Issa nope for me. My first visit involved the basic: greetings, evaluation and recommended treatment. Second visit did not go well at all. Got the bitter substance used before viewing your tonsils and adenoids sprayed all over my mask, glasses and mouth. I spat bitter juice for a while after my appointment. The doctor I saw (not calling a specific name, but it is reminiscent of Michelangelo) blamed the office staff while HE sprayed me. He seems irritated I would ask for an evaluation and was quite brief with me following my request. He frequently compared me with his daughter and told me to stop minding the symptoms I was experiencing. I will be seeking a second, independent opinion.

We arrived 20 minutes prior to our appointment time and wasnt seen by anyone until an hour later. There is literally no one in the lobby waiting BUT us! The gentleman came in 45 minutes later and his daughter was IMMEDIATELY seen!!! Also, every time we come here we have to pay. There is an extreme lack of communication between this office and the billing department. This will definitely be out last visit to this office. I would highly recommend finding another practice that values your time as a patient.

This place is run here by a bunch of people who do not know what they are doing. The scheduling is horrific and they will send 10 emails for 1 appointment, with all different times.The nurse practioner is not very knowledgeable. She doesn’t know how to diagnose things and continues to just tell you that you need a different test - acid test, allergy test, ct scan, etc.The doctor doesn’t make time to visit with you even if you make an appointment with the doctor. They only push to a nurse who is probably just learning.I would not recommend this place at all. I have had 5 appointments with them for one issue which has not yet been diagnosed or treated, of course spending over 900 bucks in total… only to still be lost about my issue.

I go to the Stockbridge location. I LOVE this place!The staff is very helpful and patient and the office is nice and welcoming.Dr. Perry-Gilkes knows her stuff. She really listens and shows sincere compassion when youre going through some things. It means so much in this day and age when doctors really take their time to listen to what you have to say and how you really feel and design your treatment accordingly rather than taking the blanket approach.Oya, the speech pathologist, has made my life so much better since Ive been seeing her. She is awesome and has made what I envisioned was going to be a boring and painful experience to be the exact opposite. She is also very compassionate. Oya is a joy to work with in every way.Sending a big THANK YOU! to everyone at this location! 🤗

I was treated diagnosed with acid reflux last week. I started taking medication on Monday for it. It suppressed my appetite but I definitely felt a difference in the reflux and my bloating was down. That changed on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I was bloated. The thought of food makes me nauseous. I had a headache that wouldn’t go away and was having stomach pain, along with some other symptoms. This continued on Thursday, so I called the nurse line. I had to leave work on Friday because I felt so bad. I called the nurse line again. Still no response. After a few hours, I called to try and schedule an appointment and was assured that I’d get a call back. The office closes at 3:30, so I called again at three. I was once again told I’d get a call back. So I asked what time and was told around 4. It is now 10 pm, I still haven’t gotten a call back. I can barely eat. And I’m going into the weekend without an answer.

Everything was organized and I was called and emailed and kept up to date with everything. I even got a call asking how I was doing after my septoplasty and if I had any questions. Everyone knows what they’re doing and you can tell they try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Very happy that I went with them.

Billing department is sketchy! Even with insurance get ready to pay literally $100 out of pocket - PER MINUTE. I was charged twice for a new patient visit comprehensive and getting my nose cauterized. Then the follow-up appointment that lasted approximately 2 minutes I just got a bill that was more than the actual procedure. This looks a lot like insurance fraud to me. Identical to other reviews, they wont give any cost estimate and then receive blind charges.

My experience was nothing short of AMAZING! Dr. Weinman was awesome such a sweet gentle spirit. I went in for deviated septum surgery, each appointment my wait time was very minimal and the staff was very friendly and professional. The day of my surgery which was at a different location the staff was also professional with minimum wait time. Before my surgery each staff member came in and introduced themselves and explained what role they would be playing, it really eased my nervousness. after surgery my nurse was attentive and kind ❤️. I give them a 20 out of 10

Please please make sure to request seeing a doctor. I saw the PA here twice after having months of pressure, pain, & a ear that felt closed up. She told me to take mucinex the first time with a steroid shot. The second time I came back with no relief- she asked if I took the mucinex , I said no because I didn’t feel that would give me enough relief and felt something was really wrong. She very quickly said “well the only other thing we could do is put tubes in your ears, that’s your only option” in a very unfriendly tone. She prescribed an antibiotic.Fast forward to a month later & going to get a second opinion at north side & had to have an in office procedure & found out it’s actually a very serious condition in which spinal fluid may be leaking into my ear & would require immediate surgery.I could have caught this earlier if MRI’s, CT scans were done not if I took mucinex. Disappointed in this practice.

Went to the Brookhaven office for an allergy test. The PA Crystal came in and immediately asked if I wanted treatment in person or at home. She did not give an other information about my results or the treatment plan. Without a full understanding of the treatment and surprised by her blunt and rushed manner, I was set up for at home treatment. The appointment was brief and I felt rushed out the door in the end. No explanation of what exactly I was allergic to or the financial, medical, or time commitment of the treatment. A week later on a Saturday, I received an email about an almost 3K$ charge for allergy shots. When I contacted Billing, they frankly told me I had already signed that I would be financially responsible for the entire treatment and that it could not be canceled. It took another 2 weeks to even get in touch with the practice manager to discuss my displeasure with my original visit. I was promised a follow up virtual consultation with a PA to discuss my results. Only after another 2 weeks and multiple phone calls in one day did I finally receive a call back. But it was not scheduled or confirmed. One afternoon I got a random call from the practice with an allergy technician, not even a PA, about my results. After a month of broken promises and poor customer service, they still thought I would continue treatment. I have yet to confirm the charges for the treatment have been dropped. I would not wish this practice on my worst enemy. They claim to treat you like family, but the kind of family who is only interested in taking your money. I felt like they wanted to make a quick buck off of my treatment. I never saw an actual doctor before they charged me for a years worth of allergy shots, which is ridiculous.

I had been dealing with a nagging cough for weeks, always worse in the morning. One of my family members recommended ENT Institute and Dr. Carothers. The office was super clean, chairs were spread apart for social distancing and the staff was all wearing masks. The wait was quick, I completed all my forms online.Dr. Carothers was great. He asked a lot of questions and was very thorough. He really wanted to get down to the root of the cough and how to help prevent it.Got a CT Scan done and someone came in to discuss payment with me prior to the scan to make sure I understood and there werent any surprises as I was checking out.Definitely recommend this office!

Crystal Gay, PA, was very nice and addressed my reason for visit; however, it was not clear that taking a look in my ears and nose AFTER she had addressed my reason for visit was an additional procedure for $493. No follow-up from office manager Dawn, electronic communication sent via their website, or a written letter sent via US Mail. I will not return to ENT Institute and advise you to either re-consider, or make sure you request to know what they may want to do that will bill you for additional procedures. Signing a bunch of electronic forms during check-is probably covering themselves legally, but basic consent is common courtesy. E.g. Just to double-check what Ive just told you, Id like to perform xyz procedure. Would you like me to do that? YES or NO

This was my first visit! It is a new location and is very spacious and inviting. The front staff greeted me with a friendly hello and smiles. I had printed and completed the patient packet in advance, which I advise that you do to save a lot of time. There will be a few more forms to sign in the office. I completed a hearing test in a sound booth, and it was neat and informative. The audiologist was kind and professional and helped me to understand the tests. Dr. Carothers was professional, listened, asked questions, completed examination, wrote prescriptions and made follow up recommendations. He was friendly and I felt comfortable. Call them today if you need an ENT! It only took a couple of days for me to get an appointment.

Both Allison and Jennifer have been excellent in devising appropriate exercises, monitoring my progress, and interacting in a cordial manner. Is there anything less than 1 star? This place is not a doctor or any kind of specialist, they are THIEVES, watch out, I warned you. I visited for both my ears being infected, a serious situation with pain, I waited 1hr for the the DR. he spent less than 5 minutes to look at my ears and did not give me any information whatsoever, I paid in full for the visit fee although they did not do anything. 1 week later they send me a ridiculously high bill for no reason. I will file for a complaint against this place, they are THIEVES, NOT DOCTOR.

I left this place crying and in pain. Went because of blockage in my left ear. The pa crystal tried to remove the blockage with the ear vacuum and it was one of the most painful processes of my life. She asked if I wanted to get drops to soften the wax or keep going. Meanwhile my face is clearly showing extreme pain. I told her I did not want to keep going. I don’t know what they teach at PA school or at this institute but they need re-education courses or they need to set people up with MDs.

Generally it’s very hard to get an ENT appointment anywhere within a week. They have numerous locations which make it convenient to gain an appointment. The offices in Stockbridge and Brookhaven have very clean offices. The staff is friendly and personable. If your looking for an ENT, this is the place to go.

Great Customer Service... Jessica along with the other receptionist are Awesome!!! I did not give it five stars because the actual visit with the doctor was too fast, it seemed very disconnected from the experience I was having before he walked in the door, the doctor left me with more questions than answers. The patient visit summary they sent via was also not as detailed as I thought it should be provided all the written, and verbal information I had given. FYI This was my first visit with this company and location.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would! They did absolutely nothing to cure the problem I went there for, yet theyve charged me over $700 OUT OF POCKET, even with insurance. During my last appointment I was forced to sit in the cold check-up room waiting on my doctor for over 50 minutes. Theyre not transparent at all with their costs (even after I asked for verification several times prior to my appt.) because theyd rather mail you surprise bills! My doctor was cold and had no bedside manner. Even after trying to dispute my surprise charges, I was basically told sorry, pay us anyway. Overall horrible experience.

I dont know where to start with this place. If I could give no stars I would. I have been trying to get a sinus surgery since May15th of 2020. I was told that my insurance dont cover in office visit. That is fine with me to have it done in the hospital. First of all in the HISTORY of me getting surgery of any kind, minor or major, what kind of place schedules a surgery and do not check with insurance first! The week of my surgery I get there on a Monday and surgery was scheduled for that Friday the 15th. I was supposed to get a covid-19 test and fill out paperwork. I couldnt get the test because they didnt have any at the office supposedly, and if it wasnt for me asking was all this covered I would have never known it wasnt covered. They would have done the surgery and then billed me for anything that wasnt covered. Based on previous reviews they do this often. That is scamming people!! I was then told I would receive a call to reschedule for the hospital because they were back doing surgeries. I waited a week no call, so I called and was transferred to a male surgery coordinator. I left a voice mail. No return call for a week. I called back, and sent to the voicemail of another scheduling coordinator by the name of Kaci. No return call from her either. I call to schedule an in office visit, and told the lady I havent heard from the coordinator and what is the problem with getting my surgery scheduled. She put me hold to ask the lady to call me to schedule and told me she would call me by the end of day. Never heard from her. I didnt go to the appointment because it wasnt my DR. in the first place and never received a call about my surgery. I finally get an email from her asking about my surgery. I actually received two emails which is unprofessional to schedule a surgery. So I replied by calling her and she still refused to call me back at anytime. I wanted an explanation as to why I have been ignored and why no courtesy call about the delay. I called earlier this week and no response was the last straw for me. I had no problem with Dr. Carrothers. It is his staff and if he wants to help people and make money , Kaci is not the one to enhance that!! What planet does she live on and in what world is surgery blown off and thrown under the rug for months! I suffered with sinus infection and had to be hospitalized on the 29th of July ! I finally reached back out to my previous ENT doctor who did my first surgery years ago that was successful and help me out and he couldnt believe the treatment I received there. Here it is the end of July and havent heard from these people at all about my surgery. She sends emails but dont respond to the calls about them. She trying to create a paper trail leading to nothing. Maybe she dont want to schedule black people at all. Not sure whats her problem. Cant find a corporate office to report this too at all. But its ok my review is detailed and real!!!! Run far from this place the billing and communication is the worst I have seen for a place that has 13 locations. Its summer time and this was suppose to be done in the spring!! Then had the nerve to want a $2 co-pay for no services performed the week of my surgery. I received no covid test before the surgery, all the paperwork I signed is void, because I never got rescheduled at all, so the visit was useless and didnt go anywhere!!! They can eat it!! They did nothing for me at all. Something going on illegal at this place with billing and surgeries. Cant put my finger on why surgeries are scheduled before insurance is checked first!!! Insane practices, and insane staff who is incompetent to handle patients information and following up is asking too much of this place. I got several signs to not let this place handle my surgery and run!! Dont understand why even the Dr. hasnt followed up with me knowing I was sick and was he actually concerned I had not been scheduled yet? Maybe he was told I would not respond to the emails or never called. Very strange and mind boggling. Got my old Dr. back!!!

Discussed a very practical (and hopefully effective) approach to determining the underlying cause of my snoring and different approaches to address it.

Great service while in the appointment, but from the time I walked in they had me in the system a someone else. Which wasnt a super big problem, but it was frustrating to go all the way up to my pharmacy just for them to tell me the prescription hadnt been sent in. This was about 9 hours after my appointment. That was the biggest downfall for me. Other than that great service, great location, cleanliness, staff, etc.

Working with the speech pathologist, Stacey Tygielski, was an absolute dream. I went to see her with the desire to get my vocal chords to a stronger place so that I could get back into musical performance. She is a musical theatre geek so I was immediately excited to work with her. She is extremely knowledgeable, she introduced me to so many different things that involve speech, the throat, and breathing that I never would have known about. I saw her for about 4-5 months and in that time I could feel that there were improvements happening. She has given me tools that I will use going forward, not only for singing, but for general healthy speech. She is kind and brilliant, and I couldn’t recommend her more to anyone looking to build confidence in their speech. I will miss working with her and if I have any further troubles she is the only help I will ever need. Thank you Stacey!

Do not go here unless you want to be double and triple charged for visits. A PA will see you for 5 seconds to tell you they are referring you elsewhere, then document your old information from previous visits as if she performed the exam or tests, and then will proceed to charge you for a full visit. I regret the day I walked in the door here. Go see the doctors at Piedmont Ear, Nose, Throat, and Related Allergy instead. They tell you up front everything you will owe and never double charge. You’ll also see an actual physician so you don’t waste money on a visit for a PA to just refer you elsewhere.

Thee allergy doctors are very knowledgeable, and helpful with questions and concerns, giving excellent feedback, answers, and polite service. **DO NOT RECOMMEND** Their charge for a 5-10 minute appointment with a nurse practitioner was $500. The NP was nice and the wait was reasonable at 30 minutes or less. The front office is the weird part... you pay your co-pay at sign in...weird but ok I get that. At check out they try to sell you alkaline water... very weird. After the fact I get a bill in the mail stating I own much more than the amount in the office. When I disputed the total they said tough, pay or go to collections. Could not get a manager to call me back.

The staff is amazing...always friendly and efficient! The Doctors and nurses know their stuff and seem to genuinely care for the patient and do what is best for us.

I had a bad experience with ENT Institute when it came to billing and charges and clarity on what is covered by me and my insurance. I went in for a slight ear pain, dr checked and said there was no issues with my ear but they did endoscope and other services very quickly and when i finished I found a $600 + bill. 200$ for the visit and 400 for the other checks. I was billed for this later and when I called to check why my bill was too high they said we made you aware as part of the ton of paper work I signed upon check in. the insurance doesnt cover many of these high cost endoscopes.It seems this complain was not a surprise to them since they quickly offered to cancelled my next appointment I think they are a one time visit type of place and not into building a long relationship with patients.

First of all, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!!!I have been to ear nose throat institute few months before. I would like to share my horrible experience over there.After my doctor’s visit, they send me a bill of 272$ for a procedure. I was not at all informed that what the doctor is going to do will be considered as a procedure and will cost you more than my co-pay. When I called them, the billing lady (can’t remember he name) told me that I have signed the consent that I will pay for any procedure.How a patent going to know, what the doctor is doing is considered as a ‘procedure’ or not? Yes, I have to pay for procedure. But where was NO Informed consent, where the doctor will ask a patient that this is a procedure and you will be charged.After several month of trying to chase them, today I finally manage to talk to the billing department. She was extremely rude and told me they are going to put a billing agency if I am not paying the bill. And then she said thank you three times a row and just hang on the phone. How immoral and unethical that is? Is this considered as customer service? Am I paying for this? As a patient I have full right to know before any procedure, if I need to pay anything out of pocket. I was never ever informed.I would request the authority to take action and revised the bill. This is Just wrong to squeeze patient without even letting them know.

I was having some ear issues and wanted to book something before traveling. I was able to make an appointment with a doctor for the next day! The staff is friendly and operationally efficient. After the nurse saw me the doctor came right in. Dr. Carothers was knowledge and soothed my fears. I’m looking forward to the treatment plan and follow up appointments. 👍🏽

The receptionist wasn’t too friendly but the nurse and doctor made up for it. I went in for Botox and was treated very well. The doctor was very knowledgeable and skilled. I’ll definitely go back.
