and, surprise, now the office is closed. Thanks, Atlanta Allergy, for your subpar customer/patient service.

My follow up was an absolutely perfect experience. I was early but was checked right in. I was called immediately back. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I love my Doc, Dr. Lenchner! He is personable and smart as a whip. Most of all he listened to and heard me, which I can not say about many places, and I am a physician.... Other than the temporary parking situation, this is the place to go. I pass closer locations to go here..

Everything from checkin to the visit with the Dr. went smoothly and efficiently. The conversation with the doctor was satisfying as my search for a local allergy specialist may have come to an end. Clean and organized offices.

I recently relocated from a Ohio & this clinic came highly recommended! Dr. Lenchner & the staff are awesome: I had a Tele visit with Dr. Lenchner ( first time doing that) & he was very personable & attentive. I didn’t feel rushed & all my questions were answered. The office staff were wonderful helping me with my insurance & getting my prescriptions filled- again they were all attentive & very helpful. I’m so glad I found this clinic

Complimentary valet parking was provided since their parking area was under construction. Very classy. Office environment was pleasing which includes the staff. They were very warm and inviting. Everything was efficient and smooth and I didnt feel rushed.

Just make sure, you know what your office visit fee is before getting seen, I was told afterwards & found out it was $1,000 out of pocket that I had to pay.i would never have gone if I knew up front.

Very efficient and helpful

I expected this visit to be a short overview leading to an endless schedule of appointments. The were time efficient, but the visit was thorough and we had a good plan of action when I left for my next steps in allergy management.

I rarely post on review sites, simply because most bad experiences are understandable. However, on 1/24/20 at 10:43 am, I called to inquire information about injections and other alternate treatments to the Buckhead office. The female person answering the phone at the Buckhead office was extremely impatient, short, curt, and rude in her answers. Ill be looking for a difference office that is more friendly and welcoming.

Very friendly staff and experts in the areas of Asthma and allergies. I have been a patient here for years and have seen a massive symptom improvement since starting my allergy injections here.

I just love my Allergy Dr. Dr. Tanner is a very caring hearted doctor he makes sure all your questions are answered to the best for your care and he is one of the Best Allergy Doctors in Buckhead. Staff is extremely hard to get in contact with and never returns phone messages. I felt like they were never trying to help me over the phone and was always frustrated.

Ive been going here for a few years and all the staff, doctors and nurses are always courteous and pleasant for all my visits.

The Buckhead office is great. I am a big fan of Dr. Tanner....and his bowtie! Dr. Tanner is well-versed in all things ALLERGY. Sometimes I have to ask him to speak English (little joke...I have to ask him to speak in lay terms). He always simplifies things in a way that is digestible. He has a dry sense of humor that I also enjoy. And, he treats my four year old like a person with thoughts and feelings - very respectful.

I highly recommend Dr. Lenchner to anyone who may be having problems with allergies or related nose/sinus/pulmonary conditions. I have been to many ENTs and allergists and he has offered me premiere service and care that very few other doctors have gotten close to. Especially if you have a difficult to treat, refractory, or recurrent condition, he is great. The wait times are very small compared to other places, the staff are nice, and they cover many insurance plans, and Ive never had any problems with billing. The free samples are a plus too!

I called to make an appointment, after 10 mins on hold a very unhappy woman answered to phone. She was rude and unprofessional. I asked to make an appointment for allergy testing and after a huff, she quickly read out the location names. I told her I dont know where most of those places were and if she could just tell me which location is closest to the airport. She quickly interrupted me and said she didnt know where the airport is. I asked again and clarified I meant Hartsfield Jackson, and she very condesendingly said, no she did not know where the airport is. Since we were at an impasse and she apparently could not be troubled to help, I Thanked her for her help and hung up. If this is the type of person they have for the first impression for them, I do not have high hopes for the rest of them. I will be finding a different practice for allergy testing and you probably should too.

Thorough allergy evaluation. Shots help for sure! Staff is nice to me.

Schedule with caution! Waited 90 minutes to see Dr Tanner, and had to leave to get to another appointment. Asked to have someone call me from the office as I left, and the phone call never came. Ended up having to follow up with them several days later. Unprofessional behavior and I am disappointed; youd never expect that long of a wait at an 8:15am appointment.

Dr Tanner is one, if not the best allergy Doctor in Atlanta. When I issues with my asthma as a child he was who I saw. 25 years later, my 7 year old son comes to see Dr Tanner as well
